How to Make Beautiful Felt Valentine's Roses / Happy Valentines day to all our friends & supporters - Duration: 9:22.

How to Make Beautiful Felt Valentine's Roses / Happy Valentines day to all our friends & supporters

Hello and welcome my name is Darren Burch and thank you for being here

now today I'm going to show you how to make a rose now I've chosen red because

Today is Valentine's Day here in Turkey on the 14th of February you can

choose whatever color you would like to do your rose but I'm choosing red today

now the first thing you'll need the good pair of scissors a marker pen now I'm

just using a black pen but you can use talked glue stick a piece of wire you

can use a stick if you want to like a kebab stick but this is wire that I

bought from a hardware store and it's about 30 centimetres long and a glue gun

you won't be needing the tape and it's got that resting on there now the felt

the green felt is four centimeters long by five centimeters high and it's cut

into this shape these are going to be the leaves of the rose this is a cup

that I've made it's actually a square five by five centimeters and I rounded

off the corners and put a slip through it and then folded it over and glued it

and made this cup almost like a Chinese head I'll show you how to do that and

we've got two strips this is to go around the wire or your stem and that is

1.5 centimeters by 30 centimeters long these are the petals of your rose this

family is four of them there and they all going to be cut like this and this

is eight centimeters long by six centimeters high and this is the next

part of the petals of your rose and that is five centimeters by five centimeters

cut in that shape and there's six pieces 1 2 3 4 5 6

you missing a piece and you need a more strip of red let's get that over here

piece of strip there is two centimeters by 30 centimeters and that's to make the

head of the rose so let me show you how to make a rose and thank you for being

here I actually forgot to tell you when you do your head of the rose yeah

make sure to put some glue down here this will strengthen the rose up and

then it dry so what you do now is you have your five centimeter by 5

centimeter as you can see a half cut or the tops like that but the first thing I

do is I grab one of the pieces and I'll glue the bottom edges on there here like

that

the next thing you gotta do is you get your 50 by 50 millimeters or 5

centimeters plus privacy - and you cut the cornice this circle be perfect

next thing you got to do is we're going to wrap the felt around the stem of this

wet

the next stage is we're gonna cook the larger petals around bottom okay so

these are the ones larger and they are 80 millimeters long 16 millimeters high

or 8 centimeters by 6 centimeters and I'll just cut a squiggly line on the top

now at the beginning of the video I did mention glue stick but I would advise

you to get more than one glue stick just in case you run out and you aren't able

to complete making your roses I've rounded the corners off the gear just

had to strengthen and I've added some glue around here strengthen the bottom

of the rose alright so let's get onto the next part okay the next part is to

wrap these guys these leaves around the rose alright so you can use three or two

doesn't really matter alright so it's up to you so what you do is you glue one

side first and glue the center this place it just underneath the rose now

hold that side and ran it round just hold it there the reason why I have them

glued the other side is because if I press down it will ooze the glue out

onto your hands and it's very hot and you'll burn your hands now we all need

to glue the other side we'll just follow that around

just realize about all this extra piece of felt lying around so I'm going to

turn them into the leaves they say cut into a leaf

so here the roses

Wow look at that everlasting prizes no need for water no they want me this

spray you see Oh spray putting on your body so I put all the flowers step three

now they smell like roses

thank you very much for watching

you

Amazing, absolutely brilliant!

Got transported to another world listening to him! He was fantastic!

I can see he's passioned in music. He's not just playing piano, he's performing.

He connects with the audience on a personal level.

It was fantastic, I wish I could play the piano like him!

It was great to be Hungarian this evening. I enjoyed it very much.

It's a very unusual mixture of classical skill and modern.

He is amazing because he's a brilliant composer, extraordinary performer,

I mean... one of the greatest pianists in our time!

USING GRADIENTS ON LOGO DESIGNS? - Duration: 5:58.

at the risk of starting a graphic design war today we're going to be looking at

gradients in Logo design and if they're useful or not and what kind of problems

you might encounter when these ingredients for your Lego designs what

is up people it's Thomas and Tory graphics back in another graphic design

tips video today we're looking at gradients in logo design and if they're

useful or not for you to use for your logo designs also move a bit your

sponsoring today's video which is a video editing software and I'm going to

be showing you guys how to use me Bobby later in today's video now this is a

topic that can cause a huge amount of division I'm not sure why because if you

do I see understand gradients and how they're using the logo design you

understand they have a time and a place and you're not falling to one extreme of

the two differing opinions now in more recent years logo designers move more

towards flats and bold colors that seems to be the trend at the moment and it's

quite interesting because in today's world printing technology has improved a

lot and there's no better time to use gradients in your designs than now but

the use of gradients in logo design has dropped off as printing technology has

gone up which is quite funny I find liquor designs used to be literally

branded symbols or stamps hence the term branding as in branding into Kowski and

as farmers often do back then the printed ology was very very crude indeed

and to print a gradient was very difficult and often resulting in banded

areas across the entire gradient

now of course if you're designing a logo you want to keep in mind where the Legos

going to be used what if that company that you're designing a logo for really

hits it big time and they need the logo on say some embroidery design or carved

into stone marble you can exactly carve a gradient into state marble and if you

can then you must be some kind of wizard or something so what do you do if you

want to use a gradient on your local design what are the solutions

well first and foremost the most important thing to do is to create two

versions of the logo design now this is quite common if you look closely at

brands existing today you should always start by creating the flat bold logo

design and then create a version with the gradient as well explain this to the

client and explain why you're doing this you should always explain to your

clients why you're doing something so that they have trust in what you're

doing and they don't make errors when using a logo for their business solo for

example if you look at BMW they have a really flat local design which you see

on their cars because you can't really print a gradient onto a symbolic R but

you're also going to see the logo in a gradient version on print media so ya

always have two versions of the logo if you're going to use gradient the second

thing you can do if you want to use a gradient for your logo design is to make

sure the gradient is relevant to the brand or the glamour

if the area of business that they operate in doesn't really relate to a

gradient design don't use it for the sake of it everything in your local

design needs to be relevant to the brand and the client and lastly if you're

going to use a grade on the local design make sure it looks professional you

don't want it to be too overpowering and you don't want the focal point of the

logo to be the gradient the main pole of the mean grab of the logo design

shouldn't be your rainbow gradient across the entire design so yeah

gradient still have the time in the place but you need to be really careful

when choosing the gradient also if you do use a grid on the logo make sure you

test print it before sending it to the client so there's no banding issues on

the printer also you do want to explain to the client that they need to test

print their logo as well now I'm going to show you with a video editor who are

sponsoring today's video it's a really cool way to edit your videos and easy to

use manner there's a link in description below if you want to check out Mugabi

and download it for yourself so right off the bat you notice how

user-friendly the user face will move RB actually is at the bottom you can see a

video size as well as the framerate something you can actually adjust when

making a new project to add media such as images of video to your project

simply click the add media icon here and just like that I've imported some video

into my project I can now go ahead and improve the quality of my clip by

adjusting the brightness white balance to say much more in these settings here

there are so many effects you can add with ease to your Clips simply click one

and then drag and drop it onto your clip

if we didn't like it press command or control Z to move back a step and try

another one when exporting your projects move RB offers a wide range of video

popular formats such as mp4 and avi there are also many options for you to

adjust and play around with as well as Advanced Options you don't only have to

import videos however you can also make a slideshow with images or you can use

images in combination video with avi also has a great collection of fades and

transitions so select the transition and drag and trough for him between an image

and another section of your project drag the slider back and hit spacebar to view

how it looks you can double click the transition to adjust things such as

duration and upper settings so try a movie for yourself today be the link in

description below and create an awesome project for yourself I hope you enjoyed

today's video and gradients with the maker design and if you did lemon in the

conversation below and subscribe to Satori graphics for weekly graphic

design content into next time design your future today peace

マホちゃんとの楽しいトーク動画のはずが。。。 It Was Supposed To Be A Fun Video - Duration: 5:15.

She's really cute

Yeah, everyone says that

I'm not going to introduce her to you

Why not?

Not gonna happen

She's so cute

No no no no

She's like the little sister I never had

Introduce me to your sister

No no no no no

Never

No chance in hell

Hey, kids it's me PDRsan

Hi it's me Mahoto Watanabe shhhhhhhh

It's the first time Maho-chan has come to this place

so we're just going to talk about stuff

You do these kind of videos a lot on your channel

with unfunny YouTubers

So how you doing?

Not that good

Not that good?

Yup

You always say that

You never say "Good"

Not doing good is my good

so there is no "good" in PDRsan's world

Pretty much

How about you?

How's the tour going?

Yesterday I did a show at Zepp Namba

That was the semi final

and our 28th stop

and our final show (of this album cycle) will be at Toyosu Pit

Wow that's amazing

Nah

That's so cool

You're on tour doing your thing

and I only just discovered Merucari (Japanese e-bayish thing)

It's actually pretty cool

You can send things without giving your address

and when you buy something, you can just add it to your phone bill

It's really easy to buy things

probably not so good for kids

Anyway on a completely different note

Can you sign this for me?

Thank you

Can you sign a few more

Okay now can you hold them

Yeah, anyway Merucari's a great site

WAIT!

ARE YOU GOING TO SELL THOSE ON MERUCARI!?!?

What are you talking about?

Oh...never mind then

I was thinking of posting this photo set to twitter and I wanted to see what you think of it

This

This

This

This

That laugh means I probably shouldn't post it

Yeah, it will probably cause drama

Going back to music

Your albums have been charting in the Oricon (Japan's Music Chart)

Which I think is pretty fucking amazing

Yeah, our last single was Number 10

and our last album was number 1

Dude, that's fucking amazing

Oh, by the way I've recently started my rap career

Really?

and I was wondering if you could feature me on your next album

You mean you would be on our album?

Kaiware Hammer feat

PDRsan

You want to be on our next album?

Yeah

well....errrr....

I'll...think about it

Yeah, I'll think about it

Didn't you have something else you wanted to talk about?

Oh, yeah!

Megwin's channel is doing great

because you were in his videos for a week

it's not just that

I mean he basically used you to get to a million subs

no no no they also worked really hard

Yeah, I'm sure they did

but it's pretty much because of you

On a completely unrelated note

Can you be in my videos for a week?

so you want me to take a week off my channel and be in your videos?

Yeah

Yeah...I....Yeah...

well...

I'll have to think about that...

How about I live with you for a week

Live in my house?

Yeah

I don't know about that

We can make videos together

well...

I'm going to have to pass on that

Pass on it?

Are you saying no?

Yeah...

Pretty much...

It's nothing to do with you

That doesn't mean that I don't like you...

Fucking Megwin worshiper

and that was Maho-chan

Thanks for being in my video

Yeah, we should do it again some time

Nah, I'm busy

Please give me a thumbs up if you enjoyed the video(^o^)b

Don't forget to subscribe!

You can check out whatshisfaces's channel if you want

I guess I'll go then

bye

bye

Q&A - Outdoors and hiking - Who are we? - Duration: 10:13.

Who have we been tagged by?

That was Erik Normark,

and he in turn was tagged by Kevin Outdoors.

Erik has a fantastic channel.

You'll find a link to him down in the description

He shows a lot of lovely, gentle footage of Swedish nature

Few words, but many beautiful scenes.

Something we really appreciate

It's an honor to be tagged by him.

Even though tags aren't always fun.

But... we are going to tag two channels

after we have addressed these questions we have received.

Ten questions about life in the outdoors.

And since we are elderly ladies, we'll have to put on our reading glasses

Question # 1:

Who are you?

My name is Kaja.

I have four adult children,

and I'm 56 years old.

I'm Tove.

I am 59, and I have three huskies.

Are you 59?

Close on.

It is quite soon, isn't it.

At the moment, I work as Personal Assistant

for a disabled boy.

Prior to this, I worked in the education sector for many years.

I've also experienced a few years of wear and tear.

I "hit the wall" as they say,

A good dose of life experience in other words.

I think we can both say the same in that respect.

Among other things, I've work as Telecommunications Technician and Telecommunications Engineer,

but am now retired.

You also have artistic pursuits.

Oh yes!

I also design and make knives, as well as various craft products in wood and other natural materials.

On to question # 2

How long have you been hiking?

I'm lucky enough to have been doing that since I was a toddler.

From early childhood.

Same here.

As soon as I could walk, my father use to take me wandering through forested areas.

What you could call a solid growing experience in the great Norwegian outdoors.

I have been a girl scout, and learnt a great deal there.

There's excellent bushcraft knowledge to be acquired there.

We are having a bit of recording trouble

so you'll be noticing the results ;)

Question # 3

Do you backpack?

What is a Norwegian without backpack?

Yes, are definitely into backpacking.

We like it!

The heavier, the better.

We don't do a lot of cabin to cabin type of hiking

in the style of The Norwegian Trekking Association (DNT),

as many others do.

We prefer to stopover where we choose,

sleep where we want,

and not spend a lot of time in the company of many other people.

Keeping to ourselves in other words.

Therefore, we carry a tent, sleeping bags and other necessaries.

More weight, the better.

Tove won the world championship in powerlifting in 1985.

Question # 4

Favorite trail food?

Trout that we have fished ourselves!!

Preferably fried over a campfire.

With pancakes covered in self-picked blueberries

or cloudberries for dessert.

Question # 5

The longest distance traveled?

I noticed that those who have already done this tag

have given quite varied answers to this question.

Some have answered in kilometers,

and others have answered in days.

Seeing we don't care about kilometers...

Precisely,

we'll respond in terms of time.

Our longest trip lasted for 8 days.

Eight straight days without stopping off anywhere for provisions.

Question # 6

Most repeated hike?

As we are in the habit of heading off trail,

we have decided to answer in terms of our favorite areas.

We'd have to start with areas around where we live,

Grenland, in Telemark county.

I've recently returned from a 20 kilometers on a kick-sled with the dogs.

In Bamble, that is beautiful terrain.

Otherwise,

Nordfjella near Aurland,

that's been our favorite area for many years.

We've been there many times.

Not forgetting Austheiane in Fyresdal!

Yes.

There's very few people around that area.

So don't go there! ;)

Question # 7

Hike to-do list?

Northern Norway!

Northern Norway in the summer!

Yes, that's an region we haven't been to.

A beautiful part of the country, that I know.

A huge and beautiful part!

One place I really wish to visit!

But then we have to take my oldest husky into consideration...

she is terribly afraid of car travel.

We simply can't set out on road trips that last for days with her in the car!

No!

We'll just have to wait until she leaves us, at some stage in the future...

and so we dream about being able to make the journey then.

Then there's our dream of traveling to Greenland.

Yes, Tove has actually lived there.

There you'll find wilderness!

That's a place that lives on in your heart once you've been there.

Which question are we on now, Tove?

We'd also like to find and explore places

that are completely unknown to us at this point!

Yes, definitely.

That's a constant dream, the search for somewhere new.

Suggestions are always welcome!

Our trip to Langsua National Park was the result of a subscriber suggestion.

Indeed, thank you.

Question # 8

Maps and compass, or GPS?

Yes please, both...

so say Winnie the Pooh and us.

I use GPS a lot.

Kaja is adept with GPS.

I enjoy using technical gadgets.

Tove is quite good at reading maps,

but we can both orientate ourselves in the field with a map.

We like to have access to both methods.

We feel a certain security in being able to use a map and compass.

Question # 9

"Who do you hike with?"

Well...I want to hike with Tove.

And I either hike with Kaja,

or I'm out alone with my dogs.

You're often out in nature alone.

You do like it!

You've always been a sort of wandering loner.

I'm lucky enough to get out there with occasionally!

It's always more enoyable when Kaja's along on a trip.

Question # 10

What do you look for in a hike?

This is the last question.

Most of all, untouched nature!

With as few people as possible!

Yep, untouched nature!

Few people!

Quiet and a peaceful soul.

Silence!

And -

a feeling of achievement!

Challenges -

to deal with what nature presents you with.

I often formulate the experience as

being in nature long enough for your heart

to start beating in unison with the natural world around you.

Now that is happiness on a higher level!

Yes, it's the best the medicine for most of the world's problems.

Now, on to the people we wish to tag...

We have had a bit trouble recording, but here we are again....

Hello people! Tove has now caught the bug and is also feeling poorly.

It has taken a few days to get around to this last recording,

and camera 1 is not functioning.

Regardless of that, welcome back!

We'd now like to tag two wonderful channels;

"Norwegian Woods" and "Friluftslivets Gleder"

Norwegian Woods has many subscribers

and has been posting footage on YT for quite a while.

He hails from Østfold

and makes lengthier videos than most.

A clever man.

High quality sound.

Definately deserves a closer look.

He has varied content in his videos,

and provides a lot of information regarding Norwegian culture and nature,

as well as the wider Scandinavia.

Then we have Friluftslivets Gleder.

That is Håkon together with his dog Ulf.

Excuse me.

A lovely dog!!

Nice channel and wonderful pictures,

and a very nice touring vehicle as well.

A van.

We've been following him on his trip to Northern Norway

for the last half year.

Check his channel out as well.

Thank you for following!

Just as well you can't catch this influenza via viedo.

Absolutely a plus.

Welcome back next time!

We'll be heading out again as soon as we have made a full recovery.

Yay!!!

That is something we are seriously looking forward to.

All of you are invited along, of course.

Take care for now and thanks once again!

I think I'm about to die here...

What are we going to do now??

We'll have to buy a new camera ...

it doesn't look as though there's anything here.

Is everything gone then??
