Hello honey bunnies... <3

I have already uploaded 2 recipes

If you haven't seen that video,
I am adding the link somewhere here,
Please check, and share your comments
So today we are preparing a recipe which is
North Karnataka's famous street food
Named as Girmit
If you eat street foods
OR if you have visited north Karnataka
You might have tasted it
And you would surely have liked it
Atleast me and all my friends, love it a lot
So today, come lets see how to prepare girmit
First, we have taken 2 table spoons of oil in a pan
To this, add 3 slit, long green chillies
Fry this in low-to medium flame
If you feel oil is wasted,
Don't worry, we will use the same oil to prepare girmit
So once its fried, lets take it out on a plate
Add salt as per taste
Mix well and keep it aside for later use
Now in the same pan, i have added around 1/2 table spoon of oil
Add around 1 tea spoon of mustard seeds to this
Add around 1/2 tea spoon of cumin seeds
1 tea spoon turmeric powder
Add finely chopped green chillies. I am adding 1 long chilli
Add a pinch of asafoetida
After frying for 2 mins,
Add onion
I have finely chopped, 1 medium sized onion
Add 3/4th the onion and keep the rest aside
Cook this in medium-low flame until its soft
I have cooked this for around 4-5 mins in low flame
Add 1 cup of tamarind pulp.
I had soaked lemon sized tamarind in water for 15 mins
Add this pulp to the pan
To this, add 1 table spoon of powdered jaggery
You can add sugar if you want to
Salt as per taste
cook this in medium flame, until boiled
Cook it until oil seperates
or it reaches the consistency as shown
Let it cool down completely and then we will prepare girmit
Take a vessel and add required amount of puffed rice to it
Add 1 table spoon of prepared girmit masala to it
You can add as per required
To this, add 1/4th cup of fried gram flour
little bit of tomato (1/4th tomato cut into pieces)
Mix it well
Girmit is all about mixing. So mix it well
Take a vessel with small opening, as its easier to mix
I am adding 1 more tablespoon of girmit masala
Remaining 1/2 cup fried gram flour
mix it well again
Take it out on a plate or a bowl
Add the remaining tomato on top
Avoid adding the liquid content of tomatoes
Add the remaining onion
Add chopped coriander leaves.
If you have coriander leaves, you can add to the oil in the beginning
Add chopped coriander leaves
Add little bhujia sev or thin sev you get in market
This is completely optional
Top it up with fried chillies
And serve with tea or coffee
So honey bunnies, thats how easy it is to prepare girmit
You can prepare the girmit masala, keep it in fridge and use whenever required
Do prepare this recipe at home,
Have it with tee or coffee and share your experiences with me
Thank you sooo much for watching this video
I will see you again next week with another recipe
Till then, bye byee
