so hello people here you go in today and today I'm gonna show you the coins of
Nigeria that we issued in 2006 now when these coins issued is some controversy

For me they were very average, but let's not talk about that.

...the grand finale that were BANGTAN.
But let's start from a little bit before that, I truly...

...once they announced they were coming to the US...

...TV hosts, they were like "ah yeah, you're invited to...

But for some reason I didn't like the idea. But let's focus on...

I SPENT TWO HOURS, TWO AND A HALF HOURS SITTING ON MY BED
Whenever they mentioned BTS or whenever they zoomed at them...
...when the camera zoomed at them...
...I screamed! And shouted...
...I was screaming and shouthing at the same time and was waiting for someone to come...
...and ask me what was happening...
...so I could tell them...
...BANGTAN'S ON TV.
The last performance, the very last one...
...was BTS...
...and WOAAAH!! That was a really incredible performance.
The wardrobe, it was really the style of DNA...
...all the choreography, everyone was so upbeat...
...every celebrity, non-celebrities. There were even girls...
...crying. *I* was crying.
It's just that feeling of...
...watching one of the boy groups I like on TV...
...and not on the computer! And in the moment...
...they got out I was like jumping and dancing...
...and yeah I was really excited when I saw them...
...the choreography was on point. They didn't need that much...
...special effects (on the scenario). But okay, let's go to...

Let's start with "why I didn't want them to come?"
And this has something to do with some tweets...

...or "ah, BTS! We invite you to this place" and etcetera...
Yes, BTS is being know...
...but in reality all this shows only want to...
...be more popular (regarding their rating).
Their popularity with American artists endend...
...and with Latinx artists...
...it's a little bit more "normal" to have Latinx artists...
...in the US.
So, why not inviting the Korean guys? I'm a little bit pissed...
...by that, and yeah I know it's a little bit childish...
...because I know that's how the entertainment industry works.

...showing Korean artists...
...--not only BTS--, or showing foreign artists in general...
...they are showing them as "exotic".
They are selling their image as exotic.
Like "look, we are bringing to our country something foreign, something exotic".
And on the other hand there's the consumers (of such media)...

...that are all like "ah yeah, I really like Korean music because it's different!"...

...(well, not flying but hanging from the building).
I won't demerit her, it was a very very...

...who basically danced, sang...
...and didn't need any other stuff on the background.
Korean entertainment industries...
...train their artists in EVERY field.
For us, for the Western audience...
...our dancers only need to wear nice clothes...
...and they sing. And sometimes they play an instrument.
So what's left is fireworks,...
...sparks on the background, colours and lights.
Oh, yeah, and also the fact that...
...playback is allowed. YES, SELENA GOMEZ I'M LOOKING AT YOU.
In Asian entertainment agencies, oriental agencies...
...they train their artists to sing,...
...dance, do tricks,...
...and they're practically a one-man-show.
In many, if not all, Korean TV shows when they perform...
...they are not allowed to do playback.
So now let's talk about something that concerns me a little bit:
THE CAMERAS. Last night's show's...
...camera work! I'm very angry!
Oh my goodness! They ruined everything!
Let's make another comparison: Korean TV performances are --as I...
...said-- one-man-show-like.
The camera is usually in front of the group, fixed.
If it's a group, if there are several people...
...then they do a general shot and then individual shots.
And sometimes they zoom in the audience, but that's because...
...the artist is near them or because the audience is excited.
But that doesn't last more that five seconds.
When the camera turns to other groups' members they...
...wave their hand and that's it.
If you're aware that you're bringing a group that's this popular...
...worldwide as BTS is...
...then it's pretty obvious that from your TV broadcast there's someone...
...broadcasting it on the internet...
...in some part of the world.
If you watch the MV, the choreography of DNA...
...is very complex, it has a lot of little details. But last night...
...the cameramen from the AMA's...
...shot in weird angles...
...and we weren't able to...
...appreciate the choreography. When they sing...
...they shot in diagonal angle...
...and in general they approached weirdly.
And then they also zoomed into the audience.
