What Personal Style and Style Coaching is to Me - Duration: 4:59.
Hi! Thanks for taking an interest in what I'm about to share with you. You know I
can't believe I get to do what I do for a living and absolutely love it, the
good and the bad. It definitely wasn't an easy journey to
get to where I am now and it wasn't easy discovering what I would do day in and
day out for free if I didn't need to think about paying the bills. Luckily
this helps pay the bills for me. What personal style and style coaching
is for me, personally. When I'm dressed in my personal style, I feel an awesome sense
of freedom and I feel amazing and I told myself that there's nothing wrong with
that. I feel like the real me. I no longer feel like I'm trying to be
someone else or trying to be how I "should" look, as determined by other
people. I don't judge myself and it doesn't matter how others might judge me.
I no longer feel lost in the noise of this ever-changing and demanding city.
There isn't anything for me to fix about myself. I get to experience everything
and everyone around me is beautiful. I have all the energy I need inside me to
do what I need to do and to be who I need to be in any situation. When I speak,
people hear me people appreciate and value my presence and what I have to say.
I don't walk around feeling unnoticed nor invisible anymore and even if I was
unnoticed I don't let that bother me. Dressing in my personal style
demonstrates that I respect myself and I love myself and that's important to me
and now it's essential for my well-being. I love to make myself useful.
I've had various jobs in the past 12 odd years of my working life and I always wanted to be
helpful and of service to others so that their needs are met and my team achieves
what they had set out to do. I always felt happy when the task is
accomplished and when we hit a target... and when I could learn something apply
it and create something that had never existed before.
I never felt that I worked for money. (not because I was richer anything.)
Work was always an avenue to keep me from boredom and of course it's nice to
receive your regular pay cheque and I'd love to spend mine no chocolate. (chuckles)
Now, as a Style Coach, I get to use my problem-solving skills and my creativity
to transform the wardrobes in homes for ladies to discover and live their
personal style. At the end of it, her wardrobe becomes his place filled with
possibility instead of a place of dullness and confusion and sometimes
even dread. I also get to apply my talents when I take the ladies shopping
for new and fantastic outfits. Being a part of that process? it realises my
need to contribute to the joy and fulfilling lives of ladies especially in
Melbourne. As a result? when she's happy because I helped her I'm personally
rewarded we've way more than just the money she paid me. I also get to share my
excitement and appreciation for the beauty and art of fashion with her, even
though she may not get it sometimes. I take ladies on this journey to create
wearable and powerful reminders of her authentic self where she looks in the
mirror. She's also reminded of her best self.
She's transported to this positive place, a place that's so very personal and only
she can explain what it means to a place where her opinion of her beautiful self
matters and I'm grateful she gave me the opportunity to serve her and guide her there.

I think that if you're interested in you know beauty skincare stuff like that but
you're on a very strict budget or maybe you're just cutting down or whatever I
think you'd really enjoy my channel I also like show like products that are a
couple seasons old like some of these lipsticks are almost two years old but
it's how you can reuse them for the new season anyway so yeah that is what my
channel is all about is you don't need to go out and buy the brand new lipstick
shade because guess what dark shades berries Browns are always gonna be in
fashion in fall and winter time it's just that's just the way it is so yeah
okay let's see where do you see yourself and YouTube in your YouTube channel in
five years I see myself still at my current job I just got a promotion so
I'm pretty excited about that gonna be a trainer for three programs so there's a
program that I work on myself and then there's two other programs but I'll be
training for all three so pretty excited but nervous because I need to learn
those other two programs and then for my youtube channel
I would like to you know maybe be almost at the time of being able to do this as
a full-time job I do love upload a video every single
day of the week so I think it'd be cool if that paid off and I could in five six
years or whatever do what I love doing talking about makeup and skincare but
very very very budget-friendly so yeah I'm let's see what just started you just
start making videos kind of like what I said before I love what watching makeup
videos I love watching any kind of content like that but it's kind of hard
to watch videos and they're like on the newest palette which I totally
understand I love watching them even though I don't buy them it's kind of
hard to watch you know and be like oh I'll never be able to get that but it's
kind of cool because I just take that new power that new look of that new
trend and I kind of twist it so a little bit what I already own what palette do I
have what similar colors how can I recreate this using drugstore products
so yeah that's what inspired me to do it and to share it let's see what are

I love obviously like talk to each other star Kristen Dominique what does your
username mean my username budget glam babe means you know it's you can live a
budget life but still be glam I mean it's it's all about that taking you know
dollar lipsticks and showing that they are still relevant you can take last
season's and still be able to use them so my name is just exactly what it is

YouTube best thing about YouTube is being able to share my ideas my content
showing that you don't need to go out and spend a lot of money to get a

a lot of heat saying only have like 125 subscribers so that's kind of nice I
just recently had a gentleman say that I need to be more covered up in my videos
I'm a big girl and you know if my wobbly are always bothering you then you
probably shouldn't be watching me you should be watching somebody that that
doesn't bother you but yeah it doesn't bother me I not like my buddy for a
really really long time but I've decided I'm you know I'm okay with it you know
it is what it is and you know as long as you are as healthy as you can be
I don't care you know so if you don't like watching me because I'm wearing a
tank top and my fat arm show or whatever then go
ahead there's lots of awesome people out there I can't guarantee you'll be able
to find someone that you do like watching okay let's see what are you oh
my goodness guys what are your goals when it comes to youtube my goals when
it comes to YouTube is to obviously build a great channel for lots of people
to watch to have great content for viewers to show them that they can get
you know great things whether it's free samples or sampling services or you know
going to your local Walmart or Big Lots of finding in clearance stuff so yeah
that is what that's what I want that's what my goal is for YouTube okay so now
we're going to go to covergirl flame yeah it's kind of worn down but you know
this one is just a gorgeous red or G red so so pretty absolutely love it and then
I have two newts coming up this one is called creme creme
whatever it's absolutely beautiful but gorgeous nude and then this last one is
in caramel kiss and I'll stick it on this one very very like gorgeous
gorgeous shade and then last question is any advice for new youtubers yeah my
advice is that a couple things if you want to start you to really make sure
that you are ready and committed to doing it you need to come up with the
schedule and stick to that schedule people like dependability so you know if
you only want to upload once twice a week go and stick to that if you are
gonna be uploading three or four times a week you need to stick to it I upload
every single day I work a full time job and I do a lot of my filming on weekends
because that's what I have time to do it so stick to it stick to a schedule if
that's what you're decided to do don't change up your content a lot I pretty
much have the same things that I go through day by day I did go I did start
with some cooking shows like twice a week because once again bunch of lamb
I want to show that you can make really good food on a budget but those weren't
getting a lot of you so I just changed you like nails and hair skin care stuff
like that so if you do need to change up your content do it but don't do it all
the time you need to kind of stick to it and you need to be patient you know it's
not gonna explode overnight if you do have a video that goes viral that's
awesome but at the same time like you're gonna want to basically slow and steady
slow and steady built it up and that's what you want you want long-term viewers
you want people are actually enjoying your content and my final advice is
don't get sucked into the sub4sub thing I know it's tempting
because you want to build your channel quickly but it is against YouTube's
guidelines and you know they're not real you know they're not really people that
enjoy your content you want people that are actually to enjoy your content so
don't get stuck to the subscribe and you know the follow back and all that I
think that's a bad trap to get into but anyway guys thanks for sticking around

Hello once again everyone, and welcome back to 'One English Tip in One Minute
for Russian Speakers' where each week I talk about, in some detail, one common
English mistake made by Russian speakers as they try to improve and master their
English...and this is video number 46.
As I'm very fond of saying, good for you for trying to improve your English.
If this happens to be the first video that you watch, I hope you'll go back
and watch the other videos because I think they truly are helpful. With
that said, I'll explain the formula a little bit. I show you a slide, and on
the slide there are two sentences: One is the correct way that a native English
speaker would say it, the other is the wrong way that many Russian speakers
learning English say it, and your job is to decide which one is correct. Read
the sentences, think about your answer, pause the video if you have to and, again,
I will discuss the answer in the slide that follows this first slide.
If you didn't get this answer correct -- as many Russian speakers learning
English won't, because these mistakes come from Russian into English -- or if you
just happened to take a wild guess and you got it right, it means you have to study
this a little bit more. To start you off on that process, again, I've given you
three sentences that you can study from. You should memorize the sentences in
their entirety, you should really drill them into your brain and you should put
into practice what you've learned through writing or speaking or both.

German Language Olympics Asia-Pacific - Duration: 8:24.
77 students of German meet in Bangkok
This is a unique event run by the Goethe-Institut and the Thai Association of German Teachers.
Unique because it is the first German Language Olympics to take place here
for the Asia-Pacific region..
Over the period of a week, the students will put their knowledge of German to the test
German as a Foreign Language is booming. In 2016 there were almost 900,000 learners of German
in the Asia-Pacific region - and the trend is rising.
Of course, it is all about winning Olympic gold
for the best learners of German in the Asia-Pacific region.
The Olympic contestants were nominated by the schools.
Some had to pass the entrance examination of the Goethe-Institut
to get this far.
But the German Olympics is not only about winning
it is also about cross-cultural engagement
with a little help from the German language.

This demands intercultural competence and spontaneity.
Yes. It's great fun.
But right now I'm rather nervous.
I have only 20 minutes left to complete this news-sheet.
Both poetic and unique- the news-sheets reflect the the students' creativity.
German was introduced to Thailand more than 70 years ago.
In comparison to other foreign languages, the number
of students learning German is fairly small.
But we have big events like the German Language Olympics here
and many former students
who go on to work for German companies.
Some go to study in Germany.
Studying is also one of their aims.
The first day of the competition is over.
Now it's time for some relaxation.

It's really all about the active use of the language
and for me, personally, it is extremely motivating for my students.

I have met so many new people
and it was really fascinating

that language, quite simply, connects people.
