Top 10 Scariest Halloween Movie Moments - Duration: 11:07.
Michael Myers is the iconic serial killer from the Halloween franchise and he has been
terrorizing us since 1978.
So, forty years after the release of the original movie, we thought we would reintroduce you
to this sadistic killer and reminisce on where he started.

Alright lets take a stab at this list of the top 10 scariest Halloween Movie Moments.
Head tilt brings us to number 10.
What's more terrifying than a masked, deranged serial killer coming from behind you and choking
you to death?
Not much.
But what makes this scene even more terrifying is Michael Myer's slight head tilt.
Let's take a look.
Poor Bob.
He just wanted to go downstairs and grab a couple of beers.
He had no idea that instead of guzzling down a cold one, he would be guzzling his own blood.
This scene was from the original Halloween movie that was released back in 1978 and it
really set the tone for the rest of the franchise.
I mean, this death scene also showed us how incredibly strong Michael is and how much
evil he has coursing through his veins.
Jamie's nightmare takes us over to number 9.
Let's jump to the fourth installment of the Halloween franchise because let's admit
it, Halloween 3: the season of the witch sucked and it should be forgotten about.
So anyways, the fourth movie takes place ten years after that first night he came home
and we are introduced to our new final girl Jamie.
Who, as it turns out, is Laurie Strodes' daughter.
Thankfully this was only a nightmare, but she is going to have her fair share of run
ins with her Uncle later on in the movie.
Running into number 8 we have the farm chase.
This scary ass clip can be seen in the Halloween 5: The revenge of Michael Myers.
After spending one year in a coma, Michael was thirsty for blood and desperately wanted
to get his hands on a sharp knife.
So, he returned back to Haddonfield and he was determined on killing his niece.
But, before he could do that…a lot of innocent sex driven teens had to be slayed first.
So, this brings us to the farm chase.
This chase was through a field and it is one of the most suspenseful and terrifying parts
of the entire movie.
Fun fact, the actress who played Tina was actually almost hit by the car because she
tripped on her cape.
Luckily, he was able to stop the car in time but it was pretty damn close to a real disaster.
Closet jump scare pops onto this list in at number 7.
Laurie Strode deserves a raise because she got a lot more than she bargained for when
she agreed to babysit on Halloween night.
When Laurie hasn't heard from her friends in a while, she decides to go across the street
to investigate the Wallace house.
Unfortunately for her, Michael was there and he set up some pretty terrifying traps around
the house.
This was one hell of a night for Laurie.
First, she see's her best friend's body stabbed to death on the bed with a tombstone
which is traumatic enough but then Bob's body comes flying out of the closet, giving
everyone a heart attack.
Like I said, poor Laurie deserves a raise or she should retire from babysitting for
ever.
When Michael meets Tommy and this introduction brings us to number 6.
You guys already know who Tommy Doyle is right?
He was the kid that Laurie Strode was hired to babysit in the original Halloween movie.
Well in the fourth installment of this franchise, it is ten years later and Tommy is being targeted
by the indestructible murderer Michael Myers.
Whoa is that a young Paul Rudd?
Michael was probably like "Oh shit, its ant-man."
And damn did you guys hear that epic guitar riff.
This scene gives me serious anxiety and is it just me, or does Paul Rudd never age?
Classic chase scene rushes into number 5.
A horror movie cannot be complete without having at least one good chase scene where
the victim apparently forgets how to run and then falls while desperately looking back
and trying to escape.
No seriously, this is mandatory when filming a horror movie and Halloween is no exception.
Let's take a look at this epic chase scene.
If you're familiar with this movie, you'll remember that neighbors were complete assholes.
Laurie was desperately banging on the door and screaming for help but the neighbors decided
to look out the window, close the blinds and shut the lights off.
So she had no choice but to run back to the house where the kids were.
The music makes this scene ten times scarier and the fact that Michael is calmly walking
towards her is just the cherry on top.
The laundry shoot scene comes sliding into number 4.
This scary scene comes from Halloween 5 the revenge of Michael Myers and it is arguably
the movie's most iconic scene.
The young protagonist in this movie, Jamie Lloyd - squeezed herself in the laundry shoot
as she attempted to hide from Michael Myers but she slipped and got trapped at the bottom
of the chute.
Michael makes his way down to the basement and begins stabbing into the chute with helpless
and vulnerable Jamie inside.
This is probably one of the most intense moments in the entire movie because the victim is
a little girl but her escape was pretty smart because she used Michaels knife blade as a
step in order to get herself out of the chute.
Jamie makes it onto this list again in at number 3.
Let's fast forward to the ending of Halloween four: the return of Michael Myers.
And full disclosure, I'm about to give away a serious spoiler so you might want to cover
your eyes and ears for this one.
After a deadly shootout with Michael Myers, everything seemed to be going fine.
Ok, wait a minute, is his skin made out of bullet proof materials?
Anyways, everything seemed fine until this happened Apparently, after she touched her
uncles hand, his evil found a new host and causes her to violently attack her foster
mother.
This was a twist no one saw coming.
The iconic scene stabs onto this list in at number 2.
This list is full of scenes from the original cult classic Halloween because so many other
horror movies have used similar tactic's in order to scare their audience.
And this next scene you're about to see will probably send chills down your spine,
especially if you've never seen this movie before.
Just before Michael resurrects, Laurie survived a brutal attack in the closet.
She used a metal coat hanger as a weapon and temporarily caused Michael to become weakened.
But instead of taking that opportunity to decapitate him or run away and call the police,
she thought she could take that extra time to sit down by the door and recover.
But then, Michael sits up in the background and little does she know, her fight with this
evil sadistic serial killer is far from over.
And finally in at number 1 we have the opening scene from the original Halloween movie.
How could this scene not be number one?
The first ten minutes of the entire Halloween series just can't be beat.
In this clip you will see the point of view camera from a masked, stalker who is in a
house murdering a couple of teenagers.
If that wasn't rough enough, here is the most epic plot twist.
As it turns out, the killer is unmasked by his parents and it's revealed that this
brutal murderer is actually a 6-year-old child in a clown costume.
Whoa, John Carpenter made it pretty clear that Halloween wasn't going to be a typical
slasher movie.

so the rapper TI he's got an album coming out and he's trying to drum up
all this controversy because that's the way you sell rap albums drama
entertainment so this guy goes some TI goes on twitter and he tweets a promo
where's this post so he tweets a promo for his upcoming album and his tweet
says dear 45 i aint Kanye yeah and he's got a little one-minute promotional
video and we're gonna check it out now this promotional video features a
Melania Trump look-alike right on stripping okay and Ti is president yeah
and T of course nice TI is chief of staff or something I love it ci 2020
really don't it's all blurred out so but yeah that
gets pretty hot heavy yeah that's the that's the that's the whole thing well
no that's not the whole thing that's just all you need to see everything else
is kind of kind of filler that just gives you context for what he's trying
to do so that's a little promo I guess for an album he's got coming up and man
did the internet get mad of course of course they got first they did he is
depicting the first lady stripping yeah stripping um it all feels I mean it
feels like he's trying to promote an album it feels like he's taking notes
from Kanye yeah but like taking it in the other direction uh yeah he is yes I
agree with the dumb song move on I here's here's my take all right I think
it's funny I want to watch the video I think I would like the song I think it's
fun if Billy Ray Cyrus made a video with
Michelle Obama stripping in the White House that would piss me off but this
doesn't this doesn't piss me off I don't know why maybe cuz you don't you don't
like milania's I think maybe I think I I think it just depends on how much you
like the person how much you like the first lady or whatever I I tend to to
lean left I tend to not like what Trump does I tend to be a fan of Obama more
but yeah it would if that was a Michelle Obama that would piss me off
well it's definitely a free speech issue to me and I want these guys to have free
speech yeah I also think this is very tacky okay to depict you know the
president's wife as a as a stripper yeah but at the same time like I have heard
about not seen but heard about porn parodies of like Hillary Clinton and
stuff and Sarah Palin and I think that stuff's kind of funny yeah yeah I think
the thing is so I'm a hypocrite if it was Hillary Clinton I don't think that
would bother me I think maybe it's just Michelle Obama because of the person
that she was and how classy I felt like she was maybe that was why and she just
happens to be the the most previous first lady but yeah if it was like
Barbara Bush I would that wouldn't make me mad at all or funny maybe or like
Eleanor Roosevelt um yeah I think I don't know come on man
she's a mom she was a sex symbol that was her deal
she did softcore right did we figure that I I don't know if we ever did it
we're topless photos can we find that can you look I'm sure that's already
bookmarked on your computer Zach can you uh can you look into that and see what
Milania did yeah and then wash your hands but she was a model in a sex
symbol and that's part of the reason why she's married to Donald Trump who's a
massively rich power guy you know so it's not that it's not like this is new
territory for her personality it is now that she's the first lady but outside of
that not really yeah so okay to me it's it's a luster tip of a bigger issue to
me now people are gonna make fun of First Lady's maybe she's the most
bullied person in the world on the world on the world I don't think she is but
like let's humor her and say yeah she's way up there
she's definitely a target I get it this is sexualizing her in a way that
mainstream entertainment doesn't typically sexualize first ladies i iose
I always count porn is not mainstream fair enough
here's my issue with it so we live in outraged culture right now and everyone
gets offended by everything what our entire show is about is what does
everyone affect what is the Internet offended by this week and let's talk
about it and see it has its merits the left is probably it's definitely worse
at getting offended over stuff than the right is although both sides definitely
get offended over certain things yeah the left is much more precious than the
right I would say right so the left attacks Hollywood they attacked the news
they attack entertainment they attack the right they definitely have to choose
they attacker Trump yeah like everything but what the
left won't do and what I haven't seen them do is they haven't attacked hip hop
hip hop for at for for the sexist genre of music the the misogynist yawn room
usik that it is now I'm not saying every rapper I'm not saying every you know
that's not every rappers like this not every hip-hop song is like this but in
general as a whole hip-hop as a genre has very misogynistic
tones and you can hear it when you listen to the the the rap music the rap
music needs when you listen to the radio you listen to the serious and all this
stuff you you hear the same thing over and over again bitches and hoes it's
like such a tired stereotype and you still hear it and I never hear the left
really go after them well they did it was just years ago the whole tipper gore
thing and the adult adversary' the whole the whole reason there's those adults
like adult content stickers on CDs and member CDs on stuff that was because of
tipper gore and I think a lot of Democrats back in the day when like NWA
first came out I think it just happened a long time ago and it's just blown over
to the point where it's just been accepted so massively that there's no
it's like a battle you can't win but there was certainly sensory in the 90s
when it first started coming out sure but why doesn't the hypersensitivity of
2018 apply to hip-hop like why didn't the left come after TI and go hey this
is really this is really misogynist you're completely sexualizing the first
lady and i I have a theory on why hip-hop specifically gets away with it
I'll give you another example is a genre of music that is dominated by minorities
and it's minorities are being empowered right now right not that's my thing or
not under the microscope as much I think men in general are getting some blowback
but it's mostly not mostly but there's a large focus on straight white men right
now right so you know but but like Mac Miller said all kinds of weird stuff and
post Malone says all kind of weird stuff so maybe to your point but like well
like Eminem dropped the f-bomb the other day yeah and and he had to apologize for
it versus when he did it in 1990s or whatever there was no it was fingers up
to everybody well hip-hop is still considered I mean
even though there are tons of white rappers and all that and rappers of
other persuasions hip-hop is still considered sort of a black culture thing
sure right and I feel like the left has trouble attacking it because they see it
as you know an authentic iteration of you
know what is black culture and they don't I mean it's such an easy target
think about it so this year you know what's his name Kendrick Lamar who I'm a
huge fan of won a Grammy for a song and an album that had the word bitches and
hoes all in it and I actually I really liked that album but I listened to it
and I and I'm so used to it in hip-hop that it doesn't even really bother me
anymore I'm completely desensitized to it but I listen to it and I go I hear
the left attack all of these institutions they're all over Hollywood
now you know the Oscars so white and you don't cast enough women and women get
paid less than men but here is this incredibly easy target for you to look
at and go why must you refer to women by these by these very outdated
you know derogatory names all the time yeah and and why do you refer to them in
certain ways in certain situations in your songs and in your videos we have a
problem with this it's such an easy thing to say it's it's shooting fish in
a barrel well I think it's correct - my point is they already tried that and it
just that title it was like a battle they couldn't win it was just too many
people like the music it's too overly overarching Lee accepted and I think
with a lot of artists like Kendrick Kendrick I consider to be a very sort of
heady musician oh yes lyrics are very intelligent he's very progressive and so
my when I hear him use those words a lot of the times it's as a reflection of the
culture that he's writing about mm-hmm so he's not it's I mean he's using those
words but in a different manner he's he's not saying hey this is my bitch
right here if he's doing that he's talking about in the in the voice of
somebody else or through the point of view of somebody else or something like
that yeah and that's a little different for me I think with at least with
Kendrick but yeah you hear it all the time in this trap stuff where it's just
like hoes and bitches and suck my dick and that's that yeah I think it just you
got to pick your battles I think yeah I think you know III think I hate to use
the word white guilt but that's the word I keep projecting on to this this left
outrage culture that just will not go after
pop in any meaningful way I'm kind of glad I get really annoyed when the left
goes after all kinds of stuff I'm kind of annoyed I would be annoyed if they
went after hip-hop because I love it so much but I'm also I also look at it as
kind of a little bit of hypocrisy well I think it's like maybe they are going
after hip-hop but so many of so many people overall are just like shut up
that it just gets drowned out and it never bubbles its way to the surface
you know what I mean because all these all these catastrophes on social media
that happen are usually the result of one small thing that just gets lit on
fire and shared and shared and shared and shared so I think it's an overall
population reaction because those are the people that are sharing things and
those are the people that are driving the popularity and the outrage culture
so when someone says something about hip-hop about the the the terminology of
the language most people just like oh shut up turn it up I want to hear my
song well apply it apply it to another industry cuz that's fun so so imagine
you know the the famed motivational speaker Tony Robbins you know he's he's
given one of those seminars in those stadiums and he's got that weird voice
and any was weird teeth he gets on there and he says something like so if you buy
my book if you if you purchase this book and you and you do the lessons and you
get through step one all the way through step ten you are gonna make more income
you're gonna have a stronger relationship with your family you're
gonna have a better business and you're gonna have so many horse just an
abundance I have a question everybody's horse mr. Anthony Rattlers pouring out
your pockets falling out of your car doors we really just horse spilling out
of windows and crevices everywhere just an abundance and abundance of horse yes
sorry you had a question yeah I have a question mister I think Robbins you said
I'll have horse spilling out of my doors I have a two-door sedan which might be a
oxymoron but I have a two-door car should I get a four-door car so I'll

you deserved to you deserve to be well you got to know that when you sign up

approve of that I don't think it's right when you sign up for that video you have
to know what you're signing up for that's not like you're asking for it I'm

Şahsen ben küçük bir çocukken bu tarz küçük varlıkların bir gün gelip beni
ziyaret edeceğine inanır, onlara yorgan iğnelerinden kılıçlar düğmelerden kalkanlar
hazırlardım.
Bu yüzden de çok severek yaptığım bu araştırmayla sizleri başbaşa bırakıyorum.
Cüceliğin tıbbi tanımı, kalıtım veya metabolizma bozukluğu sebebiyle büyümenin
duraklaması sonucu boyun normal ölçülerin çok altında kalması durumudur.
Kalıtıma dayalı cücelerde zekâ seviyesi normal olmakla birlikte metabolizma kökenli
cücelerde çok defa hormon düzensizlikleri, zekâ geriliği vb. eksiklikler söz konusudur.
Çeşitli tipte olan cücelerin boyu 45 cm. ile 1 m. arasında değişir, bir kısmı
da kambur olur.
Şeklindedir.
Fakat bu tanım tarihi mitler de, kameralara yakalanan görüntüler de ve çeşitli görgü
tanıklıkları ile yerel halk inanışlarında ki cücelere karşılık gelmemektedir.
Nitekim dünya da cücelerin varlığının resmi olarak kabul edildiği Yeni Zellanda,
İrlanda, Danimarka ve İsveç gibi ülkeler de edinilen tecrübeler sonucu yapılan cüce
tanımlarında boyları 15 – 25 Cm arası olduğu sabittir.
Buda bilimin yaptığı tanımın mitlerde ki cücelerin tanımını karşılayamadığını
açıkça gözler önüne seriyor.
Başta Grek, İskandinav ve Cermen mitolojilerinde olmak üzere Doğu'da ve Batı'da çeşitli
ülkelerin mitolojilerinde cüceler folklor ve masalların vazgeçilmez kahramanlarındandır.
Pek çok masalda cücelere rastlanır.
Bazı masallarda cücelere orman cinleri, goblinler gibi farklı isimler de verilir.
Ayrıca yine tv dizileri çizgi filmler ve fantastik yapıtlarda cüceleri sıkça kullanır.
Şirinler bunlara güzel bir örnektir.
Kelt mitolojisinde Elfler, ışığın ve havanın yaratıkları, cücelerse karanlık
ve yeryüzüne ait yaratıklardır.
Genellikle mucit ve zanaatkâr olarak bilinirler.
Madenlerde çalışırlar ve paragözdürler.
Kötülüğe eğilimli cüce karakteri Alman romantikleri tarafından da kullanılır,
Grimm Kardeşler de masallarında kötücül cüceleri anlatırlar.
İskandinav mitlerin de tasvir edilen cücelere troller denilir.
İskandinav halklarının neredeyse %90'ı trollerin varlığını kabul etmekte ve inanmaktadır.
İzlandalılar için de durum benzerdir.
İzlandalılar cücelere canı gönülden inanırlar.
Bu nedenle bazı bina projeleri onların yaşam alanı olan kayaları zedelememesi için iptal
edilmiştir.
Cüceler kenti Hafnarfjörour, bu eski hikayelere meraklı insanlar için oldukça popüler
bir yerdir.
Cücelerin hala burada elektrik ve modern hayattan yoksun yaşadıklarına inanılıyor.
Magnus Skarpheoinsson uzun yıllardır cüceler ile ilgili anı ve belge biriktiriyor.
Cüceleri gördüğünü ve onlarla iletişim kurduğunu söyleyen yaklaşık 700 kişi
ile röportaj gerçekleştirmiş.
İzlanda'da cücelerle dalga geçmek ve onların yaşam alanları olan kayalara zarar
vermek suç sayılıyor.
Anlatılanlara göre, cücelerle insanların arasındaki ilişkiye saygı duymayan insanlara
uğursuzluk musibet oluyormuş.
Ayrıca Magnus Skarpheoinsson bizzat pek çok cüce gözlemi yaparak kayda almayı da başarmıştır.
Şimdi sizlerle dünyanın çeşitli bölgelerin de kameraya yakalanmış cücelerin videolarını
paylaşacağım ardından keşfedilen cüce şehriyle videoya kaldığımız yerden devam edeceğiz.
İran'ın Horasan eyaletinde cücelerin yaşadığı adı Makhunik olan 5 bin yıllık
antik bir kent keşfedildi.
Sürekli yeni kalıntıların çıkarıldığı kentte 20 cm uzunlukta mumyalanmış bir cesede
rastlandı.
Bundan dolayı, Makhunik'in de aralarında bulunduğu 13 köyün bir zamanlar var olan
antik cüceler şehrinin kanıtı olduğu düşünülüyor.
Antik cüceler şehri Makhunik, 1946 yılına dek herhangi bir medeniyetin yaşamadığı
sanılan Lut Çölü'nün merkezine 60 km mesafedeki bir bölgede Tahran Üniversitesi
Coğrafya Fakültesi tarafından keşfedildi.
Antik şehirdeki yapıların kalıntıları Jonathan Swift'in ünlü romanı "Güliver'in
Gezileri" kitabında yer alan ve cüceler ülkesi olarak geçen Liliput kentine ya da
J.R.R.
Tolkien'in "Yüzüklerin Efendisi" kitabındaki Hobbitlerin köyüne benziyor.
Makhunik antik şehrinin Sümer mitolojisinde geçen iki mistik krallıktan biri olan Uruk
krallığının Aratta uygarlığına ait bir şehri olduğu ve cüce insanların burada
M.Ö. 6000 yılından beri yaşadığı tahmin ediliyor.
Kentte bulunan küçük boyutlu yapılar da buna kanıt olarak gösteriliyor.
Ayrıca insanlık tarihinin en eski metal bayrağı bu antik şehirde bulundu.
20 santimetre boyundaki mumyalanmış bir cüce ise antik cüceler kentine teorisine
en ciddi kanıt olarak gösterildi.
Arkeologlar, cücenin cesedini inceledikten sonra, cesedin doğal işlemlerle mumyalanmış
olabileceğini belirtmişti.
Mumya üzerinde yapılan araştırmalar neticesinde, cücenin öldüğünde 16-17 yaşlarında
olduğu saptanmıştı.
Sümer tabletlerin de bahsedilen cüceler diyarının Makhunik kenti olduğu düşünülmektedir.
Sümerlilerce cüceler saygın ve doğa üstü varlıklar olarak görülmekteydi.
Tabletlerde anlatıldığına göre bu bölgeye normal insanların girmesi yasaktı.
Cüceler diyarına yılda 1 defa krallar ve seçtiği çok az sayıda ki mahiyetleri gider
yolda yükleri taşıyan işçilerinse gözleri bağlanırdı.
Krallar cücelere sevgilerini belirtmek için onlara yiyecekler değerli taşlar ve takılar
gibi özel armağanlar götürürlerdi.
Cüceler de buna binaen krallara kendi yaptıkları sihirli bir broş hediye ederlerdi.
Krallar savaşa gittiklerinde bu broşu mutlaka takarlardı.
Broşların uğur getirdiğine ve doğa üstü güçleri olduğuna inanılırdı.
Her broşun farklı hava koşulları üzerinde etkisi olduğu düşünülürdü.
Bir broş rüzgar çıkartması için yapılırken bir başkası ise kar yağdırmaya yarardı.
