- I live in the center of Athens, Kypselh.

I mess around with Hip Hop since the 90's.

When I was 12 years old I randomly found a cassette,

that had mainly Hip Hop from other countries and a few greek.

That's what grabed my attention and I slowly started reaching for more stuff like that

my favorite thing about Hip Hop is how straight the lyrics are and the influence that transfers to the listeners.

Over the years, around the late 90's

I decided that I want to make rap over some beats.

At the beginning the production was very difficult

because we didn't have the hardware and we didn't know how to create a beat

So we rap on downloaded beats.

So we used to plug a disk on to the pick up, a cassette in the deck

we hit the rec button and we were recording one take.

This is how my first tracks were made.

Slowly, the need to create our own productions and beats was getting bigger

round 2003 I bought my first PC

and I install two softwares, Cool Edit and Reason and I start making my first own amateur beats.

Until now I have used different types of equipment.

That's because I was creating my productions to different studios,

especially to studios that use analogic sound.

The last few years I build my own studio

that I use specifically equipment so every project that I do has a specifically sound.

In my opinion the equipment for a studio is the most important thing

because the reason that someone wants to go to a studio

is the professional equipment that is going to give a character to your sound.

There is no reason of going to a studio with a good sound card and a digital console

you can do it easily from your home with the same results.

I try to make my sound as analog as possible by using a lot of hardware.

That doesn't means that I don't use digital sources

because now a days

you have to work some of it digitally by using a software in your pc that you have downloaded.

You have to find a way so you can take the best,

both from digital and analog sound.

Mixing is very important for your final result

that the listener is going to get.

Because the sound recorder should mix not only with the right technics but also has to adopt the artists style.

Also he has to ad his own emotion and soul into the track.

That's a good mix.

♪ [Brak - Έχω μια μάσκα] ♪

To make a leaving by beatmaking in Greece is very difficult.

You can make some money if you make moves abroad

because the market is bigger and people give more respect to the producer.

Beatmaking for me is a Hobby

but also my job because I make beats for other artists

so I take it more seriously.

My job is mainly sound recorder- sound engineer

because I have studied on it and the last few years I make a leaving from it.

Listening to music is very important

music is art, music makes you an open minder person

Especially when you are a producer because you have to take influences from different genres.

Here comes the part of digging, very important for a producer too

while searching so deep the music

you can learn about different countries, cultures and lifestyles

that's very creative and completes you.

CHOCOLATE TOFFEE NUT CRACKER - For want of another Name - Duration: 5:41.

Hi and a weekend welcome to Steve's kitchen we're going to have some fun in the

kitchen today. There is a recipe that's trending here in Australia and if you

haven't seen it yet you must have been living under Ayers rock. Just come down

here and have a look at this, we've got toffee, saltine crackers,

chocolate, hazelnuts on the top and I can really see why this has been trending

because it's absolutely delicious. There's a combination of Dime bar toffee

chocolate I mean everything is good about this. Now there is a cracker here

in Australia, it's a saltine cracker called Salada, when I went to my local

store it was completely out of stock, so I guess everybody is buying them. I had

to shop around to get a box, they are a saltine cracker you can probably get a

similar sort of thing in every country in the world. Come on join me, let's get

on and make this chocolate toffee nut cracker and come up with a better name

for it for me, let's go. A quick scoot through the ingredients,

we've got our saltine crackers of course, one cup of salted butter, a packed cup of

soft brown sugar, I've also got a cup of nuts here, I'm using hazelnuts you could

use any nuts that you like, we're going to be using a little bit of vanilla and

a little bit of salt and of course about half a pound or call it 250 grams of

your favorite chocolate. Now pop your butter and your compacted brown sugar

into a saucepan, now we're just going to melt the butter and the sugar in the pan.

Now when that comes to a boil like that we're going to let this simmer for about

three to four minutes just to let the sugars caramelize, just keep an eye on it

make sure it doesn't boil over. Now whilst that simmers, I've got a baking

tray here I've just lined it with a little bit of baking paper and we're

just going to take our Salada crackers and luckily for me they pretty much fit

perfectly. Now this tray is about ten inches by 18

if you've got a slightly different tray you can always break up the crackers to

fit, back over at the stove you can see the caramel has started to form. Now it's

been just over three minutes so I'm going to turn the heat off now, I'm going

to add in a little pinch of salt and about half a teaspoon of vanilla extract.

Just give that a little mix through, Now I'm going to take that beautiful

toffee and I'm going to pour it over the top of my salada's, we've got to do this

while it's nice and hot. Now I have preheated the oven to 175 degrees Celsius

thats 350 Fahrenheit, I'm just going to push the caramel over the corners. We'll pop the

whole tray now into the oven for about 15 minutes to let the toffee start to

set, whilst I've got that oven on I'm also going to take my hazelnuts, I'm going to

pop them onto another tray and I'm just going to roast those and get a nice nutty

Brown to them. Now keep an eye on the toffee while it's in the oven, I've just

had a little peek we're about 13 minutes now and I think it's probably done

enough you don't want it to go too black. The hazelnuts as well are looking

beautiful and toasted. When I bring that out you can see it's been about 14

minutes now, we've got this beautiful bubbling going on on top, straightaway

we're going to take our blocks of chocolate and I'm just going to evenly

pop them over the top of our caramel. Now be patient we're just gonna let the heat

of the caramel melt our chocolate down and then I'll use a crank handle spatula

just to level it over, it'll take two or three minutes at the most. In the

meantime I'm going to take the hazelnuts out and let them cool down as well. Now

you can see after just a minute or so the chocolate has started to melt, so

what I'm going to do I'm just going to use a crank handled spatula to coat all

the toffee over with some beautiful chocolate. Now I could use these whole

hazelnuts and it's a shame in a way to break them up but I am going to break them,

just pop them onto my chopping board and then I'm just going to use a knife to

cut these up, I don't want the hazelnut pieces to be too small I want them to be

fairly coarse. Now the smell coming off of these hazelnuts, if you ever had a

chocolate bar in Germany called Hanuta that's what I'm getting at the moment

from that smell. Now if you like salted caramel or salted chocolate take some

lovely flaked salt and we're just going to sprinkle it

over the top of our chocolate while it's still soft and then we're going to take

our hazelnuts and then we're just going to sprinkle them over the top of the

chocolate. Now you have to be patient and let this completely cool down, you could

pop it in the fridge to speed it up and come back and join me in a second. It's

set up nice and firm, are you ready to get it out, have you come up with a name

for it yet? Now I left these little extra bits here oh look at that, out in one

piece, how beautiful is that. Now it's not a toffee cracker for no reason I've got

my little cleaver here and I think we'll just break this up, how beautiful is that.

So chocolate toffee nut cracker it is. Here goes I'm going to give this a try, I

want to hear your comments, I want some photographs so get them across on social

media - @StevesKitchen come on I'm absolutely dying to taste this. Oh well I

can tell why this is so popular, this is absolutely delicious do you like Daim

bars it's got that Daim bar, it's got that nut in there, you have to try it, let

me know what you think and we will see you for another episode of Steve's

kitchen very shortly, take care

How To Extract Hyperlinks From Word or Website - Duration: 6:33.

In this video we will see how to highlight, copy, and extract hyperlinks from a word document

or from a website.

precisely, we will see first how to highlight all the hyperlinks in word, and then how to

remove the yellow-colored highlights.

then, we will see how to easily copy all the hyperlinks using a chrome extension called

linkclump.

and finally, we will also see a macro that we can use in word to extract all the hyperlinks

into a separate word document.

the last one is my favourite. because recently i published my new ebook, "frugal blogging",

which is by the way, selling for free NOW on Amazon; download it if you haven't already

before the prices go up...you can get the links from the description below...

So yea, in the book i have mentioned 400+ hyperlinks and resources, but there was no

way i could get them sorted and listed all in one single excel workbook or a word document.

if not for nothing, i can use that list as a backup or a reference for later use.

so let's now see how to do that.

................ within the word document where you want to

find the hyperlinks, hit on ctrl F to bring the Find and replace window, click on more,

click the format button dropdown, select font and under the font tab, click the dropdown

for Underline style and select this single line.

click ok. you will see the format as "underline" here under the "find what" field.

so, now under "find in", select 'main document' and in the 'reading highlight' dropdown, select

"highlight all".

let's close this window and you can see that all our hyperlinks are now highlighted.

so that was about how to highlight all the hyperlinks in word document.

now let's see how to remove those highlights. this is pretty straight forward and really

simple.

in the same find and replace window, select the reading highlight dropdown button and

choose clear highlighting. also remember to click the 'no formatting' button so you can

bring the find and replace command back to normal.

so that was about how to remove the highlights in word document.

now let's see how to copy these hyperlinks using a chrome extension.

to do this, you have to install the linkclump extension from the google web store.

links are provided in the description below.

since linkclump can work from within a browser only, we now have to open our word document

as a html file.

so let's go ahead and save the word document as a html file.

after opening it, right click on the linkclump chrome extension and select "options".

Under the 'Actions' section, click on Add Action.

What we will do now is to temporarily add an action within this extension and then delete

it once our task is complete.

Select the config you want to have, choose 'copied to clipboard' under the actions section

and click save.

Important note: since we will be using a local file opened in a browser, we need

to provide linkclump, access to this local file. to do this go to chrome://extensions

URL, and check the box that says "Allow access to file URLs" for the linkclump extension.

Now start selecting the hyperlinks.

A count is shown at the bottom corner of the selecting rectangle, which tells us how many

hyperlinks have been copied to clipboard.

Once done, you can paste them to any destination you want.

I will paste them to another word document.

After pasting you might have observed that hyperlinks are simply pasted as a plain-text

but not as real clickable hyperlinks.

there is a simple fix to this.

but before that let's also see the "macro" method and then come back to fixing these hyperlinks.

Go to this website and get this macro.

Within word, hit Alt + F11 keys or click on File > options > Customize ribbon and select

the "Developer" checkbox to show the developer tab group.

This setting is for Office 2010 and it will be different based on which version of office

you use.

Now goto the developer tab, click on "Visual basic".

Right click on the Project, select Insert and Module.

Paste the vb code that you copied earlier.

Hit F5 or click on this green play icon to run the macro.

You can see that the macro picks all the hyperlinks from my book and creates a new document and

pastes all the hyperlinks onto that.

This is beautiful.

However, we aren't done yet.

There are some empty pages, and we don't know how many hyperlinks got copied and pasted

here, above all, as we saw earlier, none of them are clickable hyperlinks.

Let's now fix that.

Copy all the hyperlinks by selecting them all.

Open a new spreadsheet.

Paste them there.

You can see there are so many blanks in between.

Let's remove them.

Select the column, hit F5 on keyboard, Click on "Special", select "Blanks", and click ok.

Click on Delete.

You can now see that there are 424 hyperlinks.

Again we have a problem, there could be duplicate links in these, so let's find duplicates and

remove so we just have unique ones.

Select the column again, goto Data tab and click on "Remove duplicates".

Just hit ok.

Now we have got 370 unique hyperlinks - this is looking good now!

Now finally let's make them all clickable hyperlinks.

On another column, type this formula: =hyperlink(A1) drag this formula to all the other cells too.

Copy this column and paste them back into the word document from were copied the links

to replace them.

make sure to use "Link and source formatting" or it will be pasted as a table by default.

That's it.

Hope you learned something out of this video.

If yes, please smash the like and subscribe buttons, if you haven't already, and remember

to Stay Techie!

I will see you again in the next video and as always, thanks for watching!
