TIME - Enduro Short Film - Duration: 5:33.

Time.

The only thing in the world that you can't change.

Years are years,

weeks are weeks, days are days and hours are hours.

All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.

Most of us spend our time going from one place to another

or working for someone else's dreams.

or switching through radio stations in the traffic jam

or walking around at shopping malls and grocery stores

or watching movies on the couch

or playing videogames.

looking to our phones and social media.

But there is this small group of people in the world that spend it a little differently than the others.

And they are the dirtbike riders.

They go to work just like everyone else

but after that they ride, they fix, they wash, they practice

and they enjoy doing it.

Your time in this world is limited so make sure you use it wisely.

And remember that the time you enjoy wasting

it's definitely not wasted time.

thank you for watching I did have to do a little traditional video this time hit

the like button if you liked it and subscribe if you haven't already and

we'll see you next week thank you

MCA Professional Business Marketing Website - Never Did This Until Now! - Duration: 20:05.

MCA Professional Business Marketing Website yo yo yo what's going on guys mark Bale here and I want to drop this video for

all of you guys who have previously purchased MCA website for me and those

of you who are thinking about it and those of you who even know about the

websites that I provide alright as you see the title of this video I'm actually

about to reveal something to you guys that I've never revealed before okay

when it comes to providing an MCA website to Motor Club of America

representatives actually give this a lot of thought and you know I want to give

you guys this opportunity to indulge and what I'm about to present to you alright

so if you are listening or watching and you are in Motor Club of America right

or you were promoting Motor Club of America I think you might want to give

this some thought and even go forth alright because what this will do for

you this will allow you to expand a skill set

alright where you can you know potentially engaged in other ventures at

least when it comes to building a website alright so let's go ahead and

hop into it and i'ma show you guys exactly what I'm

referring to alright so what I have going on is this

alright I've come to the conclusion right that I want to give you guys more

access to your Motor Club of America websites professional business websites

alright so here's how this works okay of course version 1 you got version

2 alright option 1 alright option 2 an option 3 option one

option two option 3 alright so option one

is primarily just you know as normal where you're purchasing a business

website for myself I'll build it I'll host it for you and once your website is

complete out then email you your link where you're able to just go out and

start promoting alright that's been the way I've been doing it for quite some

time now all right so what I want to include now is I want to give you more

access to either website by allowing you to have it placed on your own domain

okay the difference is between option one and option two is you'll be

MCA Professional Business Marketing Website responsible for taking care of your hosting every month or every three

months six months nine months twelve months however you decide to pay for it

all right and now of course in the description box

recommend the hosting company that I've primarily used and I've been using them

since 2011 okay so option two as you see the original price has been $60 for a

while all right I'll host it build it etc et-cetera send

you your link and you can structure motive now option two where you can

place it on your own domain all right which gives you more flexibility to

where you can you know take care of your own hosting you don't have to worry

about having a extension on your domain name if you happen to purchase your own

domain name and I'll show you where you can get that as well

it'll be just primarily whatever your domain name is you have to worry about

redirecting or forwarding or any of that okay and that's a and all of this is one

time at one time $80 alright so that's the step up from the

$60 website all right where I host it and you can host it on option 2 now

option 3 all right this gives you full complete access all right and everything

I'm talking about goes for version 2 alright as well alright so

option three gives you full access for ownership of whichever website you

decide to purchase if you decide to purchase version one you have full

ownership if you decide to purchase version 2 you have full ownership even

if you decide to purchase both of them at the same time all right

you will have full ownership for life it'll be your website alright and here's

how that works of course it'll be a one-time 160 dollars all right that

MCA Professional Business Marketing Website you a full ownership like there's no other way to explain for ownership to

Motor Club of America membership sales you got your money back and everybody

can make two sales three sales for sales five sales etc alright so you will have

four ownership and what that means and I'm gonna go ahead and jump into this

real quick what you can do as you see here click on a product to see more

information alright you can click here just to read

more details but this gives you the ability to go in and I'm gonna make I'm

gonna create or I have created tutorial videos showing you how to alter anything

alright within the website version 1 and version 2 okay so this gives you the

ability to go in and change the color scheme if you like change your phone

number whenever you want to change your email whenever you want to this way you

don't have to reach out to me and wait you know a few hours or a few seconds or

a few minutes however you know it may take me to update your email or phone

number alright so this gives you full access to all of that

it will be yours I will place it on your hosting and I look and I have created

some tutorials videos showing you how to go in and alter any and everything

pertaining to the website alright like I said it's a one-time one hundred and

sixty dollars is yours you can even take the full website and change it into

something else completely different alright you can changing it to a

completely different company if you want to because it'll be your website however

if you want to use it for Motor Club of America and change

whatever color scheme you want you know you it'll be your website in you and you

are able to do just that okay so this is what I want to do for you

guys alright I know it raises the question why it's just something I I'm

doing for you guys I mean this it's really that simple

alright so let me go ahead and of course on each image you can click on it and

it'll take you to where you can see more details alright and you can read up on

that and also you can see the link that it take you to the sample site and you

can you know take a look around some beside if you like so I'm gonna go ahead

and go through this one this is the this is version one alright of course I'm

gonna show you how to add your social links and all of that good stuff all

right so this is version one alright this is for any of you who hasn't seen

this particular website before all right here's version two okay

all right so like I said if you decide to go with option one alright and I'm

gonna go over this one more time so you know I make sure everything is clear if

you decide to purchase option one alright this is where I host your

website I'll build it and once your site is complete I'll email you your domain

name you can go out and start marketing the mca business okay that's a one-time

$60 all right option - this is where I will place the

site on your hosting alright and this is where and I'll show you guys how to you

know do your hosting and get a domain and all of that good stuff as well so

this the option to gives you the ability to have it on your hosting account

okay all right like a stated you'll be responsible for taking care of the

hosting fee per month and the service that I use is really cheap so not to

MCA Professional Business Marketing Website worry about spending boohoo's and money per month alright and option 3 once

again gives you full ownership all right it will be on your hosting account you

have full access to you know the entire site to do whatever you want to do

within it change whatever colors you want to change add whatever images or

content you want to add you have full ownership to do just that

okay and that's for a one-time one hundred and sixty dollars okay so I'm

gonna go ahead and show you how to go forth and purchase alright so you just

come here on whichever option you decide to go with if you want to choose option

1 2 & 3 of version 1 or version one option 1 version 2 option 2 but it

doesn't matter you can go ahead and and do just that so what I'll do I'll just

click Add to Cart its add it to cart okay alright let's say you want to add

another one is added to your cart so what you do is come here click on carts

this will puff up just go to you can go to view cart or checkout okay as you see

you want to make sure that you select the correct option all right that you

want to purchase if you want to change the quantity you can do that here then

after you change it click update cart all right and it'll update your cart for

you all right you come down here as you see subtotal in total then click proceed

to checkout okay what you do is come here

be sure to enter your name all right I'm just going to place in some dummy text

all right all right

I'm just on placing some dummy ticks here you can insert your 800 number if

you have one and I'll show you where you can get your own 1-800 number as well

alright alright and I'll just type settings I don't know usually people put

all files it doesn't matter but order notes if you have anything you want me

to be aware of or you haven't just a sent a question you know just placing an

order notes be sure to insert your TVC matrix refer link which looks like this

or it may look like this

alright it may be your user name so whichever one it is some people have

numbers after the forward slash and some people have their user name as a

referral code after the forward slash okay alright anyhow long whenever that's

done come here always make sure to make sure your order is correct make sure the

prices are right then come click place order you will then be redirected to

PayPal alright and this is where you insert your information to go forth of

purchase if you don't have a PayPal account don't worry you can always use

your pay your debit card or credit card just slide down a little bit and come

here

all right and this is where you insert your card number all right your address

and phone number zip code email etc and they hit pay now all right

you'll get a receipt to your inbox all right so the email you inserted here you

get a receipt there and I'll send you a follow-up email with further information

all right and of course if you order option three I'll send you a follow-up

email and all you have to do is make sure you watch the video showing you how

to get your hosting and your domain all right if you already have your hosting

and domain just send me your information and I'll load it onto your server all

right now for those of you who already have a Motor Club of America website

whether it's version 1 or version 2 all right if you want to have your website

put on your personal domain you just go here alright and I'll take it off of my

dome not my if you want to know your hosting I'm sorry on your own hosting

I'll take it off on my hosting and then place it on yours alright and that way

you have that control over your website alright and of course if you already

have version one to version two and approaches for ownership here alright

I'll place it on your domain I don't know why I keep saying domain but your

MCA Professional Business Marketing Website hosting and like I stated previously it'll be your website and you have full

ownership of it to change anything to pretty much all to it in any way that

you like okay of course if you have any questions or

concerns feel free to give me a call here alright you can email me here just

go to contact us you can send a question or concern through here or you can send

it to my email here okay and you can call me here all right it's

that simple all right so let me make sure I got my

sure I didn't forget anything I don't believe I did if I did I'll just put it

in the description box okay with that being said if you have any other

questions or concerns feel free to reach out to me and I'll respond ASAP okay if

you already got your mind made up and you want to go forth and purchase go

ahead and take care of that and look out for your receipt to your inbox and look

out for my email okay other than that I'm glad to be a service

to you all I'm glad to be able to help out those of you who don't even know how

to create a website and how about those of you who may know how but just don't

have the time and also allow me to say this here's one of the biggest benefits

about actually getting full ownership to either website alright this way even if

you don't know how to create a website you can now learn through what I've

already set up so I pretty much already done the core work for you you just have

to pretty much just catch on to my tutorial video and take it from there

also a few things you don't learn how things work and you then you know be

able to create your own Motor Club of America website or you'll be able to

create a website for another business you're part of or whatever you want to

create alright so you'll be developing a skill set along the way as well so I

mean you're really getting a lot for your book you're learning a new skill

set you're getting full ownership of the website alright you're able to host it

yourself you don't have to worry about contacting me for updates or anything

alright so it has its perks okay so with that being said I believe

that is all if not please be sure to read the description box too

you know catch up on any information that I did miss or just to you know to

reiterate everything I've said in this video okay so with that being said I'll

catch you guys later share this video like this video thumbs

up this video leave your questions or concerns in the comments box and I'll

catch you guys later alright this is Mark bill and you guys

be good all right please hey real quick guys I forgot to mention this also

whichever version that you purchase especially if you purchase for ownership

but mainly all three options for version winter version - all sales are final

ok so please don't try to be slick in order option 3 and try to ask for a

refund because it will not be granted I don't do business that way and I

wouldn't recommend anybody to try to be dirty like that as well especially when

I try to you know do this to help you all out and you know help those of you

who don't know how to build a website or just don't have the time alright so

don't try to be slick or dirty like that to get you know full ownership and then

turn around and ask for a refund after I placed everything on your hosting

alright because it will not be granted and yeah it just won't be granted

alright so just in everything you do do right by people and that will come back

to you in the long run alright so that's how I operate and it works so you know I

just suggest that you do the same do fair business and your business will

prosper do bad business and you will run into complications it may not look like

it at the time but somewhere along the lines you know everything will come back

around alright so I'm like I said all sales are final

alright all sales are final because I deliver on what I put out here or what I

offer if I say you're gonna get ownership you got full ownership if I

say I'm gonna put it on your hosting is gonna be on your hosting account if I

say I'm gonna put it on my hosting and send you your link that's exactly what

I'm gonna do and that's what I've been doing for each one of my customers okay

so yeah all sales are final and I delivered so let's do good

business and keep it moving and continue building your Motor Club of America

business that being said I think that is it for now and I'll catch you guys later

Star Trek: Q - Duration: 9:44.

Among the many species of the Alpha Beta, Gamma and Delta quadrants, some have evolved

to share certain traits and characteristics possibly due to a common ancestor like the

Progenitors who may have seeded life on a number of worlds during their interstellar

travels. There are other species however which differ

wildly from the two legged humanoids which populate the galaxy, such as the wormhole

aliens, also known as the Celestial Prophets of Bajor, the changelings of the great link

or Species 8472 of fluidic space. And while the many varied and exotic species the galaxy

each have unique skills and abilities, perhaps the most powerful species of them all were

the immortal Q of the Q continuum. From the perspective of humans and other similar

species, they had god like powers, able to manipulate energy, matter, time and space.

Many of the Q believed they were they highest and purest form of life and during one occasion

when a Q was transformed into a human, he claimed to have an IQ of 2005. However there

were some limitations to their powers, as they could be killed, though the death of

a Q was a serious issue with lasting galaxy wide repercussions.

A Q later known as Quinn made it seem as though the Q evolved over eons to become these powerful

beings, yet another Q who was known throughout the federation claimed that the Q have always

existed. Whatever their origins, the New Era as they

called it, saw them reach a golden age, where they explored the universe and shared thoughts

and opinions about every subject imaginable. And while some of them continued to influence

galactic events wherever they deemed appropriate, most became lazy and apathetic, choosing to

simply maintaining the status quo without any changes that might disturb their society.

However things at last started to change when a member of their species broke with normalcy

and rebelled against the system, even growing fond of taking humanoid form and interacting

personally with less advances beings like the humans of the Alpha quadrant.

In the 24th century, as the Federation began to explore further into deep space, this rebel

Q appeared to the crew of the Enterprise, accusing their species of straying too far

from their home system, calling them a dangerous, savage child race, unprepared to deal with

the dangers that awaited them. Captain Jean Luc Picard disagreed with his

assessment and defended humanity claiming that they had made rapid progress and were

no longer the violent and greedy people their history might suggest.

Placing humanity on trial, it was decided that Picard and his crew would be tested,

made to deal with the mystery of farpoint station, where a species possessed a type

of technology that could build objects of great complexity like a space station, seemingly

out of nowhere. When the station came under attack, Picard

was presented with an opportunity to use violence to put an end to the problem, but instead

used his mind to solve the problem, discovering that a sentient being with incredible powers

was being held as a prisoner, and in response its mate was attacking the facility. By ensuring

the release of the creature, the attack stopped and the mystery was solved.

Having passed their test, Q allowed them to continue on their journey exploring the galaxy

but told them the trial was not over and he'd be watching their progress.

The next time they met, Q informed them that humanity was proving to be an interesting

species, and that they seemed to possess and insatiable curiosity, a desire to grow and

explore that the Q could not comprehend. As a result he gifted commander Riker, first

officer aboard the enterprise, the incredible powers of his species, in order to tempt him

into joining the Q continuum. In this way he would serve as a model of human behaviour

which could be studied to bring new ideas into their realm.

However Q proved too arrogant and confident in his ability to convince Riker, agreeing

to stay away from the enterprise if he should fail. Ultimately he was unable to convince

the first officer and so Q was forced to leave them.

The actions of the rebel Q had proven so disruptive, that for a time the others of his kind exiled

him from the continuum. Returning to the crew of the Enterprise, Q

then tried to join them on their voyages, offering to help guide them through the many

dangers and mysteries that awaited. However Picard refused and so Q transported their

vessel 7000 lightyears to see a cube shaped ship from a relentless and merciless species

known as the Borg, travelling in the direction of Earth. The Enterprise only survived the

encounter, when Picard admitted to needing Q's help.

As it so happens, the Borg would eventually travel through time resulting in some of their

drones crash landing in the arctic ice of earth centuries earlier. In 2153, several

of these drones were accidently activate by a group of scientists, allowing one of them

to send a signal to Borg space, which would take 200 years to arrive at its destination.

This message then pointed the way towards Earth and may have been the catalyst, that

prompted the Borg to send the cube encountered by the Enterprise.

This implies that when Q transported Picard and his ship to meet the Borg for the first

time, he did it not only as a game for his own amusement, but also as a warning, to give

humanity time to prepare for the approaching threat.

The rest of the Q continuum grew increasingly upset with Q's actions and so chose to strip

him of his powers, forcing him to live the rest of his life as a mortal in punishment,

and so he chose to take human form, in order to join the Enterprise crew, so they might

protect him from his enemies. Although his integration into the crew was difficult, he

came to care for them in his own way and even offered to sacrifice himself to save them

from harm. The other Q, witnessing his selfless act,

then restored his powers and welcomed him back into the continuum.

In the coming years, Q would return and interact with Federation crew on a number of occasions,

and while his meddling was often negatively received, he helped Picard a number of times,

even acting as a spiritual guide to help him confront his past and understand the consequences

of life choices he'd made. On another occasion, he helped a girl born

in the Federation who was developing Q like powers, explaining that her parents were Q

who lived on Earth and were executed shortly after her birth.

During one occasion, Q visited the Federation Outpost of Deep Space Nine, and there mockingly

challenged Benjamin Sisko to a fight. Yet to his surprise, Sisko did not have the same

aversion to violence as Picard, and proceeded to punch him in the face.

Seven years after commencing the Trial of Humanity, Q once again appeared before Picard,

arranged for another test, this time involving a time travel mystery, which the captain eventually

solved. Q then confessed that the Continuum wanted to see if humans were capable of understanding

more advanced concepts about the nature of the universe. However Q then made it clear,

that while they passed the test, the Q would continue watching Humanity, proclaiming that

"The trial never ends." Several years later, when the crew of the

USS Voyager became stranded in the Delta quadrant, they accidently released a Q from his prison,

prompting the former rebel, now reformed Q to appear, in order to recapture the criminal.

However the Q who is later known as Quinn requested Asylum on Voyager, explaining that

he wanted the freedom to commit suicide, but it will not be allowed.

Captain Janeway then decided to hold a hearing and there Quinn argues that the Q have been

alive for so long, and experienced so much, the continuum was now a place where nothing

ever happened, and where their people were so apathetic they no longer even spoke to

each other. Quinn, who had formerly been one of their

great philosophers, saw that the severe stagnation in their society was a problem and became

inspired by the antics of the rebel Q, who'd challenged authority and created chaos. He

then pointed out the irony, that the renegade was now just like all the others, and was

even trying to stop another free thinker from rebelling as he had.

Throughout the hearing, they learned Quinn was actually an important figure in galactic

history, having influenced a number of important events of the past, including helping Isaac

Newton discover his theories, saving the life of William Riker's ancestor, and was even

involved in starting the hundred year war between the romulans and Vulcans. It was argued

that such an important being could not simply be allowed to end his life and that the repercussion

of allowing it might be drastic for the continuum. However Janeway ultimately sided with Quinn

and the rights of the individual, forcing Q to make him mortal. And while Janeway tried

to convince Quinn to find happiness living out his mortal life, the former Q killed himself

soon after. Although Q had argued against this action,

he could not help but admire Quinn's conviction and became inspired to return to his rebellious

ways. And so when word of Quinn's death reached

the continuum, a great civil war erupted, with Q leading a faction of rebels that wanted

to change society, against the establishment that wanted to keep things as they were.

The war grew viscious and many of their people died, resulting in a number of supernovas

erupting throughout the galaxy. However, with the help of the Voyager crew who became involved

in the war, a peace was at last reached when it was decided the rebel Q would mate with

a female Q, and produced the first child ever born to the continuum.

However Q jr. as he became known, was not quite the saviour they had hoped for, instead

growing to be wild, arrogant and selfish. When Q arranged for the Voyager crew to take

the boy in and teach him human values, his behaviour improved, and these changes along

with the importance of his father, convinced the others to allow the boy back into the continuum.

The Wire: Stringer Bell - It's Business - Duration: 11:14.

"You can't show no weakness."

If the characters on The Wire are the pieces in a game of chess, then Stringer Bell is

the Queen.

Avon Barksdale starts out as the reigning King of the West Baltimore drug trade,

but just as the Queen is the more active and useful chess piece for most of the game,

we quickly sense that the person running the Barksdale empire is Russell "Stringer"

Bell.

And he's the one McNulty desperately wants to take down, as well, for this reason.

Stringer is the spiritual descendant of Michael Corleone and the iconic godfather line

"It's not personal, Sonny. It's strictly business."

He's trying to turn gangster business into legit business.

He catches our attention early on by attending night business classes at the community college.

And he approaches the Avon Barksdale brand with a calm temperament and strategic approach.

"So he proposed --"

"To change the name."

"Exactly."

At times, like Michael Corleone, he almost convinces us that this is going to work and

he can pull it off.

The problem with Stringer's "business," of course, is that it combines the cool-headed

efficiency of a corporation

with a market in which it's standard to kill people who get in one's way.

Without the limitations and oversight that most legitimate businesses presumably have,

and without rules against killing anyone who annoys us,

Stringer's pragmatic capitalist mindset yields the most exceptionally cold and lethal

code that we witness on the show.

"You know what the difference is between me and you? I bleed red, you bleed green."

Over time, Stringer's cold-blooded capitalism sets him at odds with his childhood friend

and partner.

Avon is emotional, instinctive, and old-school.

He sees himself matter-of-factly as a drug kingpin, and he's fine with that.

He doesn't share Stringer's desire to change up the way things are or distance themselves

from the streets and the gangster image.

For a while, we're encouraged to see the value in Stringer's cool-headed way over

Avon's hot-blooded one.

In the early seasons, Stringer also seems to be the one who's doing all the work and

showing the real skill in the Barksdale empire.

While Avon's in jail, Stringer is running the business better than ever, as if this

so-called King isn't really needed at all.

The peak of Stringer's control happens in Season 3, and just as Bunny Colvin introduces

Hamsterdam --

the experiment with effectively legalizing -- or turning a blind eye to -- drugs in order

to clean up the neighborhood.

For a brief moment, as Bunny's experiment seems to be working,

it seems that Stinger's vision of the drug trade as respectable business could also possible

--

that there's a chance for, if not a win-win, at least a form of drug-dealing that's relatively

body-free.

Thanks to Stringer's logical approach and the way events are coming together,

he starts to strike us -- in moments -- almost like the Enlightened Kingpin.

But this Hamsterdam moment is revealed to be a false promise.

Avon returns and gets back into his tough gangster act, as Marlo Stanfield comes at

his crown.

"Look at you. F**king shooting dope without a f**king needle right now, man.

Getting high on a power trip, playing f**king soldier."

Avon keeps messing up Stringer's business because he's addicted to the rush of posturing

and warring on the streets.

"It ain't right for you to be at the head of our table, when you can't call off your

dog."

Stringer wants to grow and leave the corners behind, but for Avon the street is still the

point.

"String, this ain't about your motherf**king business class either. It ain't that part

of it. It's that other thing.

The street. It's the street, always."

At first we think Stringer and Prop Joe are right to be condescending about Avon's addiction

to showing his muscle in turf wars,

but we later realize Avon was right to take the threat of Marlo seriously.

And in fact both Stringer and Joe have been a little too progressive or optimistic in

thinking that making all of this more civilized was really going to work.

And at the same time as all of this is going down, Tommy Carcetti turns Colvin's Hamsterdam

into a casualty of his campaign for mayor.

So we see that Stringer's aspiration of becoming the Enlightened/Peaceful Drug Kingpin

was never to be.

And Stringer's end comes when he's betrayed by none other than his partner, Avon.

Every action Stringer takes makes sense. He's unfailingly logical.

Yet it's precisely because Stringer is too logical that we come to hate him.

Stringer is cold blood personified.

The most stunning, jaw-dropping reveal in Stringer's story is when he finally tells

Avon the truth that he murdered D'Angelo.

"I knew you couldn't do it, and Brianna wouldn't do that shit.

But there goes a life that had to be snatched, Avon."

We gather Stringer likely arranged the killing, but following Avon's direction.

So it's shocking to learn that Stringer took this move on his own, and Avon truly

didn't know.

Here Stringer is not confessing -- he proudly boasts that it was him.

"Man ain't wrong about that."

Stringer is using this information to prove that he, too, is as hard and tough as Avon.

"What, 'cause I don't shoot up a block indiscriminate I ain't hard enough?"

Yet Avon is far from impressed. He reacts as we do with disbelief at the icy blood that

runs in Stringer's veins.

Because Avon would never have been capable of this action.

We feel sick at the sight of him.

There was no emotional heat -- no fear, anger or revenge -- in his decision to kill D'Angelo,

nor was it even really that necessary.

The kid had already taken his years, was minding his own business in prison and not in a position

to do them much harm.

Stringer did it just to rule out the possibility, however small or unlikely, that Dee could

cause a problem.

If we look back, Stringer is also to blame for the worst, most heartless murder of season

one,

one of the first moments in the show that made us truly scream at the TV screen.

"String! String! Look at me! Where the f**k is Wallace? Huh?"

"Alright you stupid motherf**ker. You made this decision."

"Yeah, I made my decision. Where's Wallace at? Where the f**k is Wallace?"

Stringer rushes to order this hit without really knowing whether Wallace was guilty,

erring on the side of killing a young boy, just in case.

And when he orders the murder of Omar's lover Brandon, he displays the young man's

mutilated body to get at Omar.

He then has the nerve to misdirect Omar's grief over the very murder that Stringer ordered

at the wrong culprit.

He manipulates Omar into going after Brother Mouzone, simply because Brother Mouzone is

making his business somewhat awkward

and Stringer doesn't feel like confronting Avon about that or speaking to Brother openly

about changing the arrangement.

"My n*****, I would take the motherf**ker out if I could but Avon can't know it came

from his own people, right?"

"You don't think I'm gonna send any of my people up against Brother? Shit.

That n***** got more bodies on him than a Chinese cemetery."

All of this shows that Stringer has a very low threshold for committing murder that has

nothing to do with

guilt, retribution, fairness or even proportionate response to the individual's behavior.

Stringer approaches killing as if it were simply another aspect of his business,

another tool in his arsenal that he uses freely when he's decided to fire someone from his

organization,

or when he can't be 100% certain that a person is not even a small risk.

And this logical, green-blooded approach to killing is what makes him so hateable.

In the era or the Hamsterdam experiment, Stringer does want to avoid bodies, but not because

he has a distaste for killing,

merely because this makes life easier and helps his business by keeping the police away.

"It's the fight for the territory that be bringin' the bodies, and the bodies that bring

the police."

So it's merely a happy coincidence that for a time that he shares Bunny's goal of

keeping the body count down.

He argues against fighting because that helps his business,

but he'd just as easily argue for more killing if that were more beneficial to his profit.

Since he's an opportunist, Stringer is the kind of drug dealer who could thrive in a

city where Colvin's social change went forward.

And in that environment, Stringer, with his discipline and control actually might not

be so bad.

But he lives in this world, and he has no objection to killing.

So Stringer's pure capitalist logic applied to the arena of the violent illegal drug trade

yields something terrifying and perverse.

Stringer's plot shows us that this idea of the not-so-bad, Enlightened Businessman

Kingpin is a myth that can't exist.

Meanwhile, his forays into becoming actually legit, as a developer, are frustrating and

full of errors,

He gets taken in by Clay Davis and can't wrap his head around the kinds of legitimized

crooks he's now dealing with.

He can't set his muscle on them to get his way.

"Assassination shit, man."

" Look, I tell you to get somebody, you gettin' him. I ain't askin'."

"Damn, String, I don't know --"

"N*****, I gotta remind you who the f**k you work for?"

"Ayo. I think Slim gonna have to sit this one out, boss."

Stringer gets stuck in an in-between place -- trying to turn the street into business,

and business into the street.

So when Stringer's Iago-like scheming eventually catches up to him, he falls because he's

slipped between the two worlds.

He doesn't really get the rules of legitimate business,

and he's shown too much disregard for the rules of the world he came up in.

Omar and Brother Mouzone come after Stringer for breaking the rules of their game.

And Avon knows these rules are everything for maintaining their credibility.

"What got you here is your word and your reputation. With that alone, you've still got an open

line to New York.

Without it, you're done."

When Stringer tries to bargain with his killers, offering them money, he still doesn't really

grasp how and why he ended up here.

"What y'all n*****s want, man? Huh? Money?"

Stringer the Capitalist doesn't get that, however you go about it, murder is still murder.

It's more than just an exchange of money or some other routine aspect of business.

It can't be healed by any negotiation or appeal to self-interest.

"You know what? I look at you these days, you know what I see?

I see a man without a country. Not hard enough for this right here.

And maybe, just maybe, not smart enough for them out there."

So he doesn't understand why his time has come, but Stringer Bell most certainly has

it coming.

"Well, get on with it, motherfu --"

What we don't see at the moment of Stringer's death is that the future is about to get even

colder than

we could have imagined when we thought Stringer was the epitome of icy blood.

Everything we saw as heartless in Stringer gets multiplied many times over in Marlo Stanfield.

Stringer's just-in-case murders to rule out any possible problem are exactly the kind

of killings that

we'll see became everyday routine for Marlo's lieutenants Chris and Snoop.

So we see that Stringer, the capitalist green-blooded kingpin, wasn't an individual phenomenon

at all, but a sign of the times.

"It's a cold world, Bodie."

"Thought you said it was getting warmer."

"World going one way, people another, yo."

And everything is about to get much worse.
