Here at Oticon, we have these very open office environments.
It is really great because it creates the dynamics for innovation.
We need that, we cannot live without it.
But it also brings some challenges.
When I really need to get some work done,
I prefer to do it at home.
You tend to stay later just to get some peace and quiet in the evenings.
Sometimes you need to find a quieter room for concentration.
If you have to concentrate, or are on calls,
it is nice to eliminate the sounds around you.
This headset gave me the opportunity to focus longer, focus more deeply
on the topic, on the job, on the task I am working on.
I especially use it a lot when I need to create a space
that is more quiet for me to prepare for meetings.
I spend an average of 2,5 to 3 hours on Skype calls.
We have 3-4 nationalities in the call and I really have to understand what they are saying.
The quality of this headset and especially the sound has given me so much…
With these you can use all that energy on the task, you don't have to use
that energy to filter out what is going on.
That is what made the biggest impression on me.
When I first tried to hear the music, I was astounded that the music was so great.
But then I figured out that there was actually a Club mode in the headset.
That just opened up the world to me because then the music
came into my ears in a totally different way – that was just perfect!
I am very satisfied with the sound quality especially –
and also like the noise reduction because it helps me stay more focused
on the task I have.
I use it when I work, I use it when I go
to and back from work,
I use it on flights – I just find it hard to not have them now.
Since I have tried this new headset, it has given me so much more…
I have been much more efficient I would say.
I have tested these for about 40 days and it is safe to say
that now I am at the point of no return.
You get addicted to it.
