NewsPod: rLoop is going full power for full Blockchain Hyperloop - Duration: 5:07.

Welcome to this news update and edition of In The Hyperloop.

I'm your host Blake Anneberg and this week's episode features news from

rloop and they're moved to blockchain technology. so what is this and why would

they want to do this for a bit of background rloop is a nonprofit that

was founded off of a reddit hyperloop thread in 2015 our loop has since

created Hyperloop technology as a decentralized team now they're scaling

their validated concepts and trying to work with their growing community of

1,000 plus collaborators from over 50 countries they've won awards for their

Hyperloop designs and there are Hyperloop prototype pods now they want

to use their blockchain technology which is called the distributed ledger for

tracking various assets and contracts I know what you're thinking and yes this

is different from a crypto currency like Bitcoin but before we dive in just a

quick reminder that in the Hyperloop relies on support from viewers like you

if you like what you see consider supporting us by clicking on the link at

the bottom of your screen for our patreon page. (Thank you!) without further ado let's

get started blockchain it's like a broad term like

the Internet but it specifically is a technology called a distributed ledger

which means that is the type of data structure which resides across multiple

computing devices and is generally a surprise

multiple regions the distributed letter ledger technology includes blockchain

technologies and smart contracts while distributed Ledger's existed prior to

Bitcoin the Bitcoin blockchain marks the convergence of a host of different

technologies these usually are three basic components for blockchain a data

model that captures the current state of the ledger a language of transactions

that changes the ledger state and a protocol used to build consensus among

participants around which transactions will be accepted and in what order by

the ledger so what does this have to do with Hyperloop well our loop is a

distributed group around the world working on hardware and software for the

Hyperloop and they want to codify all the work that they've been doing for the

last three years into this distributed ledger so people

can own exact copies of the ledger and get credit for their work by ensuring

all the parties within our loop agree to a certain state in the system which is

called consensus this means that the system can create smart contracts which

will allow for rloopers to grow and set up business processes so that they

know in real time exactly the state of their work our loop will be doing this

through tokens so people can work on Hyperloop technology and receive tokens

that are owned by the rloop network as party work on Hyperloop technology as

people work on this technology as an as and as a decentralized team they're

still trying to stay true of the our loop culture but also trying to create

kind of a formal organization these tokens will be part of that

participation from a security perspective blockchain is a log based

system so you'll you will be recording what has happened as it's happening and

other business logic will be based upon that together these can be used to build

new software applications that establish trust

accountability and transparency at their core while streamlining the business

processes and legal constraints our loop has been a very human scale intensive

organization so far so this transition from human scale to computer scale will

hopefully allow everyone to trust each other and be more transparent on how

work is progressing instantaneously our basically wants to continue to allow to

anybody to work on Hyperloop and other future projects that might not be

Hyperloop related but blockchain could increase the amount of investment that

they get in new and open research this strength of the strength of our loop is

that they harness a massive global pool of talent and projects with people that

don't have you know opportunities to work on these projects in their normal

work so it's kind of like bringing power of innovation back to people our loop

really hopes to be one a stop shop where people can work on innovative projects

like the Hyperloop and they'll equip people with sandboxes where they can

show them what do or have access to equipment or

connect them through the framework of our loop our loop again was successfully

funded the manufacturing of two prototype Hyperloop odds and won

multiple awards at SpaceX pod competitions and their communally

designed and manufactured hardware has also achieved numerous first in the

Hyperloop space if you want to learn more listen to the full length an

in-depth interview with our loop and 10x labs in the description below I also go

to rloop.org and sign up for more information and keep watching ownthe

Hyperloop.com for the latest Hyperloop stuff.

NightCore - All Falls Down (Alan Walker x WeRabbitz Remix) [Lyrics] ✔ ᶰᵉʷ - Duration: 2:38.

What's the trick I wish I knew

I'm so done with thinking through

All the things I could've been

And I know you wonder too,

All it takes is that one look you do

and I run right back to you

u crossed the line

& it's time to say f-u!

What's the point in saying that

when u know how I'll react

U think u can just take it back

but shit just don't work like that

you're the drug that I'm addicted to

And I want you so bad

Guess I'm stuck

with you

and that's that

Cus when it all falls down, then whatever

When it don't work out for the better

If we just ain't right and it's time to say goodbye

when it all falls down,

I'll be fine

Why we fight, I don't know

We say what hurts the most

Oh, I try

staying cold,

But you take it personal,

All this firing shots,

and making grounder

It's way too hard to cope

But I still

Can't let

You go

Cus when it all falls down, then whatever

When it don't work out for the better

If we just ain't right and it's time to say goodbye

when it all falls down,

when it all falls down

I'll be fine

The Best Desserts You've Never Heard Of - Duration: 4:38.

If you have a serious sweet tooth, it's hard to imagine ever getting tired of your favorite

treats.

But there's a whole world out there beyond cheesecake, pies, brownies, and ice cream.

Consider crafting some of these little-known desserts from around the globe the next time

you need your sugar fix.

Butter tarts

Canada has been holding out on the rest of the world by keeping these a secret.

The basic recipe for butter tarts, like the one Julie Nolke from Tastemade is demonstrating

here, is fairly simple.

So you can whip up a batch easily, even if you aren't a pastry chef, as long as you have

the right tools ...

"Look at this!

What is it even used for, if it isn't butter tart filling?"

To add a little variety, throw some walnuts, pecans, or raisins into the mix.

You may want to consider doubling the recipe using a cupcake pan like in this Anna Olson

video, because when they're bite-sized, these little tarts are sure to go quickly.

Pina colada crunch cake

It can be summertime any time — at least in your mouth! — when you've mastered this

simple pina colada-inspired cake.

This little-known no-bake gem from blogger "Cheeky Kitchen" is made with crushed granola

bars and pineapple, cream cheese, and lots of coconut goodness, and it comes together

quickly to easily feed a crowd.

Make it ahead of time, and then set it out to soften just before serving.

Lemon posset

This simple, traditional British dessert, sometimes served with fresh fruit, has been

around since the Middle Ages.

But today's lemon possets have a thicker texture than the traditional drink and require a spoon

to eat.

This classic dish is perfect for people who like a little tart with their sweet.

If you can't wait to try this tangy confection, you'll need just three ingredients to whip

one up, as James Martin demonstrates here.

If you have lemons, heavy cream, and sugar in your kitchen, then track down a recipe,

like this one from One Pot Chef, and give yourself plenty of time — these beauties

take about four hours to set in the refrigerator.

Maamoul

This Middle Eastern take on shortbread is made throughout the year, but this treat is

particularly popular after Lent and Ramadan, both periods marked by fasting.

It's also popular with the Jewish community, who eat the treat during the holiday of Purim.

Maamoul can be filled with a variety of ingredients, including date paste and nuts.

Tulumba

The hardest thing about making Turkish tulumba at home is getting the shape just right.

It requires a pastry bag or a similar gadget with a star-shaped tip, as this Turkish chef

demonstrates, to get the classic look of this popular street food.

But even if you don't master the shape right away, your tulumba will still be scrumptious.

Made out of deep-fried dough, tulumba gets a coating of lemon-flavored syrup before being

served.

It's rich, sweet, and decadent; what more could you ask for in a dessert?

Mitarashi dango

Who knew you could use soy sauce to make dessert?

A sweet, soy sauce-based sauce is the key to mitarashi dango, a classic treat from Japan,

as the ladies from Japanese Cooking 101 demonstrate here.

The blend of salty and sweet brings a unique flavor to skewered balls of tofu and rice

flour.

Often served fresh from the grill, mitarashi dango has become a popular street food, and

it's worth being adventurous at home and seeing what all the hype is about for yourself.

Try pairing this treat with a pot of green tea for an elegant brunch dessert.

Malva pudding

Apricot is such an underused flavor, but it gets a chance to shine in this recipe from

South Africa.

Don't be fooled by the word "pudding" in the title — outside the U.S., the term is used

to refer to many desserts and savory dishes.

In the case of malva pudding, the confection is more like a cake, like this one demo'd

by Woolworths South Africa.

This rich treat made with apricot jam is often served up a la mode, although it's packed

with so much flavor that you may prefer to enjoy it on its own.

Clafoutis

Forget cobbler: it's all about the clafoutis.

This fruit-based baked good hails from France and is kind of a cross between a cherry pie

and a pancake.

While traditionally made with unpitted cherries, you can opt to substitute your favorite fruit

if you want to, like Laura Vitale does here with raspberries.

As Beth Le Manach notes, it's traditionally served cold in France.

If you prefer it warm, serve it right out of the oven with fresh whipped cream and lime

zest, like chef Jessica Yang of Rebelle in New York City.

Halo-halo

For generations, halo-halo was one of the best kept secrets of the Philippines, but

in recent years, it has taken New York City by storm.

The beauty of halo-halo is that it can be pretty much whatever you want it to be, as

Erwan Heussaff of Tastemade demonstrates with his sweet bean-and-corn-based halo-halo.

The base recipe calls for shaved ice and evaporated milk, and from there, the sky's the limit,

but common ingredients include fruit, jelly, and ice cream.

"'Mix-mix,' 'halo-halo'.

Basically…

Sugar in a glass."

«Are they free if I can eat them?» «Of course.»

- 25 minutes in! - This ain't normal. I should've eaten the meat in 10 minutes. It's too dry.

- Go, Mandel!

- Look. He's coming to have some fun.

- Somebody tried something like that before? - Noo.

- Somebody ordered two, right? Two double... - Nobody.

- Nobody ever ordered 2, 3 or 4!

- This is not normal. - Come on, fuck!

- What about the time? - 30 minutes in.

[The meat is done! Let's go for the bread and vegetables] - Come on, Mandel! We're with you, fuck!

- 34 minutes in.

- Go, Mandel! We know your talent, bro!

- Can he make it? No, he can't.

- Oh, boy! I'm not gonna be able to do it. Still too far.

- I'm too full already.

- If we cheer him up, he will eat everything!

- I know this doesn't fit for sure. I'm too far, man.

- What do you think, Mandel? Are you giving up? - It is impossible.

- Applause, guys! - Unlucky. But I will come back!

- If the meat was ok, I would have made it.

- If I was close, I would try to finish. But there's no point in getting sick and don't finish it all.

- I do nothing but failing in Thailand. Fucking hell.

- Well, out next challenge will be 4 lollipops and one donut.

- I know I can eat more, but I cannot finish. - No, it's true. You cannot.

- The good news: I charge you only three.

Top 10 INSANE Pet Transformations - Duration: 6:14.

Hello!

Welcome back to most amazing top 10, I am Rebecca Felgate, I love animals and today

we are talking about the top 10 pet transformations.

Now…I am not condoning any of the looks on this list except number one, but this is

what people have been doing to give their pets a makeover….although……do pets really

need makeovers?

10- DRAGON CAT Oh my goodness this is the cutest dragon cat

that ever lived… but obviously totally ferocious!

This little beauty is the product of a makeover from groomers in the Russian city of Yekaterinburg.

The cat is a Siberian breed cat, dyed emerald green and shaved to look like a mythical beast.

Look at the attention to detail on that tail….

I am in love with this cats face!

The very same groomers also created this bumblebee dog at number 9

This dog looks like he kinda got a RUFF deal… he doesn't look that happy about being a

bee, although I still think he looks cute.

The Groomers made a buzz across news outlets as they began sharing pictures of their creations.

One of the groomers, Aidimirova said that the salon uses harmless dye for the dogs from

plant extracts.

8 - DOG PANDAS There is a huge trend in China to dye chow

chow dogs to look like Pandas, with some circuses trying to market them as Chinese Bears, charging

people to see them.

Chow Chows are originally from Hungary, but they are very popular with Chinese middle

classes.

One pet shop owner in Hsin Ch'en said he was struggling to keep up with demand.

He remarked that ten years ago, Chinese people were eaten dogs, but these days they want

them as pets…..pets dyed to look like pandas.

7 - WILD A Cheetah and a Tiger, oh my!

I am not sure if Cheetahs and Tigers would be bezzies in real life, but in groomed dog

land, why the heck not.

That is one tiger I wouldn't mind giving a tickle!

What a babe!

6 - Pink Pigeons In Long Island, New York, pink pigeons were

found roaming.

It seems they had been purposefully dyed pink.

Images of the birds circulated the news in 2016 and it was suspected they may have been

coloured for a wedding.

Both pigeons were tagged, which suggested they were pets.

Many local animal shelters were appalled at the transformation as birds would not enjoy

the process of being dyed, they're much more skittish than dogs and even cats, which

take the procedure with much lower levels of stress.

Be still my bleating heart- we have this field full of yellow sheep at number 5!

Is this a field of buttercups?

No!

Is it a field of yellow sheep in the Yorkshire dales?

Yes!

I love the Yorkshire Dales more than anywhere else on earth, and sheep don't mind non

toxic dye so much at all.

For the tour de France, that came through the Dales in 2014, farmers painted their sheep

yellow….a few were also red and spotty ones.

I went to the tour de france in the dales myself and it was so much fun!

Not only did they dye their sheep, they also turned all their hay bails into giant cheeses….here

is a picture of me climbing on one like a cheese queen!

What is HAPPENING at number 4 This Dog has been transformed into goofy, that is what!

Okay so actually this dog is supposed to be Disney's Pluto…but I am definitely seeing

goofy in there…and micky!

What!

This image comes from New York Photographer, Paul Nathan's portraits taken after a grooming

contest in New Jersey in 2013.

He compiled several of his pictures into a book called Groomed, which is about the creative

world of dog clipping.

Another of Nathan's snaps up next….

This tropical bonanza at number 3!

A flamingo, a parrot AND a palm tree……this dog is an actual scene…albeit a ridiculous

scene…but a scene none the less!

Okay, this dog makeover is insane, the owner has managed to make a racoon out of a dog's

butt…which seems like pure magic…witness the miracle at number 2!

Only in America could a pet owner turn their beloved pooch into a tree yielding a sleepy

racoon!

I may not totally approve of this practice, but the craftsmanship is very impressive!

Finally at number one, a true transformation and the only one I can really condone – we

have the rescue and transformation of this abandoned dog!

This poor dog, named Alice by rescuer, was found in the back of a filty tuk tuk taxi

in India.

Now….. this is how she looked when she was found…a sad mangled mess with skin disease,

Mange.

Flies were crawling on her, her nails had grown long and she had curled up to die.

Some people were dubbed her the barnacle dog.

However after animal rescue team found her, she was nursed back to health.

Slowly, she got her life back and began looking and acting like a dog again.

Her fur grew back – and this is how she looked after 6 weeks.

This makes my heart so happy.

Her tail is wagging again!

So, from the superficial to the life saving…this list

has been pretty interesting!

I am all for rescuing animals….I don't know how I feel about dying them.

I don't think I would do that to my dog, but the people who dye their pets do say its

not harmful….I guess we would have to ask PETA about that one!

What did you think to this list?

What was your favourite transformation?

Let me know in the comments section below.

I am Rebecca Felgate, I heart animals.
