*In Dutch*: Good morning. Good morning, and welcome to a sunny England. How lovely is
this. So in the kitchen breakfast is being prepared. Hello there. - Morning.
And today we're going to Warwick Castle which I'm really excited for. And
because I purchased these British chocolates yesterday, we can get a free
ticket probably if that's gonna be cheaper than actually getting it online.
Because look. There's a free voucher. How cool is that? It's time for breakfast.
And guess what? We're outside although you can probably tell by the wall and
the fact that it's sunny.
So welcome to little place. They have a ton of sluices. I forget the
actual name of it.
That was Atton Locks for you. With the sluices.
And I were on our way to a castle.
We entered the port of Warwick Castle. Castle. I'm trying to sound all British.
Castle. Oh, this is so cool. Look at these stones. They are like old and awesome. I'm so excited.
We are now walking around near the Warwick Castle as you can see in the
background. Looks so cool. Oh, if someone is naughty then they probably have to go up
here.
Get lost. Okay then. We will. We're gonna enter a horrible history maze
right now.
"Where are we going?" is the question.
Let's peek. Oh wow, what is that? That's so cool. I wanna go there.
There's something here. - What? Did you find something? - Yes, a witch broom.
- A witch broom? - Yes.
There was the witch. - Really?
I'm definitely a kid here.
It's on the photo setting, right?
No, I'm filming. - What?
You're now being filmed. - Oh, OK.
And yeah.
We're about to view the inside of the castle which I'm pretty excited see. They
have decorated the castle like how it was back in the day. That's pretty cool,
so let's enter and enjoy.
So Jamie's gonna check her outfit real quick in this little mirror. How does it
look? Good? - It's okay. - Let's fix this a little bit. OK, cool.
What I didn't realize is that even a guest bedroom back in the day in a big castle has, or
castle, has a walk-in closet. How cool is that? I really like that. I have heard from Zoella, and...
Well, especially Zoella actually, that these things are really good, and I've never
tried it before, so Jamie and I are gonna try it for the first time, and I wanted
to film it. So they look like little... - Chocolate - What is it called? - I'm gonna start trying.
Orange snips. Whatever that word is.
They taste pretty good.
Yes, tastes good. It reminds me of those Dutch treats,
but that has the gooey stuff on the inside. - Yes.
I like this better.
How do you like that chips?
I like it a lot. And thank you to this brand , 'cause it allowed us to have one free ticket. Yum.
We decided to choose the less busy route, and check out the mill.
This is so flippin' beautiful.
This is so flippin' cool, and this tree... Like how old would this tree be? It's so big.
I'm gonna hug it. It's huge! Good guy.
Okay, let's go back onto the track.
I should actually roll down.
And we're down the hill. Okay, now let's catch up. So we're enjoying the sun right now, and
soon we'll actually watch one of the biggest slingshot in the world.
So, yeah, that's what we're waiting for. It's gonna happen right up there, so we have front-row seats.
Ducky!
So, guess what guys? We're actually laying, sunbathing, enjoying the sun. Like, this is flippin' lovely. The sun
is actually quite bright, and this is not good for my lens.
This is nice. Really, really nice.
People are inside of those circles, trying to get it to move down.
That guy was cheering on the public just a few minutes ago.
Eight oak trees in it's making.
18 meters tall. Weighs 22 tons. Ladies and gentlemen: one of the biggest, most
powerful siege engines in the world: the Warwick Castle trébuchet.
Yeah!
3... 2... 1... Lose!
And we launch. There she goes. Throwing the rock over 150 miles an hour.
Incredible! The Warwick Castle trébuchet.
I just met a knight, so yes you can be
jealous. It was awesome. Right now we're gonna go up this wall.
I'm so excited. Look at this. Holy cow. They used to be
tiny back in the day. I just barely fit.
These stairs went up on the left side instead of the right side because back in the day when you had to defend your castle...
Castle... geez I'm getting all the British slang or British accent in my brain.
Anywho, back in the day when they fought, they had to defend
themselves, and if there was a right-handed bow and arrow person... That's also not
a proper name... You would not be able to shoot up as easily when those stairs was
on the left side. Okay... Ton of stairs.
We have left Warwick's castle, and now we're heading to the car to get
some food, some drinks, and enjoy the good weather, again. Goodness we're so lucky.
Right now we're at Lemmington's Spa, and I keep having to ask people what
these places are called because I have a memory of a fish.
We're gonna go ahead and go into a cute looking store I guess. Fable.
We're at the Jephson gardens and Mill gardens, and there are flowers, statues... Tons of good stuff to look at.
