Hello and welcome to today's Fridaytip.

In today's tips, you'll see how to translate a Word document into another language.

From Norwegian to English or from English to Norwegian only in a few clicks.

The feature is built into Word, and it's very easy to use.

Just watch this.

In this example, I will translate a Word document from Norwegian to English.

But you might as well do the other way around or to other languages.

All you have to do is mark the text you want to translate like this.

Now you can go up the menu here and click on <See through>.

And then click <Translate> and select <Translate marked area>.

If you have not used this service before, you will be prompted by Word if you want to activate it.

At the very right here in Word you will see that Word has translated the text you selected.

Here you get a nice preview of how the finished translated text will look.

If you want to replace the text from the original language to English, you only have to select <Insert>.

Word will automatically enter the translated text for you ..

If you want to choose another language, you can easily do it here.

Select the language you want the text translated into in the list.

If you do not want to overwrite the original text, just choose another location,

to where you want to paste the text, like this.

And finally

You can also start the translation feature by right-clicking and selecting it on the menu, such as this.
