Squeaks and I live right near a river.

It's fun to watch the water rush past, and sometimes people even go fishing in it!

Like most of the rivers in the world, it flows downhill, right along the ground.

But did you know that some rivers flow right off of cliffs?

Just look at this one!

This is a river that's flowing right off a cliff, and that's what we call a waterfall.

This waterfall is called Angel Falls.

It's in Venezuela, in South America, and it's the tallest waterfall in the world!

It's almost 1000 meters tall.

That's taller than the tallest building!

Waterfalls start off as normal rivers, with lots of water flowing towards one place.

But then the water in the river comes to a cliff.

It flows over the side and becomes a waterfall!

In the case of Angel Falls, it becomes a huge waterfall.

But the cliff hasn't always been there.

The river actually built the cliff.

[Squeaks squeaks]

No, really!

Where there's now a huge cliff?

That used to just be regular flat ground with the river flowing over it.

But if you looked underneath this river, you'd find a layer of hard rock, then a layer of

softer rock or dirt, then another layer of hard rock, over and over in a pattern!

It looks almost like a cake with lots of layers!

Some of the parts of the river hit only the hard layers, but the water eventually hits

some of the softer layers.

That's where the water can do some real work.

When water goes over rocks, it can wear away at those rocks over time.

We call this erosion.

It's easier to for the water to erode soft things than hard things, like how it's easy

for you to smash a sand castle, but harder for you to break a brick.

So, as the water goes over the hard rock, it doesn't do too much.

But as it goes over the soft rock, it wears away the layer of soft rock more quickly.

The water takes a few little pieces of rock away, then a few more, and more, until finally,

the soft rock layer is gone.

When the layer of soft rock is completely eroded away, that creates a cliff between

two of the layers of hard rock.

This takes a very, very long time to happen, sometimes millions of years.

[Squeaks squeaks]

Exactly!

The water flows over the top of the cliff and falls straight down as a waterfall.

Angel Falls has grown especially tall because of how the water and the rock interact.

The land around Angel Falls has layers of very soft rock that erode super easily, and

tons of incredibly hard rock that hardly erodes at all.

Because of the big difference in how these layers erode, this river has carved a huge

amount of soft rock out of the way, and very little hard rock.

That created the tallest waterfall in the whole world!

How to find South with the Southen Cross - Duration: 2:06.

In out last flag video we looked at flags which feature the southern cross – fi you

have not already then definitely check it out – and in that video I mentioned that

you could use the cross to find south.

Well in this short video I am going to show you how to do that!

The north star sits in a position known as the northern Celestial Pole which marks north

means that it looks to be pretty much static while all the other stars move around it.

Because of this it is really easy to find north in the northern hemisphere, but in the

south, there is no star marking the area.

This is not a problem though as there are a number of ways to find the southern celestial

pole, requiring just a little bit of imagination.

The easiest of these involving the Sothern cross and two other stars located to its left

hand side known as the pointers.

All you have to do is imagine a line running through the middle of the cross and a line

coming from between the two other stars and where the two lines meet will roughly equate

to the southern celestial pole.

This works no matter what direction the constellation is facing: it could be here, here or even

here and it still points to the way south.

Obama News: Massive Obama Scandal Explodes, Records Are Now Missing… | Top Stories Today - Duration: 3:38.

For eight years, Barack Obama ran the most corrupt administration in the history of the

United States.

Republican lawmakers let him get away with everything because they were afraid of being

called racist.

The dirt on Obama continues to be uncovered.

Now, a new report shows Obama's IRS "lost" important emails belonging to Lois Lerner,

who carried out Obama's order of targeting conservative organizations (via Judicial Watch).

This is destruction of evidence and obstruction of justice!

It's a disgrace that Obama was allowed to use the IRS to target conservative groups

politically.

This is the kind of thing you see in banana republics–not in the United States!

Obama's goal was always to degrade America.

The watchdog group, Judicial Watch, has been fiercely fighting the IRS to get justice for

this gross abuse.

The IRS has been obstructing justice at every step.

The Obama holdovers in the IRS don't want the truth to get out!

For the last several years, the IRS has refused to show courts the emails from Lois Lerner,

who served under Obama as the director of the IRS's Exempt Organizations Unit.

She was the one who would ultimately decide who got approved for tax-exempt status and

who didn't.

A judge actually ordered the IRS to submit sworn declarations about what happened to

Lerner's "lost" emails.

The statements provided were not substantive at all.

The IRS treated the judge's order like a joke.

With Obama still in the White House at the time, they felt untouchable

Later, the IRS told the court that they had backups of all emails.

When called to follow-up, the IRS still "failed to search" for the lost emails.

In other words, they just never got around to it.

Now, they're flat-out saying the emails are missing.

What is it with Democrats and missing emails?

The truth is evident.

If a Democrat deletes an email, it's because there's something incriminating in it.

It was true with Hillary Clinton, and it's true with Obama's IRS!

We can only speculate what was in those emails.

Maybe there were directions directly from the big man–Barack Obama–himself.

Lerner decided to delete her messages to avoid incriminating her boss.

After all, Democrats would rather die (or kill) than let their Golden Boy Obama get

his hands dirty.

The cover-up is pathetic and sick!

What's frustrating is that there have been no consequences for such a blatant abuse of

power.

This is an issue where no one disagrees with what happened.

Obama's IRS admitted to targeting conservative groups and slowing down their applications

for tax-exempt status.

Obama felt threatened by the TEA Party and tried his best to stifle them.

In total, a whopping 426 groups were targeted (via Fox News).

Some of them are still waiting for approval.

The problem is that Obama's IRS head, John Koskinen, is still in place.

He needs to be fired!

President Trump is the only one who can put an end to this madness.

First, Trump should terminate all of Obama's appointees.

Then, he needs to start a special DoJ investigation to prosecute Obama for abuse of power!

Should Trump appoint a special prosecutor to go after Obama for his targeting of conservatives

via the IRS?

Hi this is Jay P. Morgan.

Today on The Slanted Lens we're going to talk about shooting animals on set.

Some tips that I've learned over the years from shooting every kind of animal you can

imagine.

From tigers and lions and bears, literally, to horses and dogs and cats and even a goat,

who was just eating my shirt.

He is eating my shirt.

Let's get started and see what we can do.

Number one, design your shot around the animal.

What that means is leave a place for the trainer to be, so they can see the animal.

Get your lighting out of the way so that there's a clear view to the trainer, so that the animal

has a clear view to be able to work with the trainer.

This goat is eating my arm.

Like he's just really excited about licking my arm.

Number two, the secret to good animal photography on set is the look of the animal.

Where is the animal looking?

Where's the animal looking?

Is he looking at the camera?

Do you want him to look at the camera?

If you want the animal to look at the camera you've got to get the trainer or the owner

as close to the camera as possible.

I mean as close as possible.

That's the only way you're going to get the animal to look back at the camera.

If you want them to look at an object or something else on set, you've got to get the trainer

or the owner on the line of sight of that object on set.

So as they look at the trainer, it looks like they're looking at the person or the object

that you want them to look at in set.

It's a strange kind of pedicure, elbowcure [SP].

Just get your elbow kind of worked on there, feels good.

So a good animal trainer is a fabulous ally when you're working on set.

They understand the animals, they understand the pace of the animals.

Talk to them when they arrive on set.

What's going to happen here, this is where we're going to be.

What do you suggest?

How can I get this look I'm looking for?

Make them your friend.

Make them your ally in that process because they want their animal to work as well, they

want their animal to do well, so if you work with them and follow their lead they'll help

you get the shot that you want to get.

I think he's bathing my other arm.

When we went out to shoot hippos on set one time, we wanted to have a shot where the hippos

had their mouth open.

Well we weren't sure how we were going to get that shot.

So we took our dog trainer with us, and he, on a stick, tied a string, with a little bit

of straw on it and he would hang it out in front of the cage, in front of the hippo's

nose, when the hippo'd go to take a bite of the straw, he would throw half an apple in

the hippo's mouth.

Well after 10 minutes those hippos stood there ... with their mouths wide open.

You know, we couldn't get them to close their mouths.

Number four, for video keep the shot as simple as possible.

Don't have the cameras moving and all kinds of stuff going on.

Keep it very, very simple so you can concentrate on the animal, their look, and their performance.

When we shot Playology it was a very difficult shot because the animal wants to be looking

at the camera but the camera's moving as well.

So we've got several things happening at once.

We've got a trainer, and a dog trying to look at the camera, and so you've got all those

things trying to happen at one time.

It makes it very, very difficult.

Number five, use a treat, they love a treat, they hang around for a treat.

When the animal's on set, be laser focused.

Even wild animals that are supposedly trained, which means they basically won't kill anyone,

you don't ever want to turn your back on a predator.

Always face them, be looking at them, make sure that they know you are there and that

you are not going to surprise them, or that you're not going to look vulnerable as you

turn away from them.

One of the times I was shooting a tiger on set, the trainer told me be careful because

if you're not paying attention to the tiger, the tiger will basically turn around and it

will spray you which is like getting peed on.

So I'm pushing the cages and trying to get the tiger into place because the other tiger

wasn't working, and I look up all of a sudden and there's the tiger's rear end, and he's

spraying me right in the face and down my shirt.

I mean it was gross, I stunk, our cat was scared to death that night when I went home

wondering who in the world...what animal just moved in.

So you've got to be careful around animals.

Number seven, be patient and work on the animal's time frame.

They're gonna want to move around, they're gonna not want to work, you're going to have

to give them time to rest, get a drink, and come back on.

Just be very, very patient.

But...

Number eight, be ready.

I can't tell you the number of times I've missed a great moment because I'm not concentrating.

The animal's there and I'm thinking well they're not really doing the right thing and then

all of a sudden they snap to and they do something really cool and I missed it because I'm not

concentrating.

If you can get your strobe set and be all bop, bop, bop so you can do several shots

in a row you're going to get much better shots for your animals when they're on set as they

move, as they do things, they get great expressions.

Shoot on bursts and for video keep the cameras rolling.

So number nine, probably the most important one of this entire list is get rid of every

single distraction.

That means people walking in the room, people talking, cars driving by, anything is going

to distract the animal if they're not used to it.

Animals want to protect themselves so they're very attuned to the noises and the things

going on around them.

So when someone walks or drops something or picks up something or whispers over in the

corner, they become very kind of focused on that.

So you've got to get everyone to settle, stand still, even for a still shoot, be very quiet,

and then you can work with the animal and start to get the things you want.

You'll be amazed how much more focused the animal gets when the room becomes very quiet

and very controlled.

You get their attention and things work much faster.

This goat is now eating my pants.

So there's some tips on how to work with animals on set.

You know, I learn every time I shoot with an animal I learn something new, every single

time.

I love working with animals, I don't mind the patience it takes to work with them.

I think they're a lot of fun and when you get the right shot they are just absolutely

amazing, very sweet.

So keep those cameras rolling.

Why Michelle From Spider-Man: Homecoming Looks So Familiar - Duration: 4:34.

Spider-Man: Homecoming's biggest stars are Hollywood veterans, but the film is easily

the youngest-skewing Spider-Man film ever made.

The story surrounds Peter Parker and a crowd of fresh-faced characters that includes Michelle,

played by 20-year-old Zendaya Coleman, an actress and singer known professionally as

just "Zendaya."

​Shake It Up!

If you know Zendaya from anywhere, it's either those "X Out" skin care commercials, or the

musical sitcom Shake It Up! that ran from 2010 to 2013 on the Disney Channel.

In her breakout role as Rocky Blue, she starred alongside Bella Thorne's CeCe Jones as background

dancers on a local dance series.

A big hit for the channel, Shake It Up! also spawned several music videos, turning Zendaya

and Thorne into household names — at least in households including pre-teen girls with

an affinity for Disney ...

Frenemies

Along with starring in Shake It Up!, Zendaya and Thorne also anchored the 2012 Disney Channel

made-for-TV movie Frenemies, comprised of three intertwined stories about the misadventures

of teens who are feuding with everyone from their best pal to their pet dog.

Viewed by more than four million people upon its premiere, the film proved there was plenty

of demand for Zendaya outside her hit series.

Her debut album

The same year Shake It Up! ended its run, Zendaya stepped out as a solo artist, releasing

her self-titled debut LP through Disney's music imprint, Hollywood Records.

Although the album wasn't a blockbuster hit, it performed respectably, peaking at No. 51

on Billboard and earning critical praise from outlets like AllMusic, who deemed it a "streamlined,

self-assured first effort."

You may have caught Zendaya promoting the record during a Today Show appearance in 2013,

Zendaya got a chance to headline her own Disney Channel original film in 2014 with Zapped,

which tells the story of a teen who realizes her phone is suddenly able to control all

the boys at her school.

Zaniness ensues, of course, but Zendaya's character eventually learns a valuable lesson

about how to treat people.

The broadcast gave the budding star another hit for the channel: it was viewed by nearly

six million people following its premiere, ending up as the most-watched cable broadcast

of the night.

Bad Blood

She's made plenty of her own music videos as a Disney starlet, but in 2015, Zendaya

made a high-profile cameo for another artist: Taylor Swift.

In Swift's "Bad Blood" video, Zendaya plays a character called Cut Throat, and if you're

among the millions who saw the star-studded clip in 2015, it might be one reason you thought

she looked familiar in Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Black-ish

In 2015, Zendaya appeared in ABC's hit dramedy series Black-ish as a guest star in the episode

"Daddy's Day."

Her character Resheida complicates an emotional tug-of-war between Dre and his daughter Zoey.

Though she was obviously a known commodity thanks to her Disney Channel tenure, this

Black-ish role put the young star in front of a whole new group of potential fans outside

the Disney bubble.

Undercover

After sharing the spotlight in Shake It Up, Zendaya took center stage in her own Disney

Channel sitcom with K.C.

Undercover, which premiered in 2015.

Zendaya plays genius high school student K.C.

Cooper, who learns her parents are actually spies — and they want to recruit her.

"For the last time: who are you?"

"I'll never talk!"

"My name is K.C.

Cooper and I'm a 16-year-old government spy!"

And although it might have seemed like a bit of a step back to return to her cable roots

just as her big-screen career was poised to take off, she definitely had some compelling

reasons.

As Zendaya told Marie Claire, "A big reason why I wanted to come back to Disney is because

I saw a lack of diversity on the channel.

To see a black family, to see a young girl with these adorable Afro puffs…little things

like that are so important."

All Night

Zendaya's good luck streak with music video cameo appearances continued in 2016, when

she was asked to film a part for Beyoncé's "All Night."

Aside from the thrill of working with a global superstar she claimed she'd been "obsessed

with" since birth, Zendaya told People she felt like she got to be "a part of music history"

on the shoot, which helped round out the visual album Beyoncé crafted for her acclaimed Lemonade

LP.

As of now, it's been watched more than 47 million times—an impressive number even

when you put it alongside a worldwide box-office smash like Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Mike Papantonio Dissects The Legality Of Trump Jr.'s "Collusion" Scandal - Duration: 3:13.

The secret service has directly responded to the president's lawyer concerning remarks

he made about Donald Trump Jr's meeting with a Russian lawyer.

Jay Sekulow claimed the secret service would have vetted Trump Jr's meeting if it was considered

nefarious.

The president's son was not under the protection of the secret service back in June of 2016

when the meeting took place.

For more on this we're joined tonight, the host of America's Lawyer, Mike Papantonio.

Mike, great to have you with us.

Okay, there's a meeting.

Where's the crime?

Where's the grand jury?

Where is all this?

I mean, CNN is hanging their hat and their careers on this that something is there.

Where's the legal there there?

Yeah, well, yeah good luck with that CNN.

Look, there are plenty of legal arguments to be made on Trump Jr's behalf, and unfortunately

for him, his lawyers don't seem to be making any of them.

You know, democrats want to think that this revelation was the smoking gun.

CNN, it's their smoking gun that's going to bring down the end of the Trump administration,

but this case is not as clear cut as some people would like it be.

Well, they've been running the same graphic for four days.

Their graphics guy must have gone on vacation or something.

You know [crosstalk 00:01:16]

It's very clear, Mike, it's very clear.

It seems like CNN especially is trying to weigh public opinion against the president,

but where's the legality of all of this?

Where's the legal net here?

First of all, they're losing on their effort, but in particular this case, just like in

any criminal prosecution, there are countless different sets of criteria that have to be

met in order to reach a conclusion that anything was wrong here.

For example, was the lawyer working on behalf of the Russian government or was she just

a citizen who wanted to help the Trump campaign?

Was Donald Trump aware of her role within the government, if one existed?

Did he knowingly and intentionally seek information from a foreign national to aid his father's

campaign?

Those are just a few of the many different questions that have to all be answered yes

in order to even begin to build a case.

If any one of those questions, Ed, is a no, then the case begins to fall apart quickly.

Here again, it's just like we've seen so many times.

It's almost like CNN and MSNBC don't have any lawyers on their staff advising them about

the importance of intent.

Even if you can prove that the answers to all those questions, for example, are yes,

Trump Jr's intent to get information from a foreign national to aid his father's campaign,

you still have to run into the question of whether or not this is even something that

can be prosecuted.

Right now, probably not.

It's just media speak, and it's another situation of CNN not actually talking to lawyers who

might handle this for a living.

The lawyers representing Trump, by the way, have been paid almost $700,000, and they are

talking media speak.

They're not talking about true, legal aspects of why this probably won't be a case.

It could be if there's more information than what we're seeing there.

I feel like any time you can have queso and guacamole

and margaritas you should.

I like to choose what the meal is gonna be.

So it depends on the night.

And I also love a cheese plate.

A beautiful cheese plate is very easy to make.

I mean you don't have to make anything, you just prepare it.

There's some preserves of some sort, some fancy preserves,

that it looks like you made it but you didn't.

And then the greatest cheeses.

I mean I like to find a truffle cheese.

If I die and somebody buries me in a truffle cheese

I'll be perfectly happy.

That would be my last meal, just a large truffle cheese

and some crackers.

But truffle cheese is my go to for sure.

But then also something that's a little bit harder

like a manchego and then a goat cheese and then some honey.

Some truffle honey.

You can never overdo the amount of truffle.

And then some great crackers.

It's not that hard.

And then pimento cheese if you're in the south, of course.

Pimento cheese is a go to.

There's a laid back nature to Texas

that's not necessarily in New York.

So when we have a dinner party in New York

we see people because I think it's good for conversation,

but we also want it to be super laid back.

For people to feel like they can take their shoes off,

That they can spill, that's it's fun

and that it's a low key night.

We want it to feel like people can have a really fun night.

That there's dancing.

The great music.

And we usually start slow in the Willie Nelson area

and then towards the end there's some Tupac.

'Cause people like to dance.

Or some Pitbull.

We definitely don't take ourselves too seriously as Texans.

Media Covering Up Hillary's Direct Link to Trump Jr. Meeting | Top Stories Today - Duration: 2:35.

Democrat fingerprints are all over the meeting between Donald Trump Jr. and a Russian lawyer,

indicating that it may have been a set-up.

The New York Times reported that Rinat Akhmetshin and Anatoli Samachornov were both present

during the June 2016 meeting between Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya and members of

the Trump presidential campaign.

(via Breitbart).

However, the failing New York Times refused to elaborate on the translator, Anatoli Samachornov,

who was employed by the State Department while Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State.

The New York Times–and other liberal publications following their lead–are desperately trying

to cover-up Hillary Clinton's connection to the now infamous meeting.

Last June, Donald Trump Jr. agreed to meet with Natalia Veselnitskaya in the heat of

the presidential election.

The Russian lawyer claimed to have opposition research information on Hillary Clinton.

Trump Jr. quickly learned that the dirt on Clinton was a ploy used to get his attention.

The real purpose of the meeting was to lobby the potential president's son over Russian

sanctions.

While the meeting was ultimately feckless, the mainstream media considers this the smoking

gun that proves the Russian conspiracy theory they have been pushing for months.

Both Donald Trump Jr. and the Russian lawyer believe the meeting was a result of miscommunication.

Veselnitskaya asked Aras Agalarov to set-up the meeting.

Aras worked with Donald Trump on the 2013 Miss Universe pageant in Russia.

His son, Emir, is a famous Russian pop singer represented by publicist Rob Goldstone.

Goldstone ultimately set-up the meeting.

He is an American and an acquaintance of Donald Trump Jr.

Veselnitskaya claims she was told Donald Trump Jr. wanted to discuss sanctions and was surprised

that they were not on the same page.

Trump Jr. was also surprised.

He said the intermediaries probably "goosed up" and "in the end, there was probably

some bait-and-switch about what [the meeting] was really supposed to be about."

While the meeting amounted to nothing, the media spun it as proof of Donald Trump's

corruption.

However, the State Departments hands are all over this meeting, indicating that it may

have been a bigger "bait and switch" than even Trump Jr. realizes.
