Skiing In Australia - Duration: 2:08.Welcome to the first ever Australian Summer Skiing
I'm about to go down this hill with ice cubes strapped to my feet
I've worn all black because this is gonna be a piece of art
We've made the ice shoes
Using a scale model, we've carefully run scientific predictions
Our survey revealed that we had the support of the public
And thanks to our careful engineering, no ice made it into the shoes - meaning they
fit perfectly
*screams*
It was time to summer ski
That might have looked like a crash - but it wasn't
That's what we call in summer skiing a 'controlled slide'
My equipment was falling apart
but I was determined to make it down that hill
Just like the Titanic, I thought I was unsinkable
Until I hit an ice cube
Just celebrating an injury free day by enjoying an ice cream in front of the hospital
Oh, did you think that we...
Oh, no sorry - I understand that's confusing
We just thought this would be a nice place to eat

The Biggest Regret In Recent Years (Eng sub click "cc") - Duration: 6:57.안녕! This is Junho. Welcome to my channel.
Do you have something you regret in your life?
Of course, you have.
You regret things because you did something (like I should have invested in Bit Coin earlier)
Or because you didn't do something (I shouldn't have invested in Bit Coin when it went down)
For today, I wanna share my story that I deeply regret
Which is that I didn't go see my grandma on dad's side last thanks giving
Back then, I was mentally broken worrying about my future
So I didn't wanna see or talk to anybody
I made some excuses not to go and I said hi to her only on the phone
But I didn't know that was the last time I could see her in person
Yes, she passed away a few months ago she doesn't have to be sick anymore
I regret a lot that I didn't go see her last Thanks giving
But the bigger regret came a week later
when I found out we never took a picture of just two of us together
Except for this picture
I thought to myself even though I didn't have a quality time with my grandma
I should make unforgettable memories with my grandmother on mom's side before it's too late
So I planed a perfect date and went to her house (buying her flowers, Taking her a fancy restaurant, Watching movies, Taking pictures)
why?
Hey, grandma
why?
where you at?
I'm outside
outside where?
I'm somewhere far, why?
when will you get back?
at late night, why?
No..way...
Okay...I'd better go now
okay
I went without her knowing to surprise her. Why she went somewhere, of all days!
So today, I'm going to her house again!
Would you like to join me?
I bought a flower on the way
I finally got her place
Hey, Mother, Father, Grandmother.
where you at?
I'm home, why?
I'm here
Come on in
You come out! we're going somewhere
We're going somewhere?
Ladies and gentlemean, This is Gi-soon.
We're going on a very ordinary date. you ready?
I love it
Why did you come alone?
then who am I supposed to come with?
Grandma : should have come with other cousins Me : It's a date! what two people do
Okay then
Let's go!
Wait!
This is all the rage with couples.
Knock, Knock, Knock. anybody there?
It's good
I took her a fancy restaurant she wouldn't go in her life
And I wanted to watch Coco with my grandma, which reminds me of the meaning of family again
So I saw the movie with her again
and then we went somewhere to take a picture of two of use so that I can remember this moment forever
You're too short
Throw yourself in my arms
No, I meant like this
what? Are you gonna hold me your arms? No!
why not!
are you out of your mind?
Let's try!
No!
No, What would others think of us? if they see us.
Let's just try!
Come on, grandma!
then I'll give you a piggyback
One, Two, Three!
How was the date today?
I love it
was it good? Of course!
but it was a very ordinary date. Just movies and eating together.
But I still love it
you do? haha
why?
This is the first time in my life that grandson took me out for a date
That's why you love it
Yes
What if I'll remember you in my whole life watching the video we've filmed today? after you pass away.
That'd be awesome!
Do you think you're gonna be happy up there?
Of course
so happy that you're gonna be break dancing?
I feel so happy, Thank you so much
I mean it
please say "I love you"
Saying I love you is not enough to show how I'm happy now
I love you so much
Do you have grandma or grandpa you can have quality time with?
Then before you regret just like me, go make unforgettable memories with them
Maybe it's just an ordinary date for you. But it's not for them.

Volvo Trucks - Automation – The big change - Duration: 4:01.We have three main challenges going forward.
People will live more and more in the cities,
which will lead to congestion, pollution,
and the need for transport will be even higher than today.
Second is road safety, and finally climate change.
I really believe that automation will be one of the main contributors
to solving the challenges we face.
What is automation?
The first thing people think of is a self-driving truck,
but that is not necessarily the case.
We are developing solutions for the driver.
We are developing solutions that will be able to take over tasks from the driver,
as well as solutions to have self-driving trucks.
For us, it's important that all of these solutions
are within the frame of automation.
As a cognitive scientist, I want to understand
how the driver takes on this complex task.
We are running several automation projects today,
spanning from the deepest mine, transport on highways
to a garbage truck in the city.
For us, it's important that as many as possible gain from this technology,
and not only the companies and industries
but also individual citizens and the drivers driving our trucks.
We've been running tests for years,
collecting and analysing a huge amount of data,
covering every scenario we could think of.
We will never release anything that we do not trust.
So when you meet our automated trucks on the road, I want you to feel safe.
We have come up with dozens of innovations,
but it is sometimes the craziest idea that will be the most successful.
Whatever we develop must serve a purpose
for the drivers, our customers and society.
It would be so much easier if I wasn't constantly running from place to place,
and that's what I feel I'm doing.
Whenever I'm in a meeting, I have one eye on the clock.
I'm adding an extra 20 minutes for traffic,
just in case I don't make it back for that school run and my child is left.
So that's a very real worry.
Transportation is really the lifeblood, the pulse,
for business and the people,
and I believe that in the near future
we will start to see self-driving trucks on our roads
transporting goods and starting to become a part of our society.
I foresee that different hubs, it can be a city to another city,
will be connected and we will have autonomous vehicles
most probably in dedicated lanes at nighttime.
In the city centres, in urban areas, we will have smaller, quiet vehicles,
and through that we will create a future transport ecosystem
where everything will be connected.
It's exciting to know that that sort of technology is on the horizon,
that we are going to have driverless safer vehicles,
we're going to have cleaner, more efficient vehicles.
What does it take to trust the next step in technology?
I think we need faith.
We're having drones. We have far more automated machinery.
We're going to start seeing that sort of innovation in all sorts of areas.
So I think we just need to be brave enough to accept the next step.

LARP Review #2: Freyhand - Duration: 2:11.Hi everyone Evils, welcome to the second review of Eviltailors products
I'm Arenz and today we're going to talk about Freyhand
A german brand specialised on LARP weapons
but they also produce accessories and clothing
On the first part of the video we'll talk about the technical features of the products
and after that we'll talk about who is Freyhand
At the moment Freyhand has three collections
Regular, Mad Prices and Zombie Survival
The products of the Regular collection are between the 60 and 100€
They're well balanced and have a good quality and detailed finishing
I think the weapons of the Regular collection have a good weight
they're resistant and designed to be secure
they count with a full functional guard
an ergonomic grip and a pommel where is all the balance and it's a bit hard
Now we'lll see the Mad Prices collection: affordable, with a very good finishing
perfect for LARP begginers
In my opinion the Mad Prices weapons are light, resistant and are very versatile for any kind of character
As final conclusion we must emphasize that they have a great quiality-cost relation
Lastly, the Zombie Survival collection
which has a quality very similar to the regular ones, perfect for any apocalyptic scene
And now as special guest here's Pau Romero, Eviltailor's director
my boss
what's up Pau?
Hi Arenz, hi everyone
What can you tell us about Freyhand?
I must tell you that Freyhan is directed by Kai Schulz
they're based in Hamburg
And they decided to enter the sales with
a very economical collection such as the Mad Prices one
and a collection with a very high quiality standards like the regular one
We'll wait to see how Freyhand develops in this competitive market
and which are their next steps and the next surprises they've prepared for us
Thanks a lot Pau!
We'll hear again about Freyhand on a brand new video about their clothing and shields products
Thanks to you for inviting me
See you soon, Evils!

CHIMERE // Sandrine Piau & Susan Manoff - Duration: 6:06.The chimera is actually a mythological animal,
but for the programme we were obviously thinking
from a subjective point of view
about this name and its particular colour.
For me, the chimera means an illusion.
That is, the idea of vanished illusions,
dreams that don't become reality
that definitely gives it a rather sad and mournful hue.
'Ach neige…' - that song has a highly romantic simplicity about it,
true, but to an extent it's also about the nakedness of being.
Loewe was such a revelation to me,
I simply find that song enormously touching.
There's a sense of humanity in its distress and in the way
it treats the pain of sadness that touches me deeply.
Sandrine is somebody who works tremendously hard,
and at the same time she has a constant hunger
for whatever is new,
for finding new paths.
Each of us had songs or Lieder or particular directions that we found really important,
indispensable even.
The Debussy is very French,
it's the kind of elegance you have when you do something that's amusing
and a bit oddball – but without exaggerating it, and doing it in a rather dreamlike way.
The chimera, the world of illusion: it's not always sad,
but it's as if you're heading straight towards something, but then it goes pop like a champagne bubble.
Susan totally helped me discover all the American and English repertoire.
Susan totally helped me discover all the American and English repertoire.
It's a meeting that doesn't actually take place.
It's this absolute confrontation
between day and night, with moonlight,
everything that's subdued, muted…
The whole history of twilight
is a theme in which the sense of the illusory truly weaves ...
its web.
Yes, I find the Barber magical, because it has that kind of elegance,
also the text is incredible…
The setting is a hotel, one isn't told much about it:
there's this young woman who returns to the hotel, then leaves again – she writes just a couple of words, then she hurries out.
The young man reappears, takes up the note, reads the words.
You have the impression of a meeting that might have happened, but the opportunity was missed:
it's like a little moment from life.
And later in the programme there's a Poulenc song along the same lines: a woman is talked about, but all that remains of her is her atmosphere.
on parle d'une femme et qui n'est plus qu'un parfum
We've no idea of what's become of her, we just don't know…
So it was interesting to have these bridges between these different cultures.
And this also meant we could have highly contrasting colours,
from Loewe's song 'Ach neige' right across the spectrum to the piece by Barber:
vocally too, it's tremendously stimulating to have different colours and
different ways of singing.

Oscars' Shots - "Phantom Thread" - Duration: 3:06.Paul Thomas Anderson remains one of the most radical formalists of American cinema,
that's why it's worth at first to take a few words about his creative tactics.
Anderson plays with the viewer's perception, which is accustomed to the melodramatic construction of the movies.
Melodramatic in the sense of classical three-acts construction, definitely dominant in the cinema in general.
The director intentionally disturbs this widespread pattern of cause and effect narrative,
trying to show new events from the perspective of time,
each time re-evaluating the reality saw at the end of the previous sequence.
In this way, the viewer is kept in the active position all the time,
it requires uninterrupted perceptual activity,
in order not to get lost in history, the viewer must be attentive, he must pay attention to the smallest details,
which may indicate new, previously unknown events.
Therefore, Anderson's films may seem tiring, incoherent, ripped
and they often reject less experienced recipients.
Although, this style has shown that the director can discover new contexts
in quite well-known schemes.
It's the same situation with his latest movie, "Phantom Thread" (2017),
which shows the face of a very deceitful melodrama.
Anderson takes us into the world of the fashion of the 1950s.
In its very center is the well-known House of Woodcock, which belongs to popular tailor of royal families,
celebrities, higher society Reynolds Woodcock (Daniel Day-Lewis) and his sister Cyril.
Reynolds is a man in his prime of life, very focused on his work, which he loves above anything else.
Even above the passion towards women, who have appeared through his life quite often
being the inspiration for his best collections,
but none of them ever managed to get him out of his total dedication to his work.
Until he sees the raw beauty of Alma (Vikki Krieps),
who will show much greater motivation in Reynolds' ensnare from any of hers predecessors.
The plot seems quite trivial, it may give the impression of being imitative,
but thanks to the great staging of Anderson and the perfect acting in the leading roles,
"Phantom Thread" brings out new motifs, creating a ambiguous story about the specificity of love.
Love that has its roots in the childhood of the main character and - taken from Freudian theories -
his relationship with his dead mother, whose reflection he finds in the face of Alma.
For most of the screening, Anderson asks questions about the basics of the couple's love,
to show in the finale the image of degenerate attempts to sustain the feeling.
As if the director asked at the end: how much you can sacrifice,
or you sacrifice every day, to fuel this feeling of warmth in your heart?
