scratching whispering and laughing asking questions weird questions

personal ones they won't stop they won't stop he glanced to me for

reassurance to which I rolled my eyes this wasn't his first bout of paranoia

there is nothing outside making those noises I assured him I've never been so

sure of anything in my entire life Ted wasn't too pleased with this he

could still hear them he even started answering them

I couldn't reason with the man he just sat and stared out of the window for

hours looking for his mysterious little interviewers there weren't any voices

this difference in opinion made things very difficult things became tense scary

even I knew it was only a matter of time before he would rise from a seat and

threatened to open the door to meet his new friends and when he did I couldn't

stop him I was impervious I've been telling

people this ever since so I let him he flung the door open and just went went

to join the voices I never saw him again but I made sure I would honor him a nice

little service nothing that would make too much of his last manic few days we'd

worked together on the project for a long time I got straight in touch with

the funeral directors a few days after I returned home to earth I've not worked

for NASA since

Cop Sends Skateboarder Flying (VIDEO) - Duration: 11:20.

SKATEBOARDERS GOT TOGETHER FOR AN INFORMAL COMPETITION

RECENTLY, AND THIS TOOK PLACE AT DOLORES PARK.

AT THAT POINT, COPS ALLEGE THAT PEOPLE LIVING IN THE

NEIGHBORHOOD CALLED THE POLICE, BECAUSE THEY WERE BLOCKING

THE STREET, MAKING A LOT OF NOISE AND BEING DISRUPTIVE.

AT THAT POINT, SEVERAL POLICE OFFICIALS SHOWED UP, AND

THINGS STARTED TO GET VERY BAD.

AT THIS POINT, THERE WERE REPORTS THAT SOME OF THE

SKATEBOARDERS WERE ANNOYED THAT THE COPS WERE BLOCKING OFF THE

STREET, AND NOT ALLOWING THEM TO COMPETE WITH ONE ANOTHER.

THE SKATEBOARDERS DID NOT HAVE A PERMIT FOR THIS

COMPETITION, THUS MAKING IT INFORMAL.

AND NOW THERE ARE VIDEOS CIRCULATING AROUND THE INTERNET

SHOWING HOW ONE SKATEBOARDER WAS GOING DOWN A HILL, AND HOW A COP

MIGHT HAVE INTENTIONALLY, PURPOSEFULLY GOT IN THE WAY SO

THAT HE WOULD FALL AND HURT HIMSELF.

I'M GOING TO LET YOU GUYS JUDGE FOR YOURSELVES, WE HAVE THE

VIDEO, TAKE A LOOK.

ONE PART OF THE STORY, I THINK IS, IT'S TOO MUCH SAY OBVIOUS,

SO THERE ARE TWO PARTS.

THE KIDS ARE TRYING TO WRITE THROUGH THESE COP CARS THAT

HAVE BLOCKED THE STREET.

3 SKATEBOARDERS HAVE ALREADY GONE THROUGH THE WHOLE BETWEEN

THE CARS, EVERYBODY IS HAVING FUN AND THEY ARE ALL TRYING TO

DEFY GOD BY GOING THROUGH THEIR, SO THE COP TRIES TO GET IN

THE MIDDLE OF THAT, AND IN THAT VIDEO YOU CAN SEE HE THROWS

A SHOULDER.

THAT'S MY ASSESSMENT, WE WILL SEE WHAT YOU GUYS THINK.

DON'T THROW A SHOULDER ADVOCATE, BECAUSE SHE COULD HAVE

GOTTEN REALLY HURT.

HE WAS PRETTY HURT.

THAT PART WAS PRETTY OBVIOUS, BUT THE PART TO ME THAT IS A

LITTLE BIT MORE SUSPECT, AND THEN SOME OF YOU GUYS ARE GOING

TO HATE ME FOR THIS, BUT, THEY WERE DOING HILL BOMBING, SO THEY

GO DOWN THE HUGE HILLS IN SAN FRANCISCO AS FAST AS THEY CAN,

AND A LOT OF THEM CRASHED OF COURSE, AND YOU HAVE TO CALL

AMBULANCES, AND THAT HAPPENED ñ THAT HAVEN'T ACTUALLY REPEATEDLY

WHEN THIS WAS GOING DOWN.

THEY CALL AND AMULETS THAT KID, BUT THEY CALLED AN ENTRANCE

FOR A COUPLE OTHER KIDS, BECAUSE THEY GO ALL DOWNHILL AND

THEY CRASH, AND NOW THEY'RE GOING TO THE TAXPAYER

DOLLARS TO BAIL THEM OUT BECAUSE THEY ARE SO STUPID THAT

THEY WENT DOWN THE HILL AT THIS SPEED AND MADE A MESS OF IT.

LOOK, AM I THE KIND OF GUY WHO WANTS TO OVER REGULATE

SKATEBOARDERS?

NO, I DON'T HAVE AN ISSUE WITH THAT, SKATEBOARDERS ARE GOING TO

GET PERMITS, I'M NOT TRYING TO BE TOO MUCH OF A GRANDFATHER.

BUT SOMETIMES SKATEBOARDERS ARE TOTAL DECKS.

THEY COME ABOUT YOUR CAR AND THEY LOOK AT YOU AND LAUGH,

UNTIL SOMEONE RUNS YOU OVER.

AND THEN WHAT DO THEY DO?

THEY GO FROM LAUGHING TOO, I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU DID THAT!

YOU KNOW WHAT REALLY GRINDS MY GEARS?

THOSE SKATEBOARDERS AND THOSE CYCLISTS.

DROP IT.

IT'S IN A POLL THAT WE HAVE TOO, SHOULD THE SKATEBOARDERS

HAVE BEEN FIRED?

BECAUSE IT'S NOT A QUESTION OF, SHOULD THE COP HAVE

SHOULDERED HIM?

OF COURSE NOT.

SHOULD THEY GET A PERMIT?

I CANNOT HAVE YOU GET A PERMIT EVERY TIME YOU WANT TO GO

SKATEBOARDING.

BUT THE NEIGHBOR SAID, WE CANNOT USE THE STREET, THEY KEEP

GOING UP AND DOWN THE STREET, WE ARE AFRAID THAT WE ARE

GOING TO HIT THEM, AND SO, AND THEY ARE GOING FOR HOURS

AND HOURS AND HOURS, CAN YOU GUYS HELP US?

SO THE COPS COME, THEY DIDN'T ARREST ANYBODY ñ

AND I'M NOT SAYING PUT THEM IN JAIL, THAT'S CRAZY.

BUT I WOULD FINE THEM.

LOOK, I WISH I KNEW ñ LOOK, IF WHAT THE NEIGHBORS WERE

SAYING IS TRUE, BECAUSE KEEP IN MIND THE COPS ARE SAYING

THE NEIGHBORS CALLED THEM, AND THAT'S WHY THEY SHOWED UP.

IF WHAT THE NEIGHBORS ARE SAYING IS TRUE, AND WHAT THE COPS

ARE SAYING IS TRUE, THEN YES I AGREE WITH YOU THEY SHOULD

BE FINED, BECAUSE YOU CAN'T BLOCK ROADS LIKE THAT JUST

FOR FUN AND GAMES.

Unfortunately, people in pain and suffering

are very vulnerable.

They have no real ability to get up and fight.

So this is a very, very one-sided war.

The suffering, it is almost totally unnecessary.

We have the means.

It is not a question of resources.

The means are inexpensive.

Now, when the means are there,

and you allow people to go through that pain,

it is real torture.

I heard the man from Human Rights Watch say that

when you torture somebody for political reasons,

the victim can sign a confession and escape.

Here, they don't even have that option.

You just let them continue to suffer, and that's torture.

I don't think there is any justification for that,

but it is torture.
