Waching daily Nov 4 2017

this project is going to be a candy cane I will be using a pipe cleaner two

colors of four ply yarn a size i 5.5 millimeter crochet hook we will start by

making a chain of 50 I want to attach a slip knot to the crochet hook take the

loose end wrap it over the main strand now you have a loop take your loop fold

it over the main strand put your hook below back up the opposite side this

creates the slip knot now we want to work a chain of 50 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10

11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 continue on until

you have made a chain of 50 we will have a chain of 50 with both colors I went on

ahead and made the second chain in white I have one in white one in red now in

the second chain from the hook I am going to work three single crochet I

will continue working three single crochet in each chain across and it is

not important to worry about the count

three now you can see that the chain and the single crochet are starting to curl

around and this is what they are supposed to do one two three one two

three one two three you'll do the same thing with the second color working

three single crochet in each chain across one two three one two three

one two three one two three one two three now this one is starting to curl -

you will continue to the opposite side working three single crochet in each

chain across complete both chains this is the progress I have made with each

section and they're just looping around well straighten them up a little bit

later I'm about two-thirds of the way through and I have a little bit more

chain on each segment and I'm going to continue working three single crochet in

each chain one two three next chain one two three next chain one two three next

chain one two three

I have finished both curlicue segments you may find that they're a little

crooked so what you will do is start down here at the end you will continue

winding them around from one end to the other until they are all going in the

same direction you will do that with both of them at this point we will cut

the yarn wrap the yarn over the hook pull it through

now cut give it a tug you'll do the same thing with the other section I'll wrap

the yarn over pull it through give it a tug at this point I'm going to leave the

tails and sew them a little bit later we want to align the two sections together

so I'm going to start slowly because they could end up turning into a big

mess if we go too fast but I want to wind them around each other

and then twisting them together every so often continue winding the two sections

together I have the two pieces together you may find that you have one color a

little bit longer than the other grab a hold of both ends and then give it a tug

like that and it will even the sections across each other kind of easing them in

place like that I'm going to take my pipe cleaner and place it in here and

start winding it through the center

you may find that you will have some extra pipe cleaner so you will need some

really sharp scissors or some metal cutters to cut the extra pipe cleaner

off

continue twisting the pipe cleaner through the center of your curlicue and

I'm twisting it around up here so it stays in place

now I'm adjusting and tightening the curlicues around the pipe cleaner

depending on how you twist your segments together you may find that one end does

not have any leftover tails you may need to secure and attach a six-inch strand

of yarn this will be for sewing the two ends together and keeping them in place

I want to tack the two sections together so it will not come apart and then not

insecure

you will only need to do this a couple of times and then hide the yarn through

the stitches

cut off the extra tail now this other end is where all the tails are at so

we'll have plenty to sew the ends together then we'll need to hide the

rest of them I am hiding this first tail by weaving it between the stitches

now I am stitching the two hands together and this is on the opposite

side

you will sew in the remaining tails now I'm going to cut off the rest of the

pipe cleaner like that now I have some little pliers and I'm going to take and

turn it around push the pipe cleaner between the stitches this is to keep the

end in place and everything secure

now I gave it a little tug from the opposite side that has that insecure now

I'll do the same thing on this end and I'm going to flip it over and then push

the end between the stitches

then now we can shape it into a candy cane

The Dark Side of Being an Empath That You Rarely See

Empaths are typically known as the healers of the world.

They're the people whose senses are heightened, the ones that not only see the different energies

of the world, but actually feel them, experience them.

Those who are not empaths might think that this ability to feel what others feel is a

gift, but if you can convince an empath to talk about their gift,

they might tell you that it's not always sunshine and rainbows.

In fact, it's quite often not a very fun gift to possess at all.

Because of their gift, so many people rely on them for support.

Empaths are almost always trusted because they make people feel safe.

And while the empath is capable of handling the emotions of others, they also experience

quite a bit of stress because of it.

The dark side of being an empath comes in the form of having two conflicting voices

constantly roaring at each other inside of their heads.

Constantly feeling both the good and the bad, the negative and the positive, to the point

that they feel overwhelmed.

Empaths are more susceptible to the negative energies in life.

Their intense ability to feel can't get away from the deep-rooted evils that exist

in the world.

Their deep understanding of how the world exists and operates is enough to confuse and

sadden them.

What they can't understand is why this type of energy exists in the first place, if all

it does is hurt others.

The dark side of being an empath is constantly being exhausted and fatigued from the energies

you absorb.

But, you'd never know it.

Because the empath never dares break down or lose composure.

They quietly observe, acknowledge and feel.

As many others do, empaths want to be loved and accepted for who they are.

But, it is their generosity and kindness that often sees them being taken advantage of by

those who only take, never give.

Empaths are 'givers' by all means, ready to show kindness to those in need at all times.

The dark side of being an empath is not knowing that being so selfless places an incredibly

heavy burden on one's self.

Even the empaths that do recognize the burdensome nature of their selflessness often choose

to ignore it, because carrying that weight is more meaningful

than letting it fall on someone else's shoulders.

The dark side of being an empath is knowing that you willingly neglect both your body

and mind for the sake of others.

A neglect that builds over the years, eventually resulting in the need to go soul, searching

once again, a practice that we only take up when we feel completely lost.

The dark side of being an empath is knowing that even when they fall in love, they never

do so entirely.

They simply aren't capable of giving every ounce of their heart to someone else.

They know that if they tried, the intensity of the passion would most likely be too much

to handle, for themselves and their partners.

Which is why they always keep a little part of them hidden away from the rest of the world.

They keep a guard up out of necessity, even if they want nothing more than to let it down

and succumb to an overwhelming love.

The dark side of being an empath is the war that is always being waged within.

The war they wage against the sadness, the darkness, and the sorrowful side of themselves

that is always trying to rear its ugly head and lead them into self-destruction.

The only way they can fight this successfully is by learning to distinguish between emotions

that are their own, and emotional energies that are imposters,

invading from the outside.

Empaths need people who understand who they are, people they can talk to and who will

listen.

Empaths need to be able to let down the wall they've built up around their feelings so

that they can let their empathic selves do good in their own life.

Otherwise, empaths are destined to fight a war within themselves that never ends.

your domain is registered with a third-party registrar,

can be added to your hosting account, otherwise, you will

How to Make Crochet knit Epic Team Hat Black White English Subtitles Translations - Duration: 17:41.

this tutorial is going to be a thick crochet hat made with the front post and

back post double crochet please remember to rate the video share and subscribe I

will be using a size k six point five millimeter crochet hook and four ply

yarn we will start by attaching a slip knot to the crochet hook take the loose

end wrap it over the main strand now you have a loop take the loop wrap it over

the main strand put your hook below the center strand back up the opposite side

this creates the slip knot work a chain six one two three four five six join

with the beginning chain joining us putting your hook through the very first

chain wrap the yarn over pull through pull through the loop on the hook we

have joined the chain into a ring I will be using a chain one at the start of

each round this is the step up and will not count as a stitch work 15 double

crochet right through the center of the ring that's 1 and I'm putting my hook

right through picking up on the back side 2 3

four five six seven eight

9 10 11 12 13 14

fifteen we will join with the beginning stitch and this is putting your hook

below the two loops at the top of the first stitch wrap the yarn over pull

through pull through the loop on the hook we have 15 double crochet on round

one you can modify the size at this point if you want to work more stitches

or less stitches and we're moving on to round two we will be working a front

post and back post double crochet around each stitch working the chain one which

is the step up we are starting with the back post double crochet and then

putting the hook from the back around to the front and I am working right around

the chain one and everything will all blend in working the first double

crochet now I'm working a front post double crochet around the same stitch

and this is what it looks like you can see there's a stitch here on the back

and then one on the front around the same stitch I'm putting my hook between

the stitch I just worked on from the back to the front to the back this is

what it looks like and now I'm working around the same post from the front to

the back to the front working a double crochet and we're moving on to the next

stitch going from the back to the front around the post to the back now we're

working around the same stitch from the front to the back to the front working a

double crochet we have completed six post stitches three of them are back

post three of them are front post stitches we will have a total of 30 upon

completion

a total of 30 stitches 15 front post double crochet 15 back post double

crochet now we're starting around 3 working a chain one starting with the

back post double crochet and working right around the stitch and the chain 1

they both blend in now I'm going to work a front post double crochet we will be

doing the same thing this is our increase rounds we do all of our

increase rounds in the first three rounds of this hat now I'm doing a back

post double crochet and a front post double crochet back post double crochet

front post double crochet around the same stitch back post double crochet

next stitch front post double crochet the same stitch we will have a total of

60 stitches on round 3 there will be 30 back post double crochet 30 front post

double crochet we're repeating the same thing we did on round 2 working increase

stitches continue around to the beginning I'm working on the very last

stitch here we are going to join through the top of the very first stitch wrap

the yarn over pull through pull through the loop on the hook and this is what we

have completed and it is a little bit wavy at this point and this is how it

should be looking I'm going to change color wrap the yarn over pull through

and then cut the yarn pull through give it a tug we will not be doing any more

increasing however we will be changing color several times from here on out

each stitch is going to be individual and I'm going to attach over here in a

in place it does not have to be attached where we ended when you attach in the

same place where you end the yard may build up at a later time when we sew in

the tails so I like to go on around and attach in a different place I am putting

my hook below the stitch on the back side wrapping the yarn over and pulling

it through I am not making any knots at this time I am going to do a chain one

which is my step up I am working a back post double crochet a front post double

crochet a back post double crochet front post double crochet back post double

crochet you will continue around for three rounds with this color working

front post double crochet and then a back post double crochet

I'm finishing the last stitch on round six joining with the beginning double

crochet wrap the yarn over pull through we're going to change color this is what

the cap looks like at this point it is laying flat the sides will start to form

over the next few rounds I am going to attach this color again and I'm going

around here in a different place and I'm putting my hook around the back post

wrap the yarn over pull through I am not making any knots at this time wrap the

yarn over pull through this is the step up and we will continue as we did with

the previous rounds working a back post double crochet front post double crochet

four three more rounds and then we will change color again we will have a total

of five bands of different colors there will be three rounds in each band the

final band will be gray worked with six rounds

we have completed 15 rounds now I'm going to attach the gray yarn and I'm

doing it the same way putting my hook around the back post looping it over

pull through wrap the yarn over pull through now I'm going to work six rounds

of that post and front post double crochet and then that will complete the

Hat

I am completing the last stitch on the cap join with the beginning stitch wrap

the yarn over pull through pull through the loop on the hook wrap the yarn over

pull through I've already cut the yarn and this is what the cap looks like this

is the front and the back is identical so you could reverse the cap either

direction and they're going to be the same this is a little flaw in the yarn

so it is on the inside I'm not sure what I will do with that yet but right now

it's on the inside of the cap there will be quite a few tails to sew in now you

want to make sure you knot and secure them really well so I'm going to make a

little knot right here and I'm going to run my needle between the stitches in

this direction and then I'm going to split the yarn I'm going to take one of

the strands that I split and loop it through like that and then make a knot

make a second knot

I'm going to thread my needle again

and then weave it between the stitches like this I'm going to go down here a

little bit like this I'm going to pull it back like this and then make a knot

and secure the yarn and then pull it between the threads like that so the

knot is hidden away and then cut off the extra tail and that completes the Hat
