So that also people aren't getting access to your phone if you plug it into the wrong port.
These location trackers aren't actually GPS
they would not pickup the satellites indoors anyway.
They use the cell towers as far as I know, I'm not sure of the tech but it's accurate to about 1-2 kilometers.
Which is more than good enough if you know where the persons home and work are
and want to know which they are at- either to find them or do something while they are not there.
They're also cheap, maybe $5 dollars.
so it's easy to buy a bunch and leave them around so they get grabbed at random.

If you have a USB charger carefully positioned facing towards the bed
well unplug it, or turn it 90 degrees.
Same thing with a laptop or a phone in it's charging cradle.
They can record just fine with the screen off
and there's no reason they need to be facing towards any intimate activity.

And if they are that's a bit odd and worth a look.
One thing to keep in mind almost all these devices have a very narrow field of view
usually less than 90 degrees.
So they have to be pointed at exactly where the perpetrator thinks the action is going to be
and it's hard to do that and still have their position look natural.
So just like I said be careful about your surroundings.

There are devices that use red LEDs and a red filter to detect hidden lenses but they are a bit fussy
and I don't think they work very well

I'd still say the most common spying tools are phone and laptop malware- commercial spy problems.
Never accept a phone or laptop as a gift, you can reinstall the operating system or factory reset them
but they will never be as secure as one that you bought yourself.
And of course, always keep your laptop camera covered.

Now to answer your question about dead people coming back to life, in a way, yeah, they
can!
There's something known as the Lazarus Phenomenon and it's where someone springs back to life
after they had appeared to be clinically dead.
It's defined as a delayed return of spontaneous circulation, also known as ROSC, after you
had already stopped giving someone CPR.
A 2007 study reported that these delayed ROSCs usually occur within about 10 minutes, recommending
that you should try and still passively monitor someone for at least those 10 minutes after
stopping CPR before confirming their death.
10 minutes might not seem like a lot of time, but if that isn't enough to give you a bad
case of taphophobia, I don't know what will!

Dear Blocko, What Causes our nightmares to be so scary?
Well first off, if you're having nightmares, don't worry too much about it because they're
a totally normal thing to have.
They're more common in children, though adults can certainly get them too.
But since nightmares can be pretty scary, and can cause some people to wake up or lose
sleep over them, I totally get why you'd want to learn more about why your dreams can
be so spooky!
The exact reason is a little bit of a mystery, but some believe that scary dreams are a manifestation
of sorts for any real dangers or problems that you come across in your life.
Anxiety and depression may also play a role here in causing you to have nightmares, along
with things like PTSD.
Others point to certain medications, like antidepressants, being the culprit.
It could be any of these things — or maybe some sort of combination of them— that make
your nightmares so scary.
It can also be just random.
All I know is that me and my meddling friends here need to find out who that spooky monster
really is before they strike again!
