all the hacks in this video are tried and tested
Diwali is around the corner and you must be gearing up with cleaning up things at home
so these hacks will help you more to make your kitchen look more neat and clean
for the first hack we need Olive oil
take out little bit of oil on your finger and just rub it on the knife like I'm doing right here
and now cut your onions and this olive oil will make sure that there will be no more tears in your eyes :)
this basically is a pinterest inspired hack and it's tried and tested also
Now lets talk about the hack 2
over the time we can see these cracks on the wooden spatula's
so to avoid these cracks we need coconut oil and this is a cooking coconut oil
and a cotton
take out coconut oil on the cotton and start applying it on the cracks and all over the spoon to prevent it further getting dry out
apply oil in the night and leave it and on next day wash it.
lubricate them,atleast 2-3 times in a month with few drops of mineral oil i.e coconut oil, to prevent the wood to dry out and crack.
so, the base of this vessel is copper and as you can see it it's very dirty
so, to clean it we need vinegar
salt
just take approximately 1/2 cup vinegar and apply it on the copper surface
and than sprinkle the salt on it.
now here as you can see the reaction of the two ingredients, that the spottings on the copper is getting clean
here take a scrubber to speed up the process
when we serve icecreams, we always leave them on the plate or container
and than we keep it in the freezer
by doing so, icecream will never be that soft and it takes a lot of space in the freezer
so, to avoid both the the things. Take a ziplock bag and keep your ice-cream brick inside it and seal it.
now keep it inside your freezer. This will not take lot of space and your ice-cream will be soft as it was in the packing
so this problem is very common in this season, we get these dry rust on knife like anything
so, for this we need a slice of lemon
I have seen it on pinterest, that we can use lemon drinks but I tried it with lemon only
now start rubbing this lemon on the dry rust and you will see in a minute that knife will be clean again
take a paper towel and clean it
now you can see the difference
for that you need to fold the packet from this corner from both the ends and keep on folding it untill you see the chips are start poping out from the top
This is a great hack for people like me, who love to it something while watching T.V and it becomes irritating when we have to go all the down to get chips
in the previous hack I have shown you how we can make a bowl out of chips packet
now lets see how we can seal it back if you don't have such clips also.
just flatten out the chips packet and start folding it in such manner
make a V shape fold from both the sides
just flip it
and than just make 2-3 folds like so
here as you can see we have got these two pocket, just flip the pockets from both the sides
so in this way we can seal packets without any clips
we always cut our salads in advance when we invite our guest and keep it in fridge
by doing so, it leaves water and don't look like it's fresh
so, to avoid it cut your salad, place a paper towel or tissue on the top and than cling wrap it and keep it in fridge
now you can see it will not leave water for at least good 2-3 hours and it will look fresh also.
