Waching daily Nov 26 2017

In today's video you will see some fresh awesome bugs on new De_Dust2.

Hey guys, NadeKing here.

Many of you have been asking where you can see, who won the giveaway.

Just follow my Twitter NadeKingCSGO and you get all the info from there.

Link in the description as well.

In this video I will show you some new De_Dust2 bugs, which haven't been fixed yet.

There are surely more bugs, but here are some that I found exploring the map lately, some

of them are just texture bugs, but they are still mistakes and this kind of iconic

map should not have even the smallest appearance mistakes.

Let's see what could be done better.

Let's start off with "AWP in the wall" bug.

Basically, you can drop your AWP almost everywhere in the wall and this is not good.

You can do it on the other maps as well, but right now we

are talking about De_Dust2.

I guess the mistake is somewhere in the game engine.

So it is not purely Dust2 bug, but still we have it here as well and as you can see the

situation is kinda bad right now.

Next up credits to Reddit user UnderestimatedKoala for showing this trick and we are on the B

bombsite.

You can have a natural wallhack here and see through the smoke easily.

They can't smoke defuse if you use this trick, because you can clearly see the player's model.

Although I guess and hope this bug will be fixed really really

soon.

If you want to abuse it then the best time to do it is right now.

Alright, some bad news for football fans.

You can play football on new De_Dust2 although this gate will easily let the ball out of

the map.

Considering, this is the place most soccer matches take place,

then be careful next to this gate.

A bombsite.

Really bad bug and this gives you a huge advantage against the enemy team.

Just crouch here, and if you look at this wall and move a bit you can see a sloppy texture

bug.

There is a white line on this wall.

It's just too ugly for our new beautiful Dust2.

Longhouse.

The easiest way to ruin the round for your team, especially if most of the team are already

dead.

You can't solo take this bomb from here, you need to make a boost here.

So, don't do it please.

Be superGentleman okay!

Next to T spawn.

If you or your friend stand on this trash bin you are actually walking in the air and

it is possible to shoot under your model.

Strange, but true.

CS:GO keeps suprising us with those magic tricks.

Long.

I am not really into those texture bugs, they don't bother me too much, but some pedants

are mad I know.

This line just looks really bad right here.

It's either made by drunk builders or it is some kind of Valve's bad joke.

Whatever it is, it would look better if you fix it.

Please Valve.

B bombsite.

I really like this box, it is useful for defending the bombsite in afterplant scenarios etc.

But I don't like this clipping right here.

Kinda abnormal.

If you crouch like this you can't stand up, because this clipping

is forcing you to stay crouched.

Almost like in real life, but not really.

Also, if you jump you bounce off like this.

Strange stuff going on here, watch out.

Long once again.

It is common to molotov car position as it's a very powerful spot to hold A on the new

map.

So, if you molly it, make sure your molotov is not landing under the car, otherwise it

just won't spread.

Just look at the difference and make sure you molotov lands properly next to car or

on the car.

Watch out for the bounce as well.

Supergeneral.

And the last bug of this video, or I would rather say trick, but it is just overpowered

trick and therefore looks strange.

If you are coming out from B tunnels, you can flash right on your toes basically and

not get flashed at all.

It is because of these steps new map has.

So I don't know if we can call it as a real bug, but it is kinda overpowered trick if

you can push B with a flash and you do not need to turn your head away yourself as the

flash pops.

So hit that like button if you enjoyed and thanks for watching!

Now its right time to watch tricks you have already forgotten.

Como conseguir ser jovem aprendiz em um banco - Duration: 6:46.

How do I become a young apprentice that will work in a bank?

Talk about it with you in a bit ... [music]

The selection process for a young apprentice who will acting on a bench is very similar to

young apprentice of a regular process any other company.

But has some differences that is good you stay tuned.

We will then start talking about subscriptions. It is ... usually banks

private, and then I'll mention three specific

Itaú, Bradesco and Santander. Three major banks operating

how the selection processes in them? You have to enter the site that

bank, do your online resume and then they spend

to contact you later. But it is good to show to you that will be

different this process of making curriculum in a bank.

"Because it will be different teacher" Because after you make your registration, the bank

will send to your email login and a password for you to be able to enter, and then

You will have a link there, you clicked you will put login and password and will make

proof online. This online test will show if you

It has a good knowledge of Portuguese, and therefore communication, and also

logical mathematics. Then it is a proof who has general knowledge rather to see

if you know what's going on world, knowledge is, but

especially if you will check know how to write right, interpret text

and at the same time knows how to do accounts. People, of course, the bank has to make

proof of these. Because? Because you come into contact with people who are

businessmen, authorities require you have good communication.

If I leave my money with you I want you knows how to count!

So stay tuned, so you make your online resume, these

institutions that I mentioned, this will link. And you'll have between 15 days

in a month to make this test. If you do, you not even a second chance.

So I went there, did the curriculum, will the link.

Stay tuned to run sufficient proof.

But do not direct. Review what you know about what ...

you studied about writing, the about reading comprehension,

calculations mainly percentage, ratio and proportion. Understood? Stay tuned,

transfer and then will make this race these online banks.

In the case of banks that are banks Public and government, so to speak,

the process is a little different. There is the case for example in the case, and

then you can look for another video I talk about this in more detail,

in which a part is made in the NGO, registration is not done the bank,

Savings Bank, is done in the CIEE and then after you register to participate

Job Caixa Economica Federal. All this see in the video after I

I bet on the contest box for ... young apprentice.

In the case of the Bank of Brazil, who makes a process is an NGO, and then you will have

to find out what the NGO does. In the Savings Bank is the CIEE.

But the Bank of Brazil, the bank works with many NGOs, or companies without

profit, and you have to find out what her because that's where

you will make your registration as well registration later.

The best way to know what this is institution, this NGO, is you ask

for someone who works in the bank Brazil, and you know, to catch

this information for you. give this person will tell you what the NGO where

it is and will probably get report also when they are going to have

new apprentice positions. Just in case, there will most

quickly as possible and make your registration. The big difference then is the proof online.

Then it is clear that the bank will do an interview with you.

Both the public bank, or government, or else the private bank Bradesco as

Itaú and Santander. It is at this time when most young people make mistakes.

Because? Because they go from jeans, they go anyway, some will with cap ...

people is not what the bank wants! The bank wants a different young man.

Then you will not go wrong? Do the following: will three days before and see how

that personnel is entering that bank, you will have to make

interview will dress. For example, it has places where literally anyone

works in a bank has to go jacket. Now has seats inside for

example of a state in which just the tie is enough.

If the place where you asked the vacancy the staff is jacket you will jacket!

If they will tie you will tie. Women take care, okay.

Sometimes the woman, she goes with huge heeled shoe, giant size for

to interview. And do not expect it the young apprentice.

Expected but it go with a closed shoe,

a short hop, and finally a blazer small, this is the basic garment.

Also check how women They entered that bank.

You copied the dress of one of them, you can do no wrong.

But also careful with makeup, something very light, perfume and

levinho because a lot of people going in bank look up service, you are allergic.

So it's something we have to take very careful, do not overdo it.

Women, as well levinha makeup. OK? Thus, taking these precautions,

you get a learner wave yes. But as you noticed, there are some

care should be taken. Pay attention to this detail I

I passed and I am sure you will achieve your dream of working as

young apprentice in a banking institution.

Thank you all and to the next video. [music]

English fruit cake/ Früchtekuchen/ Plum Cake de menage/ Bánh trái cây của Anh quốc - Duration: 6:30.

Hello, it's nice that you tuned into thuskochtour again.

Today I would like to show you this delicious English fruit cake for the pre-Christmas season.

This cake originates from England and consists of dry fruits and i soften baked in a loaf pan.

The English cake gets refined with alcohol e.g. rum.

The cake is very simple and now I will show you the ingredients that you need.

You need: 200g flour

150g soft butter

3 eggs

150g sugar

40g dried mixed fruits

60g raisins (already soaked in rum or soak in apple juice)

2tbsps milk

1/2tsp baking powder

2tsps vanilla extract

First beat up the butter with the sugar until white and creamy

Add the eggs one after the other and stir again.

Then mix together the milk and baking powder, sieve it into the egg mixture and stir.

Add the milk, vanilla extract and continue stirring.

Now add half of raisins and half of the dried fruits and fold it in.

Cover the loaf pan with a baking sheet with the size 22cm x 9cm, fill the batter into the cake , smoothen it out and spread the remaining raisins and dried fruits on top.

Now put the cake into the preheated oven with upper and lower heat at 180 degrees celsius for approx. 1h 15min. I recommend testing it with a wooden stick.

Take out the cake and drizzle it with rum. If there are children, you can also leave out the rum and sprinkle it with icing sugar.

And now the English fruit cake is done! This cake is super simple and can be prepared in a short time and also tastes delicious.

Now it is your turn! Which recipes would you like me to try out next? Leave me your answers in the comments. I wish you a happy pre-Christmas season and until next week!

10 WAYS TO SAVE MONEY FOR TRAVEL... or whatever | Hobo Ahle - Duration: 6:49.

So saving money is one of those things that is way easier said than done. And it

took me a really long time to be able to figure out how to do it successfully and

continuously. So I just want to share with you guys ten things that I

implemented into my spending habits or lack thereof that have really really

helped me create a savings for myself.

Now in my case personally, I really started to focus on saving money so that

way I could use it to travel. However, even if that's not the intent of what

you want a savings for I still think that all of these will be really really

helpful actions that you can take to get you closer to your savings goal. And on

the topic of travel specifically it's a very very common misconception that in

order to travel you have to have a lot of money, which in my opinion is not the

case. As long as you make it a priority and you make some adjustments to your

lifestyle and your spending habits you could be well on your way to your next

trip sooner than you think. So number one is going to be "convert money to time or gas."

Now especially like if you work hourly and you want to buy a new shirt, but the

shirt costs $30.00 think about how many hours of work it takes you in order to

make the amount of money for this one shirt... is it really worth it? And again,

also if travel is your goal, think about how far could that $30 get

you in gas. There are definitely a lot of times where this has saved me by just

thinking "do I really want to spend this money on something that I'm gonna wear a

few times or maybe use once rather than on a tank of gas that's gonna take me

somewhere really really cool?" And I think that works with almost any goal that you

have. Just kind of take into consideration the amount of money you

would be spending and how could you use that towards your intended goal to get

you a little bit further. The second one is to "give yourself a grace period." So if

you see something that you really really like and you really want to buy... it's

probably not going anywhere. So just take a second, give yourself a few days you

know, and if at the end of those few days you're still thinking about it and you

still want it just as much then maybe go ahead and get it,

but definitely give yourself a little leeway period because I found that most

of the time if I see something in a store or online I think "oh my goodness, I

really want that!" I feel like I have to have that, but I wait a couple days and I

totally forget about it. Number three would be to "ask yourself: 'do I really

need this?" like do you? Do you really? Do you need it, do you want it, do you really

really want it? I mean what's the deal? and honestly most of the time you're

gonna find that you don't really need it. Number four "invest in good quality items

the first time around." Now I will be the first to say that I don't believe the

more expensive the better type of thing however, there are some items where you

do get what you pay for. So for instance, if you're gonna buy a

really nice winter jacket it makes a lot of sense to kind of throw down and get

something that's gonna be worth your money and does what it's supposed to do

and is durable rather than you buy a super cheap winter jacket and it rips or

it doesn't really keep you warm so then you have to buy another one, but you

still don't want to spend a lot of money on it say you buy another cheap one and

that doesn't work and at that point you've bought like five different super cheap

winter jackets when if you had initially just bought the really expensive one you

probably would have saved a little bit of money. So again, I don't always think

that the more expensive something is the better quality it's gonna be, but do your

research and don't waste your time buying the same thing over and over again.

The fifth thing would just be to "give up some 'essentials'". So we are all

guilty of it, we have things in our lives that we would consider absolutely

necessary must-haves, but when you get down to it they're totally expendable.

And some of those things being like expensive makeup or fancy hair products

and I don't know- I don't know what would be the equivalent for guys, but once you

learn to live with less then you spend less. Six is "stop eating out" not forever,

but eating out definitely adds up. If you want to save just think of that money

being your next campground fee or something and I guarantee you... cooking

will sound way more appetizing. Next is hustle hustle hustle and hustle some

more. Make some art, grow some veggies, basket-weave... whatever it is

that you do, do it and sell it. Really just side hustle whenever and wherever.

Number eight "spare change is your best friend" like save it all.

Every penny! No lie I once came up with $250USD in change

for a random plane ticket and it was amazing cuz I really felt like I wasn't

spending any money at all it was just change that I had been collecting for a

while. And you'd be surprised, there are lots of people who hate having to deal

with change so I've had co-workers kind of just pawn it off on me which is like...

hey you know, I'm not gonna complain. Money is money so yes please give me

your change. Nine is "technology downgrades" or really just down grades in

general. Now don't cry at the thought of this, but think about it- like do you

really need unlimited data or the most premium cable? Maybe get a cheaper plan

and use that money to take you places where TV and Internet don't even matter.

And I know that for instance for some people's jobs they do need unlimited

data to be able to use their personal hotspot or for a variety of different

things or if that's something that you feel really passionate about and you

don't want to give that up- totally understandable, but take a step back

analyze your life, and see if there is anything that you're paying for that you

could possibly downgrade. And the last thing would just be to "give yourself a

budget and set savings goals". For a whole month try writing down how much money

you spend and on what. At the end of it you'll get a really good overview as to

what you've been doing with your finances and be able to identify key

areas that you either want to cut back spending on or that you would easily be

able to. So that's that on my helpful tips for how to save money. And I know

that not all of these are going to be ideal for everyone, but hopefully you

found something that you can take away from it and again whether it's travel or

there's something else that you're saving up for never let money be the

determining factor on whether you achieve your goals. Money definitely

plays a role in our society and there are some things that you're gonna need

it for, but always remember that just because you're not rich that doesn't

mean you can't be successful. "Where there's a will there's a way" and you can

totally do this, it's just gonna take a little bit of work. Also that was just

some helpful advice on things that I personally did to be able to get my

savings to where I wanted it. If you are more on the travel side

and you're looking for jobs on the road I do have a video about that that I will

link in the description so be sure and check that out if that's something

you're interested in and with that I wish you guys the best and I will see you next time.

The best wlw shows & web series | Riley J. Dennis - Duration: 10:57.

Hey everybody!

So today I'm gonna be going over 20 of my favorite shows and web series that feature

women who like women.

That's what the wlw in the title stands for -- or women-loving women depending on who you ask.

Basically, this is a list of a bunch of really queer shows that you should watch if you're

a girl who likes girls.

I mean anybody can watch these, I just think it's really affirming to see yourself represented in a show.

Lesbian, bisexual, pansexual, queer -- however you identify, these shows are for you.

And they're roughly in order of my favorite to my least favorite -- but I hate saying

that I have a least favorite because I really like them all, and they're in so many different

genres and formats that can't really be compared.

So just because one show is a little higher on the list than another, that doesn't necessarily

mean I like it more.

This a very rough, broad ranking -- if that makes sense.

And I'll have all of these listed in the description along with where you can find

them streaming.

And fair warning, there aren't going to be any huge plot spoilers here, but there

may be some light spoilers just because you don't always know at the beginning of the

show who is queer -- so me just telling you who the queer characters are or who they have

a relationship with at some point, that might be a little bit of a spoiler.

But it's not a huge one, and it gives you a reason to watch the show.

Anyway! Let's get into the list.

First up is Sense8.

I'm sure you've seen Sense8 by now, but if you haven't, you really really need to.

It's a beautiful, powerful show filled with an amazing, diverse cast that tells stories

all over the world.

It's essentially about 8 people who are all connected to each other and can kind of

sense what the others are doing and help them out with it.

It's hard to explain but so so captivating.

Plus, there's Nomi and Amanita who are two queer girls in an amazing relationship.

And Nomi is trans -- which obviously I'm here for.

Sadly she's the only trans girl on this list, but she is fantastic and if you're

a trans girl who likes girls, like me, I think you need to watch Sense8.

I mean, everybody should watch Sense8, but where else are you gonna see such a positive

representation of a trans girl who likes girls?

Pretty much nowhere.

So next is One Day at a Time, which is a show that I love so much that I actually made a

whole video about it a while back when I first watched the series.

It's a Netflix original that just had its first season and has already been renewed

for a second season, which I'm so excited for.

It's basically a funny family sitcom about a Cuban-American family that also tackles

a lot of really important issues.

They have episodes covering PTSD, alcoholism, immigration, and a lot of other stuff.

Obviously, the storyline that's closest to my heart is Elena, the teenage daughter,

slowly coming out to her family over the later half of the season.

It's one of the best coming out stories I've ever seen on TV, and it will probably

make you cry, but it will also make you laugh a lot.

It's exactly what a sitcom should be.

Next is The Bold Type, which is a relatively new show with just one season, but it was

recently renewed for two more.

It follows three best friends in New York as they navigate life and their jobs at a

women's magazine called Scarlet.

One of those people, Kat, ends up falling for a girl named Adena who is a queer Muslim

woman -- and it's the most beautiful relationship and I love them so much. That kind of positive

queer Muslim representation is so necessary right now.

I just adore this show, and specifically Kat and Adena.

Next is Legends of Tomorrow, which is a goofy superhero show set in the DC universe.

What I love about it is that it doesn't take itself too seriously.

Like it knows that it has a ridiculous premise and is chock full of plotholes as they time

travel around the world trying to fix history -- but it leans into that and it's funny

and endearing and just an easy light show to watch.

Also, along with every other queer girl in existence, I'm in love with Sara Lance,

the white canary. She's such a badass.

She could punch me in the face, and I would love it.

I don't think they ever say the word in the show, but the actress who plays Sara has

said that the character is bisexual.

So if you wanna watch a bisexual spaceship captain superhero kick everyone's ass, this

is the show for you.

Speaking of bisexual spaceship captain badasses, there's also Two from Dark Matter.

Dark Matter is kinda similar to Legends of Tomorrow in that it's a team on a spaceship

flying around trying to solve problems.

The different is that they don't have superpowers, and the whole show is set up around the premise

that they all wake up on the ship without their memories.

So they number themselves off one through six based on the order they woke up, and then

they try to figure out what's going on and who they used to be.

Two takes control pretty much right away and is just the coolest character.

The whole show has a similar vibe to Legends of Tomorrow in that it doesn't take itself

very seriously, and parts of it can be completely weird and goofy, but it still has a place

very close to my heart.

Next is Black Mirror, and specifically the San Junipero episode.

Black Mirror as a series is a bunch of different unrelated episodes that are each about a different

kind of futuristic technology taken to its extreme.

I don't wanna go too in detail about that for San Junipero cause it'd probably give

away too much, but it's basically about two women, Yorkie and Kelly, falling in love

in a small town called San Junipero in 1987.

It's much happier than a lot of the other Black Mirror episodes, and it's really just

the sweetest story.

You have to watch it, if you haven't yet.

Next is the Thanksgiving episode in Master of None.

While most of the show is about Aziz Ansari, this episode is entirely about his friend

Denise -- played by Lena Waithe.

Lena had creative control over the episode and said it was based on a lot on her own

experience growing up as a gay Black woman.

It's a powerful episode, and just so real and well-done.

Lena actually became the first Black woman to win an Emmy for comedy writing for the episode.

Just go watch it -- it's so good.

Next is 195 Lewis, which is a web series about queer Black polyamorous love in Brooklyn.

It follows Yuri and Camille as they try to navigate their newly polyamorous relationship,

and it's subversive because it's really just about radical honesty.

It's not the usual lies and deceit that come into making the drama for a show.

It's a glimpse into that community, and also it's a look at how to navigate being brutally honesty.

Plus it's just beautifully shot, like every frame is gorgeous.

Please go check this show.

Next is Brown Girls, which is also a web series.

It follows two friends in Chicago as they navigate their lives and all the messiness

that comes with it.

Leila specifically is a queer Muslim girl who is just the cutest person on the planet

and is trying to make a living as a writer.

The whole show is just funny but also serious at times, and the dialogue in particular is

just really real and it makes the whole thing feel super genuine, and just like you're

hanging out with these friends as they go about their lives.

It's a must-watch, for sure.

It's also being turned into a full-on HBO show, which I am sooo excited for.

Next is All For One, which is a web series shot in a really unique way.

It's all from a single camera, so it's shot like you're looking out from the webcam,

but the thing that's unique about it is that the main character is always online video

chatting with her internet friends.

So you see their comments pop in at the bottom as you're watching, and it's the funniest thing.

It's basically about Dorothy trying to get into a sorority called Mu Sigma Theta, but

all the antics that go into that are hilarious, and plus, it's super queer.

So there you go.

Next is Barbelle, which is a web series that is still going on.

So as of right now, episodes are so still coming out on Mondays.

Which is annoying, because I want to watch it all right now, but it's worth the wait.

It stars Gwenlyn Cumyn, who also plays Dorothy in All For One, and Karen Knox -- they're

two lesbian pop stars who break up at the beginning of the show, but their contract

stipulates that they have to still be together, so they're basically just trying to navigate

being famous musicians faking a relationship together.

You know, normal stuff.

So far I've really been enjoying it and I think it's super funny.

Next is Carmilla, which I think is required watching for queer girls at this point.

It's about a lesbian vampire.

Like, why would you not watch that?

They also came out with a movie recently, but I haven't seen the movie yet, sadly.

The series itself though is all shot from a webcam point-of-view and is funny and over-the-top

-- and full of vampires and magic and battling evil creatures.

It's just a really fun story.

Next is Almost Adults, which is a movie -- so I'm cheating a little bit here -- but it

stars the same actresses from Carmilla -- Elise Bauman and Natasha Negovanlis

-- and it's just the cutest story about a girl coming out and navigating that with

her straight best friend, and I don't usually watch movies multiple times, but I think I

watched this at least like 10 times.

Idk, it just really got to me. I liked it a lot.

Next is Orange is the New Black -- which I'm sure you've heard of, but if you haven't

started it yet, you should.

It's full of queer women pretty much everywhere, but my favorite duo is Poussey and Soso.

That's about all I have to say about that, though, otherwise we might get into some spoilers.

It's not a perfect show by any means, but I liked it.

Next is the Legend of Korra, which is an animated show that is the sequel to Avatar: The Last Airbender.

It made history in 2014 when the series finale had the main character, Korra, walking off-screen

holding hands with Asami.

They then turn and face each other, like they're about to kiss, and then it's over.

Sadly, there was no on-screen kiss, but the creators quickly confirmed online that both

Korra and Asami were queer and they ended the series in a relationship together.

I remember watching it live and just crying because nobody had really expected that -- especially

in a kids show that aired on Nickelodeon -- and it was just the most amazing thing.

There's now an official graphic novel that follows their story after the end of the series,

and I got Part 1 as soon as it came out, and it is so gay.

It full-on addresses Korra's relationship with Asami and how she handles telling her

parents -- and it shows that at least one of the other characters in the series is queer too.

I just can't get over how much this show meant to me personally, and I'm so glad

that kids growing up today have this.

And top of the wonderful queerness, the Legend of Korra and Avatar: The Last Airbender are

both brilliant shows with fascinating characters and surprisingly deep storylines for a kids show.

Next is The 100, which I think is also legendary among queer girls.

There's even a whole convention called ClexaCon, which comes from the couple in The 100, Clarke and Lexa.

It's not all a happy story in The 100, there's been a lot of backlash for certain things,

and I have mixed feelings about it now, but I still like the show and I think that the

characters are important queer representation.

Next is Fresh Off The Boat, which really surprised me recently when one of the side characters

on the show came out as a gay.

Nicole is a high schooler who's friends with one of the main characters, and so she's

not in every episode, but the couple of episodes in season 4 where they address it are pretty good.

Next is Orphan Black, which I still haven't completely caught up on, because it's a

really complex show and there's a lot going on, but Delphine and Cosima have a relationship

-- and that's really all I can say about it.

Plus, Tatiana Maslany is just a phenomenal actress who plays all of these different characters

who are so unique, you forget she's playing them all.

Next is the Shannara Chronicles, which is a cheesy kinda-too-serious fantasy story

about a pretty boring half-elf named Will -- but if you ignore him, and just pay attention

to Eretria, then the series is amazing.

I don't remember them saying "bisexual" in the show, but I'm pretty sure the creators

have confirmed that she's bi.

Either way, she likes girls, and it's great, and she's gorgeous and badass and the best

character on that show.

She even has a girlfriend in season 2, who I'm also definitely in love with.

And last is Supergirl, which has a lot of problems and isn't the greatest show in

the world, but it's trying, and there's a relationship between Maggie and Alex that

I think is good for young queer girls to see.

But they're ignoring the obvious chemistry between Supergirl and Lena Luthor, and I'm

never gonna forgive them for that.

Anyway, that is all of the shows and web series and one movie that I had for you today.

Hopefully there was at least something on here you haven't seen yet, and now you can

go watch some more shows with queer girls.

What could be better than that?

Obviously, this wasn't an exhaustive list, so I'd love to get your recommendations

in the comments below.

And before everyone starts commenting about the L-Word, obviously I know about the L-Word,

and I know it was a very formative show for a lot of people, but I watched the first season

and couldn't really get into it. I'm sorry.

But I would love to here about any other shows or web series that feature women who like women.

As usual, if you would like to help me continue making videos, you can check out my Patreon

Thanks so much for watching, and I'll see you next time.

VEDUS Day 22 (Eclipse, Verily A New Hope COMPLETE) - Duration: 2:53.

Hey everybody, welcome back to Tanner's Books and Beyond and day 22 of VEDUS!

We are four plays in and I am shocked that I have been going this long and I haven't

completely lost my mind.

Yes, today I was able to finish Verily, A New Hope.

I'm gonna post the full review of that on Goodreads as per usual, but I'll give you

guys some small details that won't make it into the review just in the general sense

of Act V.

First off, it starts with a really great dual monologue scene between Luke and Leia where

they're both in separate parts of the stage and both giving their own monologues and not

interacting, but the monologues mirror each other and offer a great point-counterpoint

of how their characters differ, but also how they connect to each other, which of course

makes sense because they're Skywalkers.

Second, I'm pretty sure Doescher does a pretty good job at describing the Death Star battle

at the end, but I'm only guessing that because I'm imagining how it would look when it was staged.

Reading it was a bit of a mess just because all the other pilots are referred to by their

callsigns, so it's Red This, Red That; it all kind of blends together and makes a mess,

but I'm sure if it was actually onstage and performed it would work a lot better.

And third, when one of the officers on the Death Star tries to help Tarkin escape because

he thinks the rebels might be able to destroy it, he says he's doing it because he's...in

love...with...Tarkin...'kay?

Overall, I think the play gets 3.5 stars.

It was good and I liked it, but this was Doescher's first foray into the Shakespearification of

Star Wars, so obviously he was still trying to figure a few things out, and I know he

gets to a really good spot by the end of the prequel trilogy, but this one was just kind

of lacklustre compared to the quality of the previous books.

Of course that means that I can see the quality go way up as I go on to Empire Strikes Back,

Return of the Jedi, and Force Awakens.

Now for Certain Point of View, today's story was "Eclipse" by Madeleine Roux, and it is

about the destruction of Alderaan...from the perspective of the Organas...who are still

on Alderaan when it's destroyed.

Listen...words cannot do this story justice, it is...too good...it is just too - damn - powerful.

It ripped my heart out all throughout because it's able to introduce these characters that

we don't know a lot about and make them fully fleshed just in time for us to know that they're

not gonna make it off the planet in time, and it's just *deep breath* I can't - that's

the most detail I can go in to!

It's so good!

It's five stars!

It's the best one!

You could buy this book just for that story! *another breath* Damn son!

I actually made a really smart choice because I read "Eclipse" before I finished off

Verily, A New Hope, and so after seeing the destruction of Alderaan I was able to see everyone avenge Alderaan.

That's another thing about the play is that they specifically say at several points that

they're avenging the millions of people who died on Alderaan and I can really dig that.

And that concludes today's VEDUS update, and you guys know the drill: I've got the social

media, I've got the subscribe button, you can check me out, it's lit.

I'm gonna keep Vlogging Every Day Until Star Wars or until I die of exhaustion,

and until tomorrow I'll see you all *snap* later!

*funky music*
