channeling your anger in order to see high performance in every area of your

life you know that you have an anger problem but using that anger effectively

to transform every single thing that you do and channel it to see better

performance that is critical and that's what we are going to break down today

essentially every emotion is nothing but a message a message that is influencing

how you think feel and act in any given situation know this that if you

understand and embrace your emotions and be constantly aware of how they are

impacting you and the people around you in any given situation you are

guaranteed guaranteed to see higher performance in every area of your life

keeping that in mind every emotion impacts us by telling us a message in

these two ways number one it asks us a question it asks us a question and on

basis of that it does this do influences our behavior it influences what kind of

results we see and if we are to see high performance results we need to have a

better understanding of our emotions emotional intelligence is key so what

can you do in order to transform your anger use it effectively to actually see

higher performance remember that the question that you want to ask yourself

or that you subconsciously ask yourself whenever it comes to anger

is this what do I need to break through what is the obstacle in front of me that

is holding me back from either feeling significant or experiencing pleasure the

thing is sometimes anger can also encompass fear they occur together and

that causes us to do something that will help

avoid pain so anger essentially is a very powerful emotion a very powerful

emotion that can feel you to do something productively but also do

something that is unproductive and majority of the time if we aren't

completely aware of the anger we are experiencing we cannot engage in this

and that is productive activity anger needs to be channeled into productive

activity but keeping this one important thing in mind what do I need to break

through that is the question that we subconsciously ask ourselves whenever we

experience an obstacle how do I break through this in order to get to what I

want anger has the ability to completely dominate our minds as the sphere it

causes us to feel so emotionally provoked that we may do something that

we may regret later take some risks that we may not necessarily want to and once

we complete that particular behavior the influence of anger it tends to last for

a longer period of time the emotional arousal associated with anger tends to

last for a very long period of time if we engage in certain thoughts that helps

support that emotional arousal let's say I have been very angry over a fight I

had with a friend now if I continue to fuel this emotional arousal by saying

things to myself like that guy is a nasty person

or that guy did this to me or that guy is no good if I continually engage in

these thoughts what happens is that particular angle it tends to carry over

and usually that anger gets transferred by me saying something nasty or saying

something in anger to someone else and then ultimately what would that other

person feel oh man he must really be having a bad day and that person usually

gets angry too they get emotionally provoked as well and you see how it

creates a very vicious cycle that's how about full anger is what

once and it's channeled in a healthy way towards doing productive things then it

has tremendous potential you want to channel your aggression now let's see I

am playing a match I completely hate my opponent for having beaten me so many

times am I going to focus on winning the match or am I going to focus on beating

him am I going to do what it takes to convert the match in my favor to win or

am I going to look to dominate to destroy my opponent here it's a very

important thing that we need to consider that what is the larger goal angle tends

to cloud our judgment and make us not see the bigger picture so whenever

you're angry it's not just about having uncontrolled anger and then channeling

it towards something productive it's about controlling that anger having

controlled anger allows us to channel our anger towards what we want each

person is designed to experience emotions like anger because the event

our behavior in a certain way and anger once it is channeled in this fashion

towards doing something productively once it is controlled once it is

controlled only then can you truly shape it to do something productively so what

is the exact obstacle that is holding you back right now for being when I was

a table tennis player it was one of those events that forced me to actually

see the situation differently I was so frustrated about losing so many times

and I didn't look you know tired kind of destroyed my opponent I was only focused

on winning I trained so hard that I knew that with this foundation with this

confidence that I would get that I have channeled my

anger through my training to actually win once I did that I realized that I

can use this in different areas of my life and what was the end result I ended

up winning a losing streak that lasted for such a long time

once I channeled my anger and my frustration towards a larger goal a

larger goal that had tremendous potential to add value to my life that

would ultimately make me feel more productive that I achieved something in

a very short period of time that I thought wasn't possible maximum results

are going to happen and that is what productivity essentially is maximum

result in a minimum period of time and you want to see how you can channel your

anger in this way control your anger first channel it

towards doing something productively that you know is the larger goal the

larger perspective all emotions like anger are designed to shape our behavior

but it's up to us to see how can we use them in a productive fashion so

transform your anger and transform your life in this fashion towards channeling

all of these emotions that we regard as negative towards doing something

productively and I guarantee you you will see higher performance in this
