Being tired from time to time is normal,

but if you feel tired all the time,

then something may need fixing.

I've turned the word "tired" into an acronym...

so that it's easier for you to remember:

T.I.R.E.D.

Now let's examine each letter one by one.

"T" stands for "Too much comparison".

Believe it or not,

it's not "too much work"

that makes you feel truly tired;

it's too much comparison.

There are many people in this world...

who work really hard,

but don't feel that sense of gnawing weariness

all the time...

because they don't constantly...

compare themselves to...

what they see on television or social media.

Exhaustion comes from comparison,

so maybe you don't necessarily have to work less,

but you have to compare less...

and appreciate your life more.

"I" stands for "Imbalanced life"

Balance is a building block of a healthy life.

If you don't balance your work with exercise,

rest and recreation,

then exhaustion will build up...

until you feel like life is just...

an unending rat-race.

Just look at animals in the wild,

and you'll see that they understand balance.

They don't hunt or gather food all the time,

that's why they never die...

from stress-related issues like we do.

"R" stands for "Repetitive routine"

Repetitive routine kills creativity...

and breeds exhaustion,

so try incorporating new things into your life...

from time to time.

Seek out new places to go,

new people to meet

or new activities to do.

Step out of your comfort zone and...

face your fears.

Make a bucket list and try to complete it.

Remember...

novelty will always boost your energy.

"E" stands for "Energy-draining negativity"

Blaming and complaining...

may seem like behaviors that...

should help you feel less tired,

yet interestingly enough...

they actually have the opposite effect.

Also, consuming a lot of negative information

and being around people...

who are predominantly negative...

will also make you feel much more exhausted.

"D" stands for "Despair"

You feel despair when you have no dream,

passion or purpose.

However,

if you work hard for something...

you are passionate about...

or for a cause that you truly believe in,

then, although you might feel physically tired,

you will not be mentally exhausted.

So find that passion and purpose,

and exhaustion will not be able to find you.

I hope this acronym...

will guide you towards a life...

with more energy and less tiredness.

LA MAFIA KOSOVAR EN PRIZREN || Balcanes | Alex Corral - Duration: 7:06.

Good morning and welcome to the city of Prizren in Kosovo, the hot city of Prizren.

For the ones who don't know me I'm Alex Corral @alexpressco on instagram and the one

that's coming along in this trip through the Balkans in Eastern Europe is Arrate Arana.

He forgets my name in this heat. The thing is we've just come from down there,

see that bridge over there? From there to here. To up here, the top of the mountain.

As I said we're in Prizren, Kosovo's second largest city, and they say this is

the most heterogeneous city in Kosovo, as apart from the Kosovar-Albanian people here live

Serbians, Bosnians and most of all Turkish. The biggest part of Prizren's population is muslim,

as it can be seen in the many mosques that are here.

In recent history, after the Kosovo war,

there were two days in 2004 in which there was a general unrest in all of Kosovo,

and Prizren was one of the cities that suffered the most as Kosovar-Albanians started

to destroy everything that wasn't Albanian: Serbian orthodox churches, mosques and all.

Most of these monuments survived the unrest. Because of this conflict

and out of fear of this happening again there's security in every

orthodox church and mosque now.

Yesterday we were in the apartment and I had the doubt

about how Kosovar politics are. I've researched and they have a President

and a Prime Minister. The President, Hashim Thaçi, used to be the leader of the KLA,

and the Prime Minister is now Ramush Haradinaj. What's curious about this? This man is considered

one of Kosovo's biggest terrorists. During the war he was a part of the KLA,

the Kosovo Liberation Army, of which we talked in the previous video in Pristina.

He is considered one of the leaders of the Kosovar mafia and he is part

of a political party he created called Alliance for Kosovo's Future.

He was judged for war crimes in 2004 by The Hague Tribunal. And what's curious about this?

There were 10 people set to declare against him, because he allegedly killed

a lot of people in a Serbian village and 40 bodies were found there. Out of the 10 witnesses

9 died before the trial took place, well they didn't exactly die, two were run over by a car,

three died in a terrorist attack, two were shot in the street… and only one was left alive.

They also tried to kill this one but out of fear he decided he wasn't going to testify

so the current Prime Minister of Kosovo was set free. In 2012 The Hague Tribunal tried to

judge Haradinaj again but he was eventually set free

as no one dared to testify against him.

And this is what's curious about the current Prime Minister of Kosovo. I don't know how politics are here but

the Prime Minister is a little sketchy.

And with this heat we are going to have lunch, we don't know

where or what yet, but something cold.

We have to say that Prizren is quite touristic,

so you have to avoid the main street that's full of tourists because it will probably be more expensive.

Take one of the small parallel roads and you'll end up where we are.

If you come to Kosovo order a Somun, that's basically a pita bread

stuffed with things, and a side salad.

We were eating minding our own business when… I'm scared.

We just ate two huge plates and two beers for 6€.

The sun has set in Prizren. We have realised… I mean we aren't all the time recording with the camera

because otherwise it'll be normal but we're walking in the street and everyone,

well the men because there are no women around, sitting on the cafes and watching

the people walk and of course as we are foreigners they look at us from head to toe, it's incredible.

We read that because of the wars they were very distrustful…

what's happening here?

What we were saying, there are a lot of men, because they are only men,

drinking coffee in the terraces. Look, to my left there are two or three men

that are probably looking at us like what are these two weirdoes doing.

They go out to drink coffee, meet people and talk, make friends and observe

what's going on in the street which in this case are two tourists with burnt faces.

As you can see I've burnt my nose and I've burnt my neck. This is because I forgot to put on sunscreen

and because we've been out on the worst hours of sun.

My recommendation for for the people that want to come to the Balkans is to avoid those hours and go eat,

have a nap… that's if you come in summer of course. And then you go out in the evening because right now

at dusk there's an amazing temperature. And the city is exactly the same. So, recommendation for the Balkans:

avoid the hours of most sun and heat.

you've had some practice yes I have so you have the power to do anything that

would make the world safer easier for entrepreneurs you could increase capital

you could make you get rid of regulations what would you do deal with

income equality because it's creating a risk factor that hurts everybody if you

have to worry about whether or not there's going to be riots or instability

where your businesses are that's an unquantifiable risk I deal

with patents every companies getting sued for patents for the most ridiculous

dumb shit ever you know I mean I heard somebody say that in the 80s when Apple

had been in business more than 10 years they had one patent you know you know

back in the day people just competed if you look at you know Intel when there

were clones of Intel processors you know IBM clone Compaq or whatever you

couldn't do any of that today because of all the patent wars so I would change

that I would simplify the administrivia to start a business so there's just single forms so

you don't have to you know apply in every municipality or pay taxes in every

municipality so you know simplification be key but people talk about taxes as

being just just I mean there's no shortage of people wanting to start

businesses but there's a lot of things we could do are there things that

government does that get in the way of entrepreneurs you just mentioned one

rarely it rarely I mean people here because they're starting businesses you

can bitch about taxes too high you know rent too damn high whatever the case may

be it's not stopping anybody well they might do things the government people

who say that you don't see that and there are there are a lot of talking

halfway so we've got to get government out

all entrepreneurs right y'all consider did y'all think about tax rates before

you became an entrepreneur one time yeah guess I would draw my question well how

about access to capital that's a big problem it's been a problem for a lot of

people easy to raise money we just talked about there being people get that

let me rephrase what I said earlier somebody is writing a check to some kids

or adult kids seventy year old kids right with an idea not even a product

yet who isn't even really in business yet valued their business at eight

million dollars and they gave them money knowing that they should immediately

mark it down to zero there's no shortage of capital you know now part of the

problem is he going back to government that if you've got new you've got no

place else to put it to make money that creates issues right I'm happy to pick

on my buddies at the SEC the idiots over there you know because of what they've

done every time they screw up they don't

catch Madoff they don't catch Enron that you know there's an overreaction and

there's too many laws too many regulations so as a result we've seen

the number of public companies drop in half over the last fifteen years right

we've seen there's only been what four IPOs this so far this year just think

about that right it is literally crazy all those people working for private

companies that you know 15 20 years ago would have gone public with 25 30 40

million dollars in revenue that would have an opportunity to make more money

there would be investment opportunities that are liquid as opposed to throwing

your money away right those are gone because of the SCC right yet they wanted

like two people for insider trading put aside me right because I just

torched their ass but a guy sitting here this is what your SEC government dollars

are doing so there's a guy I think it was an Illinois railroad company he

would go to work and there were all these limousines that were pulling up

it's like what are these limousines don't were in the middle of nowhere it's

a real crook he figures out there's a good chance someone's trying to buy my

company so he buy stock options on the company

all we did SEC sued him for insider trading

the FCC's job is to make it as he knew something but not because he observes or

something exactly the FCC's job is supposed to be to make people trust the

stock market more this is CNBC well how many people here think the stock market

is safer today than it was 10 years ago and not a lot of hands right that's all

you need to know you know so people based off what the SEC is doing nobody

thinks the market is safer based off the number of IPOs it's not easier to raise

capital by a longshot right it's certainly not there's not

more confidence from the inside or out so they've failed at everything that

they're designed to do and that has had a huge huge impact on the economy every

one of these companies like 20 years ago when I was getting started I the end

game was hey we might be able to go public the number of IPO is priced at

under 80 million dollars raising capital under 80 mil has dropped like 80 percent

in 20 years now they're coming out with it reg a plus we'll see how that works

right but they've screwed it up even more because now that's going to be

crowd funded which means there's no liquidity they're just you know if you

get rid of the the enforcement side of the SEC I think the economy would boom

but but you know I'm happy to jump on them but the reality is we and maybe I

misanswered your earlier question we need to make it easier to go to the next

level of capital raising right it's not so much what the government is doing

it's with how the SEC is screwed it up because we don't have a natural

progression for all the entrepreneurs here 15 years ago 20 years ago there was

a natural progression right you didn't have to go out and keep on raising money

privately you knew that if you got to some level of profitability or you knew

that if you could create awareness and had a decent company you could go public

raise 25 million dollars and that creates incremental capital available to

you and it also allows your employees to benefit it creates more awareness for

your company there's just so many good things that can happen but now know

there's just so many rules regulations and problems with it now we've taken

that whole segment of opportunity and the SEC has kicked it to the curb

See Thru Engine on Turbo Nitro and Dyno (How much HP does it make?) - Duration: 18:04.

Welcome back to Warped perception.

This is episode 5 of the see-through engine series.

If you haven't seen any of the previous episodes.

And you want to watch those first.

They're all in the series playlist.

In chronological order.

If not I'm going to jump right into it.

And bring you up to speed.

Now in the previous episode I try to blow this engine up.

By running nitromethane.

With aggressive timing.

And just pure RPM.

And to my surprise the only thing that happened.

Is that it blew a head gasket.

now this is the engine with new head gaskets installed.

A new transparent head.

Oh and I changed the oil.

that's how the oil looks from the last episode.

Wow that's strange it's kind of like jelly.

Look at that.

I don't know what that is.

But that's what we have left over from the nitromethane blow-up attempt.

There's some metal shavings and stuff in there.

But nothing really crazy.

Now before anything I'm going to start this engine up.

And show you that it's in perfect running condition.

Before moving on.

That sucker has compression look at that.

It's vaporizing.

all right as you can see the engine is in perfect working condition.

Even after all that abuse.

Now that we know the engine runs.

I'm going to up the ante and add nitromethane.

Aggressive timing.

A turbocharger.

And last but not least a dyno.

So we can measure the performance of the engine every step of the way.

And see which modification makes the biggest difference.

first thing I have to do build the dynamometer.

I decided to go low-tech and build a literal brake Dyno. out of a basic disc brake kit.

Some creativity.

And a bit of Machining.

I think my Dyno design.

Is going to make it really easy for anybody to understand.

What horsepower is.

And how it's measured.

This Dyno is also going to allow me to load the engine.

As well as track the horsepower output.

Through each modification.

To see which one is making the biggest difference.

So the brake Dyno is installed.

And like I said before.

This is a literal brake Dyno. so I am literally going to be measuring how much brake horsepower

this engine is making.

And if you're not familiar with what horsepower is.

Horsepower is work over time.

And 1 horsepower equals lifting 33000 lb.

A distance of 1 foot.

In 1 minute.

to calculate the horsepower.

We need to know how many foot pounds of torque it's producing.

Now 1 foot pound of torqueperiod is created by one pound of force.

Acting at a perpendicular distance of 1 foot from the Pivot Point.

The Pivot Point here is our crankshaft.

But in this case the distance from the center point of that shaft.

To this pin up here.

Is exactly 6 inches.

come up with since we have 6 in whatever measurement we come up with.

Will just divide that in half.

And that will be how many foot pounds the brake is generating. and last but not least

the way with that we're going to apply pressure to the brake rotor.

Is with this master cylinder right here.

And the way this works is I kind of rig this up.

So we can turn it And lock it into each position.

a place your bets right now is that how much horsepower does engine can make.

Because we're about to see.

I'm going to the control the throttle.

While Diana gradually increases the master cylinder pressure.

Increasing the load on the engine.

Until we get that sweet spot. and we're at the maximum amount of torque that this engine

will produce.

Oh no the head cracked.

That was a pretty good run.

Especially considering that we don't have a proper spark plug installed in the engine.

I calculated about 2.5 horsepower.

And about five foot pounds of torque.

it looks like the load does make a big difference.

Because this right here is the first time I have ever cracked the head.

And there's even a little tiny pieces of glass inside the engine cylinder look at that.

next thing I'm going to do is remove the transparent head.

And mount the stock head in its place.

and this is going to be a great comparison between the make-do spark plug in the transparent

cylinder head.

And a proper spark plug and proper compression with the stock cylinder head.

Let's run it ready to go.

Stock head gasoline let's see how much power it makes.

Okay that was a great run.

Now it's time for us to calculate how much horsepower the engine made.

And unfortunately I forgot to install the tachometer.

I decided to pull the engine back into the garage.

Install the tachometer that I forgot to install in that previous run.

And do one more run on gasoline with an accurate RPM measurement.

To get a good Baseline on what this engine is making stock on gasoline.

Then I'm going to move on to the nitromethane. this is a tachometer that I'm going to be

using for this episode.

And I don't know about you but I like when I see a product being used in a real situation.

Because if I buy it I know what to expect.

In this case is going to get used and abused.

And if it fails it's going to be on camera.

And if it doesn't you know it's good.

So if you're interested in buying this tachometer.

I put a link in the description below because I see a lot of cool uses for this.

Including this one.

Tachometer is installed and it looks fantastic.

Ready to do our first accurate Baseline run on gasoline.

Alright that's our background.

Run number 1 accurate Baseline gasoline.

Alright let's see how much power this makes.

alright so apparently.

I didn't account for this screw vibrating loose inside of the scale.

I'm going to put the scale back together and do one more run.

It's always something.

I'm just going to get some red Loctite and fill up this screw.

Put this back together.

I definitely picked the right scale.

Because this thing went right back together again.

Hopefully our scale doesn't break this time.

Ready baby.

so that right there is almost exactly 9 foot pounds divided by 2.

Which is 4.5 foot pounds x 3600 RPM on the money.

Which equals 16200 divided by 5252. which equals 3.084 horsepower.

That's pretty amazing that this thing after all this abuse is still making the rated horsepower.

Time for the Nitromethane.

I just have to change a timing but Nitro in the tank and ready to go.

Okay so that was a fantastic run pretty entertaining.

We're going to calculate the horsepower real quick.

We were at 4000 RPM. we're going to multiply that by our foot pounds of torque.

Which in this case is 14 divided by 2 equals 7,

equals 28000 and we're going to divide that by 5252 to

get our horsepower number.

Which is 5.33 horsepower on nitromethane.

That was pretty impressive 5.33 horsepower on nitromethane.

With just a little bit more timing.

And I opened up the needle for the carburetor all the way until it was almost falling out.

To get as much Nitro in there as possible.

So for this next test I'm going to take the sequential turbo charger.

Off of an SL 65 and modify it to fit on this 3 horsepower engine.

okay I have the turbo all installed on the Briggs.

I mean it looks like something I haven't ever seen before.

I've always wanted to put a turbo on one of these small engines.

And I just never did.

But now it's done.

I put a spring on the wastegate here to keep it closed.

Because I'm hoping to build some boost.

I put a viewing window here on the intake.

The turbo is being lubricated by this Loop tube.

The only thing I don't like about the way that this is set up.

Is that I had to use a wet system.

Which means I have the carburetor mounted to the turbocharger.

And the turbocharger is pulling in the air-fuel mixture.

Compressing it.

And then forcing it into the engine.

I don't like that because that's kind of how the first forced induction cars were set up

with this wet system.

And there's a lot of problems with this but I think it's going to do for this.

And now that the turbo is mounted modified and ready to go.

Let's see what the engine does and how much horsepower it makes On turbo and nitromethane.

Okay so that run was kind of disappointing.

We maxed out at about 6 foot pounds of torque at 3500 RPM.

Or actually 3 foot pounds because we need to divide that in half.

So only 3 foot pounds at 3, 500 RPM. no wonder why they don't use the wet system any more

for turbocharged vehicles.

It made last power than the naturally-aspirated setup.

so what I'm going to do is I'm going to try one more time.

Tune it a little bit and give it as much fuel as possible and see what it does.

Hopefully it makes more horsepower else its going to be really disappointing.

Oh there goes I think it made more power.

I heard the turbo start spooling up and making some boost.

Did you hear it it went woohoo.

so that got me excited I heard the turbo start spooling up and it was like woohoo making

boost.

I don't know where all that oil burning came from.

It could have been from the bearing in the turbocharger or from the piston rings.

maybe the piston rings are getting messed up.

If you listen the engine is making kind of a little creaking noise.

So I don't know what that is.

But with this run it maxed out at about 7 foot pounds of torque at 3650 RPM.

And I don't know if it was that much better then the naturally-aspirated nitromethane run.

But let's do the math real quick and we'll see.

So we got 3650 RPM x 7 foot pounds of torque.

Divide that by 5252 and that's our horsepower, so.

the numbers don't lie unfortunately it only made

4.86 horsepower With the turbo on nitromethane.

So that's kind of disappointing I'm sure this thing will make way more power.

But I'm going to end this video right here.

Because this thing is taking just way too long.

This was a lot of building and everything else and it didn't blow up.

It didn't make more horsepower than the nitromethane alone but.

yeah if you want to see another video on these engine I'll definitely do one.

I'm thinking maybe just fix these problems because.

I'm sure that this thing has to be able to make about 8 or 10 horsepower with the turbo

That's just my guess.

I don't know how I can get it to work maybe at a fuel injector.

Some type of engine management system maybe.

I'm going to look around and see if there's a company that makes that.

And maybe I'll bring it up in another episode it was kind of fun.

I'm doing today doing rebuilding the gate again

Which is pretty awesome who doesn't love doing that and then doing some sprinkler valve replacements. They're just leaking like crazy. So

Looking forward to that and then doing some electrical work. So that is always fun for sure. So

Yeah, man, let's get to it this today is gonna be a great day. Let's do it. Okay, here we are

We're gonna be replacing three of the sprinkler valves. This one just leaking a little bit right here

It's got all these Krusty's on it. This one's leaking down here

And this one leaks a little bit out of the solenoid base when you turn it on. So we're going to get those

three replaced and then this is

the gate that I'm replacing

This also looks pretty bad here. This was how I found it. So what I think I'm going to do is

I'm going to replace this 2x4 while I'm at it here. And then this is the gate here that I'm replacing

So that'll be a fun rebuild. And then we're just going to put a new 2x4 up here to reattach that

so

Everything should be good. So let's get to it

Okay, they got a main water shut-off. And then this one just goes to the sprinkler. So we just turn that one off

Tested this sprinkler here so it's off

Okay, now that I got my risers put on my sprinkler valves that I'm replacing it's time to

Hook the hook the male adapter connectors up to my new sprinkler valve and then we're gonna pop them on

Okay, now that I got everything assembled we are ready to cut these to size and then plop them on there

So I got this one. This is the drip one. I got that hooked back up here

So that kind of gives me a good measurement for that one

All right, we got them all glued up try not to make too much of a mess there

That one glued up that one glued up so everything looks great

So we'll let those sit for a little while and then we'll test them out

But in the meantime we'll get started on this gate here

Man I love the look of a new gate doesn't that look awesome?

All right, I got this gate all installed

I had the gate installed here, but then the the post was sagging a little bit really when I quoted this job

I should have quoted a new fence post here

But I did not you can see this this fence here is fairly new and they replaced all the fence posts, but this one

So basically right now, what I'm trying to do is I knocked out some of the concrete

I'm trying to shore it up with some new concrete

It'll probably need to be replaced. But I'm gonna give this a try and then I'm gonna reinstall this gate here

But while that cement is drying I'm gonna go inside and start in some of the Elektra

All right, Alan worked pretty good I got this light installed very nice

Okay, we got all the work done there at that house except for that gate just finishing up that gate man that that fence posts

that the gate rides on is

Pretty rotten. I should have caught that when I did my estimate, but I didn't man

I mean there was like this time when I was going through this funk and it

was a ground the time when I was doing this estimate, so

Yeah, I missed that but we're trying to shore it up. It's not super broken

It's just kind of wobbly. So I chipped out some of the concrete put in new concrete trying to shore it up

So I'm gonna let that sit while I'm at lunch and away and then hopefully we'll be good to go afterwards

I'll just mount that gate back up and we'll see but yeah, I got that that LED light fixture mounted above the kitchen sink

So that was pretty cool

and then

converted some of those halogen bulbs to LED

Light kits in the kitchen and then got the sprinkler valves done

So yeah, really all that's left to do get wrapped up. Is that gate?

but once I get back from lunch, I'm gonna see how that how that fence post is holding up and see if it's

See if it's ready to go or if it's gonna need to be pulled out and be replaced

We're gonna see what what's up with that

I want to talk talk about something that I talked about with the guy who gave me a call yesterday during that consulting call

And his main question was you know, he start up his business in June a few months ago

And he's really been having trouble kind of just getting

Getting a good client base

You know getting people that he explained it like he's having trouble

Clients coming to him rather than him having to chase clients and that's something that is very common

especially when people first start their business

But what I told him is the number one thing that you need to focus on is getting a good

marketing funnel and a good marketing plan in place

and for me that really

Starts with being online a website is key

Facebook Instagram Google, you know, all that stuff is a must

Because nowadays like you can reach so many people on social media with a click of one button

or having one person share your post more than you can just knocking on someone's door or

Calling people up or cold calling or whatever

Marketing online marketing is the way to go for sure for your handyman business

And that's just something that we talked about hooked him up with some courses and some good material to get him started along that path

Yeah, pretty great talk. But I just wanted to kind of

Share that with you guys. I don't know if you guys have a good online marketing strategy, but that's the way to go

That's what's worked. Great for me. Okay. Well I was at lunch

I called the the homeowner there and I talked to her she's actually at work today

So her dad was the one at the house with me led me in and stuff like that

But it wasn't I chatted with her and told her what was going on with that fence post and she said hey

No sweat go ahead and replace that swept that fence post if you need to

I told her the price and she was completely cool to price I think for me

I was a little nervous to like give her a price. I hate like because that's my hope

That's the whole reason why I give an estimate beforehand

So there's no like there's no funny business, you know, everyone knows exactly what's needed exactly

What's going on exactly how much you're paying things like that?

But so I was a little nervous to like call her back and be like, hey, we're gonna need an extra this much money

But she was completely fine with it

She's like, you know stuff happens, you know, no big deal you missed it

But you can go ahead and you know put a new one in no big deal. So she approved it

She was completely fine with the estimate

so we're gonna go ahead and just pull that old one out and

Put put the new post in so that's what we're gonna do once we get back

So going Home Depot right now almost there to pick up a new fence post

Yeah gonna get it man. We're gonna get going and get this job completed for this client

It may have to go into tomorrow, but I'm gonna get the fence post set tonight

Just so that because normally I like that I like letting the fence post concrete sit for like at least like three hours

before I

You know put a gate on it

They say you could do it after one hour, but I just I don't know. I feel better were three

But yeah, so it's gonna be great. We're gonna come back prior to morrow morning and finish it up. But yeah, let's get it

Because these these spots would be perfect but there's like carts galore everywhere

Always keep you scrap two-by-fours on my truck just for stuff like this. You know, I got these off of a job

I dorsum down a while back, but they were perfect just for you know, being scrap pieces to hold stuff together

All right, we got the got the fencepost set in the concrete here it is four o'clock

So I don't think we're going to be able to hang this gate today

Be too late. I want to let it sit for at least three hours. So I think coming back tomorrow

Afternoon or morning or afternoon depending on how my morning job goes tomorrow will be our best bet but I've got this in there

Yeah, so now you got to clean up and then get out of here for the day

I might put some some braces back on here. Just just so it holds the fence up tonight, but

I was chatting with the customer last night and

she came home and took a look at what I was doing and she really liked the work, but unfortunately or apparently I

Messed up on the estimate. I yeah, I kind of screwed the pooch on that one

Apparently she wanted the whole the gate replaced and that little side Shack the side section of fence there

You know that part that was kind of rotten out. Apparently she wanted that whole thing replaced

I did not

originally estimate that so I was kind of in a pickle wears like and I hate like giving people an

Estimate or a price after I've already given the estimate or already started the work?

You know to me so I really was feeling bad. I gave her like a pretty like low low price for it and

she was telling me she's well, you know like this is kind of hard and so I

Told her I'm like, yeah, you know, I totally understand, you know

I should have estimated this correctly in the first place and I apologize for that

You know, what's a fair price in your mind? So she told me her budget

And then I said, okay. Well, I'll do it for your budget and she said well, are you sure because you know

I don't want you to you know

Be skimping yourself out and be missing out on money that you rightfully need for your hard work

So I really appreciate working with customers like this. So we went with a little bit lower than what I

Estimated her, you know with the added on stuff and a little bit higher than her

Than her budget, so we were able to work it out

So I really love customer that you know, that money's not their top priority

but really helping you out and having a top-quality job is a is their highest priority because

After all, that's what my highest priority is. So I feel like when those two meshed you find your ideal customer, so

Anyways, I went on people I got the materials to rebuild that side little portion of the fence there

So we're gonna get to that so we're gonna head over that project right now

Okay, here is the fence posts that we put in at the end of the day yesterday and I just went ahead and I wrapped

up, you know the rest of this yesterday reattach this but here's our cement from yesterday and

This new post we put in rock solid. So this over here is what they want to replace which totally makes sense because it is

Yeah, pretty nasty this whole

Post here is just completely warped. This is the new board

I put up here, but I'm going to save that

But we'll replace this section here and then install our new gate and we'll be done

Okay, we got this one in the cement here. Got some cement laid

I just put out this 2x4 right here just as kind of a

Marker, so I get everything straight got my correct distance for my new gate, but this is our new post here

It's not the post was super rock solid wasn't what didn't have any broad on it at all

so it was mainly this one and that 2x4 that went across the top so

We went ahead and got these all done. That one's super strong

So we're gonna let this cure up for a little while

Cleanup here and then we're gonna start putting on our fence pickets and then put our gate on and finish this guy up

It's been about an hour and a half or so. So, let's see what this looks like here

It's looking like it's getting hard I think it's probably good enough to put some stringers on

Alright we got all our gate all set up now

We just need to put the pickets on that on that little side fence there. So we're gonna get to that

Okay, we're all done with this this gate and side fence here I think it turned out pretty good

So now we just got to get cleaned up and get out of here

I just want to show you guys kind of the last bits of it all

So here's the inside of the gate here

Inside of a little fence here, so we installed that new post there that new post there

Allen was good to go. I still need to install my latch, but that's that's all that's left. And then

Yeah, I'm gonna cover up that cement there with some dirt and then clean up and we'll get out here

Alright, I'm all done with this project. Got it all wrapped up

so this whole project just kind of recap it and give you guys some of

logistics

So we did those those two can lights in in the kitchen and I installed that one can light that Jay boxing out a candlelight

Over the kitchen sink then I did the gate and that little side fence portion and the gate post

Next to the gate and then three sprinkler valves, we hook those up and rewired those and everything like that

So total for this job was one thousand one hundred thirty dollars after all the adjustments we decided on that price

she was super super great with that and

So the materials for this project were about two hundred fifty bucks

So that leaves what I think it's about eight eight something like eight hundred eighty bucks for profit or something like that

So worked out pretty good. I have a total of about seven hours into this project. So not bad

and just one thing that I really learned from this from this job is if you get

Customers that or if you care about customers and have their best interests in mind

They're gonna have your best interest in mind and it's all gonna work out great. So that would be my two cents

Why countries are racing to the moon again

Hello people, have you ever told your better half that you love them "to the moon and

back"?

Of course you have, we've all been in that mushy phase where every exaggeration looked

modest!

But our sober selves know very well that actually going to the moon is no cake walk, after all,

only 12 people have ever done it!

All on them American men, and the last man took the journey to moon in 1972, nothing

since then!

Now why have we mixed the moon related blabbering from the "romance induced high" with actual

moon visitations?

Uhmm, let's just say we used romance as a bait to get you involved in the dynamics

of earth's natural satellite!

Don't be angry, you'll not regret sitting through the video, so let's begin!

Uhmmm, where do we start from?

Ah, the first moon landing, of course!

The most significant event in the history of science and global politics.

It won't be wrong to say that the first moon landing gave the United States an edge

in the Space Race, and led to numerous breakthroughs in science, and space travel.

Now we aren't overlooking the rumors that these Moon landings were faked but let's

face it, there is irrefutable scientific evidence that the landings occurred.

Anyway, the point here is that after the 1972 moon landing, there has been a lull of almost

50 years.

Yea, that was the hint- moon is becoming a subject of interest again!

Why the Moon?

Haven't we already been there, done that?

First thing's first, let's discuss who all are involved in this "back to basics"

agenda?

Thinking about the back to moon project, everything looks more like a High school situation!

Ah, we mean there are plenty of old faces involved in this new Space Race but there's

no way one could forget the new kids on the block!

For starters, India, China, and Russia are heavily involved, which isn't a surprise

because hello, they are leading the way in modern technological developments!

But there are surprise entries in the name of Japan, North Korea, South Korea, and plenty

of European nations.

Even heavyweights NASA have got their mojo back, and are looking toward space travel

once again!

Now the big question- why this interest in moon all over again?

Now with all space-related travel and exploration, there are so many pros attached but the economic

and political advantages have a special place.

A lot of nations currently involved in the revival of moon journeys are seeking to help

themselves politically, as well as boosting their economies.

After so many years of neglecting the most romantic natural satellite, countries are

looking to get back into the stratosphere!

It'll be fun to see who wins this race to the moon, after all, a lot is at stake!

But from another aspect, it is also a great way to mesh economies of various countries.

Confused?

Even if they don't have their own space program, countries can develop instruments

to fly on spacecraft that are built and launched by other nations.

For example, India's Chandrayaan-1 spacecraft carried instruments from Sweden, Germany,

UK, Bulgaria, and the US to the Moon.

You tell us, don't you support "back to the moon" mission?

Now if you'll allow us to move ahead, there is another big advantage of returning to moon

landing and that is, the opportunity for new discoveries and new horizons.

It is easier than ever before to reach the Moon, and many nations have an eye on what

could be found beyond the moon.

Like they say there is so much we don't know about our planet, everyday there are

new discoveries, how could you imagine that we'll know the moon in and out only in a

few visits?

There is so much hidden in the huge craters of the moon that we haven't yet got our

hands on!

Exploring new horizons in space is essential for the future, and could really help to further

the human race and what better place to start than our very own moon?

Japan's Selene spacecraft and India's Chandrayaan-1 mission discovered new distributions

of minerals on the Moon.

The presence of water ice and other organic compounds in permanently shadowed regions

of the Moon that never see sunlight has been discovered.

Another interesting discovery was of Helium-3, present in abundance on Moon.

It is a potential fuel for nuclear fusion, a potentially unlimited and non-polluting

source of energy.

Wow!

Another thing that you might have missed is the fact that Moon is a tempting target for

space agencies who are in need of successful missions!

Radio communication over the relatively short distance between the Earth and Moon is almost

instantaneous.

Between Earth and Mars, two-way communication times can be the better part of an hour.

Plus low gravity and lack of atmosphere further simplifies the operations on the moon.

All in all, a simpler deal!

Already giving a green signal to the return of "moon missions"?

Don't be so impressed already, the biggest reason is yet to be unveiled!

But first, let us tell you that the Trump Administration declared in October 2017 that

it wants the U.S. to be a leader in the space industry.

This includes going to the Moon and being the first country to send astronauts to Mars.

Yes, seems like soon humans or rather Americans will land on Mars, wow!

But why have we diverted our attention to Mars journey when we gotta be discussing about

the return to moon, have we gone off track?

Uhmm no, because the two journeys are interrelated, in a BIG way!

How about we tell you that the moon is going to be a gas station for outer space?

You heard that right, moon being the gas station for space is true, now let that sink in!

Commerce Secretary of USA, Wilbur Ross said in an interview that the country's future

success largely depends on what they accomplish by going to the moon, such as turning it into

a refueling station by establishing a lunar colony.

What, a colony on moon to act as a refueling station?

Well, the plan is to break down the ice found on moon into hydrogen and oxygen, and use

those as the fuel propellant.

In fact, Ross foresees a scenario where rockets would be launched from earth towards moon

where they will be refueled and then launched into deep space.

This subsequent launch would require less thrust since the Moon's gravitational force

is much lower than the Earth's.

That makes sense!

US wants to ensure that organizations like NASA and companies like Space X can pave way

to the stars!

As it is, Elon Musk has made elaborate plans to set up a colony on moon and then head to

Mars by 2024.

It'll be interesting to see if his dream comes true and what he will achieve by this

mission but we'll have to wait to see!
