WWE Top 10 Wrestlers Who Should QUIT In 2019! | WrestleTalk - Duration: 12:52.I think it's safe to say that plenty of kids dream of growing up to become a wrestler
in the WWE, few of them ever actually try (the trying at all wa pretty much where I
stopped) and fewer still actually make it into the company.
In fact, many have to fight bust their asses to make their mark on the indys before that
contract ever drops, then it's a case of working your way up through NXT to the main
roster and then it's fighting tooth and claw for even the slightest hint of a push.
And all the while you've got to hope that the WWE sorting hat doesn't drop down and
proclaim '205 Live'.
Because that is where obscurity goes to hide.
Sadly.
And even after all of that, if you finally do get your push, it could be all over in
a matter of moments.
WWE has made it a habit in 2018 of criminally wasting talent.
And you know what, we think those guys and girls should really consider leaving in 2019.
So I'm El Fakidor Laurie Blake and here are 10 wrestlers that should quit WWE in 2019,
because WWE ain't treating you right girlfriend.
The Revival
In NXT the pairing of Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder were heralded as the second coming
of The Brain Busters.
The old school duo were a throwback to a time when tag team wrestling was an artform and
the "well-oiled machine" cliché was actually applicable to them.
Since being called up to the main roster their fortunes have tumbled dramatically.
Their cause was not exactly helped by injuries that ruled out both men consecutively last
year but there are no such excuses in 2018.
Where they have been given the role of elevated jobbers, used to put over whichever random
doubles act WWE want to push in a given week.
Being the B Team to the B Team does not make you the A Team.
That's not how maths works, it's not even maths because it's letters and words.
The Revival should be the standard bearers of a division, not fodder for lesser lights.
In Japan or on the independent scene the duo could become the best tag team in the world.
Clearly that is never going to happen under the WWE umbrella.
Plus there's the whole flirtations with the Young Bucks about a match on Twitter and
the potential of a move to All Elite Wrestling if that becomes a thing.
Looks like the F The Revival joke has changed meaning… to a flirty one.
Finn Balor
Finn Balor looked set to transfer his NXT success to the WWE main roster following his
call up in 2018, especially when he became the first ever Universal Champion within months
of debuting on Raw.
Unfortunately injury caused him to vacate the title and miss eight months of action.
He was still immensely popular upon his return (as the endless stream of Balor cosplayers
present at any given WWE show proves) but his push was over.
Balor has rarely been anywhere near the top title picture since, forced to waste away
in pointless and damaging programmes against the likes of Bray Wyatt, Baron Corbin and
Bobby Lashley, all of which have made him look less like a demon king and more like
an impish chump.
The Irishman spent the majority of his career with NJPW and could easily slot back into
the fold as a bigger star than when he left.
He would also be a perfect fit for the proposed new AEW group given his connections to the
former Bullet Club.
Good Brothers
The exact same can be said for Balor's former Bullet Club buddies The Good Brothers, Karl
Anderson and Luke Gallows.
The duo were a top level act in NJPW as part of Bullet Club but have been reduced to bit
part players in 2018, rarely wrestling on SmackDown Live and almost never on pay-per-view.
And really only ever seen backstage where it feels like we're interrupting their own
brother-verse of conversation.
Nerds.
The pair are a strong tag team and are capable of putting on totally absorbing matches and
have wonderful abs, they have simply never been afforded the opportunity to demonstrate
that in their three years with WWE.
It would be no surprise at all to see them Club together with Balor and leave in 2019.
Kevin Owens
Few NXT call ups have enjoyed the sort of immediate success that Kevin Owens had when
he first debuted on Raw in 2015.
Owens attacked John Cena then proceeded to cleanly beat the untouchable Superman at Elimination
Chamber in a belter of a match.
Owens had a great first year on the main roster, mixing it up with the top tier guys and capturing
Intercontinental gold.
At the back end of 2016 he formed a celebrated union with Chris Jericho and became Universal
Champion (due to Finn Balor vacating the title, and thanks to an assist from Triple H).
He was the top man on Raw.
Defeat to Goldberg in short order was the start of Owens' decline.
His 2017 programmes that followed were underwhelming and 2018 has been something of a write off
due to a combination of injuries and atrocious booking.
Getting bullied on a weekly basis by a 'babyface' Braun Strowman is super harmful to one's
career.
As is ingesting blue porta-potty juice.
Owens remains extremely popular with the fan base and has a far greater name value than
he did prior to joining WWE.
He could be a difference maker elsewhere.
And he could sell those panda shirts again.
Love those.
Chad Gable
The accomplished amateur looked like the second coming of Kurt Angle when he and Jason Jordan
started making names for themselves as American Alpha in NXT.
As with so many on this list, the transition from NXT to WWE proved to be a difficult one.
Gable is one of the most exciting wrestlers on the WWE roster yet most-likely because
of his diminutive size and the fact that it just wouldn't be believable for him to be
Kurt Angle's son… he played second fiddle to Jason Jordan and is now paired up with
the equally misused Bobby Roode.
And even a run with the Raw Tag Titles won't fix that, they're basically worthless.
Gable's amateur wrestling abilities would make him an intriguing addition to the NJPW
roster.
Shinsuke Nakamura
The signing of New Japan ace Shinsuke Nakamura was one of WWE's most surprising in recent
memory.
The charismatic and ultra-flamboyant proponent of strong style was so opposite to typical
WWE signings that there was a sense of great intrigue about how the promotion would handle
him.
Fears were alleviated somewhat by Nakamura's superb NXT debut against Sami Zayn in 2016
and his impressive run as NXT Champion later in the year.
In 2017 Nakamura was brought up to the main roster to much fanfare.
Treated like and received as a star, Nakamura looked set to become a major figure on SmackDown
Live.
Instead he was used to put over the vastly inferior Jinder Mahal on multiple occasions,
harming his credibility.
Nakamura won the Royal Rumble and faced AJ Styles at WrestleMania but his stock with
the fans had fallen to such a degree that WWE turned him heel after the match.
The magical aura surrounding Nakamura had been lost.
WWE clearly had no idea how to book a Japanese star as a babyface so reverted to their xenophobic
worst, having him portray the role of a "sneaky" Japanese heel.
It was the old Pearl Harbour reference, in 2018!
Wrestling might have moved on but Vince McMahon has not.
Nakamura's main roster run could best be described as 'okay'.
It has not been terrible but it has not set the world on fire.
Clearly WWE see him as a midcard act, which is just not good enough for a man who was
on top of the world in NJPW.
A return to the promotion with a new legion of western fans behind him could be spectacular.
Sami Zayn
Indy standout El Generico became NXT standout Sami Zayn, who for a while was the best babyface
in the business.
Nobody came close to him when it came to sympathy selling and getting audiences emotionally
invested in his matches.
An injury suffered during his surprise Raw debut in Montreal against John Cena set Sami
back considerably.
By the time he returned to NXT and was then called up to the main roster, Vince McMahon
likely already had him pegged as injury prone or "not marketable".
The way he was booked certainly suggested that.
Zayn's heel turn and union with Kevin Owens helped him for a while until a disastrous
programme with Bobby Lashley (and his sisters) caused Sami to take several steps backwards.
The story of his WWE main roster career.
When Zayn returns from injury it will be interesting to see how WWE handles him.
Chances are this latest lengthy layoff will not help his cause and he will find himself
mired back in the midcard.
He can do so much better than that.
Perhaps it's time for El Generico to hand over management of that orphanage and lace
up the boots once more.
Hideo Itami
The man who took Japan by storm while wrestling as KENTA in Pro Wrestling NOAH has been lost
to the talent graveyard known as 205 Live.
Although 205 Live is frequently one of the most entertaining WWE television shows of
the week, so few people watch it (less than watch NXT UK and shows like Ride Along) that
anything that happens there is like a dark match in a black hole.
Itami took time to nest into the WWE way of doing things but has really found his stride
this year as a vicious heel.
On occasion the 'old' KENTA surfaces and those glimpses have been tantalizing.
But really he seems destined to bounce around in 205 Live forever, until either injury or
age catch up with him.
Get out of there Itami.
And then we'll really respect you.
Asuka
It is perhaps no coincidence that Asuka is the third Japanese name on this list.
Her career in WWE has followed a similar pattern to her countrymen: she came into the promotion
with much fanfare following a very successful and celebrated spell in Japan and she started
hot in NXT before falling foul of woeful main roster booking.
Somehow, in just over a year, Asuka has gone from the invincible killer who went unbeaten
in NXT for over 500 days while NXT Women's Champion to a part-time player on SmackDown
who did two pay-per-view jobs to Carmella in 2018.
Ultimately, WWE has failed her.
Yeah ,winning the first ever women's Royal Rumble was a big deal and her match with Charlotte
Flair at WrestleMania was strong but the result was damaging.
Losing her unbeaten streak hurt Asuka.
WWE felt they had no choice because prior to that they were struggling to know what
to do with her, as their formulaic 50-50 booking template does not account for winning streaks
and unbeaten runs.
By the time Evolution rolled around she was in a throwaway battle royal.
Whether Asuka would be better off outside of WWE is another matter.
There are not a great deal of places for female wrestlers to go to make significant money
outside of WWE.
If the proposed AEW promotion has a women's division (which surely it will) then perhaps
that could be an option for the Empress Of Tomorrow.
Or maybe she fancies her chances in the Impact Knockouts division.
The Undertaker
Unlike everyone else on this list, the reasons that The Undertaker should leave WWE are not
to pursue potential options elsewhere but rather so that he can preserve his own legacy.
At WrestleMania in 2017 it looked like a defeat to Roman Reigns in the main event was the
passing of the torch moment to WWE's new chosen one.
Undertaker then left his gear in the ring and walked off into the sunset.
By which I mean backstage.
It was a memorable and moving moment either way.
Then, for no good reason, bar money, he came back earlier this year.
At WrestleMania he defeated John Cena in short order, then he wrestled again on WWE's trio
of international shows Greatest Royal Rumble, Super Showdown and Crown Jewel.
In all four of these big time appearances Undertaker looked a shell of his former self.
The Phenom has a reputation as one of the all-time greats, and rightfully so.
However, in order for him to preserve that and not go from the Deadman to Walking Dead
he needs to hang up the boots for good.
WWE turns to Undertaker every year at WrestleMania due to its own shortcomings in creating new
stars.
Perhaps if Undertaker quits for good then he will force their hand into remedying that
problem.

So those are some people who should quit WWE, but what about the folks who have already
been given the old heave ho?

Veterinary tech, 24, who could lose an eye after joined Tinder date with a YouTube star - Duration: 11:29.Veterinary tech, 24, who could lose an eye after being stabbed on a Tinder date with a YouTube star who 'lost control'
A 25-year-old YouTube bodybuilder from Massachusetts died late Thursday after he was tased by police who found him violently stabbing a woman he met on Tinder at his mom's home.
Cohasset police arrived to Erich Stelzer's residence around 10pm when they said he repeatedly slashed his date, newly identified by her family as 24-year-old veterinary assistant Maegan Tapley, in the face with a knife.
District Attorney spokesperson Peggie Krippendorf said in a statement: 'In an effort to rescue the victim and disarm Stelzer, Cohasset police officers used Tasers to subdue Stelzer.
Stelzer became unresponsive soon after the tasing, and stopped breathing while being transported to the hospital. The victim, meanwhile, was treated for severe injuries. Police said she will likely lose her eye.
Tapley's mother, Susan Tapley, said in a statement seen on NBC Boston that her daughter will recover from the traumatic attack.
'She's going to mend, she's going to be alright. it's going to take time to recover. She'll need plastic surgery and an eye specialist,' she said.
A source told WBZ-TV that Stelzer was in an 'altered mental state' or suffering a 'possible mental health issue' at the time of the domestic violence incident.
His neighbor, Fred Siegel, told the local station: 'It's unfortunate you never want to see anybody get hurt and you certainly don't want to see someone die over something. 'It's unfortunate that it happened and who knows why it happened.
It's currently unclear what transpired between the two before the brutal slashing that occurred just two days after Christmas.
The pair recently linked up on the popular hook-up dating app, Tinder. The man is estimated to be 6'8" and nearly 300lbs. The girl appears petite. The District Attorney's office has not given word on a possible motive for the stabbing.
Further investigation is now underway. Harry Stelzer, the father of the online fitness guru, took to his Facebook page Friday to share the news.
'I received some real bad news last night. My youngest child Erich Stelzer died last night. There was a violet confrontation at his house last nite. Police came and tased him 4 times. 4 times,' the distraught dad wrote.
'He died on the way to the hospital. He was my life. This is not over. Let me bury my dead and then the show begins. Rest In Peace my son. Love you for ever.
He later shared a childhood photo of his late son, adding: 'My son. Here comes the cover up.'.

What Should My YouTube Name Be? - Duration: 10:26.Have you ever asked the question what should my YouTube name be? Obviously this
would be for someone who's just getting into YouTube. Just starting their own
channel. We're going to give you some advice and some tips right now. -So, you probably
watched another one of our episodes and learned the value of YouTube. The power
of what you can do. So I think, "Okay, what should the name be? How should I name
this channel?" -Yeah. -There's 3 different categories that I have broken
this down. And you can name it after your company. If you've got a business or
something. You could call it the name of your business. You could you know, use
your personal name. You could call it the Scott Christopher channel. -Which I
do on this channel right here. Scott Christopher channel. Because I don't
really have a... I mean I have a business but I'm... It's weird. I'm a complicated case.
Let's go to the third thing. _The third option would be to have it be a
topic-based channel. Maybe it's a science channel so you call it all things
science. You know, something like that. -Oh, so create the title around the theme
itself. Got you, yeah. That's good. -So and there's pros and cons of both. A lot of
this audience that's watching this video are businesses that are wanting to
market their services. And the temptation might be to name your channel after your
business. And that's actually the one that I'm going to least recommend.
Because YouTube is a place where you can really build a following. And if you... If
you want people to follow you, they're more likely going to follow you as a person
than to follow your company. -Hmm. Interesting.-Thing about the channels that you're
subscribed to. Do you follow any companies? -Probably not. now that you
mention it. Yeah. -I don't think that I do. -It depends on the company name. If the
company name sounds like a catchy clever thematic YouTube channel then great. But
you're right. Most of them are just named something, somewhat staid and boring. Yeah.
-Let's think of a company that I might follow... -Even Microsoft, for example. I mean,
would you follow Microsoft on YouTube? Of course for Mac users. But we would
probably. It said... If it was the apples channel. -Okay,
so there's one. I do follow SpaceX. -That's a company. I follow SpaceX because I like
to watch their live broadcasts of their rocket launches. So, that is an example of
one where you know, if the channel was called Elon Musk,
I might subscribe more to that channel. If it was actually him and I was
following him. -Yeah, that's true. But... So there's kind of a difference
there. -But we know with like you see we're talking to entrepreneurs. Probably
a lot of small business owners as well. And again, I think maybe the actual
name of their company might not jump off the screen at people. But if it does
happen to be clever and cool and SpaceX sounds like what you're looking at. -Let's
go through each of these three types and talk about the advantages and
disadvantages. Let's start first with naming it after your company or business.
A big disadvantage that I see is that people are going to assume that you're
going to be promoting to them. -Right, yeah. -I mean you could be vlogging, you could be
a how-to without any sales pitch at all. But if they see the logo, you know, as the
icon of the channel, they see, "Oh, this is the whatever." -Metropolitan life
insurance, whatever. -Yeah, exactly. -Why do I want to watch videos on in life channels? -I have a
question about money or about something. But it's like from... "Oh, it's
this is from a life insurance company." -Right. -I'm probably not going to continue
watching it. -That's true. -Right? So, what are... That's a disadvantage. What's an
advantage of a company? -Well again, you know, the top of mind awareness of a good
company name. And especially if the company name itself evokes kind of a
sense of what you have consultants... -I have a good example. GoPro. The
GoPro YouTube channel. Yeah, we know that they market their cameras but if we've
seen a lot of their videos and they're not commercials, right? We
know... So there is a right way of doing branded channel. -And there
are larger organizations like them that also have a political bent or some other
platform that people are familiar with and they go... Well, if I go see the
Nike thing, you know, they do a lot of inspirational stuff. And just it's about
athletes. Even their commercials don't really
shove any... They don't do any price an item. There's no shoes. You never see the
Nike shoe on sale at Kmart 79. It's not about that. It's about you know, just a
cool invigorating commercial. And so I think there are some advantages in that
way. -I mean you'll notice that the examples that we can think of that are
doing it well are big big brands that have invested a lot in their name and in
their brand. But if you think about you know, just a small business owner or a
solopreneur that names that after their business that nobody knows. -Bob's
cars. Yeah. Whatever. I mean, we're not going to go look at that. Unless... I
guess if we're looking for cars, that might actually be pretty useful. But... -Well
if I wanted to know how to... How to refill my radiator. I don't know. if you don't know
how to refill your radiator, you probably don't know how to handle a
computer, yeah. -Okay. So let's go to topic based. What are some advantages and
disadvantages of a topic-based channel? One that I follow is called Veritasium.
It's a science-based channel. Oh, there's another one. Another science one called
smarter every day. The advantage is you know what's coming. You know what future
videos are going to be about. You know what the archives are going to be about. If it's...
There's another one that I think of. Physics... Physics Gal or Physics Girl. You
know that her videos are going to be generally about physics and
science. And so... I think of a teacher that wants to show videos. Or there's
another one. There's King of Random. Or there's Studio C. You know, it's
sketch comedy. So, you know what to expect when you go to those those channels. I
think those are some advantages. Can you think of any other advantages? I think of
one disadvantage. -I think the advantages you're saying are
right on. I mean which is just that... And also, I think the other advantage might
even be search engine... I mean, if you have... If you've titled your channel right
because of its theme, it may be something people are looking for already. And then
your channel comes right up. -Yeah. So, one disadvantage is I've seen a lot
of YouTubers that have topic-based channels like that that want to create
other types of videos. That they end up creating different
channels. They feel like, "Well, I can't really vlog on this channel because this
channel is..." So, there's a channel called What's Inside? And as you can guess, they
cut things open and find out what's inside. So they'll say, "What's inside an
iPhone...? This is a 6s." So, they've cut it open and see what's inside. Then if
they want to go on a family vacation and vlog about it, they can't really put it
on the what's inside because they're not showing what's inside anything. So they
did. They created a separate... They call it What's Inside Family. So they... Now, they
can just do family adventures. Don't mock them, they're my friends. -I'm not mocking.
-I know. They're really okay. They're really fun.
But even Veritassium. He created Veritasium2 or you can just vlog and
do stuff that's that's just more chatty and conversational. -Do your friends watch
these? I don't think What's Inside People... Even if they are your friends. -Dan, you
watch these. -I can't imagine. You already knows how to do.He doesn't need your
help. Look at him, he's got a million viewers. -Already got a YouTube. He doesn't need a
watch this episode. -That YouTube Army. -So I guess... I guess we can tease. Okay. So what are
the advantages and disadvantages of a person channel or channel named after
you? The advantages are huge. People... People want to follow people. So if
you're a person and... -I doggone it you better be. Because we need to count
you as a viewer. So if you're a person with a name, people want to follow you
more than a thing, a topic, a theme or an organization. It's just... It's more of a
personal connection there. And it's more exciting. Especially if the person
has some name notoriety too. If their name says something. You know what I mean? Like,
we've heard of this guy or this girl. -Yeah. Well... So think of... Think about Casey
Neistat. His channel's name Casey Neistat. He recently... The latest series on
his show is called 3-6-8. But think if he would have had that title
from the beginning and if that's what I named his channel. 3-6-8. Maybe
that would have become a popular channel. I think it would have been harder to do
so. But less people would know him by name. I mean a lot of people in the
YouTube world know who Casey Neistat is because he kind of
created his own vlogging style that everyone else copies. And... -Well, plus by
using just his name, he isn't limiting himself at all. Like
the What's Inside People, for example, had to make What's Inside Family. Casey Neistat,
can be anything. Even if we're associating him with a certain kind of
vlog, really, the title of his vlog is just a name. So therefore, he can put all
kinds of things under that one umbrella If he wants to. His brand. -Now I know, a
lot of our viewers here also watching this video on LinkedIn. LinkedIn is... It is
a different animal because you don't create a name for your channel. It is
tied to a person. -Mm-hmm. -So, in this case, it plays most specifically. Obviously,
you're watching this channel on Nate Woodbury. Because it's linked to my
profile, my account. -That's a good point, yeah. It's all about name on LinkedIn.
-So, hopefully you found this video helpful. And hopefully, that gave you some
guidance on what you should name your channel. Kind of leaning towards the name.
But sometimes you might want to go towards the topic. And in rare cases, go
after the company. So, I have a couple questions for you to leave in the
comments. One, are there more categories than the 3... Do you think I covered it all?
Or something I'm missing? And then I want to know what are you going to name your
YouTube channel. Obviously, I know what your LinkedIn is going to be because it's a
name. But what... Comment below what are you going to name your YouTube channel. -Or what
have you named your YouTube channel? Especially if it's a whacky one. -If it's
a whacky one, what are you going to change it to? -Or not. -We'll see you tomorrow.
