REALLY INTIMIDATING LIKE WHOEVER
GETS TO DO THAT, THAT CAN NEVER

I THINK WE ALL SOMETIMES HAVE
THOSE DOUBTS BUT THE IMPORTANT
THING IS THE ADVICE I GOT FROM
MY LAST BOSS WHICH WAS IF YOU
WANT TO BE AN ASTRONAUT YOU
APPLY AND IF YOU DON'T APPLY YOU
CAN'T BE ONE.
FOR A LOT OF US TALKING ABOUT
THE NUMBER OF TIMES WE APPLIED
TO BE HERE OR WHETHER IT WAS OUR
FIRST TIME OR NOT, IF YOU DON'T
GO FOR IT, YOU WILL NEVER GET
THE CALL.
I THINK THE FLIGHT DIRECTORS
PROBABLY FEEL THE SAME WAY.

FOR SPACE EXPLORATION HAS SOME
APPLICATION BACK HERE ON EARTH,
AND TO BE A PART OF A RESEARCH
PROJECT THAT IS SO MANY MUCH
BIGGER THAN ANY OF THE RESEARCH
THAT I DID AS AN INDIVIDUAL
BEFORE, THAT'S AMAZING.
