Python tutorial 11: Python String Methods - endswith ( ) by Manish Sharma - Duration: 7:08.
What's up Internet!
I am Manish from rebellionrider.com and I am back once again with another awesome Python
Tutorial.
Today's tutorial is going to be about another string method of Python language which is
'endswith'.
Now that we have learnt how to check if a string starts with a specified sub string
or not in the last tutorial, it's time to move on and learn how to find out if a string
ends with a specified string or not.
But before that, please do not leave without pressing that thumbs up button if you like
the video.
Also, this year I am aiming for 1 lakh subscribers so please subscribe to the channel if you
haven't already.
Now let's start.
After starts-with the second string method in the list of python programming is 'endswith'.
As the name suggests, using this function we can determine if a string is ending with
a specified sub-string or not.
Let's take a quick look at the syntax of this string method 'EndsWith'.
endswith ('sub-string', startIDX, endIDX) The syntax is pretty much the same as the
previous string function 'startswith'.
The method ends-with also accepts three parameters.
Let's take a look at those.
Sub-string – The first parameter is the sub-string.
This is the string that will be searched in the main string.
This is the only mandatory parameter in the list.
startIDX – The second parameter is the start index.
Here you have to specify an integer value which will indicate the index number from
where the interpreter will start the search of the sub-string.
This is an optional parameter, which means if you want you can skip it.
In case you do not mention the start index then interpreter will start the search from
the index 0 which is the default value.
endIDX – The third parameter is the end index.
Similar to start index, here also you have to mention an integer value.
This value will specify the index number on which the interpreter should stop the search.
Once again, this is an optional parameter.
In case you do not mention any value here then the interpreter will keep searching until
the main string ends.
That's all about the syntax now let's do some examples and learn how this string
method endswith works in Python.
Similar to the last python tutorial.
Here also, I will do three examples, demonstrating each of the three parameters of the function,
which we just discussed.
In the last tutorial, we used the command prompt for the demonstration but today our
choice of editor will be Atom.
So let's start.
Step 1: We need a string.
In order to perform a search we will need a string.
This will work as a base string onto which the string method 'ends with' will perform
the search.
So for today our base string will be – "With RebellionRider.com, I will be the
master of Python in No Time" Here we have the base string.
Next, we will search if this string or a part of it ends with a sub-string or not.
To do that we will use the 'endswith' string method of Python.
Example 1: In the first example we will see if this string ends with the word Time or
not.
my_str = "With RebellionRider.com, I will be the master of Python in No Time"
Here I created a variable "my_str" and saved our base string into it.
Next using this variable we will call the string method ends with.
Let's see how.
my_str.endswith('Time') Here I first wrote the name of the variable
which is holding the base string on to which we want to perform the search.
Followed by that I have a dot operator (.) and then the name of our method endswith.
As you can see, here we have supplied only one parameter to this method which is the
search string.
On execution the interpreter will start searching the entire string and see if it ends with
the specified search string which in our case is 'Time'.
If the base string ends with the search string then it will return true otherwise it will
return false.
Let's execute and see the result.
So the program executes without any error but where is the result then?
Unlike command line interface where the function call directly shows the result, in editor
like ATOM we need to take help of print function to display the result back to the user.
To do that we have two ways.
In the first one we can create another variable and store the result produced by the function
call into it.
Then using print function we can display the value stored into that variable.
The second way is that we can directly place the function call into the print function.
That way we don't have to declare an extra variable.
I guess the second one will be much nicer.
Let's go with that.
print(my_str.endswith('Time')) Now if we execute the code, we will see the
output.
Here we go.
The output is true.
Now let's do the next example.
Let's say I don't want the interpreter to start the search from the beginning of
the string, rather I want it to start the search from index number 39.
That way we can save time and resources.
So what do I have to do for that?
In order to start the search from a specific index we need to mention the index number
as the second parameter of the endswith function call.
Like this.
my_str.endswith('Time',39) Simply, right after the search string put
a comma and then write the index number from where you want the interpreter to start the
search.
In my case it's 39.
Let's modify this function call a little bit more.
Let's say this time I want the search to start from index 39 and end at index 55.
Also, instead of Time, let's see if the string ends with the word 'Python' or
not.
my_str.endswith('Python',39, 55) In this function call we have used all the
three parameters.
Let's execute and see the result.
The result is true.
So, that's how we use ends with string method in Python.
Hope you enjoyed watching.
Please hit the thumbs up button and like the video, and subscribe to the channel if you
haven't already.
That is it for today.
Thanks for watching this is Manish from RebellionRider.com

Germany: Police take on illegal street racing | DW Stories - Duration: 4:04.
It's 8 p.m. on Saturday.
Officers Rainer Fuchs and Alexander Schwarzer are starting their shift.
Their beat is Cologne's so-called party mile, chasing down speeders - mostly young men with
fast cars who race through the city.
Many street races start like this: "Waiting at a traffic light they'll look at
each other and say: Hey, check it out - you're low, big and broad.
But I'm even lower and bigger and have way more under the hood.
So let's go!"
After just 10 minutes, they spot something.
"That one there" "The Audi."
"Slow down a bit.
Otherwise you'll give yourself away."
"As you heard just now he was revving his car pretty loudly."
"Let's pull him over."
The driver, a young man, fits the street racer profile, most of whom are male between 18
and 27.
Street racers tune their cars.
Often without permits.
And many of the changes are illegal.
What's been changed?
"What it says on the registration."
"What does it say?"
There are a number of ways to tune a car: engine, suspension, exhaust.
The police inspect the car on site.
They know what to look for.
"You're allowed 73 according to vehicle registration, but you're at 80 with this.
That's too much."
"Fact is, his exhaust has been tinkered with.
The operating license is expired.
And the car's performance has been enhanced, which has been registered, but the inspection
authority should have another look."
The car gets confiscated for the weekend.
On Monday, it will go to inspection for a technical review.
There will likely be a fine or a warning, but that hardly scares off most racers.
"It's about showing off, to improve their standing - their social status."
"They probably think that they're great drivers.
But unfortunately they're often not.
Which is also why we keep seeing these terrible accidents."
One fatal incident happened on Cologne's Auenweg.
An illegal race resulted in one of the drivers losing control of the car and slamming into
a cyclist.
She died of her injuries.
The victim was 19 years old.
The driver was convicted of involuntary manslaughter.
"In the wake of the accident we learned just how much street racing has spread into the
city, and how dangerous it is."
Cologne's street racing taskforce was set up in 2015.
Come 11 p.m., it's primetime for them.
More alcohol, and more testosterone means more racers coming their way.
And here's another suspect.
"Another modified car.
You can see the upgraded exhaust, different doors.
The car's moving pretty quickly."
What really stands out though are the struts.
But the driver refuses to hand over his keys.
"You can either follow orders by choice or by force.
Then they'll be another car here, and another - and we'll take your car in the end, believe
me.
I need you car keys, please."
"No, you're not getting them."
"Then we'll tow the car."
The taskforce says any car that's been tuned beyond what's allowed is a potential racer
and danger to others.
Which is why night after night, the officers' search continues.

Reika / Itsuki Akira & Uramaru Interview @ 12company - Duration: 21:35.
Welcome Around Akiba!
Please introduce yourselves!
Hey there! I am Reika, a Japanese cosplayer.
I am Itsuki Akira. I am working as a cosplayer in Japan.
My name is Uramaru. I am also a cosplayer.
What kind of company is 12company? Why did you found it?
Our company, 12company. All of us were cosplaying alone for a long time...
We thought that if we come together we can create even more amazing things!
When working together we might discover new possibilities and tackle even bigger projects.
For that reason we started our company "12company".
What is the vision and future goals of 12company?
Right now we are focusing on the Japanese market.
Once we gained enough support we definitely want to connect with people around the world
and create even bigger projects together with them.
That is the kind of company we are building.
Itsuki Akira, how did you and Reika first met?
As I remember the first time we met was in Korea.
Of course I knew about Reika before that.
But that was the first time we talked to each other
As we were both invited as guests to the same event
we had many opportunities to get along with each other
and we bacame friends.
Uramaru, why did you choose to join 12 company?
Before I joined I only did cosplay as a hoppy.
One day at the Comic Market I got scouted by them.
After I listened to them I came to think...
If you do everything by yourself possibilities are limited.
If you join an agency on the other hand you can do much greater things
which make your followers even more happy.
That is why I joined them.
What does a cosplayer need to be successful around the world?
First of all you have to love cosplay!
You shouldn't do it because you want to be more popular.
Somebody you see and think "Damn, that person is a real Otaku and likes that game".
Somebody you can become friends with.
To feel that the person really loves a certain anime or game title as well as cosplaying.
I think that is most important.
What do you need in Japan to succeed as a cosplayer?
I think it is the same as what Reika just said.
Loving a certain title and cosplay
is what brings people together.
The stronger that feeling the more attractive you become as a cosplayer.
It will also improve the quality of your work.
Isn't it fun to do what you love?
I think the feeling of "fun" is something people understand when seeing it.
Therefore, I also think that loving cosplay is most important.
Uramaru, how would you describe your typical fan?
What kind of person...
I have fans of all sorts of age groups.
I have 10 year old fans as well as much older ones.
In a nutshell I'd say that they are all very friendly!
I receive a lot of support and feedback from them on Twitter.
They also send me long letters after events.
I can really feel their love towards me.
What doeas it take to join 12company as a cosplayer?
Let me see...
After all, I think the most important quality you need to have is the power of expressing yourself.
Somebody who stands out in a crowd of cosplayers and people cheer for.
Somebody who you can feel put a lot of love into her cosplay.
The power of getting peoples attention by doing so.
This goes for people who have this talent from the beginning as well as cosplayers who improve over time.
Our hearts would also get captured by such a person.
This is an ability which needs to be polished.
I'd say this goes for all cosplayers.
To express yourself and get peoples attention.
That is the most important.
Somebody positive who is working hard and always trying their best to reach their high-set goals.
Men as well as women can join, right?
That is correct. Men, women as well as crossplayers like myself can join.
What does the 12 in 12company stand for?
It holds the meaning of expressing yourself in different ways. Just like a set of twelve different colors.
What was your most favorite cosplay so far?
Difficult question. Of course, I love all the characters I cosplayed to an equal amount.
I love Otome-games... and if I had to choose one character, I'd choose Uta No Prince Sama's Jinguji Ren.
I like my Monster Hunter Kirin armour cosplay.
I think it just turned out as I wished for.
Therefore I like it especially.
The first cosplay I ever did was Rem from Re:Zero.
It is quite a recent anime.
I love it so much because it was the first cosplay I ever did.
What is your favorite anime and why?
PSYCHO-PASS!
When I saw it my mind was blown away.
Finally, something as great as that became an anime.
The content is quite shocking and hard-core.
At the same time it might really become like this in the future.
They really did a great job expressing this with an anime.
I like the anime called Hyouka the very most.
I wasn't able to cosplay it because I love it so much.
Picturing the characters and me cosplaying them... It just wouldn't work.
I don't want to destroy me loving the anime.
The animation and story are so brilliant!
There was a preexisting very mysterious novel to the anime.
I just think that through the sound in the anime it has an even deeper expression.
I really want you to watch Hyouka as the anime.
The first time I got in touch with anime was through Clannad.
I love it so much!
I was so moved by it.
friendship, love, family... So many emotions are involved into it.
I also can't cosplay it for the reason that I love it too much.
I simple love Clannad!
How many days of the year are you cosplaying?
Let me think...
When cosplaying on weekends...
That would be 8 times a month.
Times 12.
I think a bit less than 100 days a year.
Between 50 and 100 days I'd say.
It really depends on how many events there are within a certain month.
Not 100 days but definitely more than 50.
Wow, you spend between 15-30 percent of your life cosplaying. Amazing!
Of our lives. That sounds like much.
Which are your favorite, most recommended events?
Of course there are a lot!
I live in Osaka and therefore I was always attracted by events in Tokyo.
Like "I wanna go to the Tokyo Game Show but it is so far away..."
So I was even more happy when actually visiting it.
The event I recommend you most in Japan is
the Comic Market!
The Winter or Summer one?
I think both maybe...
There is a Summer and Winter Comiket. If you are ok with extreme heat both should be alright.
There are so many visitors
and the temperature is extremely high.
Some people even collapse.
I recommend the Winter Comiket if you visit it for the first time.
It is the biggest event in Japan with many cosplayers!
A lot of Doujinshi and their illustrators.
Yes, many Doujinshi!
There are also many corporate booths.
If you are an Otaku I really want to have you visit Comiket!
I'd also say Comiket.
It is the biggest event and there is not just cosplay but also anime and game content.
An event any Otaku can enjoy!
You will also definitely be surprised how many people visit the event.
As an Otaku you have to visit it at least once.
Any advice for people who just started cosplaying?
As I pointed out earlier. The ability to express yourself is very important
But first of all, have fun!
It's alright to not care too much about the quality first.
Our first cosplay were also so bad we wouldn't want to take a look at it.
Still, it was so much fun!
Because it was fun we continued and the quality improved over time.
I want you to first of all have fun doing cosplay.
Having fun makes you want to continue doing it.
What else...
Qualities vary from person to person.
It is alright to strive for it or not.
If it is no fun at all you wouldn't wanna continue.
I am pretty sure that if you have fun the quality will go up even by itself.
So first, have fun!
I think that loving the anime titles you cosplay is also one of the most important things.
Thank you very much!
What is the most challenging thing when making your own costumes?
I love making clothing.
Finding the right materials for the cosplay you want to do is very hard.
I travel the whole world just to find the right cloth.
For example, if it is a historical anime
I would look for material from that age rather than using polyester.
Of course it is challenging putting those together into a cosplay...
but personally I think the most about the materials.
Maybe it is just me because I love making the cosplays so much.
I didn't have any experience from a school on how to make clothing.
So for me cutting the cloth is the most difficult part.
Reika: If you make one mistake there is no going back!
Once cut you can't undo it.
Also, cosplay clothing sometimes have a weird shape.
There is no real life example beforehand.
To create a guideline in your head for the endresult of the cosplay.
That is very challenging for me!
The next question is for Itsuki Akira and Uramaru.
You just started the Akimaru YouTube channel, right? What kind of content are you planning to produce?
Yes, we just started our Akimaru channel!
Of course, we are also going to feature cosplaying content on it...
However we would love to create content not just for our current fans but for anybody to enjoy.
So that people see that cosplayers can have a variety of qualities.
We would love to expand our horizon and try many different things.
We would also love to take this chance to improve our still poor talking skills!
In a nutshell, we want to not only entertain our fans but create content which anyone can enjoy!
Most cosplayers post pictures on Twitter or somewhere else on the internet.
Unfortunately there are only few opportunities to speak. For example at events.
Therefore videos are a great way for us to talk and give people an insight of our personalities.
I saw that you are planning to move to Tokyo from Osaka.
You lived in Osaka your whole life, right?
What would you say are the pro and cons about either Tokyo and Osaka?
Is there anything good about Tokyo!?
Itsuki Akira: What do you mean!?
I think people in Osaka love Osaka more than Tokyo. In fact. We think that Osaka is the best place on earth!
Let's see...
The people are friendly, funny and the food is cheaper too!
Of course, the food in Tokyo is also very good, but also quite expansive.
In Osaka on the other hand you will find cheap or run-down places that are as delicious!
Well, I guess I like that you are in the big city but have those rural counterparts co-existing.
The image I have of Tokyo is there is too many people on the trains...
The good thing about Tokyo...
Well, that would be the sheer number of Anime events held in the city!
Most of the events are definitely held in Tokyo.
This is probably what can make you feel envious a bit.
Do you have any game recommendations?
It's not a game I've been playing recently.
It's also not a game I'm really good at.
But I've been basically growing up playing Mario Party!
Back then I was still playing on the Nintedo 64.
On it I was playing Mario Party 2 day till night.
Now there's a lot of sequels to the series on different hard wares.
It's possible to play with even more people so please try it out!
Overseas the series is already quite famous I guess haha.
But I really recommend everybody to test out Mario Party 2!
MP 2!!!
Reika: You can get it used. Itsuki Akira: Yeah, right! Try it~
Looking at your Twitter I found you have cats back home.
You really love cats right?
Do you have cats at your new place too?
If you were to get a new cat, what type would be next?
Yeah I really love cats! I have cats back home but not at my new place yet.
But I am really considering right now as living alone is quite lonely
And sometimes I need some soothing.
If I were to get a new cat, it'd be a Scottish Fold, the type with folded ears!
It really is adorable~
Another option would be a Munchkin, the type with short legs.
Yeah, it would be one of these two!
But when it comes to cats I'd go for any that is cute~
Cats and them being cute is a natural thing! So I want to have them all!
Wow your love for cats is strong!
Anything you want to share with our viewers?
Well 12 Company ist still a really young company.
But I'd be thrilled if i was able to share with you the new possibilities for Cosplayers!
Please keep supporting us~
I really hope that we at 12 Company can make Cosplay even more fun!
It'd be great if we could spread how amazing Cosplay is all around the globe!
Thanks for tuning in~
I still have much to learn when it comes to Cosplay.
Tha's why I want to furhter improve not only as a Cosplayer,
but also increase my knowledge in different fields to become a better person!
Looking forward to your continued support!

Yagao XCMG XR220 Rotary Drilling Rig by Cranes Etc TV - Duration: 6:44.
In this review it's time to go large and by that we mean it's time to look at
something in a larger scale, and this model is 1:35. As you might expect it
is therefore a model of a Chinese machine and this one is the XCMG XR220
rotary drilling rig. It is modeled by XCMG's preferred supplier, and that is
Yagao Gift. The model comes in the usual pair of expanded polystyrene trays
but this one had a little bit of a rough journey so the first thing we need to do
is clean it up and what can be better than that, than to use a vacuum cleaner.
After that fantastic piece of innovation we just need to undo the ribbon that
keeps the model together and there is also a piece of securing tape on the cab door.
For the assembly we'll first configure the model as far as possible in a
transport mode. The top of the leader can be folded to reduce its length and you
can then pin it in a folded position. The leader head can also be lowered to
reduce headroom and the bottom of the leader can also be split to reduce the
overall length. So initially there's some good functionality to produce a
transport mode, but sadly you can't go the whole way because the rotary table
and Kelly bar is not removable. Let's now assemble the model in a
working configuration, and the first nice bit of functionality is that the crawler
tracks can be extended for width. Then we can get on and reverse the things that
we've already done so we'll attach back the bottom piece of the leader and it
clips into place, and then we can unpin and open up the top of the leader.
Once you completely swing it around it clips into place
and then we close up the hydraulic ram to set the head in position. So now we're
ready to put the machine into the drilling position and because the
hydraulic rams are very stiff it's a bit tricky to do but at least it means the
leader is not flapping about everywhere on loose cylinders. To get the leader into
the vertical position we carefully ease it up.
Starting underneath the machine
and there is some detailing on the underside of the body although the
undercarriage is rather simpler. The model does have metal tracks and they
are nicely formed, and there is also detailing on the track frames. Moving on to the
cab it has got plastic guards at the top and at the front, and there are also
lights. The door has got a nicely formed handle and there are also some tiny graphics.
The body has got some detailing in the casting and there are highlighted panel
handles. Moving to the back and there are more sharp graphics on the counterweight,
and on the other side the access ladder is soft plastic and there's a nice bank
of hydraulic hoses and also some more small graphics. Viewed from above there
are various textures on top and the two winch drums have rope on although only
one is usable. Continuing on, the hydraulics detailing is good on this
model and that includes both hoses and pipe work, and at the business end the
drilling bucket is metal. It's also got nicely formed cutting teeth. The rotary
drill is nicely detailed and it's mostly in metal, and moving to the top of the
leader there's some nice detailing. The running track of the leader is plastic
although the rest is metal and looking at the top of the kelly bar it suggests
it's telescopic although it isn't telescopic at the top, and there are
also nice metal pulleys although sadly you can't configure the model with an
auxiliary winch, and probably out of the box the rope should be running on the
right hand pulley not the left hand one.
The track frame is tensioned by spring-loaded idlers but there are no
rollers, but the tracks are nicely made and they do roll easily. It's time to
turn around so let's rotate the body and that works smoothly without any rocking.
Only one winch works and it's tricky to operate, but after some practice you can
get it to work although on the review model it wasn't really keen to hold any
load. This is a drilling machine so as you will expect you can rotate the kelly
bar and you can also manually raise and lower the rotary table. One interesting
aspect is that the kelly bar is partially telescopic so it's not quite
like the real machine, but at least you can extend it if you want to. However,
there is some nice functionality on the drilling bucket.
The cutting heads are on a rotating plate also the whole bottom flap is hinged.
Although some would say that Cranes Etc is unhinged it's nice to see that on the
model the cab door is hinged and if you open it it lets you see some good
detailing inside. The engineering of the cab door is good
and when it's closed it's got a nice flush fit. So 1:35 scale is quite
big so let's see how high the model stands, and it's over 22 inches or 57
centimetres.
This is a nice big model of an XCMG machine by Yagao. There's some
nice detailing and there's also some nice functionality although a few
changes would have made it a really nice model. As it is, it is an
impressive-looking foundation machine so if you like this kind of thing it is a
good model.

Separated by 'the Narrows' we finally make it to Llangollen (on our NARROWboat) - Duration: 8:25.
Good morning and today we are embarking on our longest cruise ever. Along the Llangollen canal.
It's about 15 minutes. Maybe 30.
We want to show you the narrows where I get off and walk to check that there's no boat
coming. We'll also show you where the trip boat
leaves from and also the Llangollen Basin.
That's a clue as to where we are going today.
The sign we are approaching warns us about the Narrows.
And suggests that we moor up and go and check.
Or if you have multiple crew members- send one on.
So we had this system for the last Narrows and it worked really well. I go up
ahead and I get to walk and it's beautiful like it's absolutely stunning
and Kath does the Narrows. She doesn't want to swap but she's not incredibly happy
about doing the Narrows. Because there are some really windy bits. But she's
doing a super good job I did offer there'd be a lot more screaming involved
if I was doing this I think we both know that!
There's two options you have when you're coming to visit the end of the
Llangollen canal at the town called Llangollen-
you can more to visit a mooring like what we've been doing which is just past
a swing bridge and it's free and you can stay there for a while in winter two
weeks. Or you can come down to the basin itself if you come down to the basin
you've got some linear mooring and what that means is you can actually more up
on the canal and it has a little electricity post and a water outlet you
get charged six pounds a day and you're allowed to stay for 48 hours. Or you can
do option two which is moor up in the basin itself and the basin has several
pontoons finger pontoons it has electricity it has water and it also has
a little bit more privacy we think for the cats it's a little bit safer so
we've been moored up quite close to an a road just down on this side which is
also where the linear moorings are and the cats are going a little bit crazy so
we're going to opt to moor in the basin for 48 hours and it should be absolutely
beautiful and then we're going to take a walk to the Horseshoe Falls which is
where you get a lot of this current from that flows all the way down the Llangollen
canal into the Shropshire Union canal.
(music)
Say these carriages they might be the horse-drawn carriages they have no
engine but I have like little links to link them together like a train and
maybe they have their another boat that pulls them along.
Be gorgeous in summer if we actually really beautiful today but I guess the
windows get really wet. Just up ahead there
the canal continues but we can't can't go that way because there's a no entry sign but the
basin is just on the starboard side.
I hope theres a spot.
(music)
Alice
Oh they've been shut in for so long.
Hello.
That's our neighbour. Duck. Quack quack.
Thanks for coming on the journey with us
we're safely moored up and we have loved every minute of this narrow boat
experience. Thanks so much for watching and commenting and of course as always
for liking and subscribing.

O….kay… further questions have been raised...
So, let's see…
This subject was… 'Videogame Reviews' before…
Now it's listed as 'Digital Media Analysis'.
And this was.. Uhhh…'Meetups'
And has been changed to…
(groan) What kind of prudish prank is this?
'Solicitations and Miscellaneous Fraternizing"?
So… we've got someone, or a group of someones
who doesn't seem to like pop culture very much.
In fact, from what I can see here,
just about anything that refers to either mainstream or even internet culture
is treated as condescendingly as possible.
Hmm. Okay, so, they renamed all the subjects that they disagree with.
They replied to… this guy…
who was asking about how to trick a woman into sleeping with him….
Saying, 'people like you are the reason why women carry pepper spray'.
Huh. They seem to have left the science boards mostly intact?
In fact, just about the only thing they did here was….
Commenting in this one neuroscience thread.
"Close, but no cigar. Some recommended reading."
With a whole bunch of links to essays about neuroscience?
Hang on a sec...
As I combed through the list of linked essays, there was a distinct trend.
Not only were the majority of the emphasized essays and research papers clearly written by the same person
- despite multiple names ascribed to each paper-
but the ones that weren't were referenced in the one author's body of work.
Well! Someone thinks highly of themselves.
The multiple names made me doubt my gut feeling that it was all the same person,
but only for about a minute.
I compared the writing styles.
I could have still been wrong, but my intuition is rarely wrong.
I compiled the names used, and then checked over the papers again.
Aha! Random capitalization in an otherwise perfectly typed essay?
I compared the capitalized letters with the names on each paper,
and sure enough, the letters corresponded with the names--
but not directly.
Each name was pulled from the capitalized letters of the paper that came before it chronologically.
But… why?
Why go to all the trouble of masking your identity by publishing under multiple pseudonyms,
only to leave a direct trail connecting all of them?
This HAD to be a taunt of some kind, a challenge.
Thinking of it that way, the entire forum hack began to make more sense.
A person with a background in neuroscience, judging by all the papers they wrote on the subject.
My heart thudded with realization; could this be the connection I was looking for?
I went back over the other comment threads, which were exploding with confusion in the wake of the hack.
Many of the posts had words suddenly highlighted as links,
and following the links lead to informational or educational web pages.
Wait a second….
The words chosen for being linked! There was a pattern!
I began compiling the words together, to try and make sense of what I was looking at.
For a long time, it felt like I was staring too closely at one of those depth perception illusion images
and if I was just able to pull back enough, I'd be able to see enough of the picture to make something out.
Hours passed.
I had drawn many potential connections between words,
and all of them had trailed off, failures.
Whoever had done this, they were EXCEEDINGLY intelligent;
the code seemed impossible to crack.
But, again, something in the back of my mind insisted there was a pattern.
Finally, things clicked into place, one by one.
This word was a stand in for another word, and if THAT word meant this, then…
and so on.
There was finally order in chaos.
The words were a code, with each word representing either a letter or a number, and put together were an address for…
a youtube video?
I loaded up youtube, and entered the URL-
the moment of truth.
Had I cracked the code?
'Greetings and Felicitations, Free-Thinker and Wisdom Seeker.'
'It would appear you've finally... cracked the code'
'I'll admit, I had my doubts anybody would MAKE it as far as you have,
that like so many BEFORE you, you'd... fail to meet my expectations.'
'Suffice it to say, you have my undivided- albeit pre-recorded- attention.'
'And given all the trouble you must have gone through in order to make it this far,
I've the distinct impression the feeling is mutual.'
'BUT you didn't come all this way just to have your ego stroked.'
'At... least I...certainly HOPE not...'
'So for the sake of brevity, I'll get straight to the point.'
'WHY... am I doing this?'
'I'm willing to wager that at one point or another, you've heard the phrase, "Knowledge is Power"?'
'Or perhaps... "The Pen is Mighter than the Sword?"'
It was a very impassioned manifesto written by a man whose goals were simultaneously cynical and idealistic.
There was a lot of anger in his words, but also…
the glimmer of hope.
I found myself nodding by the end.
'I'M here to remind you to
F@!#ING
THINK!!'
'And...'
'As much as I am loathe to admit it...'
'I realized that...'
'I an incapable of launching any sort of societal paradigm shift on my own.'
'...At least one of the magnitude NEEDED to make any sort of... significant difference.'
"That's where.... YOU... come in.'
"Whoever you are and whatever series of events lead you to becoming the person I'm addressing NOW...'
'I need your help. Because...'
'It can't just be the two of us, right?'
'TWO out of approximately EIGHT BILLION and counting?'
'With odds like that, there have to be OTHERS out there, willing and able to piece together the bigger picture of what's really going on.'
'You've seen first-hand what it is I do, and...'
'Now you understand why I do it.'
'This channel and the contents therein will fill you in on the rest.'
'The fact that you're hearing me right now?'
'Proves to me that you're qualified to take up the mantle of The Logician...'
'..and fight alongside me.'
'Because people like US...'
'We're the only hope that's left for mankind.'
'We've come this far....'
'There's no going back for either of us.'
I could see it.
The tiny, silver thread that I'd been hunting for this entire time all of a sudden flickered into view.
A man with a passion for neurology, who thought outside of convention
and was unlikely to repeat the script that so many others had repeated.
A man who wanted to change the world, just as I did.
One of the benefits of being an online presence is the sort of connections you make.
Anything that I cannot do myself, I can rely on an acquaintance or two to fill in for me.
I was determined to find out where this man was,
So I got a friend of mine to work their magic and track down where this guy was uploading his videos from-
specifically, his IP address.
Loreley: Wait a minute. Are you sure this is correct?
Mysterious Internet Friend: I guarantee it. Accurate 100%.
Loreley: Huh.
Well, thank you. I'll let you know what's up once I know more.
Mysterious Internet Friend: You better! You've got me curious now!
Loreley: (chuckles) Definitely.
So… this is interesting.
This is… my IP Address.
It's… MY IP Address….!!
....is this...hope?

(PRANK) I KNEW YOU WERE BACKSTABBING ME - Duration: 6:07.
I'm suddenly feeling nervous.
Is this for real?
Why not?
Is this the fist time I'm gonna have serious talks with you?
What do you think am I gonna say?
That you have a girlfriend?
Maybe this is not really something of a big deal.
Why? Are you nervous?
No. I'm not.
How am I gonna say this?
I just wanna confirm
Someone told me...
Don't react right away.
Just calm down. Don't get offended.
Just consider this as...
I just wanna know if it's true.
Just calm down.
Try to understand the situation.
Someone told me that...
Now, I'm hesitating to say it.
Someone told me that you were backstabbing me.
I knew this since last year.
Backstabbing?
Yeah. You were backstabbing me.
No way.
I trust the person who told me.
What kind of backstabbing?
Like you were saying bad things about me without me knowing.
- Of course I wouldn't believe... - What exactly did I say?
Of course I wouldn't believe this without confirming it to you.
No. What exactly were the words??
How do I say it...
It was so bad.
I can't really remember anymore.
Maybe when I sometimes impersonate you for fun.
But it's obviously just a joke.
If I have anything to say I'd say it to you right away.
I have a screenshot.
Show me.
Is this a prank?
here's the screenshot.
Why would I say sorry?
I can't believe them.
I will not say sorry because I've never done this.
I would confront you right away.
You can't prank me.
I failed.
I'm recording by the way.
For real???
Good thing...
I wouldn't even dare to backstab you.
To me, you are a very respectable person.
I can't even do this to someone who I know is backstabbing me.
I don't think I have the guts to upload it if ever.

DIY GARLIC FOOD FOR MARINE ICH AND WHITE SPOTS HINDI /URDU - Duration: 7:24.
its 3rd day of ich treatment
and today i will be adding more copper medecine
and no.2 i will feed them garlic food
which garlic food can be used
there are 2 ways
buy a ready mate branded garlic food or
which can be quite expensive
2nd way is to make it by your self
to make it you have to buy garlic
its called Lehsan in urdu and THOM in punjabi
so
so lets go to the super market
to buy some garlic
music
bike starts
picking up garlic
so guys im here at 814 store
and i bought garlic here
so lets go back
so i grind the garlic
lets take it out
to subtract its juice
im puting the garlic in filter bag
if you dont have a filter bag
you can use some piece of cloth which is used to filter food
or use any other thing to filter
so you can squeez juice out of this garlic
squeezing
lots of juice coming out
the juice we got
im putting this in this container to store in fridge
lets begin to make garlic feed
put some garlic juice on feed
take small amount of feed
only the amount you are going to use right now
the garlic juice we squeezed
tiny amount
just dorp or 2 drops
and
some marine flakes
you can also apply it on brine shrimp and sea weed
lets pour the juice
and mix it a little bit
music + fish eating food
you can see that fish are looking very happy
they are compiting for food
even cardinals are eating very well
lets feed some to nano tank
you might not see clearly but
fish went crazy for garlic food
so i thought why not give some
garlic food to goldfish also
lets make some for gold fish
for gold fish im using thsi P.S.D feed
and
ok
pour some juice on it
oh i got too much
ok
very tiny amount
putted in thhe tank
they are already belly full as they got feed in the moring also
they still came to eat
it has same benefits for fresh water also
and saltwater as well
at the end of the day ,, why we give garlic food to the fish
is it good for ich treatment
yes its good and helpful and
and its beneficial for fish but
its not a medecine
garlic is not medicine for fish
its just like feeding apples or other fruits to
a sick person so that
he can get strenght to fight with the sickness nad disease
same like that we feed garlic to fish so that
it helps to boost his immune system
and fish will get strength to fight with the disease
garlic doesnt directly cure ich
but it makes the fish healther and stronger
to fight with ich
if you wanna see how i set up hospital tank
just go to the i card to watch the video
that will take you to that video
and watch whats the proper way to cure ich
i have discribed in that video\
if you also love marine tanks like i do
quickly subscribe to my channel and press bell icon
and dont miss any video
peace out
