Google My Business Posts and Local SEO - Duration: 5:43.

Hi everyone!

I'm Tricia Clements with www.MuttButs.com.

Today I want to talk to you about your Google My Business account.

What it has to do with your business's online identity and how it impacts your local SEO.

Google My Business – what you need to do is go to business.google.com and login there

to your account.

The main thing you need to first make sure is that you've claimed your business's

Google My Business account and it you haven't claimed it go ahead and claim it.

If you go in to claim it and it says that someone else already has access to it and

won't let you claim it – you need to go ahead and make sure that you gain access to

that account for your business.

It's really important and that's something that if you don't have access to it, you

need to get in touch with google to get access to it.

If you need help with that let me know because I have helped numerous clients gain access

to their Google My Business account.

Again, your Google My Business account is crucial for your online identity.

When people are out searching for places on their cell phones, where do they go?

Google.

You want to make sure that you come up in that search and you also want to post weekly.

So that if you have any specials going on, if you have any upcoming events that you're

going to be going to that your clients – potential clients can see that and know that you've

got this special going on, maybe they will stop-by or give you a call to make sure that

they take advantage of that.

Whereas, you may not have had that business otherwise.

So make sure that you are posting weekly on your Google My Business account because those

post on Google My Business they go dark after a week.

So make sure you're posting weekly.

And again, there's a place to put events on.

So, if you have events that you're going to make sure that you post those on there

because again they come up on Google Maps and Google Search.

So if you have someone managing your account, posting for you, you also need to make sure

that are an owner of that Google My Business account.

So, when you login to your Google My Business account there's a place that says USERS.

You're going to go in there and make sure you're an owner because if you're simple

a manager of the account that means that you can't add and remove users.

You need to own the account.

So, if you've got someone who's managing it, putting post on – that's fine but

make sure that they add you as an owner on the account.

That is really important for your business.

So when you get in to your Google My Business account make sure you add everything in there,

your descriptions, your NAP, your name, address, phone number.

Make sure all the information that google has is correct because when someone find you

on a search you don't want them to have wrong information because they're going

to be probably a little bit upset about it, maybe if they – you said that you're open

and they go to your store and your closed because the hours are wrong.

You need to make sure all the information if correct.

And again I said post weekly – Post specials and for you Google My Business post it'll

allows up to Fifteen hundred characters, however, most searches are done on a cell phone and

the first one hundred words… uhmm I'm sorry.

First one hundred characters are the most important.

Make sure the main crux of what you want them to know is on that first one hundred characters

on your Google My Business post – that's really important.

You also want to make sure that you put a Link in – you can have a clickable link.

There's an option for that when you do the post, you can set a call now, schedule an

appointment, make a reservation.

Make sure that you add that url in there for them to click directly so they don't have

to do any copying and pasting.

People want it – they want fast.

Make sure you have that clickable link in there.

Now this is a Google's free advertising – make you're taking advantage of it.

You can go in and see.

After you've done your post you can start looking at them, see how you're coming up,

how many times you come up on the searches, the map views and also going to the insights

– see which post seem to be doing better so that you can do more of those post and

make sure you put pictures on your Google My Business account you want to make sure

you have good, clear pictures on your account that's going to help when you're doing

your Google My Business post.

Alright, so there's a couple things you want to know about your Google My Business

– It's great for local SEO, people will find you.

You need to make sure you've claimed your account.

You need to post on it and post weekly – and then post weekly.

That's the big thing and make sure your information is correct.

If anything changes – update it.

If you have a different hours during different holidays make sure you put those on your Google

My Business account.

It's really important to make sure all that information is correct.

Hello, I'm Michelle Park here with the latest weather update.

Today was a good example of perfect autumn weather.

Clear blue skies with refreshing air.

This is expected to continue tomorrow.

In fact, it will be warmer than today,... with temperatures recovering back to the seasonal

average.

Typhoon Kong-Rey is heading north at considerable strength.

As of today, the storm is expected to make a turn northeast this weekend, and will most

likely bring gusty wind and rain to Jeju Island and the southern provinces.

Wednesday morning,...

Seoul will wake up to 12 degrees Celsius,... while Chuncheon and Gyeongju fall into the

single digits.

Make sure to dress accordingly because there's going to be more than a 10-degree jump into

the afternoon.

Seoul and most regions topping out between 23 and 25 degrees.

Most of the nation, including Seoul, will be looking pleasant weather-wise,... but Jeju

and the southern regions will be getting rain throughout the weekend.

October 2, 2018 | Tuesdays With Terry | Orphan's Promise - Duration: 9:46.

Hi! Happy Tuesday. Orphan's Promise has six key areas of impact that we work on and

one of them is community transformation. That can sound like just a term, so

today I'd like to talk to you a little bit about what does that mean. When

Orphan's Promise talks about transforming a community, well it means that we don't

just look at one aspect of what a community needs, but we look at a more

overall need within the community. Something that will change the quality

of life for them and not just briefly, but on an ongoing basis. So today I want

you to meet some of the most beautiful people that I've ever had occasion to

spend time with: colorful, talented, creative... the Masai from Kenya. We

went to this area and found that the children had no education, so we have

created a school there; the kids are being educated. We're feeding them,

they're being discipled in Christ, and because there was a need for water we

were able to partner and dig a water well for them so that they now have

flowing water... but I want to show you how doing all of that has led into other

aspects of transforming this amazing community into something even more

special. Take a look! I'm Dan Rainey... reporter producer for CBN. I have a

master's in anthropology and I travel the world bringing back stories of the good

CBN does in people's lives. Now I want to go deeper with people to

better understand their struggles as they fight to survive one day at a time.

When the plane landed in Masai Mara, I was greeted by the vast array of

wildlife that helped make this relatively untouched part of Kenya famous. I soon

arrived at a nearby Masai village, where I was welcomed by the students of a school

built and supported by CBN's Orphan's Promise. Village life here is peaceful...

children go to school, mothers tend to their homes, and men take the cattle to

graze. That day I met up with Olinasi and his family. "Nice. Thank you." Masai

don't have Shepherds crooks, they have Spears because we have lions here!

I constantly whistle so the wild animals know I am around. It keeps them away.

Herding cattle... seemed easy... little harder than it looks! "I lost them. Like the whole herd!"

"found em!"... as we were herding, Olinasi and I talked. Before CBN came here we had to

go very far to get enough water for our cattle and ourselves. I lost 50 of my

cattle during the drought. I had terrible pains in my stomach because of sickness

from the dirty water. At one point I was too sick to take my cattle out, so my

wife had to do it. That day Lions came and killed two of my cattle.

I was afraid I would be the next victim. I climbed the tree and called for help

until some men came and chased the lions away. After that I never looked after the

cattle again. Olinasi and I walked over fields and through thick brush to where

they used to collect water. CBN drilled a deep well right by the old source. Now

even during drought, they have enough water for the entire village and all

their cattle. So the old water source and a new water source are really side by

side... those solar panels are pumping fresh, clean water all the way up to the

village. Now in the old days they used to collect water here from this open

spring and they shared this with the animals, so this is not water you would

ever want to drink.

Whenever I went for water I was afraid lions will be there drinking. The water

was very far away. We'd go through the wilderness to get there and on the way, we

meet with wild Buffalo and elephants. Because of your help

we have many cattle again. Since the taps are so close to the village, people can

now fetch water any time they want without fearing the wild animals. Before

we only bathed once each week. Now, we can bathe whenever we want. You know I've done

this water routine before, but I can see the village from here and I know this is

fresh clean water, so this is a piece of cake. Having water so close has changed

everything. Now even the children can fetch water.

After bringing in the cattle, they showed me how they craft that elaborate jewelry...

Making a big bracelet takes about two weeks.

It's a Masai tradition to dress as we do. Some like wearing more than others. You

cannot wear the traditional clothing without the beads. You have to look shiny!

With more time on their hands thanks to the well, the ladies make more jewelry to

sell in the market, ensuring a steady flow of income for their families.

We are so happy. The support we received is so important. Everyone in the village

benefits from the projects. As a born-again Christian,

I know that it was God who gave us the well and school. Before the school was

built, classes were held under a tree. Our books blew in the wind and when it

rained we stayed home. We were taught about God under the tree so we prayed

and asked God for a church, a school, and water.

Now all those prayers are answered! At night when the children have gone home,

the chores are done and the cattle are resting, parents come to the school one

by one to learn how to read and write themselves. It's something they never had

the opportunity to do before.

My life has changed. I can write one to a hundred

This means I can walk to the bank, write my own name and my numbers and withdraw

my money without any help. In the beginning it was hard for me to use a

pen on a book but now it is become so easy.

When my mom mom comes back from class, she asks me questions about the things she

didn't understand. I explain things and help her. I am so proud of her.

With water from the well we also started a vegetable garden outside the village.

As the women in the village tend the garden, children come from the school to learn

all about agriculture. Some of the crops are used to feed the kids at school, the

village gets all the rest. It's a different way of life for the Maasai, but

one that was necessary for their survival. During the famine there was not

even any milk. The cows dried up and died and there was always sickness and death.

Now everyone is healthy and disease is a thing of the past. As the day drew to an

end, the men of the village showed me how they make fire. Yeah it's happening so

fast I thought we would be here like two hours I see smoke already. Then it was my

turn. This is why they do it as a demonstration and don't let other people

like try with them. There's a little smoke. I'm getting there. Yes it is harder

than it looks! Has it been two hours yet?? I'm not even anywhere close am I? Well we

got the fire started - without much help from me at all - we're getting ready to

get the party started.

In honor of my visit on behalf of CBN, the warriors of the village danced and

sang long into the night. We roasted a goat over the open fire, we all ate until

we were full. I didn't want the night to end, but eventually it was time to sleep.

I went inside past the goats and the chickens and turned in. A long day, but a

good day. They've got their spare room set up for me, so I think I'm gonna sleep

pretty hard tonight. Early the next morning it was time to say our goodbyes.

I thank God for what he has done and I thank him for your coming here. You

have changed our lives! As I drove away I took in the sights and sounds of Kenya

one last time. I left with a sense of peace, knowing the families here have

hope for a brighter future...

So I hope you can see in this story how when we reach

out to children in need, it filters into families, into the parents that are

leading them in their lives and ultimately changes the community.

keyword and choose a message from your message hub or you can create a new

message and simply click Save and as you can see you can also do that for

messages that start with certain keywords messages that end with certain

keywords and even if the message equals the exact phrase so basically that's how

you train your bot and you can just have frequently asked questions with

automated responses so I do think that this tool is really helpful then we have

sequence so basically it's the same thing like email follow-up series you

can create messages that automatically goes out on certain times after someone

is added to your list then we have broadcasts so again it's basically where

you can message your whole list at once then we have welcome message and this

message would be sent once someone like your page and sent you a message

then they would get automatic response which would be your welcome message then

we have our message so this message would be sent if someone asked you a

question and if your bot wouldn't recognize the message and wouldn't find

any of your added keywords so it would send an error message

now next section we have is analytics so this is where you will have all of your

statistics and the next section is lead generation and the first tool for that

is website widget and as you can see you can choose from website pop up that

looks like this then we have slide in that looks like this then page takeover

then we have website chat that looks like this and then we have a website

button and as you can see basically you can edit them all and what this tool

does basically you can choose whichever widget you like the most and add it onto

your website and once someone clicks or messages you using that tool on your web

said they're added to your a messenger list and if they asked a question and if

you have trained your bot to answer that certain question your bot will recognize

it and your visitors will get their questions answered basically so it's

really a great tool now next we have comment response and again this is a

great tool to build your messenger list and basically how it works is as you can

see I have my Facebook page post right here and I could choose a post and

create an automatic message for people who comment under that post and it works

extremely great if you create a Facebook ad and do like a giveaway so like let's

say if you create courses right you can simply create a posting that everyone

who comments under your post gets a free course and when someone leaves a comment

it triggers the bot and the bot sends them automatic response with

instructions on how to access that course that you are given away and at

the same time the person who commented is added to your messenger list so again

it's a really really great tool next we have Facebook posting so basically this

is a simple but a really great tool and you can use it to schedule your Facebook

and Twitter posts next we have audience and this is where you can see all of

your subscribers and their data then template suite is basically where you

will have access to your templates so there will be an episode that will give

you access to a lot of different templates for a lot of different

businesses but if you pick up just different and product you will get at

least to welcome an error message templates now next is page manager and

this is where you can link and unlink your pages within boxer then we have

live chat so from here you can choose a person and you can message them directly

or if you will get a message from someone again you will see right here

that you receive that message then we have viral content which is basically

you can find pictures that you can use for your message and then the last

section is training so basically in the training you have access to nine

training videos and they show you how to use all of these in box or features so

yeah guys that's pretty much how the members area looks like so now let's hop
