welcome to Raj creations in this video I am came up with these beautiful mesh bags
In this tutorial I am going to show you 2 types of mesh bags
one is a zipper one and other is string bag
for this project we will require some mesh, wool and a crochet
for zipper bag mesh and a zip
take a single piece of net or mesh
mark one inch from the upper side
leaving this 1" we have to stitch from top to bottom
I am started stitching from the bottom side and proceeding towards the top
here at marked point press the needle inside and turning the cloth
again making a stitch line
now as you can see we have to fold 1" part like this
we have to make a casing to insert the string in between this
just fold like this and make stitch over it
first make 3 to 4 stitches and then again do back stitches
fold the mesh evenly and make a casing of this
we have to stitch this all around till we reach the starting point
secure it with more stitches
finally we have to stitch the bottom part only
this is very simple and easy to make, these bags are very useful
in storing vegetables and fruits , you can also
organize your stationery, cosmetics and other household stuff
now for dori or string I am making this chain stitch with crochet
you can also use any other dori or string
just take 5-6 strings of wool just twist them together to
and make a dori if you don't want to use crochet
now with the help of small safety pin I am inserting dori
in the casing, isn't it easy within a 5 minutes
you can stitch these mesh bags or net bags
they are very useful in day to day life
now tie a knot by taking these 2 strings together
this way our string bag is ready
Now for zipper pouch or bag we are taking this can can net, this is also known as can can
this net is used for bags, I have taken two pieces of same size,
now I have taken a leftover fabric of 5 " width, its length has to same of zip length
now fold it and cut it in between
we will use this strip to hold the mesh properly
this is difficult to stitch zipper with mesh,
and cloth strip will make it more durable
these mesh bags are re usable and re washable
you can use these for years, now
one the front side of mesh place a cloth strip
facing right over right and make a stitch line
fold the mesh inside the cloth strip
and fold the strip like this so that the raw edges are concealed
inside this cloth strip and make a stitch line over it
this will give life to your bag they will become more durable
by adding this strip
there is very thin mesh is also available in market, in my upcoming videos
I will show you some other organizers with thin mesh
these bags are very useful in storing potatoes onions and even use for laundry
as these are transparent article inside are easily visible
now I have made both side with like this
now place the zip in the center and place
and place one side of bag over it and other side of bag on the other side of zipper
this way we have to stitch the zipper with both sides
as we have concealed the mesh properly just place the zipper underneath and sew
when the zipper lock is on the way
move it to another direction and you can easily sew it
now I am stitching on the other side
taking 2 parts of mesh is easy
else you have to hold the fabric carefully
if you have any difficulty in stitching you can secure
the zipper with pins too
when a zipper slider comes you can move it upwards so that you can easily sew
I have not changed the presser foot or used any zipper foot for this
you can easily sew it with the normal sewing machine settings
now both parts have been attached, after stitching this side
turn the wrong sides upward and be sure to open the zipper
else you won't be able to turn right side out
now we have to stitch one the three sides of it
after stitching you can also use the zigzag stitch to over lock the raw edges
this way
we have to stitch these bags
now on this edge be sure to lock the stitches
by stitching 2 or 3 times
now turn the inside out our mesh bag with zipper is ready
these are more durable than the market brought bags
you can easily make them at home
isn't it easy, now at this part
we will make few stitches tie this properly
I am going to use this for storing my embroidery threads
as this is transparent, I will know easily which shades are available to me
if you don't have a sewing machine you can also
stitch these bags by using this stitches
these stitches are equally strong and sturdy like machine stitches
take 2 strands of thread and do these stitches all around
within 10-15 minutes you can sew you own mesh bag
just make small stitches
you can easily sew this from the back side
the stitches look like this
