Waching daily Oct 1 2018

hey guys it's Philip welcome back to the channel I'm finally back in Wellington

New Zealand currently staying with my friends trying to find an apartment and

get settled down but my friend's room is gonna have to do for today so the

question I'm answering today is this protein powder are necessary and is it

something worth investing your money in when most of you think of the words

supplement you probably think of protein powder protein powder is synonymous with

building muscle losing fat it's the most popular supplement out there

however protein powder isn't really a supplement it's more of a food but it's

just called the supplement so we're gonna call it a supplement because that

makes things easy so within every health sore supplement

store protein powder is gonna be everywhere and that's because it sells

so well people seem to have this idea that protein powder is going to give you

results but as many of you know if you're not going to the gym and you

start consuming protein powder you're not automatically going to build

muscle because of that all protein powder is is an efficient way to get and

more protein in your diet without many calories typically one scoop of protein

powder is gonna is gonna have 25 grams of protein on average maybe a bit less

maybe a bit more and it's gonna deliver that protein with only a hundred and

fifty calories or so give or take and that's why it's so effective for fat

loss because you can meet your protein requirements retain on to your muscle

while you're losing fat and at the same time still have more room for food to

eat however protein powder isn't necessary and you don't need to be

drinking protein shakes all the time even if you're lifting heavy weights

here's the reason why your results are going to be primarily dictated by the

total amount of calories you consume as well as the total amount of protein you

consume carbs and fat are also important but it's mainly about your calories and

your protein let's say you have 2500 calories for the day and 170 grams of

protein that you're trying to meet you're going to get the exact same

results whether you meet these requirements through unhealthy foods you

know protein shakes it doesn't really matter where you're getting the

sources from yes of course it matters to choose natural foods to get more

nutrients and vitamins micronutrients of course that's important but in general

for body composition it doesn't really matter where your food is coming from as

long as you're hitting the required numbers that you're trying to meet so

that's the point if you're consuming enough protein from real food sources

like chicken egg peas chickpeas whatever sources of protein as long as you're

hitting the number you're trying to meet then protein powder isn't gonna give you

any sort of magical result the reason why it's handy is because sometimes

depending on your protein intake especially if it's high it's difficult

to meet that requirement just from food and it's really easy to just simply have

two scoops of protein and get 50 grams of protein instead of having to eat a

big steak which has twice three times as many more calories and takes much longer

to prepare and consume so that's why protein powder is useful

there isn't anything inherently magic about it you're gonna see many claims

about certain types of protein powders being more rapidly absorbed in the body

for example whey protein is absorbs quicker into the body right hence why

it's usually advocated to be consumed after workout while Castine protein is

slower digesting which is why the classic bodybuilding recommendations say

that you should consume it before bed to keep amino acid levels raised and to

prevent a catabolic state however this does not really matter as long as you're

getting protein from plant and animal based sources you're going to be getting

enough amino acids protein timing doesn't really matter that much

absorption rate doesn't really matter that much the majority of the research

shows that as long as you're consuming the amount you're trying to eat right

and you're following the other basic principles like a calorie deficit or

surplus strength training progressive overload these are the factors which are

gonna determine 99 percent of your results so focus on getting your protein

from real food as your first priority and don't go out and buy protein powder

because you want to gain more muscle by it if you want if you have spare money

and then if you don't meet your requirements or some on some days if

you're in a rush that's when it makes sense to consume

some so that's it for the video just basically a breakdown on why personally

I don't really consume protein powder and why I don't recommend it for the

majority of people food is your best bet and you should just be focusing on that

as your first priority the only times where it's really gonna be useful to

have protein powder as if you're in a big rush one day you don't get enough

from food you're vegan or vegetarian because it's more difficult to get as

much protein all you just have a super super high protein requirement because

that's simply what works best for you now I have a question for you are you

ready to make a transformation to your body into your life and get the body

your voice dreamed of get nice and lean and just have that sexy ripped body that

you you just haven't been able to get after years and years of trying if

Essence of Murli 02-10-2018 - Duration: 7:07.

Om Shanti !

Today's Murli Date Is 2nd October 2018

( Shiv Baba made Brahma like self. Now both that is Baapdada is making us worthy of worship )

(So lets hear what sweet sweet Baapdada has to say to us)

Essence: Sweet children, from being worshippers you are now becoming worthy of worship.

From being beggars you are becoming princes.

Therefore, you should be dancing and jumping with joy. You should never cry.

Question:In order to make Bharatwealthy in what aspect does the Father make you equal to Himself by showering imperishable jewels of knowledge on you?

Answer: Baba says: Children, just as I am Rup Basant, so I also make you rup basant.

Imbibe the imperishable jewels of knowledge you have received and donate them through your mouths.

( As such donations are made through hands. However we need to donate good words through our mouth )

It is by your making this great donation that Bharat will become wealthy.

Just as you are claiming your inheritance from the Father, so you have to enable others to receive it in the same way.

It is your duty to show the path to everyone and become those who bestow happiness.

Song: On the path of justice.

Essence for dharna: 1. In order to sit on the Father's heart throne, take responsibility for service.

You definitely have to become great donors.

There is no harm if some expense is incurred in donating knowledge.

2. This is a very steep ascent and you must therefore be very cautious.

Continue to take shrimat at every step.

Blessing: May you be a true embodiment of tapasya sitting in the cottage of the forehead and experience the sweetness of introspection.

The children who control their words and thereby save their energy and time automatically experience the sweetness of introspection.

There is the difference of day and night between the sweetness of introspection and the sweetness of talking and moving around.

Someone who is introverted constantly experiences himself to be an image of tapasya seated in the cottage of the forehead.

Such a soul observes silence of the mind and does not have waste thoughts or speak words through the mouth.

Therefore, there is the alokik experience of the sweetness of introspection.

Slogan: Those who understand all secrets and remain happy in all adverse situations are enlightened souls.

To the sweetest lucky stars, love, remembrance and good morning from the Sun and the Moon of Knowledge.

The spiritual Father says namaste to the spiritual children.

We spiritual children convey to spiritual Baapdada, our love our remembrance, our good morning & our namaste namaste

Om Shanti !

Remains of 64 South Korean war dead repatriated after 68 years - Duration: 1:49.

The remains of 64 South Korean soldiers killed during the war that divided a nation in two

were returned to their homeland, in time for the 70th Armed Forces Day celebrations.

According to our Park Hee-jun, the process was very complicated... requiring Seoul and

Washington to conduct joint identification tests three times.

South Korea held a repatriation ceremony for the remains of 64 soldiers,... who died during

the Korean War nearly 70 years ago.

It was attended by President Moon Jae-in,... who paid individual tribute before each basket

of remains, and awarded them with Korean War medals.

He was joined by sixty other people, including Jeong Kyeong-doo, the nation's defense minister,

Vincent Brooks, the head of the United Nations Command, and Korean War veterans.

The remains were excavated through joint operations by North Korea and the U.S.,... between 1996

and 2005 in the North's Hamgyeongnam-do and Pyeongannam-do provinces.

Believed to be troops who fought alongside U.S. forces,... they were transferred to the

Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency in Hawaii for identification.

Through joint identification tests conducted by South Korea and the U.S., three times in

2011, 2015, and 2018,... it was verified that the remains were those of South Korean troops

who fought during the Korean War.

A repatriation ceremony for the war dead,... was held in Hawaii where South Korea's Vice

Defense Minister Suh Choo-suk accepted the remains from the DPAA.

The 64 sets of bodies were then,... finally returned home on Sunday.

After respects were paid to the fallen war heroes at the ceremony,... the remains were

sent to the defense ministry's Agency for Killed In Action Recovery and Identification.

It will try to identify the individuals so that they can once again be reunited with

their families.

S. Korea commemorates soldiers on 70th Armed Forces Day - Duration: 1:27.

Each soldier's service and sacrifices were remembered today.

The main event took place this evening in Seoul at the War Memorial of Korea.

Kan Hyeong-woo brings us the highlights This year's Armed Forces Day event began with

a ceremonial performance by a guard of honor... and traditional music from a military band.

Held at night for the first time, this year's ceremony was carried live by a number of national

broadcasters.

Seoul's top office had decided that more people would be able to watch the event in the evening

and appreciate the service of South Korea's military.

After soldiers put on a Taekwondo performance... to multiple rounds of applause, The military

displayed its future combat systems such as the Army's warrior platform... and the dronebots

and unmanned battle machines of the Navy and Air Force.

To audience's delight, South Korea's famous aerobatic team, the "Black Eagles," also put

on a special air show.

In order to minimize the participation of active-duty service members, whose preparation

would've taken months, the government invited world famous K-pop star, Gangnam Style's very

own Psy.

""South Korea's defense ministry chose not to show off its military arsenal with a large

parade.

Instead, this year's ceremony was more in line with the current peace-building atmosphere

on the Korean Peninsula.

Kan Hyeong-woo, Arirang News."

A Person with Alopecia (Lexi) | Kids Meet | HiHo Kids - Duration: 4:18.

- Do you use shampoo?

- No (laughs).

I just use body wash.

(calm clarinet music)

Hi.

- Hi.

(both laugh)

- What's your name?

- My name's Lexi.

- Lexi, I'm Lennox.

- Hi.

- It's nice to meet you.

I like your cat ears.

- Thank you.

I like your earrings.

- Thank you.

Do you know why we're here today?

(both laugh)

- No not really.

- No?

Do you notice anything about me?

(Lexi groans awkwardly)

You can say yes.

- That you don't have hair.

- Yeah.

Yeah, I don't have any hair.

Have you ever seen a bald person before?

- On movies.

- On movies?

Do you know why any of them were bald?

- One of them has cancer.

Do you have cancer?

- No I don't have cancer.

I do have a health related reason for why I'm bald,

but it's not cancer.

It's called alopecia.

- Alopecia?

- Alopecia

- Alopecia

- Yeah.

My immune system thinks that my hair is an intruder,

it thinks that it's bad, so it fights my hair follicles.

So my hair fell out when I was 15,

and now it doesn't really grow.

- So your body thinks it's like bad?

- Yeah, basically.

It's kind of complicated.

(both laugh)

Yeah.

- What was it like when, like,

when you were going to school losing your hair?

- It was really scary.

My hair looked a lot like your hair.

I shaved all of my hair off after I had been losing my hair.

I didn't like watching it happen anymore,

and it was too hard.

So the day that I shaved my head,

I went to school the next day

and I stood in front of my classes

and I told everybody about alopecia

so that they wouldn't feel scared of me

and so that I wouldn't feel scared of them.

And everyone was really kind to me,

which is pretty rare and really special

because sometimes people can be mean in school, you know?

- Will your hair come back?

- I don't think so, but it's possible.

Some people go into what they call a natural remission

which means that your body, somehow,

decides that it's not going to happen anymore

and that you can grow hair again.

But I probably won't grow hair in my life.

- Do you ever wish you had all your hair back?

- Sometimes I do.

Sometimes I wake up from a dream

and I think that I have my hair back

but that doesn't happen very much.

Usually I just, I'm happy that I'm myself

because I like being myself.

Do you think that you could imagine losing your hair?

- No.

I'd be really sad.

- Do you think that you would still feel girly?

- I feel girly no matter what.

- Oh.

(both laugh)

- What's your job?

- I'm a model.

Yeah.

(laughing)

Are you surprised?

- A little bit.

- Yeah?

That's okay.

What do you picture when think of a model?

- They have hair and they're always like

doing something with it.

- Yeah, you're right.

- Do you like modeling?

- Yeah.

Sometimes it's kind of scary and I feel kind of nervous

and sometimes I feel kind of alone

because a lot of models are tall or they have hair

and they do stuff with it, like you said

but I also really like it

because it's different than any job I've ever done.

It's more fun and creative.

Would you ever wanna be a model?

(laughing)

Is that a yes?

- Yes.

- It was really nice to meet you.

Thank you.

- You're welcome.

- Bye.

- [Producer] Good job Lexi.

- I'm Lennox.

'Vành Đai Con Đường' Trung Quốc Hủy Hoại Campuchia? | Trung Quốc Không Kiểm Duyệt - Duration: 8:45.

On this episode of China Uncensored,

prostitution and gambling?!

Now that's an investment!

Hi, welcome back to China Uncensored.

I'm your host Chris Chappell.

You know, people love a good story.

And there are really only a handful of stories

that get told over and over again.

Boy meets girl,

hero goes on a quest,

Chinese Communist Party buries a country in a debt trap.

Yeah, that last one never gets old.

In fact, it's being repeated once again in Cambodia.

Chinese investment is everywhere.

Because Cambodia's Prime Minister Hun Sen loves Chinese investment.

Hun Sen used to a member of the Khmer Rouge--

the communist regime that killed millions of Cambodians in the 1970s.

But don't worry, he left the Khmer Rouge...

to avoid being purged.

And then he became prime minister of Cambodia.

For the next 33 years.

Now after leaving the Khmer Rouge,

he had once called China "the root of everything evil."

But you know, after being dictator of Cambodia for three decades,

and forcing the supreme court to dissolve the main opposition party,

...and winning a sham election again and again,

...your attitude toward the Chinese Communist Party changes a bit.

Sure, they supported the Khmer Rouge that literally killed

a quarter of your fellow countrymen in the 70s,

but now the Chinese Communist Party wants to support you!

Water under the bridge!

Bodies under the floorboards!

Because the Chinese regime is supporting Hun Sen with a lot of money.

Cambodia is one of the poorest countries in southeast Asia.

They struggle with basic power and sanitation issues.

But in just four years,

China had invested over 5 billion dollars in Cambodia.

That's more money than Cambodia's own government

invested in the country during that time.

The Chinese Communist Party even pledged 100 million dollars in military aid.

All this is tied to Chinese leader Xi Jinping's Belt and Road Initiative,

a trillion-dollar project with the goal of

connecting countries around the world with China.

Now all that sounds good, right?

Well, it's kind of like how the McRib sounds good.

Looks delicious right?

Until you go just beneath the surface and realize that bun

is made out of the same stuff they use to make yoga mats.

And yet, even though Chinese investment is a giant multibillion dollar McRib,

authoritarian dictators can't help but say, "I'm lovin' it."

So to look into China's McRib in Cambodia,

we hired a local to shoot some footage for us

in the sleepy seaside town of Sihanoukville.

Well, it's not so sleepy anymore.

Chinese investment has been flooding in,

in the form of skyscrapers, bridges, hotels,

casinos, restaurants and apartment blocks.

Construction is going on 24/7.

China has pumped in over a billion dollars here.

A joint-country economic zone has been set up

that has brought in hundreds of Chinese companies,

some owned by the Chinese government.

The southern coast of Cambodia is now home to more than four billion dollars

worth of Chinese power plants and offshore oil operations.

Sihanoukville is also becoming a lynchpin for China's Belt and Road Initiative.

A new highway will connect the city to China's vast global trade network.

Not only that, in June, a one billion dollar joint venture between

a Chinese-Malaysian company was announced that will create a massive resort,

complete with water parks, hotels, and even more casinos and malls.

Ha, sounds like a knock off Disney World.

What are they going to call it, Wisney World?

Haha, what's that Shelley?

Are you kidding me?!

That is what they're calling it?!

Well, I guess it will be the wappiest place on Earth.

Now obviously, all this investment has brought some benefits.

And "Cambodian workers on Chinese construction sites

earn three times what they used to on local projects."

But no matter how good this McRib looks from the outside,

on the inside it's still yoga mats.

The same story that has played out in countries may be replaying here.

Although the roads in Sihanoukville may not have as many potholes as before,

now they're being used by Chinese nouveau riche driving Mercedes.

Chinese nationals have flooded Sihanoukville--

rich business owners, as well as workers.

Chinese make up about 20% of the population now.

And they don't mix with the local Cambodians.

Many of the new jobs go to Chinese immigrants,

who are driving up housing and food prices,

which then drive out the local Cambodians.

Rooms that once went for 500 dollars a month now cost 4500 dollars.

And all those casinos?

The Cambodians can't use them.

Because it's actually illegal for Cambodians to gamble.

In fact, a Cambodian man recently won 130,000 dollars at a casino,

but the Chinese owner refused to pay him because of the law.

Although I'm sure if the Cambodian guy had lost 130,000 dollars,

the Chinese casino owner might have been a bit more flexible.

Anyway, all the gambling has brought some...

shall we say...less than legitimate business.

Like prostitution.

And increasing crime.

And according to the regional governor,

it's "in part due to an influx of 'Chinese mafia [who] disguise themselves

to commit various crimes and kidnap Chinese investors [...]

causing insecurity in the province.'"

Now this isn't exactly making the locals very happy.

In fact, ethnic tension is on the rise.

I don't want to see the Chinese

do whatever they want in Sihanoukville

or the whole country of Cambodia.

Not only that, but they create crime.

They break into cars.

There are now Chinese thieves who steal in Sihanoukville.

They are involved in the drug trade, in murders.

City authorities aren't capable of controlling their criminal activity.

And guess what?

All this development in Sihanoukville

also includes a 99-year lease on a deep water port nearby--

a port that could eventually be used by the Chinese navy.

Wait, where have I heard that before?

Oh yeah.

Vietnam.

And Sri Lanka.

So if all of this sounds familiar, it should.

This is a pattern we see worldwide as the Chinese Communist Party

comes in with their bags of money:

Promise big investment, build a bunch of things,

"oops it wrecked the local economy and now you're deep in debt",

"no problem, hand it over to us, ok?"

But if the Chinese regime and Hun Sen aren't careful in Cambodia,

it could actually backfire on them.

Sure, Prime Minister Hun Sen seems powerful now,

Cambodia could one day see a situation like Malaysia--

where a corrupt prime minister gets kicked out in favor of

a new guy who rejects Chinese investment.

And that could have serious ramifications for the future of the Belt and Road.

So what do you think?

Leave your comments below.

And now it's once again time for me to answer a question from a fan

who supports China Uncensored on the crowd funding website Patreon.

The GunSlinger has a question for the China Uncensored crew:

"what hobbies do you have in your free time?

Any activities you do outside of your two news channels?

Haha, free time.

Between China Uncensored,

America Uncovered, the China Unscripted Podcast

and the America Uncovered podcast,

I don't have a whole lot of it.

But, with what little free time I do have,

I like learning more about China and its culture.

I meet friends at a traditional Chinese tea house.

I read books about China.

I practice Chinese martial arts.

I also make steak.

Shelley, what do you do in your free time?

You kick butt and chew bubblegum?

And you're all out of bubble gum?

Huh.

Thanks for your question.

Two thousand, but there's a little more since we have more subscribers

Hehe

All of YOU are right here!

What do we need for this Pillow Project, Roxy?

We need cotton balls!

Fleece

Scissors

And don't forget an adult to cut things

Let's get started on this

First line up your fleece like this

Next...

Measure and Cut.

Next we're going to add something a little special

That's our logo!

This painting took a hour to dry

Here's how mom added the logo

She made a stencil, place it in the middle...

...sprayed on the paint...

Ta-Da!

Now that's it dry, we can line them up and start cutting the fringe.

Measure 3 inches and cut the fringe...

1 inch all the way around

Start tying the two sides together

Once you get three sides tied...

...add your stuffing

We're using cotton balls

We recommend you use a pillow, because this is just a cover.

Now that the 2,061 subscribers are inside...

...you tie the side closed.
