Hello, I'm Adrian. I'm the Head of Driver Growth and Performance or DRONE, which is a part of Business Intelligence at GO-JEK.

What is Business Intelligence?

Business Intelligence is a function in business who collects data, process it, manages it, in order to make it into a useful information and insight for business users in making the right strategic decisions.

What is the difference between business intelligence and data science?

What is the difference between business intelligence and science data?

Actually business intelligence with data science is something similar, both do data analysis, we do visualization, we also do mathematical and statistical calculations.

But the basic difference is in the focus of its own analysis. While BI (Business Inteligence) is a function that analyzes retrospectively, Science Data is more predictive.

The analogy of the differences between Business Intelligence and Data Science can be illustrated in cases such as coming to the office late.

When the incident happened, we went, "Oh! I came late to the office" what BI does is doing to find out why we came late to the office.

So we assess what path we take yesterday so that we come late, what transportation we use yesterday so we are late to come to the office.

So in the future we can improve ourselves to not be late again.

While if Data Science will help us before we leave for office, it's like choosing the right transport, the right way.

For example there is a transportation capital that we can use like a motor or a car, with Data Science we can know when we have to use the car,

because it will rain and we should choose the path B because today the road was not jammed.

How Business Intelligence Works at GO-JEK?

BI in GO-JEK there are some parts that take care of business functions

such as BI for operations, for drivers, for customers, for products like GO-PAY, GO-MART, and others.

There is also BI core to ensure that the BI infrastructure is running well,

so they handle all the process to be streamlined, so that the data is always right, and also the report is out at the right time.

For example for my team, Driver Growth and Performance,

let's say we have business questions like, how many offers do we need to serve next month's demand.

We will look at historical data such as how many customers we have in the previous month, how many orders they made,

how also from these drivers, whether they are online for a week or a whole month.

From these data, we do the processing, we calculate, so that in the end we can feel the many supplies we need for each city and time.

How to be good at business intelligence?

The principles that we must have to be a good business intelligence,

the first is to ask the right business questions.

So we have to know what the right questions to solve a problem,

because without proper business questions,

we do not have the right answer to the problems we find in business.

The second principle is knowing how to get the correct and relevant data.

So first we already know what business questions we have to answer,

we also have to know how to get the relevant data with the business question

so later at the end we can process it and be the right answer as well.

The third principle is to treat analytics products as products.

So we have to treat the results of our analysis of the information we generate or the insights to be used easily by the user

In which the users are the various business functions that exist within the company.

So that they can use it to make better strategic decisions.

The fourth principle is make the whole process streamline and scaleable.

So in this BI process from start to finish, from data retrieval, storage, processing,

we must make sure that the process is streamlined, all smooth.

So that we can produce the end result of information and insight for business needs at the right time as well.

So if there is a question of business, "why does something 'A' happen?", We immediately have the answer.

What Should A Business Intelligence Have?

So a BI must have three basic skills.

There's business skills, so it's about business, so how does a business work as well as parts of its own business.

The second is basic knowledge of mathematics and statistics, as we deal with data and facts.

We must know how to process it scientifically (scientific).

The third is technical ability, because we are also in processing this data using technology.

Many things we also do with programming, so we must also have a good programming basics.

Where Can You Learn More About Business Intelligence?

To learn the necessary things as a BI, many resources can be addressed.

Like articles, books that we can search on the internet, as well as online courses either paid or free.

Because BI is also a lot of wrestling with the data by producing good information,

may be interesting also for us to read Moneyball, a book written by Michael Lewis.

This book tells about how from the data and stats of a baseball club player,

a baseball club can determine which players can be bought and which players can use for the game.

Apart from the books we can also find interesting articles or blogs on the Internet

about Business Intelligence or data in general.

One of the blogs I recommend to go is GO-JEK Data Blog (https://medium.com/@gojek_bi)

there contains insights generated by Business Intelligence at GO-JEK.

Alien: Lambert's Violation - Theory - Duration: 9:51.

One of the most unnerving moments in Ridley Scott's Alien is the final scene of Lambert,

played by Veronica Cartwright, who is paralyzed by fear as the alien monster advances toward

her, wraps its tail around her leg, and she lets out a scream, and the film cuts away

to Ripley running through the corridors, hearing her blood-curdling screams.

Ripley, is unfortunately to late to save her friends, and she discovers their dead bodies.

Parker is seen disembowled on the floor, and we see a glimpse of her bear, bloodied legs,

as she appears to be hanging from somewhere, possibly a hook.

This moment is all the more horrifying based on what we don't see, and what's left to our

imaginations.

But there has been some debate about what exactly happened to Lambert offscreen.

Was she torn apart by the alien in a gruesome fashion, or did the alien also violate Lambert?

Many believe this to be the case, and that it fits well within the nightmarish sexual

nature of HR Giger's art, and the already existing themes of violation in the film.

Kane is, in essence, raped by the facehugger, which result's in the Xenomorph's birth, but

in order for the species to survive, it would need to procreate somehow.

It was in frantic survival mode, it seems, even as seen in the Director's Cut of the

film, it had secreted the makings of its own coccoon, and appeared to be in the process

of somehow transforming them into eggs.

Both those victims male, of course, along with Parker, but Lambert was something new

to the creature.

A female.

The alien seems, almost, fascinated by her, and it could very well be that it's studying

her as a sexual, reproductive prospect.

This seems even more emphasized in scenes deleted, now infamously known as the "Crab

Walk" scene, the alien eerily stares down lambert, then on all fours, with its tail

protruding forward in a pretty suggestive manner, makes its way toward her.

If some kind of violation, or attempt at one took place, then it would certainly account

for her missing pants later on.

But whether this all purely interpretation, or if it was intended to be taken that way,

is harder to say, and it may depend entirely on who you ask.

One of the biggest challenges faced with Alien's production was Lambert's death scene.

With each revision of the script, Lambert seemed to have an entirely different death.

In one draft, the alien decapitates her by twisting her head off with its hands.

In another, she is accidentally set on fire by Parker in an attempt to blast the alien

with the flame unit.

As production continued and the budget became more scarce, it was still not the more clear

what exactly Lambert's death would be, right up to shooting the actual scene.

Veronica Cartwright maintains that the planned upon version of her death scene was that Lambert

would hide inside a locker, and literally die of fright because of the alien.

Cartwright has also maintained that many things were filmed for the scene that never saw the

light of day.

It's possible another version of the scene in which the alien descends from and airduct

and tries to pull her up into the duct, but Parker intervenes, and is then killed by the

alien as he is in the film.

The struggle could have caused the loss of her pants, and she could be hanging from the

duct in the scene.

Possibly, whatever they filmed just wasn't working right and the death as it's portrayed

in the final film is the result of reconstructing the scene in editing.

It's well known that the shot of the tail moving up lambert's legs isn't actually a

shot of Veronica Cartwright's legs, but it was footage left out of Brett's death scene,

seamlessly edited in to this different scene.

Since this concept of possible sexual violation was created purely in the editing process

of the film, there's nothing in any versions of the script, or in the novelization to support

the theory.

Though, Ridley Scott himself has commented on the scene, and his beliefs are very much

in line with the idea of the alien as a creature that is trying to reproduce.

In the 2003 commentary of the film, Scott expresses the following:

"We didn't know how she died but the implication was that there was a kind of a sexuality to

this androgynous, male/female, who could give birth itself, but it could also impregnate.

Was that some dreadful ending?

Was that some terrible invasion of her body?

A rape?

And therefore, would there be a version of the Cartwright character?

Certainly there'd be more humanoid aliens on this craft now, and that's what she's now

got to destroy."

The possibility of alien lifeforms gestating as a result of human sexual intercourse would

be something Scott explored further in Prometheus, with Holloway, infected and mutated by the

black goo, impregnates Dr. Shaw with the makings of what became the trilobyte creature.

All the more curious of an event knowing that Dr. Shaw, in an earlier scene, reveals that

she's unable to carry children.

The properties of the goo wouldn't exactly follow the natural order of things.

Though, the mystery of what exactly the alien may have been attempting to do to Lambert

remains offscreen.

An interesting note about the Lambert Character, however, is that her Weyland Yutani Dossier,

viewable as a special feature from the 2003 DVD release of Alien, reveals that she went

through a gender re-assignment.

The Dossier reveals the following: "Subject is Despin Convert at birth (male

to female).

So far no indication of suppressed traumas related to gender alteration."

This piece of information has been shared quite a bit since it was originally released,

and while on its surface may just be an interesting peice of character trivia, perhaps it holds

a clue to Lambert's fate.

If the Alien on the Nostromo was in this desperate mode of survival, needing to mate, and needing

to procreate, and up until Lambert, only encountering males, then maybe its fascination with her,

was indeed, as a prospective mate, and while the facehugger parasite can inseminate indescriminately,

perhaps only a female, with a female reproductive system could suffice for procreation through

sexual contact.

The Alien may very well have had more gruesome and unthinkable intentions with Lambert, but

possibly in recognizing the lack of necessary reproductive systems, could no longer go on

with those intentions, killing her, and leaving her body along with Parker.

And, of course, searching for its next prospect, in Ripley.

Themes of rape and violation have always been prevelant in the Alien series.

From the very nature of the Alien itself, assaulting and impregnating its host to survive,

to scenes such as Ash suggestively probing Ripley with a rolled up magazine, or David,

and the suggestion that he violated Shaw in some way, and threatened to do the same to

Daniels.

In Alien 3, Ripley even finds herself on a planet entirely occupied by convicted rapists,

with whom she must reluctantly ally in order to defeat the threat of the Alien.

Ripley even makes the inference herself, in a conversation with Dillon regarding the queen

embryo inside her, in the Assembly Cut version of the film.

"It must have happened when I was in hypersleep.

When I was violated."

In the novelization of the film, Ripley expands on this thought.

While I was in deep sleep, I guess the horrible dream I had wasn't exactly a dream.

I got raped, though I don't know if that's a wholly accurate term.

Rape is an act of premeditated violence.

This was an act of procreation, even if my participation wasn't voluntary.

We would call it rape, but I dout that creature would.

It would probably find the concept...well, alien."

If the unseen encounter between the Alien and Lambert, was, in fact, what Ridley Scott

suggests it is, then it wouldn't seem especially out of place in the series.

Though we never see it, the implication seems to be intended, at least, according to Scott.

One thing is certain, though, Lambert's bonechilling screams heard offscreen leave what's happening

to our imaginations, which can fill the blanks in a more disturbing and horrifying way than

anything that could have been actually shown.

What do you think happened to Lambert?

Was it limited to a gruesome, violent, offscreen death, or was something else going on?

How to configure DHCP Server on Smartphone | Configure DHCP without Server, HUB, Switch and Router - Duration: 4:34.

Guys are you too want to configure DHCP at your Home but you don't have a router or windows server

Then still you have one option with the help of that you can easily configure DHCP at your home.

Hello friends, this is Abhishek here and welcome back to my channel TECHNICAL TECH

In my today's video, am going to show you

How to configure DHCP

Configure Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol on your smartphone

So that your smartphone can provide IP Address to all the devices connected to it

In my previous video, I have explained you about

What is DHCP and How it works in a computer network

If you have not yet watch that video, I will highly recommend you to watch that video too

Video Link is given in the description section below.

Now, let's find out. How to configure DHCP server on Smartphone

Now a days, most of the smartphone coming with an inbuilt feature called hotspot

With the help of hotspot, you can easily share internet to the near by devices

But, have you even think how these devices are able to access internet from your smartphone

This is because

Via hotspot, your smartphone provides IP Address to all the connected devices.

All the devices get connected to your smartphone hotspot

They can easily share files, print documents, play online games, etc.

Now, let me show you live example

How this DHCP concepts works

First step, turn on hotspot of any single smartphone available with you

Step 2: Connect all the devices to this particular hotspot.

So that they can communicate with each other.

This is my laptop, at present it is not connected to any network

My hotspot name is TECHNICAL TECH

Now, am going to connect to my smartphone's hotspot, "Technical Tech"

So my laptop has been successfully get connected to hotspot

Now, let's check whether we are able to get IP Address or not.

If I enter, ipconfig (command to check ip address)

As here you can see, it is showing you the IP Address

and I am getting this IP Address from smartphone.

What is the work of DHCP Server

The main work of DHCP server is to provide IP Address to the clients

Right now, we are getting IP Address directly from our smartphone.

This is how, your smartphone act as a DHCP Server

Removing Crankset: Converting to 1X Drivetrain (Part 1) - Duration: 3:22.

Ease of use and maintenance along with weight loss are enough reasons to switch to a one

by drivetrain.

I wanted to get the taste of a 1X without costing me an arm or a leg.

Thus i got myself the Motguv chainring, IXF crankset, Zitto cassette, umm... a hollow

tech hub who's name i can't really pronounce and the KMC chain.

The whole conversion cost me a little over a 100USD.

The entire installation process is going to take a lot of time, so I'm going to split

it into three videos.

In this one, I'll be covering the crank and the hub removal.

Firstly, remove your chain for easy access to your hub and chainring.

Ummm... and kinda try to use the actual chain tool.

Like this one.

And not the flimsy ones that come with your multitool kit.

Look what happened to mine!

Drive the rivet out of the chain and keep the chain aside.

Using and 8mm allen key, remove

the bolts on either ends of the crank.

I have a square tapered bottom bracket.

These usually require a crank removal tool to... well the name speaks for itself.

Screw it into the crank.

Hold the end closer to the crank with a spanner and rotate the other end clockwise.

This ain't as easy as they make it look on the internet.

Here's an unorthodox technique you can use if your crank wont

budge.

Take your trusty metal pipe, or a piece of wood and prop it up against your bike frame

and a grill or a wall, making sure your crank arm stays in place.

Now using a heavy boot, apply all your weight on the spanner away from the crank arm.

Keep this up and the bugger should come loose in no time.

To remove the bb, you'll need a tool like this.

Don't worry I'll link all the tools i have used in the video description below.

Anyways, rotate clockwise for the drive side and anti-clockwise for the non-drive side.

I'm gonna use a little bit of WD-40 to clean the insides.

Use a citrus degreased if you can.

I don't have that, okay?

Quit complaining in the comments!

Didn't mean to yell.

I love you.

Please don't go away.

Nothing feels better than removing the front derailleur and finally being able to clean

that unreachable dirt hiding behind it.

There you go!

Now you have successfully removed the crank and the hub.

Tune in next week as i install a new hub and crankset.

Before I end this video, I'd like to thank you guys for thr 100 subs.

All of your subscription is highly appreciated and encourages me to deliver better content

to you.

If you are new to the channel do subscribe and also like and share this video if you

found it helpful.

As always, I'm Rakin from Everything MTB and I'll see you next week!
