Waching daily Jul 28 2017

Kinda lonesome back here.

Yeah, little help.

Okay, um, just, I have to keep my hands on the wheel.

Excuse me. Whoo!

Ah, Dopinder.

Pool. Dead.

Hmm, nice.

Smells good, no?

Not the Daffodil Daydream. The girl.

Ah, yes. Gita.

Hmm. She is quite lovely.

She would have made me a very agreeable wife.

But, um...

Gita's heart has been stolen by my cousin Bandhu.

He is as dishonorable as he is attractive.

Dopinder, I'm starting to think

there's a reason I'm in this cab today.

Yeah, sir, you called for it, remember?

No, my slender brown friend. Love is a beautiful thing.

When you find it, the whole world

tastes like Daffodil Daydream.

So you gotta hold onto love...

...tight! Ah.

And never let go.

Don't make the same mistakes I did.

Got it? Yeah.

Or else the whole world tastes like Mama June after hot yoga.

Sir, what does Miss Mama June taste like?

Like two hobos fucking in a shoe filled with piss. Okay, enough.

I can go all day, Dopinder. The point is, it's bad!

Hmm, it's bad.

Uh, why the fancy red suit, Mr. Pool?

Oh, that's because it's Christmas Day, Dopinder.

And I'm after someone on my naughty list.

I've been waiting one year, three weeks...

six days and, oh...

14 minutes to make him fix what he did to me.

And what did he do to you, Mr. Pool?

This shit...

Boo!

Oh, shit!

I forgot my ammo bag.

Shall we turn back?

No, no time.

Fuck it. I got this.

9, 10, 11, 12 bullets, or bust.

Right here!

That's, uh, $27.50.

I... I never carry a wallet when I'm working.

Ruins the lines of my suit.

Oh. But, uh,

how about a crisp high five?

Okay.

Merry Christmas.

And a convivial Tuesday in April to you too, Pool!

John Mayer Surprises Fans With an Intimate Performance in LA - Duration: 1:53.

What's up guys?

For Complex News, I'm Beija Valez.

On Wednesday night John Mayer brought Bud Light's Dive Bar Tour to the Echoplex, where

he put on an intimate performance for a small crowd of lucky fans.

It was so intimate, in fact, that concert-goers were able to take pictures with Mayer, until

each and every fan who wanted to remember the experience got a pic with him.

Powered by Yondr, attendees were required to stow their smartphones away in order to

encourage them to fully experience the live set.

So yeah, unless you were media, you could forget that Snapchat story.

While you might've expected Mayer to trade in his electric guitar for an all-acoustic

sesh-- appropriate for the tiny venue--the singer slayed the stage with a full band supporting

his whole set.

While Mayer highlighted cuts from his most recent album, April's The Search for Everything,

he wasn't above playing the hits--including his famous cover of Tom Petty's "Free

Fallin" and the heartbreaker, "Slow Dancing in a Burning Room."

Nor was he all about keeping the spotlight on himself.

Toward the end of his performance, he had one more surprise up his sleeve: a guest spot

from Alessia Cara.

She took to the stage to belt out Erykah Badu's "On and On," before trading verses with

Mayer on her hit single "Stay" and his Billboard chart-topper, "Gravity."

After closing out his planned set, which was streamed live on Facebook, Mayer didn't

just leave.

Instead, he performed an encore, returning with an acoustic guitar and asking the crowd

for some deep cuts to play.

Among others, songs included "St. Patrick's Day" and "3x5," which allowed the crowd

to experience absolute nostalgia.

Of the set, Mayer said:

"After playing to some huge crowds all summer, it was really cool to come play a show in

a dive bar here in LA.

I'm glad Bud Light was able to put this on and allow me to play with an amazing singer

like Alessia Cara.

I had a blast playing with a brilliant young singer like her."

If you're bummed you missed the show on Wednesday, Mayer returns to Los Angeles on

The Search for Everything tour on July 30th.

That's the news for now, but for more music updates, keep it locked to Complex on YouTube

today.

Ripley, from Alien 3!

Fuck, you're old.

Fake laugh. Hiding real pain.

Go get Silver Balls.

You guys going for a bite? Early bird special?

Oh, like there's something wrong

with eating before sundown or saving money.

No, you know that bad guy that you let go?

He's got my girl.

You're gonna help me get her back.

Wade, is that you?

Yeah, it's me, Deadpool,

and I got an offer that you can't refuse.

I'm gonna wait out here, okay?

It's a big house.

It's funny that I only ever see two of you.

It's almost like the studio couldn't afford another X-Man.

And that is why, in my opinion...

the movie Cocoon is pure pornography.

Who brought this twinkly man?

Twinkly, but deadly.

My chrome-penised friend back there

has agreed to do me this solid.

In exchange, I said that I would

consider joining his boy band.

It's not boy band.

Sure it's not.

So, any luck winning Gita back?

I tried to hold on tight, Mr. Pool...

but Bandhu is more craftier and handsomer than me.

Well, I think you're pretty darn cute.

Dopinder. Hmm?

What was that?

Uh...

That was Bandhu in the trunk.

Ban who?

My romantic rival Bandhu. He's tied up in the trunk.

I'm doing as you said, DP.

I plan to gut him like a tandoori fish,

then dump his carcass on Gita's doorstep.

I did not tell him to do that.

Absolutely not. It got lost in translation.

Dopinder, this is no way to win Gita's heart back!

I'm so proud of you.

Drop Bandhu off, safe and gentle-like.

Kill him.

And then, win Gita back...

the old fashioned way: with your boyish charm.

Kidnap her.

He's super dead.

Whoa!

I presume a crisp high five?

For you? 10.

Okay, guys, let's get out there and make a difference.

You know what to do.

Knock 'em dead, Pool Boy!

Time to make the chimi-fuckin'-changas.

Not often a dude ruins your face...

skull-stomps your sanity, grabs your future baby mama...

and personally sees to four

of your five shittiest moments.

Let's just say it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

TES3MP 0.6.0 Trailer with NPC Sync - Duration: 1:19.

Hi there. I'm David Cernat, one of the two developers of TES3MP.

Over the past few months I've added NPC and quest synchronization to our project.

NPC synchronization especially is the one feature people have wanted the most

and the one that has never been done properly before

in a fanmade multiplayer project for a Bethesda game.

Well, it's here now, thanks to our project being based on OpenMW

and thanks to my fellow developer Stanislav creating an excellent foundation for me to work on.

With these additions, TES3MP is no longer just a proof of concept for player synchronization,

and has instead become a close approximation of what people have always wanted multiplayer Morrowind to be.

Of course, not everything works perfectly yet. There are plenty of rough edges,

unimplemented features and disruptive bugs, but the path is now open to fixing them all.

For now, try out our new version 0.6, and if you're sufficiently impressed by TES3MP's potential,

then help us finish it if you can.

While you're at it, feel free to join our subreddit, our Steam group and our Discord server

to keep in touch with our fast-growing community.

Shopping at Disney Springs! - Duration: 8:49.

Good morning, guys. I'm at the hotel

And its name is Disney's Coronado Springs Resort

It's a huge hotel

There are a lot of rooms, a pool, and a beautiful lake

The place where there are conferences and events is close to the registration lobby. It's pretty there

And I'll show you guys everything

Today I'm going to another park called Hollywood Studios. I'm excited about this

This is the place where my room is

There is a nice lake right there

I'm in love with this lake

It's super hot now, even though it's 8am

It says we have to be careful because there are alligators and snakes around

This is very common in Florida since there are a lot of lakes

I think I walk almost 5 minutes until get at the hotel's reception

Narrara is there waiting for me. She's getting our park tickets.

And I'll meet her to eat breakfast with her

Here is the food court

Right there is where conferences and events occur

Here is a little bakery

I liked this ceiling

And in front of the registration lobby there is a Disney Store

Cloths, toys...

There are stores like this at the Parks

And the prices are the same

So we took this Disney's bus

To go to Disney Springs

There are many stores there

We take 10 minutes to get there

And the bus is empty

But yesterday it was crowed

We just got at Disney Springs

We decided to stop by Zara

It's gonna be fast

OMG it's so hot outside

We got this map

Because we need to know where we are

It's huge here so we won't have time to stroll around

Because we are going to the park at 2 pm

We are going to stop by here

This is the biggest Disney Store

They cost $8

I love this! I do love Toy Story

It's $32

This kit is $20. I think is not that expensive

This store is huge. It's funny because it is not just for kids, adults love it

There are so many cool stuff

Stuff related to Disney

Look at these key chains

I like it

There are some with names

If you are lucky you can find yours

I'll never find my name here

These are the prices. We just need to check the colors to see the prices

For example, red means $9.99

Look, there is a cap in this backpack

Minnie stuff

I'm going to buy this cap because of the sun. Besides that, it's cute with these ears

Mickey wearing cowboy clothes

We already left the store

We bought this

A show is happening here

We are leaving now

Because we have to take the bus to go back to the hotel

And the go to the park

I bought this iced coffee since it's so hot as I said before

We were leaving when we decided to stop by this sote

To see these Disney's clothes

There are some deals like $20 or $10

We are seeing these Toy Story's shirts

It's $10

This is the store we just stopped by

I like the bag

And they also gave us this fan which is really good since it's so hot today

So there are many Disney's resorts

And then you take the bus that is going to your hotel

I'm waiting here

More Clues to the Oldest Fossils Ever - Duration: 4:50.

[♩INTRO]

It seems like every few months, the evolutionary biology community

has something new to get excited about.

Scientists keep finding evidence of incredibly old life.

Like, in March this year, researchers found remnants of ancient thermal vents

buried in rocks in Quebec, with microfossils that clocked in

around 3.7 to 4.28 billion years old.

These would've taken the crown for oldest fossils ever,

but a lot of scientists think that the original estimate was off by a billion years.

So we're still looking for more conclusive evidence of super old life.

And this week, a group from Denmark thinks they have some.

Partially buried under the ice and snow of West Greenland,

there's a belt of rock called the Isua Greenstone Belt.

In the 1970s, geologists dated the belt to be over 3.7 billion years old

some of the oldest rocks on Earth.

And for years, scientists have been probing the belt for evidence of ancient life.

In 2016, researchers found signs of some really old fossils called stromatolites,

which are sediment layers made by bacterial mats.

The wavy shapes and textures of certain layers looked similar

to other stromatolites.

But there wasn't enough proof of organic material,

to suggest they were actually made by microbes.

And now, researchers might have that proof… or at least more clues.

The authors of this new paper published in the journal Nature

used a technique called vibrational spectroscopy

to figure out the composition of tiny pockets in the Greenland rocks.

Specifically, the researchers looked at garnet inclusions,

which are minerals that got trapped inside the rocks

while they were being squished by heat and pressure and forming.

Within the garnet inclusions were small pockets of organic leftovers.

And when scientists bombarded these pockets with infrared light,

all of the molecules and atoms started to vibrate at really specific frequencies.

Using those frequencies, they were able to tell which atoms

were bound to each other and found evidence of

carbon bound to nitrogen, oxygen, and probably phosphorous.

Which points directly towards life.

The more research we can do on these rocks the better,

but these fossils are looking pretty much like

the oldest evidence of life we've ever found… so far.

Now, while a bunch of scientists search for the oldest life on Earth,

others are are focusing on keeping modern-day organisms alive.

Researchers at Caltech have figured out a way to speed up

a chemical process in the ocean that normally takes thousands of years.

And this reaction could help us combat ocean acidification.

The amount of carbon dioxide gas in our atmosphere is steadily climbing,

and it's one of the big players responsible for climate change.

But the biggest concentration of CO2 isn't in the air around us.

It's in the ocean.

CO2 is soluble which means it easily dissolves in water.

And the amount of gas in the air directly impacts how much gets into the water.

Once it's in the ocean, carbon dioxide reacts with water molecules

to form carbonic acid, which breaks up into carbonate ions and hydrogen ions.

And here's where a complex chemical balancing act comes in.

See, carbonate and hydrogen ions can combine to make bicarbonate,

which is much less acidic.

So it can neutralize the dangerous concentration of acid in the water.

But bicarbonate isn't super stable either,

so it'll keep splitting back up into carbonate and hydrogen.

We call this the bicarbonate buffer

something that helps moderate pH levels.

The exact same process is happening in your blood,

and keeps your body working properly.

Now, as the amount of atmospheric CO2 increases,

and more gas dissolves in the ocean,

the bicarbonate buffer starts to wobble.

Which is a huge problem for organisms

that rely on the chemical balance to survive.

But, according to this new research,

there might be a solution scientists have been overlooking.

On the bottom of the ocean floor, there's a graveyard

full of the calcium carbonate skeletons of billions of dead sea creatures,

like corals or plankton.

Over thousands of years, these skeletons dissolve,

releasing their carbonate back into the ocean

and adding to the bicarbonate buffer.

But right now, with so much ocean acidification,

the natural reaction rates are way too slow to help neutralize all this extra acid.

In our bodies, these kinds of reactions can't and don't

take thousands of years to happen, because we have an enzyme

called carbonic anhydrase that catalyzes that reaction.

So the researchers at Caltech thought,

hey, maybe we can use this enzyme to kickstart some chemistry

on the bottom of the ocean floor too.

And after running some experiments in the lab,

they found that it can make the slow part

of the calcium carbonate dissolving reaction around 500 times faster.

So it's not a magic bullet to fix ocean acidification,

but this research could be the first step in making some antacids for the ocean.

By boosting the bicarbonate buffer,

we can combat one of the biggest effects of climate change.

Continue the Story: Emily Maxfield - Duration: 3:16.

So I took concurrent college courses at the high school I went to near Seattle and I was

like, "oh, why not apply, I already have 3 credits that are automatically gonna transfer."

But even at that point it still wasn't my top choice.

I don't think it really was until I got here and then I realized this is where I'm supposed to be.

I feel like a lot of people think like they have their heart set on a school since birth

practically and that's where they're gonna end up, but that wasn't the case for me.

So I think because of that I was a little hesitant.

Kinda like "is this actually gonna be the right fit?

I barely know anything about it."

I just kind of applied just because I had the credits.

A lot of people as I was applying, and even like when I was here for the beginning

of the semester as a new freshmen, people always talked about the community, and I was a little

bit like "yeah, yeah, they really want me to go here so that's why they're saying that."

But it started in Week One with all those events that happen that whole week—there's

like a ton of them, there has to be probably close to like 10 or 12 different events that happen.

When my parents left, they dropped me off, they told me that I had to at least go to five of them.

I'm the kind of person who probably would've just—I would've gone to some, but I also

would've rather stayed in my room and not had to talk to people and put myself out there.

But I was determined to prove them wrong, so I went to five of them.

At some of those events is where I met some of my best friends, now, that I probably wouldn't

have met if I wouldn't have gone to those.

Following that, I joined Freshmen Class Council.

It forced me to get out there and plan events and be a part of events, and really invest

in the community with a team of people that I don't normally interact with.

I feel like in high school the freshmen don't talk to the seniors and there's not like a

connection between the grades.

That was something that I hadn't really expected to be different coming to college—I thought

that was just gonna like stay the same, but that's not the case at all.

I feel like some of the most genuine, kindest people I know are not in my class, and I've

really enjoyed getting to know those people.

That also really helps make the transition easier because they've done everything before

so they have a lot of help to offer.

I have gained a lot of self confidence and independence.

In high school I was a lot quieter and didn't really put myself out there, but nobody knew

that about me so I was able to start over here and join Freshmen Class Council, and

go to more events, and be a part of more things that I probably wouldn't have done in high school.

But because I was on my own I was kind of forced to do those things by myself.

I know that transition was a hard transition for me and I was homesick for most of the

first semester, but, coming back, even after Christmas, I was really excited to get back

and felt...

I even felt like more connected here at NNU than I had felt at home

and that really kinda helped solidify even then, even a semester in,

that this really was where I was supposed to be.

New Nintendo 2DS XL Black & Turquoise + 3 Games | UNBOXING | Game Vlog #5 - Duration: 8:37.

Hello game folks!

This is a quick game vlog number five.

In this vlog we will unbox a New Nintendo 2DS XL.

Why did we buy a New Nintendo 2DS XL?

Since I recently bought a New Nintendo 3DS XL Monster Hunter edition I wanted something

for my wife to be able to play Pokemons and other cool Nintendo games.

We did not want to buy another 3DS because the 3D display is not something we need on

a portable game console.

So the New Nintendo 2DS XL was a clear choice due to its same performance specifications

as 3DS and it also comes with an AC adapter!

Enough of talking and enjoy this quick unboxing of New Nintendo 2DS XL.

Anyway thanks for watching and don't forget to give this video a like, write a comment

down below and eventually subscribe to this channel.

See you again next time!

You still think you're the only monster on the team?

So, we disappear?

Thor didn't say where he was going for answers?

Sometimes my teammates don't tell me things.

I was kind of hoping Thor would be the exception.

Yeah, give him time.

We don't know what the Maximoff kid showed him.

"Earth's mightiest heroes."

Pulled us apart like cotton candy.

Seems like you walked away all right.

Is that a problem?

I don't trust a guy without a dark side.

Call me old-fashioned.

Well, let's just say you haven't seen it yet.

You know Ultron is trying to tear us apart, right?

Well, I guess you'd know.

Whether you'd tell us is a bit of a question.

Banner and I were doing research.

- That would affect the team. - That would end the team!

Isn't that the mission?

Isn't that the "Why We Fight"?

So we can end the fight. So we get to go home!

Every time someone tries to win a war before it starts,

innocent people die.

Every time.

I'm sorry. Mr. Stark...

Clint said you wouldn't mind,

but our tractor doesn't seem to want to start at all.

- I thought maybe you might... - Yeah, I'll give her a kick.

Don't take from my pile.

(DOOR OPENS)

Hello, Deere.

Tell me everything.

What ails you?

FURY: Do me a favour.

Try not to bring it to life.

Why, Ms. Barton, you little minx.

I get it. Maria Hill called you, right?

Was she ever not working for you?

Artificial intelligence.

You never even hesitated.

Look, it's been a really long day,

like Eugene O'Neill long,

so how's about we skip to the part where you're useful.

Look me in the eye and tell me

you're going to shut him down.

You're not the director of me.

I'm not the director of anybody.

I'm just an old man

who cares very much about you.

And I'm the man who killed the Avengers.

I saw it.

I didn't tell the team. How could I?

I saw them all dead, Nick. I felt it.

The whole world, too.

Because of me.

I wasn't ready.

I didn't do all I could.

Maximoff girl, she's working you, Stark.

- Playing on your fear. - I wasn't tricked, I was shown.

Wasn't a nightmare, it was my legacy.

The end of the path I started us on.

You come up with some pretty impressive inventions, Tony.

War isn't one of them.

I watched my friends die.

You'd think that'd be as bad as it gets, right?

(SCOFFS)

Nope.

- It wasn't the worst part. - The worst part

is that you didn't.

Icon Speedpaint + Bad Voice Over - Duration: 2:58.

Hey, hi, hello, It's me, Astraltoon. I have a voice. I don't like it, but I'm using it anyway... (bad idea kiddo)

So I don't know if anyone actually noticed when I haven't posted a video in over two months.

That's because my computer hecking died

It's started crashing every once in a while,

Actually, the first time it crashed caused me to lose five hours of work on a comic page...

So make sure you save so that doesn't happen to you, because I'm an idiot and don't save as often as I should.

So it started crashing more frequently until one day it started crashing over and over again,

and I couldn't even get on it and do anything before it would crash.

So I ended up having a dead computer for two months until my mom bought herself

a new computer and gave me her old one to use until I can buy my own (I have 0 money)

So that's what I'm using right now, and I'm getting back in the feel for digital art,

I had gotten used to drawing with just a pencil and I think it actually helped me improve how I draw.

Digital art is kind of hard, it's like slide-y and weird

The icon you're watching me draw right now, I had drawn a whole other one before

but I didn't really like it, and I thought it looked weird,

so I kiiiiiinda justdrewawholenewone

And I like this one better, but I've drawn things since that I like more

I might just end up making a new one or changing it to something else in a week or two

I'll be doing more speedpaints of stuff like Steven Universe and other cartoons and things I like

and a looot of Gloomverse probably (i lov gloomverse can u tell)

but I've also got some original characters from some comics I've been working on that I'll be drawing (occasionally, bc I abandon my ocs a lot lmao)

and I'm also planning on doing some illustrations without specific characters in them,

so watch out for that if I actually have motivation to do it

made more social media accounts and stuff, sooooo

I've got a Twitter and an Instagram

I don't know how to use those things but like,,, I got em

So if you want to follow me there you can

and if you really like my stuff and are able to, I have a Patreon and a Ko-Fi now (give me money pls i have 0)

(I said this really weird im sorry) And I'd really appreciate it if you supported me, but if you don't want to or can't that's okay too

I also have a Redbubble, but it's empty,, I need to actually draw things for it first

and I need to set up commission, so if anyone's interested in that they actually can

Well, I think I've talked enough for one video (u talked for like less than 3 minutes u shit)

I don't know if I'll do voice over again (probably not this was horrible), but if I do then talk to you next time

If I don't you'll just have to watch me draw with music in the background

iiiiiiiii mean if you want,,,,,,,,

If you don't even wanna watch me draw, I mean whyareyouhere but okay.

uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh,,,,,,,,,,

Hey, look I have an outro picture thingy now!!!
