Dancing My Cares Away - Duration: 2:49.

CHRISTIFER: Why do I like dancing? I like dancing because I like laughing when people fall.

A lot. But also it's like the easiest way to just communicate. Like, if you

can't find the right thing to say you just move. Say. And people fall down. I

like that a lot. KYLE: Oh hi! I went dancing the other night. Now

I know what you're thinking. Kyle, aren't you about as graceful as a couple of

plucked chickens in a grocery bag falling down a flight of stairs? Well to

that I say: that's quite the visceral image. But yes, you're also right.

Dancing is such an expression of yourself. It can be raw and powerful, and

when it's done well it can be gorgeous. As a film fan – and maybe more importantly

as a Broadway fan – I have a deep respect for dancing. Whether it's Gene Kelly

sloshing around in the rain, or Fred Astaire twirling around on the ceiling

it fills me with so much joy. Which is why I've been always scared to try. So

against my better judgment I decided to accept an invitation from Christopher, a

fellow YouTuber, to one of his dance classes. Other local video makers were

also there. KYLE: So I am shiny and for once it's not because of my Vaseline fetish. JEN: Can you see me? Can you see me?

KYLE: Hi everyone! JEN: Hi!

KYLE: I never thought that dancing would be that physical.

I mean, of course I knew that it was going to be a workout and stuff.

But man, I was a thing I didn't think I could do.

JEN: I will say to the audience,

Kyle has always said that "I can't dance."

But Kyle can dance. Kyle has rhythm.

He just refuses to reveal it.

KYLE: Maybe. JILL: Jen did a great job.

She's lying. She did a great job. JEN: No, Kyle did a great job.

JILL: I didn't actually see Kyle. We were always dancing together.

KYLE: That's right. We were crunking it up. JEN: Yes!

KYLE: Kelela? KELELA: So good.

I was just trying to photo bomb you.

It was very sweaty. I mean, I'm very sweaty.

I don't know who I am anymore.

KYLE: I'm more sweat than man. KELELA: Yes. Well, always. KYLE: Always.

17 takes and that was my best one. Joking aside, what

I discovered was that there was this sense of power that came over me while I

was dancing.I wasn't just baring my soul alone, I was creating something with a

group of people. And maybe that's too hippie-dippy for you but I got sweaty

and I liked it. Now if only someone could teach me that "run up the wall and

do a back flip" trick that way I could impress people at parties by the way I

can break my neck. What do you think? Are you a dancer? Do you enjoy watching

dancing? What are your highlights? Let me know down in the comments below. Thank

you so much for watching! My name is Kyle. I upload videos every Thursday and

sometimes even on Monday. If you like this video and want to see more of them

consider becoming a patron over on my Patreon page. And now I can watch that

terrible Dancing in the Street video. Tilda Swinton must be rolling around

in her grave.

STUDY OF 2000 CARDIAC ARREST PATIENTS DEMONSTRATES CONSCIOUSNESS EXISTS WELL BEYOND PHYSICAL DEATH - Duration: 3:21.

STUDY OF 2000 CARDIAC ARREST PATIENTS DEMONSTRATES CONSCIOUSNESS EXISTS WELL BEYOND PHYSICAL

DEATH

BY Anna Hunt,

What makes us who we are?

The psyche the self has been a mystery for ages.

Now, an intensive care doctor and his team have found a way to start answering at least

some of the countless questions surrounding the mystery of consciousness.

Through their research, Dr. Sam Parnia and his colleagues have confirmed that consciousness

continues to exist, even when the body and the brain die.

Dr. Parnia is the director of critical care and resuscitation research at NYU Langone

School of Medicine in New York City.

According to Parnia, brain function halts almost instantaneously after the heart stops.

Despite this, his study of people who suffered cardiac arrest shows that human consciousness

exists, even after the brain is dead.

In the video above, Parnia makes the following claim.

Human mind and consciousness that thing that makes us who we are, our self does

not become annihilated, when weve gone beyond the biological threshold of death.

Parnia and his colleagues have been studying what happens to consciousness and the brain

during the period between physical death and when a person is resuscitated.

Being one of the largest studies of this type, their research includes more than 2000 people.

These individuals all met the physical criteria for death and were resuscitated.

Out of the study subjects that were successfully brought back to life:

40% had a perception of having had awareness.

10% had a very vivid mystical or religious transformative experience.

5% had full visual and auditory awareness, to where they were even able to describe events

in the room.

One had awareness for up to 5 minutes after doctors called time of death.

One of the goals of this research is to find ways to resuscitate people successfully, without

brain damage.

In addition, the research has given us a glimpse of what happens to our conscious self when

blood flow to the brain is cut off.

The study concludes that The Self persists, even after death, at least for the short term.

Of course, it is difficult to say how long this out-of-body awareness continues.

Finally, the researchers claim that when the body dies, the mind finds peace.

Parnia states that once people die,

they have a perception that the self is detached from the body.

They are able to watch things, and they dont feel any pain.

They dont feel any discomfort.

Theyre in complete peace.

They know theyre being declared dead, but they have no distress about it.
