Waching daily Feb 16 2018

It's been four months since the deadly Las Vegas shooting, and yet the survivors and

families of those who did not survive are still facing major legal challenges.

In the last weeks, many new revelations have come about after a federal judge released

hundreds of court documents to the public.

On top of that, a different judge just ordered the Las Vegas Police Department to release

all digital records that were contained about that shooting October 1st.

Joining me to talk about that is attorney Robert Eglet.

Robert, what new things have been discovered that's going to help this lawsuit forward?

Well, there's been radio silence from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department for

months.

For days following the shooting and for weeks following the shooting, there were routine

briefings to the press about what was going on in the investigation.

And then because there was some misinformation that had come out initially, some time tables

were off, timing of different incidents were off, mistakes were made.

The police department here basically just shut down all information to the public.

The press has been working tirelessly here through court proceedings to try to get more

information released.

They've now had a lot of success recently, so now we're finally getting a lot of the

information that you think would have been released much earlier to the public.

They have taken the position that there was an-

Robert-

Go ahead.

What was that silence about?

It doesn't make any sense that you'd have silence about a tragedy like this.

The more information that's out there, the better people are able to perceive.

What in the world is the justification for silence to begin with?

Before this judge ordered them, "No, do what you're supposed to do and put this information

out there."

What was the rationale?

Our local sheriff's department was taking the position it was an ongoing investigation

and therefore it was imperative because they had an ongoing investigation that they shouldn't

have to release information to the public that may affect their ongoing investigation.

Of course, the other side that we were arguing, well, the shooter's dead, there's been no

evidence to show that there was more than one shooter.

So why is this information not being released?

Finally the courts have intervened and started forcing the police department to release this

information to the public.

MGM Properties was said to have botched their response to the security guard that was shot

by Paddock.

Now it's reported that MGM personnel had many interactions with the shooter in the days

leading up to this attack.

MGM says they were normal interactions, but lawyers say it's hard to believe that these

were normal interactions.

What's your take on that, Robert?

Well, I mean, it's hard to say these are normal interactions.

Steve Paddock had checked into these two rooms, this suite, days and days before this incident

happened.

There was security camera of him bringing in dozens of very, very large suitcases or

trunk, using the service elevators on most of the occasions, and by himself without other

hotel personnel there and sometimes other hotel personnel assisting him bringing these

bags up.

He was literally bringing these bags up then leaving the hotel, driving back to his house

an hour north of Las Vegas in Mesquite, and picking up more guns, more ammunition that

was packed in these suitcases, and bringing them back to the hotel.

To the point where he brought something north of a dozen of these large suitcases up.

This behavior in itself was strange.

He wasn't a conventioneer who was bringing stuff for a convention there.

He was a guest.

He was a high roller.

Why is he bringing all of these heavy items and why are being allowed to be brought up?

Robert, I think the operative word is high roller.

They spread out a lot of tips in places like that.

They hand out chips, they hand out money, and you know that's kind of an ingratiating

process that as I look at the facts in this case, it looks like that took place right

here.

You filed a case last week against Steve Wynn.

Are you able to talk about that?

Well, that's in the early stages.

In fact, just I came from a hearing, that's why I was delayed today.

But it's a derivative lawsuit against Steve Wynn and the Board of Directors of Wynn resorts

for their failure to provide proper oversight of Wynn as the CEO and allow this continuing

systemic activity of sexual assaults and inappropriate sexual behavior go on by the chief executive

for Wynn properties for decades.

Right.

You're kind of known as the lawyer to see out in Las Vegas.

And the reason I asked you about the Wynn case is together with ... You're kind of the

person leading the charge against MGM, now you've got Wynn when involved.

Do you feel like you're a little bit of a target out there in Vegas because you definitely

are pushing back on this MGM case.

You're developing facts that nobody else has developed.

What is your take?

I know you're used to conflict, you're used to controversy, but I think you're ... This

is a big effort both in the Wynn case and in this MGM shooting case.

You see repercussions from that type of thing sometimes, don't you?

Well, I mean, I'm used to that.

When we had the largest medically caused a hepatitis C outbreak in US history here in

Las Vegas, I was the lead counsel who pursued that litigation and to ultimate resolution

after three or four trials in more than a billion and a half dollars in verdicts.

I'm used to the adversary.

I'm used to being pushed back by casinos.

I've been in the business of suing these casino properties for 30 years for some of the negligence

and misconduct that goes on there.

It's nothing new to me.

So it's the same old process that we've seen here for 30 years.

Let me be clear, there are people probably all over the United States that had been affected

by this shooting case.

Families are spread out all over this country that had been affected by it.

Are you taking cases from all parts of the country and consolidating them in Las Vegas

or what is your approach to this case?

So this case, the cases themselves will not be consolidated into one lawsuit, they'll

be filed as separate lawsuits.

And, yes, we're taking cases from all over the country for both the families of victims

who lost their life on 1 October, as well as people who are severely injured from shooting

injuries, as well as being trampled in the mayhem that occurred there afterwards.

They'll be coordinated in an effort.

The cases will be coordinated here in our state courts, there'll be a presiding judge,

but each of the cases will be handled individually and that's how we're handling these cases.

And right now I'm leading the charge.

I'm leading the attorneys around the country who are presenting these cases.

We've already had one organizational meeting in my office.

We have another one scheduled for next month and we're proceeding in due course, and at

the right time, at the right place, we'll be filing these lawsuits collectively.

Robert, I've followed your career many years.

You're always there on the biggest of the big cases, you always seem to pull it out.

A lot of people are counting on you for this one, so good luck out there.

If I'm taking a bet since we're talking about Las Vegas, I would say MGM has a lot to worry

about.

Thank you for joining me.

Thank you, Mike.

Guided Meditation For Strength & Grounding ♥ 15 Minutes - Duration: 16:35.

Welcome to our meditation for strength and grounding

Today's meditation is going to be focused on the idea of finding balance confidence and strength within our body and be

Throughout our everyday life there are many circumstances or situations that may leave us feeling lost

unsettled and even deeply anxious within ourselves

When we become overwhelmed with these types of energies we can become Restless and perhaps even

Frustrated due to the fact that we aren't able to ground ourselves and still the body in mind

It's a normal reaction

And I'm sure every single one of us has experienced this type of emotional stress at some point in our lives

It's important to be conscious and fully aware that these emotions arise

So that we can learn to train our minds to deal with them in a peaceful and healthy matter

We cannot control what life presents us with

However, what we do have control over is how we react to those situations

There is no point in allowing a negative situation to affect our physical and mental being

With time there will always be some kind of solution to our problems

But if we allow them to affect us on a deeper energetic way

They will hurt our health and mental being in a much greater way

so breathe

smile

Everything will be okay in the end, and if it's not okay. It's not the end

trust that you are guided by the divine energy of love and

Everything that comes your way good or bad is just part of this extraordinary journey of life

With that said let's begin our meditation

Find a comfortable seated position on the floor your bed or anywhere else you feel most comfortable

Sit up tall and relaxed

Rest your hands on your knees

Face your palms up to the sky if you're in need of guidance in your life

Or face the palms downward if you're simply seeking rest and peace

Let go of any tension in the shoulders

Allow them to drop away from the ears the long gating the neck

Feeling any tension in that area of your body begin to let go

Close your eyes

Feel the heaviness of your eyelids

Bring all of your awareness to your third eye chakra the space between your two eyebrows

Pay attention of any colors or sensations begin to arise

Take a deep breath in

with your exhale let go

Let go of anything that bother you today any negative energy you were exposed to

Let go of anything that doesn't serve you right now in this moment

Breathe in

Exhale out

Let go and unclench your jaw

Completely let go of your face your shoulders

Feel your heart beating in your chest

Feel the chest rise and fall as you gently breathe in and out

Let go

As

You surrender to this present moment

Let's take this time and introduce our mantra

You can repeat this mantra for the duration of the meditation or you can simply come back to it

whenever you feel your mind starts to become distracted by other thoughts or sensations in your body I

Am strong I

Am grounded

I

am rooted in my being I

Am one with the universe and all its creation

Remember it's normal to become distracted or for thoughts to enter your mind. Don't let that frustrate you

Simply acknowledge it and then allow it to release

Release it

Come back to this mantra

allowing yourself to embrace each and every breath I

Am strong I am grounded I am rooted in my being I am

one with the universe and all its creation

I am strong I am grounded

I am rooted in my being I am one with the universe and all its creation I

Am strong I am grounded I am rooted in my be I

Am one with the universe and all its creation

and

Now silently in your mind

It's time to release the mantra

Take your time here

Slowly begin to come back to your breath

Take a deep breath in and with your exhalation slowly begin to bring your awareness back to your body

Inhale and exhale

Inhale again and

Exhale oh

Becoming conscious of each finger

each toe

the beating of your heart

Breathe in and out

In

And out

Whenever you are ready

you may slowly begin to open your eyes and

Simply allow yourself to sit with yourself or a moment

As you go about your day today

Allow yourself to be reminded that you are always in control of your inner state of being

Choose love to guide you through your day

choose to see the good things in life and

Trust the unfolding of your journey I

Send you love and light

namaste

You

How A Narcissist Deals With A Break up: The 6 Stages and After Effects - Duration: 4:02.

How A Narcissist Deals With A Break-up: The 6 Stages and After Effects

Breaking up with anyone, including the person who has done bad thing to you, is always heart-breaking

experience.

How is it not?

You've been in a relationship with him, or her for a while, and there is no denial

that you love him, or her unconditionally.

Eventually, such seemingly beautiful relationship should end because you don't think it will

bring something good to you.

Moreover, you also need to consider that your partner may be willing to commit damaging

or hurting actions to themselves or others.

No matter how hurtful it is, you should know that the other person you are striving for

does not feel the same.

They actually want to use you by doing irrational things or beautiful things for you.

Don't be trapped again.

Narcissists or any kind of toxic people actually do not feel the same.

There are some things that you should note.

But before we see the whole lists, If you're new to our channel, make sure to click the

subscribe button below, and don't forget to like this video if you find this information

is helpful to you.

#1 - Breakup means threats

It is worth noting that narcissists are basically toxic people.

Toxic people want you to die slowly from their poison.

They don't want you to leave because it takes time to make their magic work.

They need time to make you suffer the worst.

They really do not want to be separated from you because they will lose power.

To get you back, they will do many harmful acts such as suicide attempt.

This is what narcissists actually feel when you are trying to run away from their grasp.

#2 - Being patient

Narcissists will take every single opening from you as advantage.

You may not know that they are beast.

They will observe you like a prey, and they will swallow you later.

In doing that, they will be hiding in bushes as if they are going for a war.

They will wait until everything is perfect to take action.

It may take months or even years, and they will still wait.

They don't want to go away from you because they know your weakness.

To avoid this, you should threaten them back by revealing the secret of narcissists.

#3 - Bouncing back

They actually want more from you.

You are the best toy for them.

However, you should be in the game before they can enjoy the game.

Narcissists usually start by some pre-texts.

They want you to take the bait with their wordsmith skills.

You should be aware of this, and you need to make sure you are not going back.

#4 - Breaking-up is daily medication

For narcissists, breaking up is one of the joyful experience that they enjoy.

Their level of excitement is even greater if you actually accept them back in a relationship.

That is why it is highly recommended to just stay away from this kind of person no matter

how sweet they are.

They basically never regret.

#5 - You are the drug

Narcissists do love taking advantage over you.

Your suffering is their blessing and medicine.

Your energy and your affection are also the source of their power.

That is why you are worthier than the black-market drug ever created.

#6 - Trickery

Another stage of narcissist is basically they have rhythmical cycle of trapping people.

They will convince their target that they are kind and nice person before they turn

into monster.

They are really good at manipulating facts and people.

If you know that the person is narcissists, you really cannot trust anything anymore.

All in all, that's all the 6 stages and after effects for narcissist when dealing with a

break-up.

Really cool information isn't it?

Toy Story | Script to Screen by Disney•Pixar - Duration: 3:18.

To infinity and beyond!!

[ball bounce]

So, uh, where you from?

Singapore? Hong Kong?

Well, no, actually I'm stationed up in the Gamma Quadrant of Sector 4.

As a member of the elite Universe Protection Unit of the Space Ranger Corps,

I protect the galaxy from the threat of invasion from the Evil Emperor Zurg*,

sworn enemy of the Galactic Alliance.

Oh, really? I'm from Playskool.

And I'm from Mattel.

Well, I'm not really from Mattel,

I'm actually from a smaller company that was purchased in a leveraged buyout.

You'd think they've never seen a new toy before.

Well, sure, look at him.

He's got more gadgets on him than a Swiss Army knife.

[laser sound]

Ah, ah, ah, please be careful!

You don't want to be in the way when my laser goes off.

Hey, a laser!

How come you don't have a laser, Woody?

It's not a laser!

It's a--

It's a little lightbulb that blinks!

What's with him?

Laser-envy.

All right, that's enough.

Look, we're all very impressed with Andy's new toy.

Toy?

T-O-Y. Toy.

Excuse me, I think the word you're searching for is Space Ranger.

The word I'm searching for I can't say because there's preschool toys present.

Gettin' kind of tense, aren't you?

Oh, uh, Mr. Lightyear?

Uh, now I'm curious.

What does a Space Ranger actually do?

He's not a Space Ranger!

He doesn't fight evil, or shoot lasers, or fly.

Excuse me.

[wing activation sound effect]

[gasps]

Oh, impressive wingspan.

Very good!

Oh, what?! What?!

These are plastic.

He can't fly!

They are a terillium-carbonic alloy and I can fly.

No, you can't.

[sigh] Yes, I can.

-You can't! -Can.

Can't! Can't! Can't!

I tell you, I could fly around this room with my eyes closed!

Okay then, Mr. Lightbeer! Prove it.

All right then, I will.

Stand back everyone!

[toys shuffling back]

[walking]

[mechanical sound effect]

To infinity and beyond!!

[ball bounce]

[music]

[bed bounce]

[music]

Can.

[cheers] Whoa!

Oh, wow!

You flew magnificently!

I found my moving buddy!

Why, thank you.

Thank you all.

Thank you.

That wasn't flying!

That was falling with style!

Man, the dolls must really go for you!

Can you teach me that?

[laughs]

Golly bob howdy.

Oh, shut up.

In a couple of days, everything will be just the way it was.

They'll see.

[indistinctive chatter]

They'll see.

I'm still Andy's favorite toy.

YouTubers React To Vintage NBA Slam Dunk Contests - Duration: 6:11.

"High toss, lob, and reverse jam!"

"High above the rim."

[ crowd cheering ]

"Run"

"That"

"Back"

"Run that back."

"The dunk contest has always been my favorite event at an All-Star Weekend."

"It was the real championship for me."

"That's the one event that I was always looking forward to."

"I used to play on rims that were 6 and 7 feet just so I could feel like I could dunk and jump as high as those guys."

"1984. Who's that, Larry Nance Senior?"

"That's something I don't think guys can do nowadays.

Rocking it back like that, underneath the basket."

"That guy was the best windmill dunker. He would cup it."

"Oh, Dr. J. Let's see."

"He wants to be creative. I mean, this is the man who invented the dunk to some people."

"Oh, whoa, whoa... run that back."

"What?"

"That's crazy."

"These are like some underrated dunk contests."

<i>"Off the board."</i>

"Yo, Larry Nance got bunnies."

"Here's Julius."

"We got Julius again, reversing, that's nice."

"Jeez, he like, did an ice skating spin in the air."

"He hit his head, John."

"Did he hit his head?"

"I've done that before."

"Let me see, son... you're okay, get back out there."

"You should get two points for hitting your head on the backboard."

"That's crazy that his son is in the contest this year.

One of my favorites right here."

"Run that back

That was the dunk, man.

The rock-the-baby. Rockabye baby."

"That's why I played on little rims, 'cause I want to do that."

"Here we go, can he do what he did in '76?"

"Was that from the free throw?"

"I would need a couple extra steps."

"He kinda stepped in a little bit from the free throw line, so I don't know...

I'm not gonna count that one."

"Here is Larry Nance." "He's gotta be different!"

"Two-ball. Larry Nance... let's get it!"

"Two of them in a row."

"Man, that's crazy."

"Awww, Dr. J got robbed."

"Look at Dr. J, he just wants to get outta here. Where my keys?"

"The first dunk contest I remember that stood out to me was Jordan,

Dominique Wilkins... that dunk contest was insane."

"This was the beginning of the Dominique Wilkins, Michael Jordan rivalry."

"One of my favorite dunks, run that back.

Favorite dunks, ever.

Uh. That double pump. Oh, so tough."

"MJ on the warmup. Got his chain on and all that."

Yeah, Stansbury used to do the Statue of Liberty."

"Oh yeah. He got two chains on."

"Michael's just... supreme."

"See, Jordan, he's supposed to win just 'cause his

swag is just like, on 100 right now.

Dominique, man... too powerful."

"Dominique and Jordan were just on another level.

Ah, dude... so much power."

"Dominique... get it."

"Oh, he put the tape down.

We gotta play that back.

Did he - did he go behind the mark?"

"See that foot?

Free throw line."

"Absolutely incredible to me."

"Wow!"

"Soaring, leaping, one-handed."

"Ohhh!"

"Uh! Run that back."

"Strong. Aggressive. Crazy."

"Dominique was way more powerful.

He deserved that one."

"It's the new 1985 Slam Dunk Champion."

"1986 Dunk Contest. Let's see what we got.

Oh, Spud Webb's in the building. For the little people."

"Just sick how much bounce he has."

"I wanna know his vertical."

Bro... no bounce, run that back."

"Spud Webb did a 360."

"I can barely do that, and I'm 6'10!"

"Take that, little guy."

"Dominique had to compete against his own teammate.

It wasn't even a contest."

"What? Hold on, wait - run that back."

"Dominique is at a loss for words."

"This man looks like a little kid, that's just got unrealistic hops."

"And now he's upset. He's like, 'I gotta top this?' But he did though."

"Dominique, just major bounce."

"Two-handed windmill from the side."

[ crowd cheering ]

"Look at everybody getting into it."

"Reverse jam!"

"MJ!"

"That's crazy."

"Jordan's like, 'damn I'm glad I didn't enter that year.'"

"Round of applause."

"1988, rematch."

"Dominique and MJ. What a rivalry."

"This was the best Dunk Contest of every Dunk Contest."

"Oh... see Dominique's head is just clear above the rim."

"Whew! Run that back."

"When you see somebody that can catch that kind of a pass off the glass,

I get hungry to throw him a lob.

I see you, MJ."

"Wow, that was really crazy."

"Everything he did, man was like, trying to break the rim."

"And that's back when shoes weighed like 4 pounds.

Run that back.

Oh dude, you know how much that hurt?

Look at his hand bounce off that."

<i>"Michael Jordan needs a 48 to tie."</i>

"Let's see what he got. Oh, free throw line.

Freaky. See all the finesse he used in the air?

Oh, that poster's on my wall.

Run that back. Run that one back for sure."

"This was the greatest, man. Look at this.

Ahhh, bro.

I had this poster in my room, and it was my favorite poster.

It's the most amazing shot."

"They gave Jordan a 50!"

Her Mom Had Five Kids. She Wanted Another Life. | NYT - Conception - Duration: 4:03.

When I looked at my mother, my grandmother,

and my great grandmother, I just saw women who were burdened.

Women who weren't free.

I was just intent on having another kind of life.

My mother is the youngest of eight.

Her dream was always to travel the world playing her music.

She was 16 when she married my father.

He was abusive and we moved back into my grandparents' home.

My mom worked long hours.

She was always stressed.

She ended up pregnant three times after she left my father.

She said she just didn't believe in abortion

and she was going to have each of the babies.

I didn't want to be her,

someone like her, stuck in that town.

I wanted to get out of De Ridder and go to college.

I remember having this dream of having

a flat in Europe or some studio apartment in New York.

He told his stepfather and his mom

that we were going to the state fair.

There was a woman sitting there waiting.

I just remember her looking at me and saying,

"Don't worry.

This is my fifth one.

It doesn't hurt."

I couldn't even process it mentally or emotionally.

I felt that I had let everyone down

and they didn't even know it.

On the way home, I got in the backseat and just slept.

I married a man who did not want kids.

I said,

"I like children, but I just, I don't want them."

And I still don't feel that just because you're a woman,

you're supposed to have kids.

But around 30, 31, something within me started changing.

Why did I make the decision not to have kids?

I was definitely in deep conflict.

We ended up going our separate ways.

I was watching something on television about abortion.

I just hadn't allowed myself to really think

about that baby and that pregnancy.

Just the floodgate opened.

I thought about how old the child would

have been at that point and, oh my God, what kind of mother

would I have been?

I met a guy.

He was a single father.

We hit it off, and I must have been pregnant by that fall.

It felt surreal.

Something about it also felt very natural.

When I think about my mother, my grandmother,

my great grandmother, motherhood is something that just happened

or seemed to happen to them.

I stepped in and ended that, but I also

am very saddened by having to make that choice.

I'm proud of the life that I've been

able to craft and the freedom that I've had because I'm

able to share that with my son.

We finally went to see a reproductive endocrinologist.

At 30, I had no eggs.

Ready To Learn Ancient Wisdom Of The Sages What They Knew May - Duration: 5:51.

Ready To Learn Ancient Wisdom Of The Sages What They Knew May Shock You

by Hezekiah Harrison,

There are many paths which lie dormant in the human psyche; knowledge can be attained

through the path of ancient sages.

In our human brains reside potential neural pathways that have remained dormant for thousands

of years, much like organs in the body are often considered dormant even though they

are still there.

The brain had potential to develop on a certain path over the course of human evolution, but

this potential was passed over in favor of other skills.

You do have multiple levels to your brain or consciousness, and these dormant abilities

of your mind can be reactivated and practiced to reform the scope of what your mind is.

Humans have developed strongly in decision-making and personality aspects of consciousness,

with most of your neuronal development taking place in the frontal lobe.

This means humans are usually good at weighing decisions and thinking abstractly about concepts.

There are, however, other parts of the neurological system which can be developed.

Though emphasizing development of the frontal lobe has led humans in the development of

society and consciousness, a certain species has also progressed to consciousness by adapting

via the increased complexity of the brainstem.

This species is an offshoot of the saurian line, and diverged from reptoid genealogy

shortly after the divergence between humanity and the reptoids themselves from their shared

ancestral line.

Advancing the complexity of the brain stem (or equivalent aspect of early neurological

systems) has led to a consciousness that emphasizes reacting and organically flowing with any

situation no matter what danger it may represent.

For humans, the brain stem connects sensory information (five senses) to the rest of the

brain and maintains unconscious activity like breathing and heart rate.

It also plays a large role in unconscious reactions like shielding ones eyes from

harm.

In evolution, the saurian descendants advanced in brain stem function in much the same way

that humans evolved through emphasis on the frontal lobe.

The result has led to an abstract consciousness completely foreign to anything related to

human conceptualizations and, in some ways, far better adapted to achieve in an ever-shifting

and unknown world.

That same aspect of reactionary thought can still be seen in a primitive sense in reptiles

on Terra to this day.

Animals work on instinct, and the alternative line of saurians built an entire culture and

civilization on instinct and adaptation.

Its an extraordinary achievement in comparison to what humanity has built for themselves.

The mind of an alien saurian-raptor is entirely distinct from our own in terms of neuro-anatomical

structure.

It is much more adapted to instinct and reaction against an environment of fast-paced crisis

and unexpected movement; it is a more adaptable mindset, and more able to react flexibly to

whatever is thrown at it in life.

The saurian-raptor mind is free from distraction and idle consideration, running as crisis

comes along and staying uninhibited by frivolous, time-wasting considerations personal interaction

or staying humane in the war campaign against inferior life forms.

Although these same neurological pathways are unused in humans, they can still be accessed

in some small part through conscious meditation and activated in order to acquire alternative

forms of consciousness and thrive accordingly.

The human brain is at its most creative when its making theta level brainwaves,

which is a relaxed and non-calculating state of mind that the mind acquires just before

falling asleep.

This is why creativity so often happens on the spur of the moment, either just before

a human is going to bed or when thinking about something completely unrelated to a particular

problem.

This is reactionary consciousness, that achieves insight without calculation or applying too

much focus.

It can be done for human thinking, and that is the first step in actualizing the dormant

aspects of thought that humanity left behind.

Wisdom can be found in that type of construction also, even if it is only a first step in learning

to live by the wisdom of the raptoreal sages from the distant epochs of history.

The wise sages knew this way, and they were able to react in active living.

They were able to intensively focus on the subject of their feeling in deepest meditative

mindsets.

They were achieving in their mentalities intense focus, and it was a focus that was reactive.

What it means for us, very simply, is that we move with the flow of life, and adapt to

stuff.

It means we are in the flow, and not letting our thought be gummed up by forethought.

When a mind is open and simple in response to an emergency situation, it may react more

quickly to threats and simply move by reflex.

This is the state of mind a martial artist is in when sparring with an opponent: there

is no time for consideration or deliberative speculation: there is only the moment and

the next attack to block or strike.

This is truly active knowing.

24 Hours After Florida Shooting, Gunman's REAL Motive Surfaces It's Not What Media Told You - Duration: 4:42.

24 Hours After Florida Shooting, Gunman's REAL Motive Surfaces It's Not What Media

Told You.

It has now been one day since the mass shooting in Parkland, Florida, which left seventeen

innocent people dead.

Now, the gunman's real motive has finally surfaced, but it's not what the media told

you.

On Wednesday afternoon, a gunman opened fire at Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland,

Florida.

As always, in the wake of such a tragic event, we ask what can be done to prevent this sort

of needless violence in the future.

And, as usual, this question has been met with calls for more gun control.

Despite having more gun control now than at any other time in the history of our great

nation, we also have more gun violence.

Furthermore, we know that gun control does not work.

Just take a look at cities like Chicago, which has some of the strictest gun control laws

in the country.

The residents are murdered with guns on a daily basis.

It is more dangerous to live in Chicago than almost anywhere else in the United States,

but it's nearly impossible to acquire a gun legally there.

So, perhaps the issue is not with guns.

After all, if the Florida gunman did not have access to a firearm, he could have inflicted

harm in any number of other ways.

He could have set off a bomb.

He could have plowed a truck into pedestrians.

The list goes on and on.

Thus, we come to a conclusion difficult for many to face.

This is a morality issue not a gun issue.

According to a study released by the Congressional Research Service, the average rate of mass

public shootings defined by the FBI as "a multiple homicide incident in which four or

more victims are murdered with firearms, within one event, in at least one or more public

locations" has gone up from being a singular, annual tragedy in the 1970s (a 1.1 incidence

rate) to about 4.5 incidences per year between 2010 and 2013.

Unfortunately, those numbers are only increasing.

It is just February, and we're already on track to have more mass shootings in 2018

than in any other year in U.S. history.

Guns have been in existence for roughly 200 years.

So, why the alarming spike in mass shooting just within the time span of a few decades?

To answer that question, we should look to what other major event coincided with the

statistical rise in mass shootings.

What else happened in the 1970s, after which time a period of increasingly violent events

transpired?

The most notable event was the decision of Roe v. Wade, which legalized abortion.

Since that 1973 ruling, it has become more and more socially acceptable for women to

kill their own children in the womb.

Think about that.

In 1973, we sanctioned the slaughter of our most helpless citizens, and ever since, our

society has only become more violent.

Now, we have devolved to a point where deranged and morally corrupt individuals take dozens

of lives at a time.

Make no mistake, this is not about guns.

It is a direct result of society lacking a moral compass.

Even if the Florida gunman had no access to guns at all which, of course, is impossible

he still would have been a deranged and morally corrupt individual.

We can say with near certainty that he still would have gone on to murder innocent people

through some other means.

He was intent on taking lives.

His history makes that perfectly clear.

Nearly four decades ago, as a nation, we turned our backs on the sanctity of life.

Now, we are shocked as we watch unspeakably violent acts unfold on a seemingly weekly

basis.

But, if we give this matter the deeper reflection it is due, then how can we really be so surprised

by these mass shootings?

We no longer value life.

The only probable consequence of that is violence.

We cannot sanction the killing of innocents and then rightfully be surprised when innocents

are killed en masse.

By the same token, if you are outraged that seventeen people were killed yesterday in

Florida, you should also be furious that millions of babies were murdered by their own mothers

before they even had the opportunity to take their first breaths.

Moreover, we should all be sickened by the fact that society considers this socially

acceptable, nay "empowering."

what do you think about this?

Κλειδιά για να ξεπεράσετε το σύνδρομο της Γουέντι: την ανάγκη να ικανοποιείτε τους άλλους - Duration: 4:18.

Wendy's syndrome has its roots in popular psychology.

Although it is not a recognized disorder in the diagnostic psychology manual, it includes

some aspects that can be translated into clinical dimensions that need to be addressed.

Focusing your existence on the care of another person leads to a slow process of self-destruction.

Loss of self-esteem or excessive physical and mental exhaustion can easily lead you

to depression.

Classical literature offers several, even original, archetypes that help describe this

very real behavior.

Wendy's syndrome, or Peter Pan's syndrome, Othello's syndrome, and Aliki's syndrome in

Wonderland, all describe disorders, problems and behaviors in a real-world fantasy.

We could easily say that the subject of this article is the most common syndrome of all.

In a way, many women internalize this syndrome, not because they are forced, but because they

have been seeing generations for so long and that they feel.

The person who cares and cares for others loves them.

Leaving yourself looks like a great way to love.

However, sometimes it is easy to forget something: whoever gives it is also worth taking.

Here the problems start with emotional disharmony and sadness.

Today we suggest you think about it on the basis of the following information.Wendy's

Syndrome or Progressive Denial of Self As we have said, this syndrome has its roots

in popular psychology and its symptoms are very clear: You think that loving means, above

all, serving another person.

For a long time, you may feel good at this kind of relationship.

So you understand love.

It does not matter (at first) that others do not care about you alike.

You just know that your partner, for example, feels you love him and is happy.

So you feel good.

Do this so that those around you do not get angry or dislike.

You are struggling for the external balance by forgetting yours.

Gradually, however, you realize that others regard every effort and your energy as "normal".

This can get to such a point that they become tyrannical and demanding.

If you are experiencing Wendy's syndrome right now, pay attention to some things you need

to change.

Understand that love does not mean sacrifice: love means give and LOVE Many people have

been raised with the idea that to love one has to give up certain things in order to

establish a relationship.

If you want someone, you have to "tolerate" a lot of things.

They are also led to believe they have to say 'yes' while they want to say 'no'.

They begin to give priority to others instead of themselves, which is the goal of others.

If you have adopted these ideas in your way of thinking, you begin to crash under the

weight of new ideas: Love does not mean resignation.

If you abandon yourself, you will simply become a victim of it.

A love relationship should be mature and conscious.

Undoubtedly both parties should give, but it is equally important to receive.

Love means creating a team, coordinating the potential, interests and needs of its members.

In Wendy's syndrome there is always a person who gives and a person to receive.

One person wins and the other person gradually loses.

However, the real problem is that the person who loses does not even realize this.

At the beginning of the relationship he feels joy that the other person cares about it,

worries about it and takes care of every detail to maximize his welfare.

But after months or years, the person with Wendy's syndrome observes that something is

wrong.

Ultimately, what is taken for granted is not appreciated, and others are asking even more

for it.

Do not let yourself fall into this terrible and sad trap.

How to focus on other types of emotional relationships Our first and most essential advice: never

cease to be yourself, no matter how much you love the other person.

Otherwise, sooner or later, frustration, discomfort and misery will make their appearance.

Caring, protecting, offering, denying certain things to yourself ... Well, your partner

should also take care of you, give you things, and deny things to yourself for your sake.

Regardless of this: a self-denial of this kind should only be carried out if it is for

the common good.

Do not apologize for anything that is not your responsibility.

The worst fear people have with Wendy's syndrome is abandonment.

To prevent this, they can do everything (never let things get to that end).

You should learn to be happy on your own.

Enjoy the company of yourself to the point that you know that if you find yourself alone,

it will not be the end of the world.

Learn also to correct your thought patterns, especially those that make you suffer.

This will help you cultivate new feelings that make you stronger.

Quit ideas like: "if I care more, they will love me more", or "better to let it go so

they will see how much I love them."

Stop showing all your hopes, desires and energy to another person.

Do it only in a fair way.

You deserve my love and I deserve your respect.

Remember, in love there must be dignity.

Never accept anything less: learn to receive and strive for your personal integrity.

SIMPLE 6 step guide on how to start KETO - Duration: 7:18.

how's it going in this video I'm going to give a simple 6 step guide to how you

can start dieting keto

Yes I am back I know I took a long hiatus off of youtube now I have

started the ketogenic diet again last year I did the ketogenic diet and lost

30 pounds in 3 months and it really changed the way I perceived dieting and

working out and I just started last week so I'm gonna go through the entire

process again start to finish and I'm gonna show everything I do I try to

share as much information that can be used as possible for anybody else

looking to do the ketogenic diet step one of starting the paycheck that is

downloading a calorie tracker specifically a macro tracker I

personally use my plate and the reason for this is that when you go from a

standard American diet into the ketogenic diet it's really hard for

people to understand the macros they're consuming and how to properly get the

amount of fat because basically eating like eating ketogenic goes against so

many principles of the average diet about calories and no fat makes you fat

and all that stuff so definitely get a calorie tracker and making sure you get

your calories and macros right and understanding what do your in taking is

super effective and starting the diet number two is tracking everything that

you intake so water, food obviously well obviously food, snacks anything you eat

you've got to put it in because at all at the end of the day it all adds up

specifically obviously on a ketogenic diet if you're watching this video

you've already looked into the diet you're doing the diet you're thinking

about doing a diet or you've decided to do the day either way the benchmark is

75% fat 20% protein and 5% net carbs now that's not how everybody does it

some people do 85% fat I personally do about 70 percent fat and about

twenty five percent protein just because I really want to retain a lot of muscle

and build muscle but that's my step number two is tracking every step number

three is eating until you're full so basically you know no calorie cap and

what I mean by that is that starting up a diet it's gonna be hard for a lot of

people some people just kick, just naturally get right into it but for most

people it's gonna be difficult and one of the more difficult parts about it is

they're gonna craving those carbs so eating until you're full as long as it's

within the seventy five twenty percent five percent isn't gonna be very

detrimental for you and eventually when you get into ketosis when you start

producing ketones you'll feel good enough that you'll stop

these cravings and you'll stop eating so much so even if you're eating 3,500

calories a day for the first week or two of it it's not that bad in the long run

as long as you get into ketosis so and the calories in calories out has been

debated so I just wouldn't I would just eat until you're full and then you won't

worry about eating carbs so step number four might be the most interesting most

fun part about keto is that you can really experiment with a lot of things

here obviously if you cook any meal prep there's all different types of food

recipes out there like fit men cook he has a bunch of cool recipes there's

all different websites keto connect I know they have recipes and stuff like

that so experimenting the different types of foods is super important and

staying engaged than that and moving forward and not stagnating that's

personally reason why it's so effective for me it's like I struggle with the

whole you know grilled chicken green beans like brown rice I can't do it I

just I just get bored and I want to like smash my face into a wall and so

experimenting on the diet and also being open-minded so there's gonna be a lot of

different food food combinations you might not have normally considered but

actually go really well together so just being open-minded throughout the entire

process it's gonna be really good for you

just enjoying yourself label step number five is go one month straight without

cheating so the important specifically with going

one month straight without cheating in this diet is that so your metabolisms

has a lot of momentum build-up from even even when you're not doing the ketogenic

diet it's a lot of momentum ivolved but specifically on the ketogenic that if

you knock yourself out of ketosis it takes you sometimes it'll take you 12

hours sometimes it'll take you several days to get back into it and then you

have to restart the process basically so getting a month into it getting it's a

momentum process so making sure you get that first month in and then probably

doing carb cycling where you cheat you know once every two weeks or something

like that that's what I would recommend making

sure you get that month in you grind away you get through it and at that

point you might even not not wanna cheat so whatever and then step six is do your

own research so for me the way I learned everything no joke was watching Jason

wittrock watching dr. Eric Berg and just doing a lot of my own research and

obviously so YouTube is a fantastic tool to research and understand the diet

better it's gonna be better for you dieting in general as long as you

understand what you're doing and obviously subscribing to me I'm going to

be putting videos out every week to cover the diet especially specifically

getting into it and I'm gonna go through just as I'm going into it I'm gonna do

I'm going to show what I do will drive to me Jason which Rock dr. Eric burg and

keto connect they're all fantastic people I know Jason wittrock

specifically is a really great guy and just a couple bonuses is try to get

a multivitamin they're not absolutely essential to try to get a multivitamin

make sure you electrolytes in and if you can find a

partner to do it with you because nothing's better than having somebody go

through this with you whereas in if you do it by yourself

sometimes you feel crazy but if you do with somebody else you can usually push

you push each other through and kind of go with they'll go through it together

and up next my next video I'm going to put out this week is how to avoid the

keto flu thank you for watching I hope this was useful for anybody that's

starting the ketogenic diet if you're looking for more videos about the

ketogenic diet dieting in general be sure to subscribe and leave a like or a

comment if there's any other videos that you'd like to see going forward or if

you disagree to agree with anything I had to say
