Triple H Takeovers Raw Triple H opened the show recapping all the
Elimination Chamber title changes], said Becky Lynch was cool for beating up Ronda Rousey
and Charlotte (but not when it's him who's suspending her) and that he's going into
this year's Hall of Fame with DX.
So far, so generic Triple H in-ring promo.
But then he revealed that top NXT stars Ricochet, Aleister Black, Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny
Gargano would be debuting on tonight's Raw.
What a shock announcement that I'm sure has absolutely nothing to do with Raw's
massive ratings decline, how it's severely lacking in star power or that new thing called
All Elite Wrestling.
Perhaps the sudden call-ups could be the much needed shake-up to Raw's non-existent main
event scene.
Perhaps this really is a New Era!
And to prove that Raw is changing, the in-ring action is going to kick off with...
Braun Strowman beat Baron Corbin Braun Strowman vs Baron Corbin.
You were so close, WWE!
Braun beat Corbin in a tables match, with Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley nowhere to
be seen.
So that Elimination Chamber angle meant nothing.
Hopefully that's the end of this incredibly dull feud.
Paul Heyman's Here Because Brock Lesnar Isn't!
Hopefully we'll also soon be seeing the end of Brock's reign of absence.
Because as cool as video packages hyping him are, having Paul Heyman cut a promo introducing
a video package of Paul Heyman cutting a promo about Lesnar was laughable.
Finn Balor & Ricochet beat Bobby Lashley & Lio Rush
Admittedly, Lesnar's probably not around because Finn Balor and Seth Rollins made him
believe so hard.
Really taught him a lesson, lads.
The new Intercontinental champion was jumped next by Lio Rush and Bobby Lashley because
I guess that Elimination Chamber angle also meant nothing.
Cue Ricochet running down for the save.
Or, more aptly, 'handspring somersaulting into a forward roll 650 senton down for the
save'.
While he got his s-word in and the winning pin over Rush, this was far from the most
effective debut of Ricochet.
An NXT call-up from outta nowhere, with half an hour's build and no contextual character
work… in a formulaic midcard tag match with Balor and Bobby Rush-ley.
It's ok, though, I'm sure they've got something special planned for the other three
guys.
Lucha House Party beat Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins Curt Hawkins continued his losing streak with
Zack Ryder against Lucha House Party.
Heavy Machinery & Lacey Evans Walk The Walk With all the new shiny NXT stars on this show,
you'd might worry WWE wouldn't get time to continue systematically ruining the last
bunch of call-ups.
Silly you, of course they'd have time.
Raw's three hours.
Lacey Evans got to do her half-entrance gimmick, which was bad, and then Heavy Machinery did
their version of it.
Which was also bad.
Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa beat The Revival The next two NXT call-ups were arguably the
biggest of the bunch - the NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa and his long term frenemy, the North
American Champion Johnny Gargano.
Not that long term storylines matter, though, as Ciampa and Johnny behaved like humble babyfaces
here representing their beloved NXT - a promotion they've run roughshod over for the last
year.
It's just the latest example of NXT existing in a separate, much better continuity to the
main roster.
Whatever's going on, it's hard to complain too much when you get The Revival vs DIY,
who of course wrestled a very good match.
Sadly though, it wasn't just WWE's short-sighted booking that made this show so frustrated,
it was also the Louisiana crowd, who hardly reacted to the match and debuting wrestlers.
But, then again, it's not all their fault.
This isn't the Raw after WrestleMania crowd, who know every word to Bobby Roode's entrance
music.
This is Lafayette, a relatively small town seemingly there to enjoy main roster wrestlers
they know from TV - not a show built around four brand new wrestlers with practically
zero context.
WWE choosing to debut their NXT call-ups here hints towards a last-minute, not-well-thought
strategy.
And this should have most definitely been the main event to at least make it look like
WWE cared about making these guys top stars.
Bayley & Sasha Banks Cut Scripted In-Ring Promo
Even with all the real-life emotion of becoming WWE's inaugural Women's Tag Team Champions,
scripted in-ring promos aren't Bayley and Sasha Banks' thing, and this was pretty
stilted.
It got worse when Nia Jax and Tamina came out, to be lamely chased off.
Drew McIntyre beat Dean Ambrose Drew McIntyre demanded a match against Seth
Rollins from Triple H backstage - but remember, there are no authority figures - and Dean
Ambrose just walked up and slapped him instead.
This resulted in McIntyre beating Ambrose in just two minutes.
I've gotta hand it to Vince, this whole Dean leaving WWE storyline is one hell of
a work.
Ambrose asked Seth Rollins backstage afterwards why he didn't help him out in his match,
forgetting the last four months of blood feuding between the two.
Give me some of that sweet, sweet medicine.
Wait a second… what's that noise?
It sounds like a drumroll.
Could it be… the Terry Funks counter has returned for Dean Ambrose!
Which says his current Funks given status is… 0.
Aleister Black Debuts In An Elias Segment When you thought of Aleister Black's main
roster debut, you probably fantasy booked a showdown with the Undertaker, or maybe knocking
out a top champion with one kick.
But sometimes, like with Kofi Kingston last week, WWE gives you something you never knew
you wanted: a competitive match against Elias.
You only get one chance to debut, and this was the cherry on top of Raw's crap cake.
Every single NXT call-up was lacklustre, rushed, firmly in the midcard and wasting of almost
unlimited potential.
I'm not saying they won't get over and be booked better in time - although looking
at the last several years of NXT call-ups, not the best track record for that - but I
am saying this episode of Raw and their debuts is a stupidly short-sighted rush job on WWE's
behalf, likely stuck in the damaging mentality of NXT wrestlers having to work from the ground
up on the main roster, rather than debuting them as what they could be: major stars who
can rejuvenate the desperately empty main event scene.
And these debuts aren't just wasteful of the wrestlers themselves, or the potential
main roster storylines they could have been introduced in.
It also significantly undermines NXT and these four guys years of fantastic character work
and feuds.
Ronda Rousey beat Ruby Riott And to cap off a terrible show, we got a rematch
of that classic 2 minute Ruby Riott vs Ronda Rousey bout from the previous night.
A match that makes no sense in being booked, as Ronda had beaten Riott easily.
She did so again here, and then she beat up the rest of the Riott Squad.
And that's your main event angle.
Utter crap.
In my opinion, this was one of the most damaging episodes of WWE television I've ever seen.
Not just because of it being weirdly boring considering the shock NXT call-ups - some
shocks aren't that great, after all, like surprise punch in the ball - but also because
how this affects the future of the promotion, ineffectively debuting what was supposed to
be your next few years of top talent.
This week's Raw is a low, low, low, low, low Rawful.
Now over to Luke, who's got the latest on what Kofi Kingston is doing at WrestleMania,
and some very weird comments from Paige on WWE fans…

Kofi Kingston WrestleMania Plans Revealed?
Kofi Kingston has had the most incredible seven days of his professional career.
This time last week, Kofi was just part of the fun tag team act New Day with no place
on the Elimination Chamber card - and then one Smackdown episode later he's pinned
Jeff Hardy, Samoa Joe and WWE Champion Daniel Bryan - and then a few days later he's pinned
Randy Orton inside the Chamber and got arguably the biggest crowd reactions of the whole night
- nearly winning the WWE Championship from Captain Planet himself.
This performance - and the shot of Kofi and his New Day pals sat outside the Chamber with
the WrestleMania sign looming over their heads - had led a lot of fans to plead with WWE
to give Kofi a WWE Championship shot at WrestleMania - paying off an 11-year run with the company
by winning arguably their top title.
However according to Dave Meltzer on Twitter, Daniel Bryan vs. Kofi Kingston for the WWE
Championship at WrestleMania is not the plan as of Monday.
When one fan said that WWE would have a plan for Bryan at WrestleMania in place, Meltzer
cryptically responded saying, "They know now".
Which certainly ties into WWE announcing that Bryan's Fastlane opponent will be revealed
on Smackdown tonight, which should give us a better indication of Bryan's road to WrestleMania
and a potential match with Kingston.

And even with the incredible wave of momentum for Kofi Kingston, one of the biggest matches
being talked about for Mania is the triple threat between Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair
and Becky Lynch - a match that many are speculating will be the actual main event of the show,
as in the match that actually closes out the night.
It's a huge step in WWE's corporately created Women's Evolution - which has seen
women headline PPVs, get their own PPV and even introduce new main roster titles.
It's certainly a big step up from WWE presenting women as sideshow attractions for titilation,
or piss breaks to buffer quote "proper matches" - something many fans lobbied for hard with
the #GiveDivasAChance movement.
But, not according to Paige it would seem.
Paige here told GulfNews in an interview to promote her biopic Fighting With My Family,
"It was never WWE holding the women back.
It was the fans not taking them seriously."
As you would image, these comments caught the ire of many wrestling fans who took against
being blamed for WWE presenting women a certain way - with Twitter user Boris compiling this
amazing Twitter thread showing various examples of that not being the case like Michelle McCool
revealing she and Melina were shouted at backstage for being "better than the guys", and
was once told to re-tape one of her matches because her punches looked to good, Nikki
Bella saying one of her matches with AJ Lee getting cut from 15 minutes to 30 seconds,
and even Trish Stratus revealing that she once lost her Women's Championship because
she refused to kiss Torrie Wilson as she didn't it fit her character.
Paige has fired back on Twitter, saying that her comment of "it was never WWE holding
women back.
It was the fans" was taken out of context saying it was a combination of the fans and
WWE.
She told one fan, "Even up to a few years ago certain places we would wrestle in, the
fans in big arenas would chant boring to the girls or start the wave or for years chanted
"we want puppies", telling another "Fans back then would call us toilet breaks.
It was only when the girls, the female superstars took it upon themselves to change the way
anyone perceived us."
Adding in another tweet, "In reality what I said was it's not all on WWE.
Up until a few years ago women didn't have the support from a lot of people."

hey cousin back for another video and today I'm gonna talk about hightail
again and man I've posted a lot of videos about this game and if I'm
overhyping things for you guys and making you like super duper anxious for
launch I apologize but anyway speaking of hype today I'm going to discuss
whether or not hightail will live up to the hype
so before we answer this question we need to consider what does it mean for a
game to be overhyped well let's look at no man's sky for an example if you guys
don't know what that game is then you got lucky I'm gonna give her brief
summary and nonetheless sell no man's sky was a game that before launch was
hyped up and it told players that they would be able to explore the universe
and be able to explore trillions of worlds literally trillions of worlds and
each one would be unique there'd be different stuff to get there you'd be
able to fight enemies gather equipment so it'd basically be like Minecraft in
space except it's not blocks and there's like a bajillion worlds to go to
infinite stuff and you'd have these really sick looking spaceships and you'd
be able to do all sorts of crap and it was multiplayer and apparently everybody
played in the same universe but everything is so freaking big that the
chances of finding another player without like straight up traveling to
them would be close to impossible because trillions of planets but after
launch things were extremely disappointing I mean literally no man's
sky was a game that people looked at is almost a life simulator and no man's guy
was seen as a video game where you could do almost anything problem is when the
game released you could do almost nothing in comparison at least I mean
the performance of the game was bad every time he made it to a new planet it
was almost like the last one except it just looked a little different but like
everything functioned exactly the same on launched you couldn't even there
wasn't even more the game literally was not even
multiplayer even though they advertised that it was because what ended up
happening is two players found the same planet and they tried to meet up and
they went in the same exact spot and they didn't see each other so let that
be a lesson to anybody that pre-orders games luckily I was able to return mine
my copy of the game I mean if you saw my livestream of it it was a disaster the
performance issues alone made it almost unplayable like one of the coolest
sequences in the game was going like hyper speed and like exiting a plane but
during the whole freaking ordeal it was lagging and it was horrible well luckily
though no man sky has been you know the devs actually are continuing to work on
it they are giving it some love and it has been making a comeback but that
doesn't deny the fact that it was probably one of the biggest flops slash
disappointments in gaming history like it was that bad and then only a few
years later fallout 76 Oh Bethesda why did you do this
alright well to those of you that don't know me and my gaming preferences
Fallout New Vegas is my favorite game of all time it has a special place in my
heart it is a game that honestly it's more I enjoyed that game more than I
enjoyed minecraft I for real I literally like that game was the best it's my
number one and I figured that the licensing company Bethesda when they
released fallout 4 they would have something that's just as insane just as
amazing was super hyped and fallout 4 was kind of meh
it wasn't bad but wasn't really good either it was kind of like fallout 3 but
worse except like sure it had a shiny coat of paint on it but it was like I
don't know I felt dead you know I just I don't know something about it didn't
feel like there was much soul to it but I still had hope and then they said they
were going to release a multiplayer Fallout named fallout 76 now I've been
quoted as saying in videos that I'm suspicious that it might
be a bad game because fallout is a single-player experience and making a
multiplayer might spoil it unless it's in a modded environment and I was right
when it released the idea of multiplayer fallout a lot of things just fall apart
for one thing that's isn't even slow-mo anymore it's real time
you can't slow down time to shoot enemies you just basically get temporary
aimbot that's actually really bad because you only get a certain
percentage to hit something there were literally no talking NPCs other than
robots the game had like only a few enemy types one of which what's called
the scorched and it was the most boring and uninspired enemy type that was I've
ever seen in any friggin RPG game not to mention that they
completely screwed up the storyline I'll fall out like the Brotherhood of Steel
weren't even supposed to exist yet at that point yet they were in the game I
they ruined the lore of the universe oh and not to mention the fact that they
said there would be zero microtransactions in a $60 game which by
the way is like a hundred and ten with like DLC content like like The Ultimate
editions or whatever and then there was all this controversy with like about
getting a duffel bag with the game and apparently it was like really really
cheap material that's like plastic like what a tent would be made out of where
they said it was gonna be some really expensive like vinyl or leather or
something like that I'm freaking now but the point I'm trying to make again is
that games can get overhyped SuperDuper easily and even Beth as does not immune
to it now they're actually starting to just over and over again prove that they
don't care about the community anymore but let's bring this to hightailin
hypixel what makes them any different I mean my channel has uploaded over 30
videos talking about what could be slashed should be in hightail and it's
so SuperDuper height it's got like 35 million views on the trailer and what
makes it immune to disappointment on launch day from all of this hype well
first off I think they're trying their best to keep hype down but the problem
is their attempts are making the hype even greater there
holding back information from us intentionally they don't want to drop
too much information on us at once but them doing that is actually producing
even more hype which is uncontrollable at this point I don't think they have
control over the hype of their fan base it is literally something that I bet the
devs for hightail would rather that there be less hype right now because
they don't want people to get disappointed I'm not saying that the
games gonna be worse than expected but I'm saying that we've reached a point
now where people think that literally whatever they want will be in the game
there's a reason why a lot of my videos are called ideas or suggestions or
theorizing I don't know 100 percent of these things are in the game but I'm
suggesting it to the developers I'm trying my best to give ideas to the devs
before release such that they can create something that lives up to the hype and
are they gonna be able to do that I don't know because that is there's an
unrealistic amount of hype centered around this game all I hope right is
that people don't get disappointed on launch day because even if the game
doesn't live up to hype on day one which I predict it will not live up to the
hype that has been generated because again it's not even the fault of the
game at that point it's just unfair amounts of hype like it is unrealistic
like people are super excited to this game they're thinking that this is going
to be like their universe for a long long time which I'm not saying it won't
be but still what I think is that if the game doesn't live up to the hype day one
it will live up to the hype in the long term because of its mod ability if
somebody wants a feature in the game they can make it themself and that's
just like what happened with Minecraft right you can make your own stories you
can make your own custom maps you can make your own mods you can make your own
creations set goals for yourself create games inside the game and that makes it
extremely malleable all I hope is that the base experience is as close to the
hypes portrayal of it as possible I really don't want this game to be over
which is why I am NOT saying these things are gonna be in the game like
with all my suggestion videos there are things that could be and if they're not
that's okay cuz they could be modded in I mean even though most of my
suggestions are themed around the idea of making modding better so I don't know
so what makes hightail different from other sandbox and moddable games like
Garry's Mod well Garry's Mod even though you could technically make whatever you
want in it the game is not well optimized at all it is made like the
engine was made like a decade and a half ago and it is SuperDuper old to zero
hype around it and even if you were able to create any game you want in that
engine it's just it's like the source engine you know it's you can't do a heck
of a lot with it in a seamless way it might act like any game you want but
it's always gonna look like a half-life copy and it's just gonna perform slowly
it's gonna take forever to load everything whereas in hi tell if the
performance is good you can do whatever you want and the only limitation is that
it's gonna be a cubed slash voxel based game that is it you could otherwise I
think what they're aiming for with these modding tools is that you can make it
into any game you want and that's why I think in the long term the game will
live up to hype but in the short term I think high tail risks being a
disappointment for some not for all definitely not for me because I have
realistic standards for what this game is going to be I know for a fact that's
going to at least be better than minecraft so that's where my
expectations are set right now I think some people are often space right now
they literally think that this game is going to be their life and I to them I
would say I just hold up there buddy the game's gonna be good but be careful you
don't want to disappoint yourself that's it for this video guys it was a pretty
short one because I don't know it's a simple question with a simple answer for
one example of making any game you want in hightail I would like to show you
guys block shot it's a little passion project of mine that I started a few
weeks ago and with the help of some awesome people from the in
we are constructing a large development team we are going to create the hightail

How To Create Your Own Spidersona by SpiderDan - Duration: 3:59.
Hello there! Today, I'm gonna teach you how to create your own Spidersona. Let's go!
I am here at this year's Pilipino Komiks and Art Market or Komiket, where artists and fans
collide in a frezy of fan and original arts in different forms and mediums.
I am in fact here to sell my Build your Own Spidersona sticker set.
But before we get into that, lets first answer the question:
What is a Spidersona?
A Spidersona or Spider Persona is a form of fan art wherein you get
to design your own Spider-Man or Woman. Now, imagine if Marvel gave you the opportunity
to create your own official version of Spider-Man or Spider-Woman. How would you
design him or her? That's a Spidersona. Although Spidersonas started to trend at around
November December 2018, most likely latching on the hype of the Into the
Spider-Verse film, the earliest online post I found using the hashtag #Spidersona
was actually from 2014. 2014, as we know, was the year Spider-Verse comic
was published. But I have a way older Spidersona to show you. This is
Super SpiderMan. A Spider-Man with kryptonian powers, created in 1991 by a
guy named... me. Yup. I created a Spidersona when I was 9 years old. And this is
my video so you cant debate me!
Of course I'm kidding, but this is actually driving a point... any kind or
form or portrayal of a spider-type hero, as long as it has a passing
resemblance to Spidey, can be a Spidersona. Lets get into the details. I have
here a typical, classic John Romita Spider-Man. It has all of the design
elements that we associated with Spider-Man. Then came other Marvel-published
Spider-Men and Women, many of them also appeared in 2014's Spider-Verse comic.
We are now witnessing the early seeds of what is to become the Spidersona
phenomenon: tweak a color here, on a web element there, change a hair color,
a gender, a race, but still retain what is required of a Spider-type hero and it
should still look... amazing! Lets see what other artists did with their Spidersonas.
Look how varied the possibilities are, almost as if there are
no rules! I was so undecided with what my Spidersona
would look like, so... I came up with this abomination: Spidersona-Man:
A Spidersona made up of all the Spidersonas ever created or ever will be!
All he needs to do to summon them is to go to THE WEB (WINK)
use the #Spidersona (Hashtag Spidersona!!!) and they will come.
Yes its stupid. Or awesome, according to this one guy! Which brings me back to my
komiket display. Too tired of drawing your own Spidersona? then I'm giving you pre-drawn
options so you dont have to lift a pencil! Presenting: the Build Your Own

and masks to finally create your own Spidersona!
