Musical Careers Derailed Over One Bad Move - Duration: 4:54.

Thanks to social media and the 24-hour news cycle, it's easier than ever for people to

become superstars overnight.

But the reverse is also true, and one mistake can completely destroy a career just as quickly.

Here's a look at some superstar musical careers derailed over one bad move.

Michael Jackson

In the court of public opinion, the jury's ruling in Michael Jackson's infamous molestation

trial meant very little.

Yes, Jackson was found not guilty in June 2005, but the seriousness of the allegations

all but permanently tarnished the King of Pop's already dented career.

Jackson never toured nor released another album again... he unexpectedly passed away

in 2009 preparing for a comeback... a full four years after the jury's decision.

Miguel

In 2013, the music world was Miguel's oyster.

He was the new kid on the block with a mega hit "Adorn."

That all changed, though, during a live performance at the Billboard Music Awards.

Attempting to jump from one stage to another, Miguel crashed landed on a group of fans.

Khyati Shah was kicked in the head and elbow during the nasty fall, and according to reports,

she claimed she suffered cognitive difficulties as a result, including memory loss.

"This is gonna be the most memorable elbow injury of your life."

"Oh he's gonna make up for it."

And two years later, another fan injured in the same disastrous jump sued the star and

the MGM Grand Hotel, where the event took place.

Tied up in legal trouble, Miguel's star faded, with his 2017 album War & Leisure selling

just 40,000 copies in its first week of release.

Boy George

In 2008, 80's icon Boy George put the final nail in his career's coffin when he was sentenced

to 15 months behinds bars for handcuffing a male escort and beating him.

George claimed that Audun Carlsen, whom he originally hired as a nude model after meeting

online, had stolen photos from George's computer.

After Carlsen broke free, George allegedly chased him into the street, whipping him with

a chain.

During sentencing, the judge laid down the law, telling George,

"...in my view there can be no doubt that your premeditated, callous and humiliating

hand-cuffing and detention of Mr. Carlsen shocked, degraded and traumatised."

George only served four months of his sentence behind bars before being granted an early

release.

Lil Wayne

Considering his entire career is based around being clever with words, it's more than a

little ironic that Lil Wayne's biggest career trouble stems not from his history of arrests

and incarceration but rather from saying some really dumb things.

In 2013, Lil Wayne was forced to apologize after he referenced civil rights martyr Emmett

Till in a crude analogy about Lil Wayne's alleged prowess in bed.

Till was murdered in 1955 at the age of 14 for allegedly whistling at a white woman.

Lil Wayne wrote in part,

"I have tremendous respect for those who paved the way for the liberty and opportunities

that African-Americans currently enjoy."

"As a business owner who employs several African-American employees and gives philanthropically to organizations

that help youth to pursue their dreams my ultimate intention is to uplift rather than

degrade our community."

That professed dedication to promoting African-American civil rights was called into question again

when Wayne revealed in a 2016 interview that he has no idea what the Black Lives Matter

movement is, and doesn't really care.

In an interview with Nightline, Wayne dismissed the movement, saying "I don't feel connected

to a damn thing that ain't got nothin' to do with me."

"I don't know anything don't come at me with that dumb s--- man.

My life matters, specially to my b------."

Janet Jackson

You can't really say "musical career derailed" without mentioning Janet Jackson.

During the 2004 Super Bowl halftime show, Jackson was joined on stage by special guest

Justin Timberlake.

At the end of the show, Timberlake grabbed her bustier and ripped the top

part off, exposing one of Jackson's breasts for just over half a second in what she called

a "wardrobe malfunction."

"Was it planned Janet?"

"No."

Some viewers were outraged, and the FCC launched an investigation, handing down over a half

million dollars in fines to CBS.

The incident known as "Nipplegate" sparked a national debate, not just about decency,

but about double standards.

While Jackson's career was effectively ruined, Timberlake was forgiven, becoming an even

bigger star in the process, and eventually getting invited back to headline the Super

Bowl halftime himself - with no sign of Janet Jackson anywhere to be seen.

Top 15 Ways To Escape North Korea - Duration: 12:40.

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea, a notorious communist regime, invaded it's

neighbor South Korea in 1950. The united States and South Korea signed an armistice with North

Korea in 1953 that stopped the fighting but technically leaves the countries in a state

of war. The heavily armed demilitarized zone that separates the two Koreas made news recently

when a North Korean soldier fled across it to South Korea. This is one way to escape

from the brutal Kim regime, but probably the one with the least chance of success.

So let's get to it and we'll look at some of the ways to escape from North Korea.

Spirited Away

The people of North Korea had a long tradition of Christianity that was nearly demolished

when strongman Kim Il-Sung was installed as the president of the country by the Soviet

Union. Sung, his son and his grandson, Kim Jong-Un have generally done their best to

suppress religion. While most North Koreans wishing to defect can't physically escape

the miserable living conditions, some measure of faith might create hope for a better world

to come, and perhaps more importantly, it could act as an agent of change that could

eventually help overthrow the evil Kim regime.

Waiting to Escape

You might be surprised to learn that the North Korean government operates about 100 restaurants

around the world including in China, Dubai, Cambodia and the Netherlands. The employees

are North Koreans who double as staff and performers. Most of the revenues the restaurants

generate is sent back to the Communist government so the employees don't make much money. However,

living abroad gives them a chance to make good their escape and begin new lives abroad.

This has happened periodically, but exact numbers are hard to come by.

Wild Blue Yonder

North Korea has a national airline with aging planes with the distinction of being the only

airline in the world to have earned a one star rating. Air Koryo flys outdated, rickety

jets and is famous—or should we say infamous—for its bad service. The airline also boasts a

limited list of destinations, but it does have one thing to recommend it to North Koreans:

a way to escape. You have to be a pretty distinguished North Korean to even board one of these planes

such as part of the diplomatic service or a business man. But if you are lucky enough

to get a seat it might be possible to make it a one way trip to a better place. Tellingly,

members of the airliner crews have been known to occasionally "miss" their flights back

to the Hermit Kingdom.

Row, Row, Row Your Boat

Refugees around the globe have escaped their home country by boat, but this method of flight

carries added risks for North Koreans. Escapees can try their luck from the east or the west

coast, however either route is a long and perilous journey because the craft have to

give the coastline a wide berth to avoid North Korea's coastal patrol boats. Even if they

avoid the North Korean authorities, refugees must still brave turbulent seas. They are

often forced to use small, barely seaworthy boats that are as likely to sink as to make

landfall.

Choose Chongjin

There are no great places to live in North Korea, but if you can manage it Chongjin might

be a good choice. Unlike most North Korean cities, it has a decent amount of commerce

and industry with contacts with China. Chongjin also has a railroad hub, an airport, a tram,

and a river runs through it. This collection of attributes represent possible avenues of

escape for North Koreans who are willing to take their chances and try to slip across

the border with China. Unfortunately charming Chongjin is also known for its prison labor

and reeducation camps so most potential defectors understandably try to avoid the city.

Exchanging Your Life

It's important that we not confuse the North Korean people and heritage with its oppressive

government. North Korea has many wonderful cultural traditions, but much of this has

been obscured in the international eye by the government's lame propaganda attempts

to represent Kim Jong-un as a god like figure and the nation as a mega-utopia. Cultural

exchange programs allow the regime to show off its sports, dancing and music to the

world, but only in service to the larger propaganda effort. However, when these performers are

allowed to travel abroad they have an opportunity to make their escape. The government certainly

has minders keeping an eye on them, but some North Koreans have been able to flee their

captors in this way.

Laboring to Escape

One of the ways North Korea makes money is to send workers abroad to work in foreign

labor camps. The workers are essentially slave labor with their earnings sent directly back

to the regime. Russian work camps in Siberia are one of the more common destinations, but

their remote location in the vast wastes make it an unwelcome prospect. However, some North

Koreans consider any assignment to be an improvement over the misery they leave behind. Any opportunity

to live abroad, however difficult, is an opportunity to try to escape the horrors of The Kim regime

by melting into the local population.

Smuggled to Freedom

The best route for North Koreans into South Korea is often a dangerous journey through

China. For a price, smugglers, sometimes referred to as "snakehead" gangs will take refugees

through China staying at various hideouts and safe houses until transportation by sea

or air can be arranged to get them to South Korea. Relying on a shadowy smuggling operation

has its own risks and refugees are sometimes robbed, turned over to the authorities or

sold into slavery. But for the ones lucky enough to make it to freedom the perils of

smuggling are well worth the risk.

Running to Asylum

For any North Koreans fortunate enough to be living or traveling abroad, foreign embassies

provide an opportunity for escape. However, this option has its own set of dangers that

refugees must contend with if they are be successful. Many countries will grant North

Koreans asylum if they can get inside the embassy gates, but there are notable exceptions

such as China and Russia. Adding to the danger, North Korean agents sometimes stake out embassies

ready to pounce on refugees if they try to defect. if they're caught they will be hustled

back to North Korea and imprisoned or worse.

A Sporting Chance

There is apparently no record of a North Korean Olympic athlete defecting during the games,

and the team will be competing in South Korea in the 2018 winter games. One of the few privileges

of being an athlete or a member of a team staff in the Hermit Kingdom is the opportunity

to visit other countries. Whether as a member of the state soccer team, an Olympic wrestler

or a team doctor, traveling to other countries is the best chance many have to leave the

past behind. They would have to be careful not to tip off the government minders watching

them for signs of trouble.

Leaving on a Jet Plane

Not everyone can be fighter pilot, but if you

can be one in North Korea it could be your ticket out of the country. A brave pilot proved

it could be done at the end of the Korean War when No Kum-Sok decided he'd had enough.

He flew his Russian made MiG-15 down to South Korea at more than 600 miles per hour to Kimpo

Air Base. Not only did he live out his life in freedom, he also collected the $100,000

standing reward for defecting with his plane. The plane was repainted with a U.S. Air Force

insignia and color scheme.

Graduating to Freedom

It is unclear why such a repressive regime as North Korea's would allow some of its young

people to travel abroad as students, but it does. Not surprisingly, some of them try to

defect instead of returning home to a life of deprivation. The Communist government takes

steps to prevent this, such as treating family members back home as hostages and a pervasive

security service that monitors its citizens when they are living abroad. Students who

use this as an avenue of escape risk capture and condemning their family to prison or worse.

Riding the Rails

Like the underground railroad in America that helped hustle slaves from the South to freedom

in the North, there's an underground railroad in Asia that North Koreans use to escape.

The routes are long and dangerous with refugees crossing the border into China before heading

toward places like Thailand to try to build a new life. Unlike China, Thailand does not

forcibly return North Koreans to their home country where they may be imprisoned or killed.

Some refugees take another route toward Mongolia and are forced to make a treacherous trip

through the Gobi desert. Regardless of the route taken, they face a tough journey that

can easily end badly.

It's Good to be King

The North Korean Regime isn't known for handing out perks to its citizens, but for a dear

few elites life can be enjoyable in the Hermit Kingdom. High ranking military and diplomatic

personnel as well as successful businessmen have access to better food and housing, but

also something much more valuable: a chance to escape. The elites simply have more resources

and more contacts with the outside world, and these open up opportunities that the average

North Korean doesn't have. Most of them have them have been poisoned by a lifetime of propaganda

and fear that keeps them in line, but every year a handful of elites try to climb over

the fortress walls to freedom.

The Running Man

The Demilitarized Zone between North and South Korea runs for 160 miles and divides the peninsula

in half. This is the most heavily guarded border in the world. Thousands of soldiers

still technically at war with one another scowl across the mine fields and fences. The

young soldier pictured here, for example, was shot several times by his fellow guards

as he fled across the border. South Korean doctors who examined him revealed that he

was suffering from malnutrition and his digestive tract was infested with parasites. This direct

approach doesn't seem like the best way to make an escape, but a few North Koreans have

tried, and some have made it to freedom.

This Is Why You Recognize The Cast Of Black Panther - Duration: 10:18.

Marvel's bigwigs have a knack for topnotch casting, and Black Panther, the Marvel Cinematic

Universe's 2018 venture into the Kingdom of Wakanda, is no exception.

This film's sprawling cast includes familiar faces and new additions to the MCU, and, as

you may have already noticed, many of Wakanda's heroes and villains look — and sound — very

familiar.

Let's take a look at where you've already seen the talented men and women behind Marvel's

Black Panther.

Chadwick Boseman - T'Challa/Black Panther

As king of the isolated Kingdom of Wakanda and the man behind the Black Panther mask,

T'Challa has become both the political and literal protector of his people following

the death of his father, T'Chaka, during the events of Captain America: Civil War.

So we'd say he probably has a few more responsibilities than the average guy.

T'Challa actor Chadwick Boseman has appeared in a number of hugely successful bio-pics,

portraying Jackie Robinson in 42, James Brown in Get On Up, and a young Thurgood Marshall

in the aptly titled Marshall.

But the British American Drama Academy graduate got his start with a series of minor roles

in procedural dramas and soaps in the early 2000s.

In 2010, he landed his first recurring role on the psychological drama Persons Unknown.

Not bad — especially considering Boseman, who's also a playwright, initially wanted

to stick to writing and directing.

Danai Gurira - Okoye

Okoye may seem like a newcomer to Marvel fans who stick to the flicks, but, in the comics,

she plays a pivotal role in the survival of not only T'Challa himself, but the whole of

Wakanda.

As a member of the reinstated Dora Milaje — T'Challa's personal order of bodyguards

— Okoye is tasked with protecting Black Panther at all costs…even if he doesn't

look like he needs much protection.

It's no surprise that actress Danai Gurira's Marvel counterpart looks like she knows how

to handle herself with a deadly weapon.

After all, she trained with a legit sword master in preparation to play Michonne on

AMC's The Walking Dead.

She's also shown off the acting chops she developed at the Tisch School of the Arts,

going on to portray one half of a Nigerian couple struggling through fertility issues

in the 2013 drama Mother of George.

She'd return to the big screen in the 2017 biopic All Eyez on Me, playing Afeni Shakur,

mother of late rapper Tupac Shakur.

Michael B. Jordan - Erik Stevens/Killmonger

When Erik Stevens chose his supervillain pseudonym, subtlety must have been the last thing on

his mind.

We all know what kind of message a guy with the name "Killmonger" is trying to get across.

A former black ops soldier with a vendetta against T'Challa, Killmonger finds himself

teaming up with arms dealer Klaue in his quest for the Wakandan throne.

If you've got any taste in TV, you'll immediately recognize actor Michael B. Jordan from his

portrayal of Wallace in The Wire.

Following his season-long stint on the HBO hit, Jordan took his talents to Friday Night

Lights, joining the cast for its fourth and fifth seasons as Vince Howard.

In 2013, Jordan worked with future Black Panther director Ryan Coogler, portraying shooting

victim Oscar Grant in 2015's Fruitvale Station.

He'd later earn acclaim for his work in the Rocky spinoff Creed — and star in the ill-fated

Fantastic Four reboot, but we don't need to talk about that here.

Lupita Nyong'o - Nakia

Like Okoye, Nakia is a member of the Dora Milaje — but rather than remaining by King

T'Challa's side, the blade-wielding spy sneaks around the globe, gathering intel to keep

the isolated nation of Wakanda protected and informed.

Actress Lupita Nyong'o got her first big break in the heartrending 12 Years a Slave, which

snagged the young star an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress.

But sci-fi and fantasy fans will most likely recognize her as the voice of Maz Kanata in

the Star Wars sequel trilogy.

She also provided a vocal performance for The Jungle Book's Raksha, wolf mother to Mowgli,

in the 2016 live-action reimagining.

Forest Whitaker - Zuri

Drawing comparisons to Star Wars' Obi-Wan Kenobi, Zuri is a spiritual figure akin to

a shaman with strong links to T'Challa's father, T'Chaka.

Part of the Black Panther's inner circle, Zuri plays many roles, including advisor,

mentor, and spiritual guide to the young Wakandan King.

Forest Whitaker is an actor renowned for his adaptability.

In other words: no matter what kind of films you're into, chances are you've seen this

brilliant actor somewhere.

Dig a gruesome, gritty historical piece every now and then?

You'll recognize Whitaker from his portrayal of former Ugandan president Idi Amin in 2008's

The Last King of Scotland.

Into genre-bending hip-hop samurai bloodbaths?

No prob.

You'll know him as the titular character from Jim Jarmusch's Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai.

And, as his appearance in Black Panther attests, he isn't averse to the occasional blockbuster

— in fact, he was recently seen in a galaxy far, far away, playing the guerrilla Rebel

known as Saw Gerrera in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

Angela Bassett - Ramonda

The recently widowed Queen Mother of Wakanda, Ramonda has seen better days since the death

of her late husband and former Wakandan king T'Chaka.

But even in the face of such personal and political tragedy, Queen Ramonda persists

as a driving force on her son's high council.

Angela Bassett, who portrays the Wakandan matriarch in MCU's Black Panther, has cemented

herself as a veritable legend on the big and small screens.

In the '90s, she starred in a string of critically acclaimed films like Malcolm X, What's Love

Got to Do With It, How Stella Got Her Groove Back, and Waiting to Exhale.

But Bassett would later bring her talents to television, nabbing big roles in a number

of Ryan Murphy-run shows like American Horror Story and FOX police procedural 9-1-1 alongside

fellow AHS alum Connie Britton.

Daniel Kaluuya - W'Kabi

Hostile toward outsiders and endlessly loyal to his allies — especially T'Challa — W'Kabi

is a force to be reckoned with.

Not only is W'Kabi Black Panther's right-hand man, but the chief of Wakandan security is

also a capable warrior to boot.

W'Kabi actor Daniel Kaluuya appeared in a handful of films in the early 2000s — along

with a recurring role in the British drama Skins and a well-received performance in an

episode of Black Mirror.

But it was a minor role in 2013's Kick-Ass 2 as Black Death that jumpstarted his rise

to fame.

He would go on to become a household name in 2017, when he starred in the award-winning

psychological thriller Get Out.

Florence Kasumba - Ayo

A member of the Dora Milaje, Ayo leads T'Challa's security unit with confidence and poise.

Introduced to viewers in Captain America: Civil War, she nearly came to blows with Black

Widow, during a confrontation about everybody's favorite big cat on campus.

While she's appeared in a number of German shows and movies, actress Florence Kasumba

is still relatively new to American film and television.

The soon-to-be star has only appeared in a handful of productions like 2017's hugely

successful Wonder Woman movie in which she played Senator Acantha.

And in 2016, she joined the cast of the short-lived Emerald City, an edgy reimagining of The Wizard

of Oz in which she played the Wicked Witch of the East.

Letitia Wright - Shuri

T'Challa's half-sister Shuri is definitely a runner-up for biggest badass in Wakanda.

With super smarts to rival the likes of Tony Stark and a penchant for powerful weaponry

— like her panther-faced blaster gloves — Shuri isn't afraid to take her tech-savvy

talents to the battlefield alongside her brother and the Dora Milaje.

Let's get one thing straight: Letitia Wright deserves all the roles.

She showed that she could lead a feature film in 2015, when she took center stage in the

award-winning Urban Hymn.

In fact, 2015 proved a huge year for Wright: not only did she snag a recurring role in

the sci-fi drama Humans, but she was also tapped to portray a central character in the

Doctor Who episode "Face the Raven."

While she's mostly credited with bit roles in British television shows like Top Boy,

Coming Up, and Chasing Shadows, she also starred in the Black Mirror episode "Black Museum"

as Nish, a visitor to the titular tourist attraction.

Winston Duke - M'Baku

M'Baku — known in the Black Panther comics as the super offensively named Man-Ape — will

thankfully not be taking his source material's pseudonym when he makes his MCU debut.

However, the young Jabari tribe leader doesn't look any less menacing, even if he's swapped

out his comic counterpart's full gorilla hide suit for more practical armor.

While M'Baku is a pretty well-known and feared comic book villain, the man behind the tattered

breastplate, Winston Duke, is relatively new to acting.

Duke, who has a background in theatre, began his television acting career in 2014 when

he guest starred on an episode of Law and Order: Special Victims Unit as a high school

football player.

That same year, the actor returned to the crime thriller genre, portraying Mini in a

seven-episode arc of CBS crime thriller Person of Interest.

Martin Freeman - Everett Ross

First introduced in Captain America: Civil War, Everett Ross is a CIA operative and former

head of the Joint Terrorism Task Force.

In Black Panther, Ross finds himself at odds with the vibranium-hungry Ulysses Klaue.

As it turns out, the smuggler isn't exactly about to go down without a fight.

Actor Martin Freeman is everywhere: from portraying Dr. John H. Watson in BBC's Sherlock opposite

fellow MCU-er Benedict Cumberbatch to stepping into the furry, oversized feet of Bilbo Baggins

in the Hobbit trilogy, Freeman's filmography resembles a laundry list of big-name flicks,

quirky TV shows, and everything in between.

After getting his big break on the British version of The Office, Freeman would go on

to star in a number of mostly comedic films including Edgar Wright's Three Flavours Cornetto

Trilogy and 2005's The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, in which he played reluctant

and newly-evicted-from-Earth protagonist Arthur Dent.

Andy Serkis - Ulysses Klaue

One of the most exciting new additions to the Marvel Cinematic Universe has got to be

Ulysses Klaue, our resident sociopathic South African arms dealer who was first introduced

in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

While actor Andy Serkis brings sadistic charm and a roguish look to the role, comic fans

will likely associate the name "Klaw" with Marvel's token sonic disruptor-wielding supervillain

made of living sound.

Believe it or not, mo-cap mogul Andy Serkis had only been working on TV and film for around

six years before Peter Jackson cast him as Gollum in The Fellowship of the Ring in 2001.

It was this role that inspired the "cyber-thespian" to dedicate his career — or, at least, a

good chunk of it — to motion capture performance.

Serkis reprised his role as Gollum in Jackson's The Hobbit trilogy, and he's lent his talent

to the Star Wars sequel films as Supreme Leader Snoke.

But he's perhaps best known for his portrayal of Caesar, the tragic protagonist of the Planet

of the Apes films.

SIGMUND FREUD/ why was he interested in DREAMS …? - Duration: 3:04.

Hey guys, it`s Nikki and in this video I'll be explaining why Freud was so interested

in dreams if you want to know why just continue watching.

In the previous video we talked about errors and how they are proof for the existence of

unconsciousness but in the same time they are its way of appearance) Dreams are very

similar to errors but much more complicated because in contrast to errors dreams are a

way of realization of desires.

Let`s say your professor is a complete asshole (not so hard to imagine right) who kept pecking

(criticizing?) you the whole day.

The same night you go to bed and in your dream you are able to respond to every shitty comment

he did earlier that day and you even get to beat the crap out of him.

In this case you know exactly why you dreamed that.

But what if you were raised to believe that beating up you professor is a sin and you`ll

go to hell for it.

Here we have again a contradiction.

In an effort to resolve it now your mind transforms your desire into a dream of your professor

assaulting one of your friends and you only interfere to save your friend with the prof

yet again beaten.

In this example we have the real desire which is to beat the professor in order to get even.

That`s what Freud called Latent Dream Thought- the hidden meaning of a dream and the Manifest

Dream Content- which is the scenario where you are the hero for saving your friend.

But if we only know the Manifest dream content how do we get to the Latent dream thought?

Associations, for Freud all these random words that come to your mind are actually like a

map to your unconsciousness, remember the slips of tongue.

According to Freud letting the patient to talk freely uncovers the hidden truths of

their minds.

That`s also called the talking cure which is actually the birth of psychoanalysis.

Using the talking cure the doctor has to uncover the Latent dream thought and this process

is called dream interpretation.
