Waching daily Nov 21 2017

Have you ever seen a shooting star, or even a meteor shower?

They're some of our favorite things to look for in the night sky.

It's so cool to see the streaks of light!

Meteors happen when pieces of dust or rock in space hit the Earth's atmosphere — the

air way up in the sky.

They're going so fast when they hit the atmosphere that they start to get really hot

and burn up!

That's where the light we see comes from.

[Squeaks squeaks]

Oh, don't worry Squeaks!

Meteor showers aren't dangerous.

Once the dust or rock burns up, they're gone.

Meteor showers can look really beautiful, and they're something special to watch for.

[Squeaks squeaks]

That's a great question.

Squeaks wants to know what would happen if a much bigger piece of rock hit the Earth.

What would that look like?

Well, Squeaks, that does actually happen sometimes.

If a rock is big enough, not all of it will burn up as it falls through the atmosphere.

Every year, about 30 bigger pieces of rock make it all the way through the Earth's

atmosphere.

But many of them don't even hit the ground, and if they do, they usually fall in remote

places or the ocean, so we don't see them.

Every once in a while, though, people do find pieces of them.

These pieces are called meteorites, and there are some big, cool-looking ones you can see

in museums.

We also know that some huge rocks, called asteroids, hit the Earth a very long time

ago.

Like 65 million years ago, when a very large asteroid hit the Earth.

It was about 10 kilometers, or 6 miles, wide!

It would probably take you about 2 hours to walk that far.

That's how gigantic it was.

When that asteroid hit Earth, the impact was so powerful that scientists think it caused

the extinction of many dinosaurs.

The asteroid created a giant crater — a hole in the ground shaped like a bowl.

That crater is still there, in Mexico!

And you know what's covered in craters?

[Squeaks squeaks]

That's right — the Moon!

The Moon doesn't have an atmosphere with lots of air like Earth does, so the rocks

that hit it don't burn up — they get all the way to the surface and make a crater when

they land.

And, since the Moon doesn't have things like trees or dirt or flowing water to cover

them up, it's really easy to see all those craters!

[Squeaks squeaks]

Squeaks was wondering if we should be worried about a big asteroid hitting the Earth again

any time soon.

And, it's really not something to be worried about.

Astronomers, the scientists who study space, use their telescopes to keep track of all

the asteroids nearby.

We know where they're going in space, and we can tell that none of them will hit the

Earth.

But even though we won't see a real asteroid impact, do you want to do an experiment to

see how rocks falling from space make craters?

[Squeaks squeaks]

Let's do it!

All you'll need are a few things that you probably already have around the house.

To create your own craters, you'll need:

a baking dish or cookie sheet;

flour;

cocoa powder, or any other kind of powder a long as it's a different color than the

flour;

a sifter;

and some small, round objects.

We're going to use bouncy balls, but you can use marbles, or even foods like nuts or sunflower

seeds.

If you don't want to make a mess, you can spread out some newspaper or do this experiment

outside.

The first thing we're going to do is add two or three centimeters, or about an inch, of

flour to the baking dish or cookie sheet.

Try to spread it out evenly.

Then, using the sifter, we'll add a thin layer of the cocoa powder on top of the flour.

These layers are like the surface of the Earth!

The cocoa powder is like the top layer of dirt, and the flour is like the rocks underneath.

Now: assemble your space rocks!

That's what these bouncy balls are for — or whatever you're using as your small, round

objects, like nuts or seeds.

They're going to act like the rocks falling from the sky!

Take one of your space rocks and hold it up about a meter above the flour.

Before you drop it, can you predict what might happen when it makes the impact?

[Squeaks squeaks]

Squeaks thinks the flour will go everywhere!

Let's see what happens.

3...2...1… impact!

You can see what happens to the surface when the rock hits.

It's almost like a tiny explosion!

What's left behind is the crater!

Just like the craters here on Earth, or all those craters on the Moon!

You can keep experimenting with different objects from different heights to see what

kinds of craters they make.

If you try this experiment, we'd love to know how it goes!

CMMG Guard, Fold-up Glock, 100k Subs! - TGC News! - Duration: 9:57.

This week on TGC News, CMMG delays blowback, Full Conceal goes Full something else, and

TGC hits 100,000 SUBSCRIBERS!

Welcome back to another episode of TGC News, the only gun news show that covers things

you actually care about, My name is Jon Patton.

Our first story this week is about a gun that flew under the radar a little bit.

The CMMG Guard first got released in 45ACP back in late spring of this year with little

fanfare.

And now they've added to the Guard line with a 9mm variant.

The operating system is unlike any other pistol caliber carbine currently available.

Its a radial delayed blowback.

Traditional blowback designs in pistol caliber carbines utilize a bolt carrier that has no

rotating bolt or anything of the sort.

Its very simple, the gun goes off, the carrier moves rearward due to physics and then goes

back into battery as normal.

The unique part about this new CMMG design is that it's sort of a hybrid between traditional

AR15 designs and a blowback.

Essentially the bolt itself has tapers on the rear of the locking lugs and because of

that, the force is now directed radially instead of rearward and not until the lugs have cleared

the locks does it move the entire carrier rearward.

This redirection of energy is how CMMG is managing to drop the felt recoil impulse of

these Guard rifles significantly.

I had the chance to shoot one of these bad boys at the IV8888 shoot not that long ago

and then shoot a neighboring company's standard blowback design.

The difference is clear in my opinion.

Maybe we will have to get one of these in to test that claim side by side with a blowback

gun.

The new 9mm guard is available in 6 different variants ranging in price from 1300 up to

1600 freakin dollars.

I love innovation but ouch.

With the current market allowing you to assemble your own 9mm carbine for under 500 bucks,

is that innovation worth an additional 800-1100 dollars?

Sure the gun you end up with in that story is nowhere near as nice but you could buy

3 of them for the price of the top end CMMG.

At the same time, you could buy 3 hi points for the same cost as one Glock right?

So maybe the price is justified.

I'm curious to hear your opinion.

Why don't you guys sound off in the comments below and tell me your thoughts on the new

Guard from CMMG.

Would you buy one?

And in why does this exist news, a company called Full Conceal is finally shipping a

gun they're calling the M3, it's otherwise known as the folding Glock.

You may remember back to the full mistake M1, Which was basically a sig with the grip

chopped off.

Quite possibly one of the worst ideas in recent memory.

Well they "improved" that tragedy of a gun with the new M3.

Long story short, they take a standard Glock 19, cut off the grip and then attach some

scaffolding between what was the grip and the bottom of the frame, insert a new trigger

mechanism and they are left with this.

The folding does actually look pretty smooth and they have a latch on the back to keep

the grip section from coming loose and potentially pinching the crap out of your palm.

But I just don't see why I would need this over a normal G19.

Now, I applaud them for thinking outside the box.

This is definitely a departure and could ACTUALLY lead to some really cool products in the future,

BUT we're talking about a 600 dollar gun being converted to fold and then it's suddenly worth

1400 dollars?

I don't see the added 800 dollar value.

Not only that, but I dare you to try carrying this inside your waistband, and then drawing

it like they demonstrate on their website.

It's just not going to happen.

Especially not under stress.

So what do we take away from this?

Well I think that it's quite simply a great idea that isn't on the right platform.

A glock 19 ISN'T a big gun.

Why not do this on a full size 45 that could benefit more from folding up?

Beyond that, why not try something like this on a rifle?

The Keltec Sub2000 could use a new competitor.

I feel like they were super amped on the concept and just got lazy when it came to deciding

the actual practical application.

I haven't done this in quite a while but this is super important to me so let's talk for

a second.

For those of you that might be new, I'll give you a crash course.

TGC is unlike any other gun related media outlet around.

We currently publish about 8-10 high quality videos a month, and we do so on 3 different

platforms.

Facebook, Youtube and Full30.com.

We have TGC News, The Legal Brief and our product spotlight show, NotAReview.

Despite what people call our news stories, we do not in fact do review videos, at least

for now.

There are tons of other channels out there doing that very well.

In fact it's incredible to me that despite all of the other gun content that is out there,

you guys choose to watch TGC.

And because of you guys, we just crossed 100,000 subscribers on YouTube.

100,000 people on planet earth decided that TGC was something they wanted to watch on

a regular basis.

That is absolutely incredible.

It was about this time last year that we crossed 50,000 subscribers.

We've doubled in size in a year.

That is unreal.

And for that, we thank you.

Without you guys at home, TGC would not matter.

Now as always, it's upwards and onwards.

What's next, what's coming for TGC in the next year.

We are about to roll into 2018..

What's coming?

Well HOPEFULLY before the end of the year you guys will catch a glimpse of 2 yes 2 brand

new shows.

I'm not going to tell you about them yet because it won't matter until they are real but we

are working on things.

I've spent time over the last few months renovating and expanding the studio and we're also working

on a remote testing lab for projects filmed with high speed video.

We also plan on continuing to raise money for various charitable organizations for both

disaster relief and other causes.

This year alone, we were able to raise over $9,000 for hurricane relief.

Again, not possible without you guys.

I'm really excited to get out and shoot more and bring you guys more valuable content.

Again, thank you all for helping us reach this HUGE milestone.

If you have any suggestions on how we should celebrate, PLEASE post that in the comment

section below.

Our friendly fire question this week is from Johnny Bragg of 180 Second Ideas and he asks,

what is the BEST thing going on in the gun industry right now?

That's easy.

Sales.

Right now is the best time ever to be a gun owner because stuff is dropping in price across

the board.

You can get a fully assembled AR15 for under 500 bucks and it might not suck.

You can get 5.56 ammo for 30 cents a round and under.

You can even find 22 long rifle ammo, anywhere.

It's a buyers market.

My question to you guys this week, What deals have you seen so far for black Friday?

Let's get a huge list going in the comment section and hey if you want your question

answered here on the show, you can send that to me over on theguncollective's Instagram!

And that is it for this week's show, if you enjoyed the show, hit that like button and

share it with your friends, that is a huge help.

If you didn't let me know why down in the comment section below and if you haven't please

get subscribed you won't want to miss a single week of the show, and as always, thank you

all for watching, we'll see you soon!

Energy Update – Isolation Feelings – Massive Change Over Energie - Duration: 5:19.

Energy Update Isolation Feelings Massive Change-Over Energies

by Anastacia-Blue Beyond,

ISOLATION FEELINGS-MASSIVE CHANGE-OVER ENERGIES

*Due to the very large amount of shifts and changes many are going through around me,

I am going to share just some of what is going on with others that I have been guiding,

for them to continue on in their own energy space.

As many are feeling like in an isolation bubble within our selves and close relationships.

This may not be relevant to all, yet it is to a lot of souls I know that are currently

experiencing feeling ALONE or DESERTED energetically.

Usually, I wait until more comes until I share, yet due to more and more going through

things similarly yet different for their situation right now, my heart goes out to those who

are also feeling this.

So to those souls, I share this love from me to you personally Anastacia xxx

MASSIVE CHANGE OVER ENERGY!

We are in a mid-way process of one of the most massive change overs of a Higher Vibrational

level or frequency in the human.

Or part way of being on a turn of a corner.

Many are pushing through last bits of shadow sides.

Of feeling like in an isolation bubble within our selves and close relationships.

I have been shown its like searching all corners of a room AND now no-one else is in

this room (or their energy) AND due to this, we are able to finally clean out those corners

that we did not see (feel fully) before!

As many have just gone into their own energy space as part of their journey with

the current energies.

Like an isolation bubble and others are in theirs as well.

This is mainly those close to us.

The feelings that can come up from this is deserted or very alone, along those lines

or whatever it is for each person, yet these are the most common.

I say this with so much love, that those who are feeling this, I have needed to allow them

energetically to experience in their own space, to feel what they are.

As previously I had a link that we shared an exchange of healing energy.

When I say I, I am referring that the Divine is not allowing my energy to

assist theirs as I would.

Normally.

I do know, that I am/need to pull my energy back into myself, totally for the next week.

This is very different to bringing our energy back into ourselves.

As it is meaning that it is like being in an isolation bubble within close relationships.

That is the best way I can describe this and someone will either be able to relate to this,

or not.

Now, for souls who are not used to this as in, reaching a space or place on their

souls journeys, at the forefront, the Ground Crew, diligently living in the flow and again

being consciously aware of this, consciously really working hard on themselves, shifting

and growing constantly, they are now fully feeling what they need to AND it is an extreme

feeling AND many are struggling big time feeling this.

As many are now feeling a reflection of their INNER SELF in a way, that was not possible

before energetically (not like this)of not having any one elses energies in their

space, so there is no-one to reflect energies with THEY ARE FACING THEIR HIDDEN TRUE

INNER FEARS AND INSECURITIES of what they were feeling or needing through others!

Feeling the dark corners, the bits left over that there was not light on them before and

one could not see themwell, all corners have been illuminated with these souls and

now they are finally able to face and feel those little bits of different sides or corners

that were in the shadows.

Get it?

When we reach a space or place of needing to feel loneliness, alone or deserted, along

those lineswhat I learned over the years was to fully accept that feeling and feel

itas to choose to go with this, is us having empowerment within this.

As when we accept and OWN that we FEEL say alone then eventually this DOES SHIFT.

Its like when people say, get over itI say No, actually, to get over it, one needs

to go through it..and it stops people every time when I say that lol.

As I said, this was an unexpected post, as it is not really giving a bigger picture as

I usually do, only what others are going through that is similar yet different right

now.

May this resonate for those who are needing this.

As always I am right here with you.

As all I share and bring through is as a template for humanity in linking our Spirit to our

Soul through our emotions from personal experience.

Much Unconditional Love, Truth and Honesty

I hear a tiny voice deep inside, just a whisper.

- It tells you what to do?

- Well no, not exactly but every now and then,

it makes a small suggestion.

Kanye West Overpays People for Their Work on His Songs - Duration: 2:02.

What's up, guys?

Beija here for Complex News.

Kanye West has earned a reputation for being egotistical and self-centered over the years.

But despite what some people might think about him, Kanye has absolutely no problem sharing

the credit for the work that he does, according to one of his longtime friends and collaborators.

CyHi the Prynce, who just released his debut album No Dope on Sundays, was a guest on The

Breakfast Club this week, and during his appearance on the show, he was asked about his working

relationship with Kanye.

Specifically, CyHi was asked if Kanye has paid him for the work he's done on the various

projects the two have worked together on.

And CyHi said that he has been paid, and furthermore, he revealed that Kanye is known for overpaying

those who work with him.

Getting paid by Kanye, it seems, is never a problem.

"I definitely got paid…He overly pays.

That's an issue."

CyHi went on to say that, in addition to always paying people for their work, Kanye is also

quick to give them credit for the work they do, even if they do something as simple as

just offering up an opinion on a track when he asks for it.

CyHi cited one example in which a man wearing black leather jeans walked into the studio

during a Yeezus session while Kanye was recording the song, "Black Skinhead."

It led to Kanye using the lyrics, "For my theme song/My leather black jeans on," and

it also led to the man in the black leather jeans receiving a check since Kanye credited

him for his inspiration.

CyHi explained just how generous Kanye can be by pointing out that he credits just about

everyone involved in the recording process when he's in the studio.

"If you're delivering waters, if you're the engineer, if you're the cameraman, if

he ask you one thing about this song, your name is on this record.

All you got to do is be in the brainstorming.

If you were in the brainstorm room, you get part of the record."

Elsewhere in his Breakfast Club interview, CyHi also spoke about how his 2015 song, "Elephant

in the Room," which was originally mistaken for a Kanye diss, was not actually a diss

at all.

In reality, CyHi revealed that Kanye gave him the beat for the song and was supposed

to be on the track exchanging bars with him, similar to how Eminem and Dr. Dre rapped on

"Guilty Conscience."

But when that didn't work out, CyHi went ahead and made the song his own.

That's the news for now, but for all the latest news on CyHi the Prynce and Kanye West,

We Tried Astronaut Ice Cream At NASA - Duration: 2:40.

- One of these I do not like. I don't know which one it is.

It really doesn't help that we ate'em all at the same time.

(dramatic music)

- So we're at Rocket Park in Houston, Texas.

And we're in space suits, so I thought it would be cool

if we tried Astronaut Ice Cream.

- All right. Yeah.

- Let's do this.

(explosion)

- So the first one we're trying is

Chocolate Ice Cream with Chocolate Chips.

The presentation is not the best on the inside.

They were kind of just like, "Here it is."

- Cheers. - Cheers.

- Oh wow. - Mmm.

- You know the texture is exactly

like Lucky Charms marshmallows.

- Mmm.

- You want one more?

- Mmm. On a scale of one rocket to 10 rocket,

how good was this one?

- I'd say at least seven.

- I'm a chocolate lover. I'ma give this an eight.

I'ma take another bite.

The next one we're trying is Ice Cream Sandwich.

Oh, it's cute.

- Oh yeah. They really got the look of the

Ice Cream Sandwich down.

Kind of has more of a toast texture.

- I think I like how cool and refreshing ice cream is,

so it's just really weird.

- I'm gonna put that one at six rockets.

- I'ma give that one a five. Five rockets.

We got some freeze-dried Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream.

Ooo la la.

(fantasy music)

(laughter)

- It's like taking a bite of air.

- Mint is supposed to hit you in like a cool, old way.

It tastes like mint gum was hanging

in my mouth in my mouth for way too long.

I give this a two.

- I was gonna say one, but I am still eating it,

so I'm gonna go with two.

- Kind of a Neapolitan-style ice cream.

- Neapolitan. All right. Pretty excited about this one.

- I used to only eat the chocolate part,

'cause I didn't like anything else.

- Oh. How did everyone else in the family feel about that?

- I was the unloved child.

- Oh.

- Strawberry first.

- All right.

- [Man] Hey, you should really put one of each

in your mouth at the same time.

That's how people eat Neapolitan ice cream.

- Thanks, random stranger.

- Sure.

- I like it.

- Do you?

- This is like that nice kind of flavor of all

the ice creams just kind of working as one,

in perfect harmony.

- I think the strawberry is the one I don't like.

There's just like not enough strawberry flavor,

and it's more just like hard marshmallow flavor.

- I'ma give this a seven.

- Like combined, or one?

For the strawberry, negative eight, to bring it

down to one out of 10.

- What does that equal?

- One.

- Okay.

- I'd eat this any time. Yeah.

We don't even have to be in space.

You can enjoy this anywhere.

- You know what, if we were in space,

we wouldn't have options.

We've learned something today.

Being an astronaut is very hard.

- Yeah.

- But ice cream can make it better.

- Unless it's mint.

- Unless it's mint.

- Or strawberry.

(dramatic music)

Sports Fans Try Spelling Hockey Players' Names - Duration: 3:49.

- Today, we are going to try to identify hockey players

and spell their names,

which is not gonna go well.

There're so many Hs, and Js, and Vs.

- I'm a terrible speller.

- It'll probably be a fail,

but we're gonna try.

- Every time one of us spells something wrong,

we're gonna get a little surprise.

Or so I have been told, it's probably not good.

Typically, you don't get rewarded for failure.

- That's cruel.

- Pour ice down my back?

- Lovely. That sounds fantastic.

- This is either Patrick Kane or Jonathan Toews,

I can never remember which one is which,

because they're like synonymous,

they're like best buddies.

- Looks like a friendly guy.

- Already not happy about this Black Hawks situation,

'cause fuck the Black Hawks.

- Did I get it?

It's my future last name, I better get it right.

I'm kidding.

No, no, no, that's really creepy, I would never...

- Is it Taows?

Survey says?

Aw, fuck.

Of course Toews is T-O-E-W-S.

Yeah, that looks more correct.

You know, both of these look like words.

- I'm rollin with this.

Tayves.

Damn it.

(cheers)

- Yeah, I guess I get iced now.

I'm actually kinda warm, so this

isn't gonna be the worst --

oh nope, it's the worst.

- Oh my god, really?

Okay.

- Oh, Ove.

Alexander Ovechkin, the bear himself.

- I'm gonna first spell it how I think it's spelled

and then I'm gonna change it to how

I think it is spelled wrong.

O.

- O.

Solid start, I feel like we're good there.

- Yes!

- I put an exclamation point there because

that's how I feel his playing style is.

- I'm gonna throw a J in here.

O-V-E-

J-

- This is what I'm rollin with.

Ovechkin.

Of course it's incorrect.

Why would it be correct?

- Ovechkin.

Aw, shit!

I thought I would have to hockey it up

a little bit.

- Warm it up for you a little bit.

- Thank you.

Still gonna be

Still gonna be ice though.

Really wouldn't mind getting one of these right

just so I could skip that.

(giggles)

- Every time, it's ice cold again.

Because it's ice.

- Oh my god!

He's my favorite.

Jaromir Jagr.

- Jaromir Jagr.

- Yes!

- Jaromir Jagr.

- Yes, he is a national hero in

the Czech Republic.

(sighs)

- Jarmeer Jager.

Was any part of it correct?

Just put that O in there so I just barely missed it.

No, see, I was so close.

- Ready?

- Yeah, I guess.

So unpleasant, every time.

I was like oh, it'll get better.

Nah, it's not.

- Go ahead.

Drop the ice.

That was more than last time.

- Gostisbehere.

- He's German.

No, no, no!

- This may be wrong.

This is probably most likely wrong.

Oh no!

- Let's pretend like this might be right

but it's not.

How far off am I?

- Shane Gostisbehere.

I know it's wrong already.

- It's incorrect.

(shivers)

- Oh, it went right down through the bott --

no, it's stuck in there.

- Oh my god.

(shivers)

- Well, we did it!

(rock music)

- This is both the spelling for a toe and

towing your car smashed into one word.

Marijuana farmers are destroying natural ecosystems as quest for profits outweighs "green" agricultu - Duration: 4:45.

Marijuana farmers are destroying natural ecosystems as quest for profits outweighs green

agricultural practices

People who turn to medical marijuana are often drawn to the fact that its natural.

This is indeed a great quality from a health standpoint, but environment-minded marijuana

buyers, take note: New research shows that marijuana farming in remote locations is having

a negative effect on the environment.

After studying the ecological consequences that marijuana farming had in Northern California,

researchers from Ithaca College discovered that small farms were having a surprisingly

big impact.

In a press release, the colleges Environmental Science Associate Professor Jake Brenner wrote

that cannabis has significant environmental impacts despite its small spatial footprint.

He suggests that policymakers put land-use and environmental regulations in place to

help control the expansion of cannabis crops before the situation grows more widespread,

given the increase in legalization and popularity of the plant.

Cannabis now enjoys legalization for varying degrees of medicinal and/or recreational use

across 30 states in the U.S. and several other countries.

They reached their conclusions after comparing cannabis cultivations environmental effects,

including forest fragmentation, the loss of habitats, and deforestation.

In fact, the researchers pointed out that cannabis causes bigger changes in several

key metrics in terms of unit area compared to timber, although the latters overall

landscape impact remains greater.

For example, after looking at pot farms in 62 random watersheds in Humboldt County from

2000 to 2013, the crop was shown to cause 1.5 times greater forest loss and 2.5 times

more forest fragmentation than timber harvest.

California laws on marijuana cultivation inadvertently hurting the environment

Little is known about the long-term impact of marijuana farming or regulations in the

industry as policymaking struggles to stay on top of the industrys growth.

Part of the problem is that California laws state marijuana cultivation must be confined

to just one acre per land parcel.

By preventing wide-scale industrial marijuana farms, this law is actually encouraging small

farms with big environmental impacts to proliferate, breaking up the forest and hurting wildlife

habitats.

This adds on to previous studies carried out by the same research team showing that the

pesticides used on marijuana farms to keep rodents away can hurt mammals in the area,

while irrigation is having a negative impact on local wildlife.

Moreover, because their locations are typically quite remote, access roads must be created

and land must be cleared for production.

That report suggested that growing marijuana in places with gentler slopes, plenty of water

sources, and better access to roads could help reduce the threats to the environment

significantly.

Marijuana can also be cultivated indoors.

Those growing the crop should avoid using chemical pesticides for obvious reasons.

Its not just bad for the environment; its also terrible for your health.

Indeed, pesticide exposure could be behind the cancer that spurs many people to seek

medical marijuana in the first place.

Some illegal forest growers have been using pesticides like carbofuran, which has long

been banned in the country, and its now making its way into the water.

This causes headaches, vomiting, muscle twitches, dizziness, convulsions and even death in some

cases.

California is home to more than 90 percent of the illegal pot farms found in the nation.

Profits coming at expense of environment

Unfortunately, there are a lot of profits to be made here, and some of the less scrupulous

growers are focusing on profits at the expense of the environment.

By raising awareness about the potential impact, it is hoped that such parties will turn to

more responsible growing practices in the future.

As the scientists in these studies point out, however, there isnt much research available

about land-use science when it comes to cannabis agriculture.
