Today we are seeing temperatures much higher than yesterday.

The lows are about 7 degrees higher than Tuesday.

However, you should be aware of a mix of rain or snow in the morning hours, drive with caution

for your morning commute.

Also,... it seems yellow dust could also blow in,... elevating fine dust levels.

After showers let up, we can expect some sunshine, and highs in Seoul and Daejeon will be at

12 degrees Celsius... a lot milder... while Gwangju and Daegu will see the high rising

to 11 degrees Celsius.

The weather won't be as generous for Suneung test takers tomorrow, a mix of snow and rain

is in store for Seoul and surrounding areas in the early hours, so dress warmly and be

extra careful on the roads.

With that, let's take a look at the international weather for viewers around the world.

While we'll see temperatures easing up on this Wednesday along with brighter skies in

many regions in South Korea, most parts in North Korea will have mostly sunny skies but

colder highs.

As for major cities in Asia,..

Beijing will be as cold as yesterday, while Tokyo will be rainy.

Meanwhile, Melbourne swelters through its hottest November week in 155 years and Wednesday's

highs will be similar to yesterday at 32 degrees.

Heading to North America, LA could have the hottest ever Thanksgiving this year, this

November 23th is forecasted to be the hottest in nearly 85 years.

As for South America, Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro will see showers along with thunder

and lightning again.

Taking you to Europe,...Berlin and Stockholm will be rainy while Moscow will be freezing

at a high of minus 1.

Lastly to Africa, Cape Town will have another rainy day with sunshine in store for Thursday.

Introduction: The Food Less Traveled - Duration: 3:25.

It's our most essential, basic need in this world. Over top of cars, bills,

cell phones, computers, clothes and everything else

that we have in our world.

It was James Beard, perhaps one of America's best-known chefs

that called food the common denominator that brings people

together. In the summer of 2017, I set out on a road trip from Mexico to Canada to

tell a story of a common denominator and to share the voices of our collective food community.

My name is Caroline Kamm and I am a graduate student, researcher,

and food advocate. Years ago, while I was doing my research in Belgium, I met a

farmer with a powerful point of view. He had founded a farmers cooperative to

tackle many of the challenges that farmers in the region faced. Farmers were

struggling with falling food prices, competition from abroad, and apathy from

politicians. After telling me about all of these challenges he looked me right

in the eye and told me: "It's a scary time to be a farmer, but it's also a little

exciting, don't you think? Since then I have set out to find other farmers

and food advocates like him, that see the exciting

opportunities in the food system. It is their stories that have the potential to

inspire others to make a difference of their own. This series will focus on

eight food and farming initiatives across North America. Each of them is

tackling a major challenge in the food system through their own unique work.

They all recognize that we have an uphill battle ahead of us, and even so

they have committed to making their mark. When I began this project my initial

focus was on local food. I thought about the experiences that first engaged me

with food issues, usually something as simple as going to the farmers market.

But when it comes to food system change I recognized that we needed diversity of

approaches, some big and some small. A local food system is more than how far

your food has traveled, it is about building stronger and healthier food communities

We are so excited to share stories from

these eight organizations with the world. More than that we are striving to put

these organizations into communication with one another, to reveal how their

work is in fact a component of a larger process of food system change.

These are the voices of North American food heroes and we want to celebrate the diversity

and ingenuity of their work. Join us as we journey through North American local food.

And beyond the single journey we hope you will join us in our mission of

building community around our common denominator. Food is essential,

it is liberating and as you will see in this series, a better food system

is worth fighting for.

Transhumanism is the belief that technology plays a

crucial role in the evolution of the human condition

from biomedical advancements to entertainment and day to day activities

The word "transhumanism" was first used by Aldous Huxley's brother, Julian Huxley,

the first director general of UNESCO and one of the founders of the World Wildlife Foundation

In his book "Religion without Revelation" Huxley states:

" The human species can, if it wishes, transcend itself – not just sporadically, an individual here in one way, an individual there in another way

– but in its entirety, as humanity. We need a name for this new belief. Perhaps transhumanism will serve: man remaining man,

but transcending himself, by realizing new possibilities of and for his human nature."

In today's world a prime example of a transhumanist might be a body hacker, someone who, in the eyes of the public,

crudely attaches technology to their body. While this might be an alien topic for many people,

another example is the implementation of myoelectric prosthetics, such as the michelangelo arm prosthetic, or utilizing microchip implants to the brain.

While transhumanism might seem like the stuff of science fiction, it is undeniable that as such technologies are further developed,

and the market for these technologies expands, such advancements will make them more accessible.

The human urge to go further and do more will never be ceased, and these technologies are only the beginning of what humans might be capable of augmenting themselves with.
