PD: Can you give us a short introduction?

We are a sentimental indie band duo called MeloMance.

My name is Kim Minseok.

My name is Jung Donghwan.

W..what is this?

We invited two guests to a French restaurant in Korea specializing in meat cuisine.

The main ingredients consisted of meats that are highly unfamiliar to the Korean taste palate. We decided to keep the main ingredients a secret until the end.

The meat has a different texture.

Like if you see how it crumbles apart like this.

This meat is extremely soft you guys

I think I could chew it with just my tongue

This is probably one of easier foods to eat

or it might not be chicken at all…

The size makes me think it's not chicken

This is seriously so delicious

Mm~ gosh this is so good

I'm really curious what meat this food was made with

It doesn't seem like the kind of meat we usually eat

I don't think it's meat we're used eating..

PD: It looks like you guys are pretty much done,

so let's try and guess the ingredients

Oh what the LOL wow

I'm kind of scared..

Why are there pigeons here??

PD: Aren't there dishes made with pigeons in France? Chef: Yes, there is

I didn't imagine there might be pigeons in any of these dishes

Since I see cats a lot, I hope it's not this either

PD: Which meats do you consider edible or inedible?

Honestly that would differ depending on the person..

I don't think it has much to do with whether or not we can stomach a type of meat,

but more to do with how often

and familiar we are with eating it.

Truth be told, if we experienced a wider variety of meats more often,

then we might think differently.

What you ate today was simply different to you

because you haven't eaten it before

but in other countries this is considered normal, every day food.

I think those who criticize this have a narrow understanding of other cultures.

I think once I knew it was rabbit, it started tasting like rabbit.

Doesn't it seem like rabbit?

Pork Chops Recipe - Hyderabadi Style | Quick and Easy Pork Recipe - Duration: 3:48.

Succulent and flavour packed, these Hyderabadi Pork Chops are to die for!

We start by roasting some spices in hot oil.

We'll use cloves, cinnamon, peppercorns, whole cardamom, Shahi jeera, Coriander - Cumin powder,

also called dhana-jeera powder and poppy seeds.

We use whole peppercorns for a stronger flavour.

Similarly, the tiny poppy seeds add a tasty, nutty flavour to the masala.

Roast the spices for about 2 minutes and set them aside.

The spices go into the blended paste used to flavour the chops.

We'll start by adding some some coriander leaves, grated coconut, green chillies, the

roasted spices, mint leaves and finally some coconut water to the blender.

If you can't obtain coconut water then simply use normal water.

You should vary the amount of chillies based on the amount of spice you can handle.

Blend this well to form a paste.

Now, we move on to pressure cooking the chops.

We start by heating some oil in the pressure cooker.

Add some onion paste, which we'll allow to brown slightly.

Then we'll add in the prepared paste and stir.

Continue cooking this for about 5 minutes or until the oil separates and rises to the surface

Just like other meat chops, a pork chop is a cut taken perpendicular to the spine.

It usually contains a rib and is served as an individual portion.

Begin adding the chops to the pressure cooker one at a time.

Your meat should be with bone, for maximum flavour

Then add in some water to help the meat to cook.

Give the mixture a stir so the chops are evenly coated in the mixture and close the lid to

cook for 3 whistles.

Once the pressure settles, open and check to see if your meat is cooked.

The colour of your meat will be paler than before

If it isn't cooked, add some more water and cook for another whistle.

If it is cooked, remove the pieces and keep them aside.

Then continue cooking the gravy until all the water evaporates and your gravy is thick.

Once reduced, cover the chops in the masala.

You may roast, fry or grill your pork chops.

We do this to get a nice sear.

Heat some oil in a pan.

Add your chops one at a time.

Ensure that you add enough masala to your chops while frying.

Cook them for approximately for 3 to 4 minutes on each side.

Do this on a high flame, flipping them midway.

Once cooked, transfer them onto a plate, squeeze some lime and your lip smacking, hyderabadi

pork chops, fresh from the glamrs kitchen are ready to be devoured!
