Waching daily Jul 25 2017

Chester Bennington, famous as the lead vocalist of Linkin Park,

was found dead in his home on the morning of July 20th, 2017.

His suicide came only a few months after Chris Cornell,

who Bennington was close friends with, also committed suicide.

Had Cornell survived, July 20th would have been his 53rd birthday.

On the day of Cornell's death, Bennington wrote to him saying

"I can't imagine a world without you in it".

Bennington was 41.

It seems like every week we're hearing about the death of another beloved pop culture icon.

So I was unphased by Chester Bennington's death at first.

But... as the day came to a close,

I started thinking about how Linkin Park's music was intertwined in my adolescence,

as well as modern anime fandom,

and Bennington's lyrics were instrumental in shaping that.

Linkin Park was a key influence on music in the early 2000s,

as rock transitioned from grunge to nu metal.

They weren't the first band in the nu metal genre,

but they certainly helped pave the way for its wider popularity.

In a genre filled with bands like Korn, Slipknot, and Limp Bizkit,

they stood out by avoiding explicit lyrics entirely for their first two studio albums.

I have a lot of vivid memories of Linkin Park.

I can still remember listening to "Hybrid Theory" for the first time during my senior year of high school,

and being immediately enamoured by them.

I remember seeing the band perform live at the Spring 2001 HFStival in Washington D.C.

I remember nearly wearing out a cassette

with "Hybrid Theory" recorded on one side

as I commuted between two community college campuses

during my second year of college.

I remember having my alarm clock set to play "Breaking the Habit"

every morning, for at least one semester of college.

And I remember blaring "In Pieces" entirely too loud in my car

as I sped out of the city to the suburbs of Baltimore to make videos with friends,

in order to get away from the stress of a toxic work environment.

High school, through college, and even into my early professional years,

Linkin Park and Bennington's lyrics ran in and out of my life.

And then there is anime fandom.

If you're unfamiliar with anime music videos,

suffice to say that there are a lot of Linkin Park AMVs.

During the early to mid-2000s,

the anime music video landscape was absolutely littered with videos

set to every last song they released.

In particular, "In the End" was seemingly set to everything imaginable,

sometimes to the ire of fans everywhere.

It was pervasive in a way that extended beyond the overkill of radio play

and cable request shows.

Ultimately, it was clear indication that the music resonated strongly with the influx of millennial anime fans

that were responsible for the anime boom of the early 2000s.

The angst of Linkin Park's music

had broad appeal with these anime fans who,

I think, like me, just didn't fit in socially at the time.

We congregated at anime conventions,

which also proliferated in the early 2000s,

and where AMV competitions were celebrated as a main attraction.

Like many shows popular at the time,

Evangelion had its fair share of Linkin Park AMVs.

I myself even experimented with making an Evangelion AMV with Linkin Park.

I feel like its pervasive use is actually an unfortunate thing.

Linkin Park was in many ways the lowest common denominator,

and I feel like when that happens,

it can make it difficult for outstanding works to stand out.

However, one video in particular remains a personal favorite of mine to this day.

At Otakon 2004, a video set to Linkin Park's "Numb"

won the serious/dramatic category at the Otakon AMV contest.

As the last track from Linkin Park's second studio album,

"Numb" closed the album with their characteristic intensity.

The AMV, entitled "Faithless", by Daniel Hopkins, aka "HurQlez"

explores the parent-child relationship between Shinji and Gendo,

and between Asuka and Kyoko.

It's a simple video, free of flashy effects,

but skillfully explores its theme through thoughtful clip selection,

and confident editing to its musical choice.

Even after all these years,

"Faithless" still holds up, and remains one of my favorite AMVs,

and a key intersection between two aspects of my life.

It may be strange, but this is how I will remember Chester Bennington,

and how he inadvertently contributed to Evangelion and the broader anime fandom.

Do you have a favorite Linkin Park AMV? Let me know in the comments.

I can't recommend "Faithless" enough, so be sure to check it out.

If you enjoyed this video, please be sure to subscribe before you go,

and as always, thanks for watching, and take care.

What's the story behind her youngest son's birth? [We Like Zines! / 2017.07.25] - Duration: 15:42.

Let's talk about Choo Miae as a woman.

How long have you been married?

I got married in 1986.

For 31 years.

- You went to the same school? / - Yes.

How long did you two date?

- 7 years. / - 7 years!

Did you passionately love each other?

Why would you ask that?

In this heat.

I'm sorry. It is quite hot.

Then did you have a cool relationship?

I'd think you were quite popular in college.

I was.

It may sound idiotic, but I had boys follow me home.

It may sound idiotic, but I had boys follow me home.

- And follow me to school. / - On the way to school?

Once I got off the bus, someone followed me.

They weren't stalkers, were they?

There were many boys.

How did you end up with your husband?

We were in the same class.

There were 40 students in total.

Out of 40, three of us were girls.

3 girls out of 40 students.

During breaks, I realized that he would

talk to the other two girls, but not me.

(That's...)

True players do that.

I would be busy preparing for the next class,

and he was busy talking to the other two girls.

Whenever I would look, he was looking elsewhere.

(What is up with this man?)

- Were you angry? / - No, I wasn't.

I felt it.

I felt that he was interested in me,

but was acting nonchalant.

I had many reasons to think that.

Many reasons.

Since he pretended to be busy with other girls,

I left little room for him to approach me.

- To make him come to me. / - Approach you easily.

I heard that when you were proposed to join

politics, your husband helped out a lot. Is that so?

He eagerly gave me advice on which direction

the society must be headed.

He isn't a kind man as a husband.

He wasn't thinking as a husband to

comfort his wife.

He was contemplating on how to sacrifice

his wife for the country.

I know what you mean.

Your in-laws must be displeased with your work.

Of course.

Because I was too busy to look after my family.

Did your husband persuade them to support you?

He told me later that he said this to his mom,

"Don't worry, mom. It's my turn next."

So she immediately agreed.

So you were a working mom.

It must've been hard to work and be a mom.

I actually didn't tell anyone that I was pregnant

until I was in the last month of my pregnancy.

When you were a judge?

No one knew.

You didn't want to burden them?

Work was work.

I decided that I would take care of my own work.

I didn't want to slack off.

So I didn't tell anyone about it.

My colleagues didn't know and kept smoking.

Sure. Because you didn't tell them.

Didn't you join them on business dinners?

I always went with them.

They just thought I gained a little weight.

That must've been hard.

So your youngest son learned to say

"lawmaker" instead of "mommy?"

After I gave birth to my son

I asked my in-laws and my mom to care for him.

He never got to know his mom.

When he did,

I was on TV as a lawmaker.

Neighbors told him, "Your mom is a lawmaker."

That's why instead of saying "mommy,"

he learned to say "lawmaker" first.

Your children must've been disappointed.

I was known to them as a busy mother.

After I won the election,

I was asked to appear on a TV program.

They wanted to film me being in the kitchen, too.

So upon the production staff's request,

my mother-in-law prepared a pot of stew,

and I turned on the heat to pretend I cooked it.

You practiced.

Kids are the eyes of the world.

My 4-year-old son never forgot that moment.

Mom pretended to cook something she didn't.

That's mom. She puts on a show.

That's a fabrication.

My mom doesn't cook, but she appeared on TV

like she does thanks to grandma.

(I'm sorry, son)

Your staff members said that they hear the sound of

doing the dishes when they're on the phone with you.

Do you actually do the dishes often?

I do. Don't you?

- Me? / - Yes.

I sometimes do.

I do at times.

Do you do housework?

I wouldn't call it housework.

I have to wash the dishes after I eat.

You're the head of the party. No one comes to do it?

You're the head of the party.

(That's absurd)

I see.

Isn't it hard to prepare breakfast for your children?

I just prepare soup and some vegetables.

I go to work first and they eat on their own.

Do you have a pet?

- Yes. / - You do?

How old is he?

19 years old.

His birthday was on June 11.

That's the longest living dog.

I think so.

Terry is 19 years old. (Age: 19)

He is over 100 years old in human age.

What's your dog's name?

Terry.

Does Terry...

Does he know that you're the head of the party?

Does he know?

He always knew.

He knows?

He knows that I'm the head of the family.

Right. Right.

Dogs have ranks, too.

He probably knows that I'm no. 1 out here, too.

You're ranked 7th in the country.

He knows you as someone ranked first.

I have eight dogs at home.

I helped my dogs give birth, too.

I feel like a farmer every morning.

It's like I'm breeding cows.

They poop all over the house.

My daily routine begins with cleaning after them.

Is Terry potty-trained?

No. He has dementia now.

I learn about life through him.

Terry.

Don't be sick.

We all love you. Don't be sick.

Can we interview your daughter

over the phone to see if you really cook

and do the dishes at home?

I'm sure she'll ignore my call.

She'll probably ask why I'm calling.

How many times do you talk on the phone with her?

We normally exchange messages.

Right.

We end up texting instead of calling each other.

She answered my call.

Yes?

Wait. There's someone I want you to talk to.

Who?

I can't tell you.

I'm in the middle of a shoot. Hold on.

- Hello? / - Hello?

Hello. I'm Lee Gyungkyu.

- Hello. / - Hello.

(She's happy as well)

I've met you before.

What? Me?

- Yes. / - Where?

At a Lee Gyungkyu rice roll store.

I got an autograph from you when I was young.

I didn't harass you, did I?

No. You were enjoying your food.

I see. I'd like to ask you some questions.

About your mother.

Your mom said she thoroughly prepares...

Not thoroughly. I do a rough job.

She says she prepares breakfast for you.

Is that true?

I normally don't like to eat breakfast.

Wow.

She always tells us to eat breakfast.

I see.

Mom at home and mom as a politician.

In your opinion, are they different?

She's a mom at home.

She's no different from any other moms.

That's right.

But when I see her on TV as a politician

she's scary.

(Full of charisma)

She's scary.

- She's quite harsh. / - I see.

I think people would misunderstand her.

Your mom has many nicknames.

What nickname would you

give her as her daughter?

For my mom?

A woman by nature?

No, a woman from heaven.

(I'm the no. 1 woman)

Could you tell the viewers

that your mother is not cold,

but actually a soft-hearted woman?

She's a warm-hearted person when she isn't angry.

Everybody is warm-hearted when they're not angry.

She is more warm-hearted. She's tenderhearted.

Just because she gets angry on TV

it doesn't mean she's cold-blooded.

(Good job!)

She's not cold-blooded. I see.

Do you respect your mother?

Of course.

She endures things that

I don't think I could've done.

She's the strongest person in the world.

That's what I think of her.

Please say good-bye to her.

Good luck with your work. See you later.

Good luck with your interview.

- Thank you. / - Good-bye.

Right here.

I should add in your new nickname.

A woman by nature.

People are interested in your future plans.

There will be another election next year.

There will be a gubernatorial election.

Will you be running for the mayor of Seoul?

How about being the first female chairperson?

I'm not really interested in that.

Why not?

I'm not really interested in being in the spotlight.

I would like to make the Minjoo Party to be smart.

I also want to place democracy in Korea that

is capable and open to public.

In order to do so, everyone must cooperate without

personal greed. As the head of the party,

I shouldn't put my personal greed first.

This is what I'm most disappointed about.

When the Sewol Ferry incident occurred,

the Blue House claimed that they didn't get

any information. That's why there was a controversy

over face-to-face report and written reports.

That's not the important part.

The Blue House should've already had a system

to be notified of any disasters that occur in Korea.

That system was made during the Roh Administration.

But it was gone in the next administration.

There was a system in the bunker of the Blue House

which notifies all the armed forces

once there is a national disaster.

But it wasn't fully developed and was gone

once the new president was placed.

These things must be continued.

It is my goal to make these things happen

while I'm the head of the party.

You want to build a strong foundation.

Leadership is quite important now.

As the leader of the ruling party

what would you like to tell the people?

(Bow)

This administration was made by all of you.

I believe that the wisest people in crisis

were the people of Korea.

I will lead the party well and support

the current administration

in order to make a government which

could be well-evaluated by the people.

Let's check the illustration now.

Did you get an idea of what to illustrate?

(What editorial cartoon did he draw?)

I'm drawn in a fan.

Wind could be soft or strong.

I wanted to illustrate my hope to see politics

that could blow away all evils like fine dust

that are embedded deeply in the society.

We hope see politics like clear wind.

It's much better than that sword.

(Satisfied)

All right.

She looks more beautiful in person.

I'd like to see that in the illustration.

How do you feel?

Thanks for saying that for me.

All right.

Instead of an abstract illustration please make

her look as beautiful as she does in person.

We must now take photos for the book.

Should we stand awkwardly?

You can lock arms with me.

(Becoming closer)

(Cheese)

Do you hold up no. 2?

(Oh!)

(What a predicament)

Like this?

(Finger hearts are the trend these days)

(An honest and open encounter with Choo Miae)

We Are Earth Bound Misfits Learning to Fly - Duration: 8:38.

We Are Earth-Bound Misfits Learning to Fly

By Open

Yes, levitation is possible. What it requires is mastery of the illusion of physicality,

by penetrating the unity consciousness of the soul, into every cell of apparent separation

of the body. Thats a tall order one might reasonably consider! But theres masses

to be gained even by venturing down the path in that general direction. What were talking

about is transcendence you feel into the density of the body, normalising with it so

as not to judge it as something solid and separate. Then you can attune to the light

flowing into it, which turns the volume up on your interconnected experience. Progressively

all manner of miracles and magic take off

Embracing true Transcendence

Transcendence is not about trying to leave the body, and true spirituality is not about

distancing oneself from the density of the physical. For subconsciously, this just creates

an acknowledgement that theres something youre trying to distance yourself from.

This in turn creates polarity you become that subtle identity in some kind of avoidance,

which defeats the object of becoming The One by being as-One with everything that shows

up.

In the Openhand Work, well often guide people into increasing sense of density, by

using yoga type movement (soulmotion) to push into the edge of the inner comfort zone where

things start to get tight, challenging and even painful. At this point, if youre attentive,

youll start to witness that part of separated self that slips into judgment: I cannot

deal with this discomfort, I want to be beyond it, I want it to go away. Who is the I

here? Obviously small I identity because The One in you can tolerate anything, and

its possible for your soul to expand out of everything.

Rather than avoiding such feelings and situations, theres enormous opportunity and potential

for growth in them. By feeling deep into them and going right to the core of the feeling,

you have a chance to normalise with them. Which means you stop judging it as a

bad experienceIts just an experience that feels like this. When you stop judging,

the mind relaxes, which allows the subtle vibrations of unity consciousness of the

soul to flood in. Since the soul is connected to the all-that-is, then you connect

up to the unlimited potential of The One.

Just look at what The One has created throughout the known universe. So, in effect, you become

a channel of this unlimited potential 7 Ways to Manifest Greater Resources and Possibility

in the Great 5D Shift

The Conditioning goes much deeper than Thought Im not saying this is easy! We are held

in place in this reality by our belief our conditioning in it. And this conditioning

runs deep zillions of fixed neural pathways that have developed since birth, telling us:

Yes you are physical, yes you have limitation, and no, you definitely cannot fly!

This conditioning goes much deeper than your thoughts. So for example, it doesnt work

just to think you can fly (and by fly here I mean flying through life, interconnected

with divine manifestation). You have to have penetrated into many layers of inner density

including the zillions of neural pathways that are conditioned to lock you into the

separation they are there, and have to be worked through.

I find it helps to realise that the body is mostly space if you take all the space

from between the sub atomic particles out, then there wouldnt be enough matter to

fit on a pin head. And even that is not solid, its vibrating strings of interconnected

energy The more you penetrate this illusion, with meditation for example, the more you

start to slip beyond the sense of solidity, and more into the subtle feelings of flow.

When you consider that all matter is like this, then you start to get that at a really

deep level, physicality can be influenced and changed.

Whats the practical application of this?

Manifesting New Vehicles of Expression Overcoming the Physical

To give an example, Ive recently moved overseas to the Canary Islands. Ive needed

a car to get around. But within divine manifestation, as an interconnected part of the universe,

it is never just about buying a car (or a house or clothes or anything else material).

These become expressions of your soul the material manifestation of you. So the soul

is requiring something by which to express itself, and so if the soul is allowed to flow

through, it will manifest what is genuinely required note this has nothing to do with

intentional manifestation, which eventually breaks down. Its about allowing to come

through, what is meant to come through.

Currently I know my soul is working into deep layers of the physical, which I can feel progressively

during my morning meditations. And so out in the afternoons, just free-wheeling and

following the pull, my attention would be drawn to a particular type of vehicle, that

was an expression of the energy buried in that particular layer. But knowing that the

particular vehicle didnt feel a fully aligned expression of me, Id let the manifestation

go, but then work deeper into and through those layers in the subsequent days meditations.

Now the vehicles that my attention would be spiked to, changed shape, colour and specification.

Its important to say, this is NOT about trying to manifest. Its about working to

allow full soul infusion, as a divine expression of The One, then witnessing the external effect.

BUT, we are in the physical for a reason, and so we can expect we require manifestation

to happen.

When Id just about reached what I thought were the final physical layers, the flow took

me out onto the island, on a circuitous path, connecting with the vibe of the place, asking

for the resources of rightness to appear, then reading signs and synchronicity. Half

way round, the landing of higher knowing said Id get an Opel for Open. But where

to find one? The key is simply to hold the question, not needing the immediate answer

its not about finding, but instead following the flow.

It was nearing the end of the day and I was feeling to go home, having not found what

I knew to be the right expression of me, and my heart was a touch weighted with disappointment,

which I immediately recognised to work with and unwind out of. Right then, a little pull

directed my attention to a tucked away industrial estate, which Id not seen before. I was

feeling pretty shattered by now, but I felt to overcome that, and to transcend the feeling

by going right through it.

Then, what should appear at the very end of the last road on the industrial estate, what

should I find, but a small Opel garage! And in it, they were selling a used car, with

the perfect configuration for me and the perfect numbering in the registration plate every

number and letter spoke into my lifes situation. Better still, the model was called an Opel

Ovrecame. Id overcome the physical layers I was working into, and thereby divinely manifested

by unleashing soul as a flow through life. I felt blessed by the miraculous.

An Earth Bound Misfit, Learning to Fly On the way back, with my iPod on shuffle,

this song came on by Pink Floyd, all about learning to fly, which I felt to share with

you.

Yes, fly we can. But first you have to Overcome the physical, by transcending it

A soul in tension thats learning to fly

Condition grounded but determined to try Cant keep my eyes from the circling skies

Tongue-tied and twisted just an earth-bound misfit, I

OPERATION HIGH JUMP RICHARD BYRD'S SECRET RESEARCH BASE LITTLE AMERICA AND ITS COVER UP - Duration: 4:25.

OPERATION HIGH JUMP RICHARD BYRD'S SECRET RESEARCH BASE LITTLE AMERICA AND ITS COVER-UP

Operation Highjump.

During this secretive mission, grand admiral Richard Byrd led a team of military personnel

in an Antarctic expedition at the south poles.

The government also hired Richard Cruzen as part of the task force to help Admiral Byrd

training personnel at the research base on Antarctica (Little America IV).

OPERATION HIGHJUMP: THE SECRET MISSION TO ANTARCTICA Operation High Jump was basically

a top secret mission to invade the Antarctic.

The fleet of ships consisted of 3 Naval battle groups.

The ships departed at Norfolk in December 1946.

The command ship was the ice-breaker Northwind.

The catapult ship Pine Island, the destroyer Brownsen, the aircraft-carrier Phillipines

Sea, the US submarine Sennet, two support vessels Yankee and Merrick,

and two tankers Canisted and Capacan, the destroyer Henderson and a floatplane

ship Currituck. were also part of the mission.

But there was more than just sending troops to the cold polar regions.

The question this raises is why, remote, cold, harsh, south polar Antarctica?

Why was this decision so fast?

What was hidden in Antarctica?

ENTRANCE TO HOLLOW EARTH?

So what is Operation High Jump?

Wikipedia states that it is an operation organized by Byrd and Cruzen in 1946 and 1947.

It involved 4,700 men, 13 ships, and aircraft.

The mission was to create a research base called Little America IV in Antarctica.

Some of the projects researched were testing equipment in the cold, scientific conditions

of the area, and how easy it was to establish this base.

All of this was very secretive.

These missions even uncovered a secret land with warm spots and warm water in Antarctic

proving that the Earth could be hollow.

This could mean there is life down below.

WORLD WAR II, SECRET NAZI RESEARCH BASES AND THE UFO CONNECTION AT THE FROZEN CONTINENT

This article brings to light some questions that I have.

Is there a correlation between the experiments down in 1946 and 1947 and World War II?

Why so close to World War II?

If this is just military research on cold atmospheres, why so secretive?

Why keep it away from the public?

Why does the scientific community not believe in the theory?

Is it because they have scientific proof that the earth is not hollow?

Why will the government not release this information?

What is really hidden in Antarctica?

Is it green, little, aliens in flying saucers in the polar region or other UFO-like objects

which could fly unimaginable maneuvers at incredible speed?

Or was USN commanding Richard Byrds Antarctic expedition about exploring the secret entry

to Hollow Earth in the south Atlantic?

IS THE HOLLOW EARTH THEORY REAL?

Is the Hollow Earth Theory real?

It is real, and the US government is behind this.

This theory alleges that the earth is actually hollow or has enough room to stuff a football

field inside of it.

The scientific community does not believe in this theory.

Take a look at fiction, adventure fictions, movies, etc.

And it is full of this concept.

This idea had a start in the Greek underworld myths and fiction, leading to the concept

of an afterlife.

Even the Tibetan Buddhists believe this same idea!

The city, Shamballa, was found inside

this earth.

Joey Graceffa What's In My Mouth Challenge With Lucie Fink | YouTube Challenges | Refinery29 - Duration: 7:16.

Hey, guys!

It's Lucie Fink and I'm sitting here with Joey Graceffa!

Hello there!

Yay!

Welcome to our YouTube channel.

Thank you.

Quick question for you before we get started.

I posted on my Instagram account that I was meeting you and I asked my fans if they had

any questions for you. —Uh huh.

And somebody wanted me to ask you this and was really adamant so I'm going to ask you.

Okay.

How on earth do you get your hair to be so magical?

Maybe he's born with it?

Maybe it's hair product.

We'll never know.

No I don't really wash it with shampoo that often,

so it gives it a little bit of grit

and texture.

And it also keeps your hair healthier if you don't overwash.

Can I touch it?

Yeah, of course.

I'm going in.

Oh my god it's so soft.

Careful, you might get caught in there.

But today's challenge is not about your hair.

No it is not.

It's about your mouth.

We're playing the What's In Your Mouth challenge.

So I got us both blindfolds.

Okay cool.

And we're going to switch off.

I think I'm going blindfold you first.

Okay.

I have a bag filled with eight items and I'm going to put them in your mouth one by one.

And we'll see if you can guess what's in your mouth.

—You might get lucky with some items. —Okay, okay.

Others, not so much.

Uh oh.

Let's get started.

Here.

Don't worry these are clean.

Open wide.

Okay.

Remember: no hands.

Oh!

Those are headphones.

Yup, I've chewed on those many of times in my life.

That was easy.

They just brushed the edge of his lips.

—I know that texture. —And he got it.

Okay.

Maybe this will trick you.

Okay.

Oh my god.

Oh my god.

Spider legs.

No.

I'll turn them this way.

What are those called?

It's okay you can chew it.

Is it spaghetti?

Yes.

Oh, I love dry spaghetti.

Dry spaghetti.

Would you like another stick?

Nah.

To gnaw on?

I'm on a diet.

It's okay.

Alright he got two for two so far.

This one might satisfy your hunger craving.

Oh I'm full after that little bite of pasta.

No more please.

Oh my god.

Sugar cube!

Yes!

Mmmhmm.

You don't need to eat that all.

We got you a spit bucket right here.

Alright here is the next one.

Oh!

Soft!

Open wide.

A makeup brush!

Woohoo!

Woo!

You're doing a great job.

I think I'll give you this tasty one next.

Oh tasty!

I don't know if that was a trick or a truth.

We'll find out.

Just maybe give me your tongue for this one.

Mmmm.

I love lemon.

Oh!

Oh that was good!

Alright you're too good at this.

Last one!

Alright, it's not paper.

Dang it.

You're going to need to tilt your head back a little.

Tilt back, I got you.

Mmmm.

Pop Rocks!

Pop Rocks!

I did a bath full of Pop Rocks.

It was intense.

Did it pop all over your body?

Yeah.

Like in water?

Mmhmm.

Oh!

I need to try that.

Yeah.

That seems like a soothing spa experience.

No.

It was actually a little painful actually.

Well Joey, you did it.

They're still popping.

Look at this.

You've guessed all of the items.

I'm in awe.

Now it's my turn.

Oh my!

And I can only hope to be as good as you were.

Mmkay.

Good luck.

Enjoy!

Open up!

I actually don't know what this is.

Is it mayo or mustard?

I think it might be.

I'm evil.

I gave you like a big spoonful.

It's like mayo. Whatever.

—Okay, we'll go easy. —It's mayo.

Can I have a vomit bucket please?

I'm still tasting the mayo.

Here let's get that mayo taste out of your mouth.

Okay.

Oh something's being shaken.

Yes.

Okay.

Oops!

What was it?

I need more.

Okay let's try this again.

Oh there we go.

Oh it's smoking out of your mouth.

What could it be?

Whipped cream.

You got it.

Is it a little better than the mayo?

A lot.

Okay let's see what else we have in here.

That is tasty!

Oh this is yummy!

What is it?

Here you go.

Ew.

How's it taste?

It's bacon.

Bacon?

Close.

It's not bacon.

—You want more? —No.

You need a whole one in your mouth?

Do you want me to crunch it up for you?

No.

It is a dog treat.

Yes!

Oh this one would be good.

Let me just…

Okay open up.

Oh!

It starts off sweet and then goes sour real quick.

It's a Warhead.

Actually it goes sour then sweet.

Careful!

You're going to burn your tongue, girl.

You guessed it!

She's enjoying it.

Oh!

—Oops! I missed. —I haven't seen one of these since 1992.

So it's old and it's rotted.

So enjoy the rottation.

It's old and it's rotted?

Is that what you just said?

Oh!

I know what it is.

Give me—

There you go.

Mmhmm.

—Baby Bottle Pop! Baby Bottle Pop! —Yeah!

You just lick the pop, dip it and shake it.

So this has been discontinued for ten years, so this is expired.

Okay.

Are you sure they don't sell them on the black market?

You know what? They might.

They probably still sell them.

They're really good.

Okay we have one more to go.

They rolled right over my tongue.

Alright lift your mouth back.

Open.

So much candy, Joey!

I know I'm trying to get it all in there.

Mmhmm sour belts.

Yes!

I know a sour belt when I see one.

I started with the worst ones and I ended with the best.

Oh I can't see a thing.

Ew!

This is what the dog treats look like.

Look at it.

It's a cute little heart though,

so that makes it yummy.

Is that jelly?

That's bacon probably.

—Yup, it's bacon. —Bacon jelly.

Well Joey, we did it.

That was fun.

That was so fun and I actually got a lot of good candy.

But I also got the mayo, which is kind of disturbing.

Yeah.

You did a great job, Joey!

Thank you! You too.

So alright, thanks for joining us!

Yes.

We'll see you next time!

Meet Choo Miae, the representative of Korea's ruling party! [We Like Zines! / 2017.07.25] - Duration: 13:19.

(One hot day in July)

Hello. I'm Lee Gyeonggyu.

I've met three candidates of the presidential election.

I interviewed the three of them.

A book about them will be published soon.

You can look forward to it.

This time, I am planning to write a book

on the leaders that I interview.

(The first leader that Lee Gyeonggyu will met)

(The National Assembly with Korean leaders)

(So busy)

(The office is quite far)

(Who is today's leader?)

Welcome.

You've traveled far.

(Head of the Minjoo Party: Choo Miae)

(10.23.1958 / Born in Daegu)

(Childhood dream: Movie star)

(Resembles Chae Sira)

(Passed the bar exam in 1982)

(She has come to launder old politics)

(Choo of Arc)

(Korea's first female head of the ruling party)

I bow to you as the head of the Minjoo Party.

(From being Miae Boss to a kingmaker!)

(The central axis of all media: Choo Miae)

Let's get going now.

(Reporters follow wherever she goes)

(The center of the National Assembly)

(I'm the main star tonight)

(It's the perfect weather for an interview)

(Everything is prepared)

(Confident)

(Choo Miae is on her way)

Hello. Nice to meet you.

Nice to meet you. (Welcome to We Like Zines!)

I'm pleased to meet you for the first time.

Is it really the first time?

I think so.

I've seen you quite often.

Thank you.

(Professional arm holder)

(Lee Gyeonggyu brought sunflowers for her)

You brought these for me?

Sunflowers.

(A good example of an amicable meeting)

Not at all. They tell me to step down.

Really? (Honest lawmaker Choo Miae)

They keep asking me to apologize.

("Meeting the leaders of Korea" - Choo Miae)

He's the illustrator of our program.

He illustrates the editorial cartoon "Jangdori."

(Artist Park Sunchan)

Nice to meet you.

I've enjoyed your cartoons.

What do you usually think of Choo Miae?

I think this is the image that people have of you.

(Choo of Arc)

Are you content with this image?

I can't say I am.

(Embarrassed)

This is just an image of you.

That's how you were portrayed in the media.

I apologize if I seemed this way to you.

I met you for the first time today.

That brooch is sparkling.

Is it expensive?

It cost me $5.

Would you like to give it to your wife?

No, no.

I just asked because it's pretty.

Before we get started,

let me briefly introduce who you are.

Your name means "beautiful love." Right?

Right.

How many siblings do you have?

I'm second of two girls and two boys.

I have two younger brothers.

When I was born, my aunt came

to comfort my mother.

You had a girl again.

Throw her in the well.

Instead of congratulating my mother.

It was quite common back then, right?

Despite that...

I'm quite brave.

Like that illustration.

(Born to be Choo of Arc)

You many titles of being the first.

You were Korea's first judge-turned politician of

the opposition party.

You were a lawmaker of your district five times.

You're the first head of the Minjoo Party from Daegu.

Korea's first female head of the ruling party.

You have the most titles of being the first.

That's not all. This is quite important.

You are currently the 7th in the national protocol.

(Jaw-dropping)

Seventh.

How is it now? You were in the opposition party.

You're the ruling party now.

Don't people listen to you more now?

Because you're the ruling party?

Not at all.

They tell me to step down.

Really?

Choo Miae should step down

from the head of the Minjoo party

and retire from politics.

The fabrication case by the People's Party.

The prosecutors arrested Lee Yumi, a member of

the People's Party for fabricating evidence of

President Moon's son getting a job with special favors.

The People's Party stated that this case was solely

done by Lee Yumi and lawmaker Ahn Cheolsoo

did not know about her act.

Choo Miae stated that no one believes that it was

done by a single member and said that Ahn Cheolsoo

claiming not to know is betraying a party member.

In this current state, normal operation of

the National Assembly is impossible.

What do you think?

It is currently a hot issue.

People are the victims.

It was wrong of them to deceive the people.

Reporters are still gathered there, right?

Yes.

The reporters have been following you around.

That is why being here is like being in heaven.

This is an entertainment program.

You can relax and be comfortable.

The opposition parties have declared to boycott.

They are not really cooperating right now.

Aren't you worried?

I am very worried.

We must hurry and create jobs.

They need to help so we can enforce new laws,

but they are instigating fights over this.

Did you ever regret making certain comments?

I should've stayed quiet instead.

No, no. I can't stay quiet.

As the leader, I must sort out things, get people's

understandings and explain the situation,

so that I can move onto the next issue.

I never said anything else.

You said that you get many texts of encouragements.

It has become an issue that you reply them yourself.

Do you really write the replies yourself?

Yes.

What did you write? (Nod)

Many people asked me to apologize,

so I wrote that I ate an apple that morning.

I showed my interest that way.

When we met earlier you locked your arm in mine.

I was taken aback.

(What an honor to be locking arms with her)

You did the same thing with Hong Joonpyo.

(07.04.2017 Choo's office at the Minjoo Party)

I'll actively hold your arm. Go like this.

(A meaning of cooperation)

- I'll do as you ask. / - Thank you.

It was quite an issue.

Why did you ask to lock arms with him?

It's quite awkward between Hong Joonpyo and me.

Awkward?

He and I were in judicial training together.

We were also classmates.

- The bar exam. / - Yes.

In the past, he told me

to go home and raise your children instead.

(Oh gee...)

What did you say to that?

"My kids are all grown up now!"

He just ignored me and walked away.

He didn't apologize to you?

So you two aren't friends?

We can't be friends. He's too macho.

If we were friends, I'd call him by his first name.

(Why we can't be friends)

(Oh gee...)

Even now, when we meet individually

he isn't so tender and kind.

Really?

But politics are about putting personal issues aside

and thinking publicly.

I decided that I should treat him nicely

as the head of the ruling party.

So I asked him to lock arms together

and he felt quite awkward.

(Oh... gee...)

You have many nicknames.

Let's talk about what they are

and I will ask you questions about

how you got those nicknames.

There's "noir maker."

This nickname stands out. Noir maker.

Look at this.

No one else is visible in the pictures.

(Come in, come in)

Did you ask them to take pictures like this?

No.

He has his head down.

He looks scared.

Look at this.

(That's not all!)

(The godfather of the National Assembly)

(Can you handle me?)

You're posing confidently.

You look great.

Look at your coat.

- Was it set up? / - No.

(The way she walks is noir-like, too)

When I walked out after a general meeting of

the Assembly members, one of the supporters said,

"Your pictures are like noir films."

That's how you got that nickname.

You're like Choi Minsik in this picture.

From the movie "Nameless Gangster: Rules of time."

(Traditional markets are still happening)

(Her aura matches that of Choi Minsik)

You were at a traditional market, right?

Right.

But you're like the neighborhood gangster.

This one is more terrifying!

(Choo Miae has an ability)

(She drinks everything like she's drinking alcohol)

(Ha)

Are you drinking alcohol here?

Why don't we have a drink today?

Let's drink.

This is omija tea. (Cheers)

I'll pretend it's rice wine.

(Gulp)

From where I'm sitting

you look like you're drinking alcohol.

(Ha)

(She's always full of charisma)

Another nickname you have is "a kingmaker."

You got three presidents elected.

(Kingmaker Choo Miae)

(When Kim Daejung became president)

(When Roh Moohyun became president)

Lawmaker Choo Miae is need in our party.

(She was needed by former and present presidents)

You got three presidents elected.

How does it feel to be called the kingmaker?

Good. I'm the only politician

who was able to do that.

Among current politicians.

Is there a know-how of succeeding in the next election?

I do have a secret.

You do? What is it?

It wouldn't be a secret if I reveal it.

Why don't you give us a tip?

It's not even a tip. Everybody knows already.

To be honest...

There are three keywords.

Be sincere, be honest and be desperate.

- You're writing them down? / - Yes.

Former prime minister Lee Haechan said that.

He did?

Be honest, be sincere and be desperate.

They made false news because they weren't honest.

It also means they weren't desperate enough.

Maybe they did it because they were too desperate.

(Can't refute that)

(Indeed... He's Gyeonggyu)

VLOG 11 // 富士山 - Duration: 10:18.

A beautiful good morning out of the sunny tokyo

But I wont tell you where we go to

I make it super exciting for all of you

Lisa isnt allowed to know I mean she is allowed to but

we thought its funnies if she guesses

lisa wanted to get something out of the conbini

She wanted to have a milk tea

get in line

mhm those yummy things. how about

sausages and chesse

perfect for vegetarians

whats that ? big egg with cheese ?

whats that ? big egg and ?

it is ham ? *spoiler .. it wasnt ham lul*

anna wants this

so many people in the morning

we just wait for the shinkansen to open its doors

and you have to get in line in front of the doors

and the line just got extremly long

normally everyone would get a seat

but as we know tourists dont act like normal people

so i guess they wont sit on one single seat each

we wait to get in. we were here 20 minutes before the train departs

and thats the line in front of us

we just got into the train and eat breakfast again

best breakfast

chips

i got

and egg bread

then cheese and corn

then .. maybe i wont eat that but just in case

two onigiri and coffee

and now we wait for the train to departure

i guess it wont take long

we leave at 30 and its a few minutes before 30

and its really crowded

we just left the station in otsuki

we go to the fuji

i dont know if i put that in the title

and its super crowded

because everyone left the train here

why you look at me

cause all the people left the train

really really many people

and everyone just had to buy a ticket first so I would recommend to you

doesnt matter how long you stay in kyoto or tokyo or where ever

get the suice or the pasmo or something like that

because if you have to buy a ticket every single time you take the train

the suice just saved our asses so many times now

i mean we have to pay too but we just save so much time

we are so much faster

and when all the people got a ticket the train will get so crowded

and the train ride takes 25 minutes

just imagine you have to stand 25 minutes in this crowded train

you just commite suicide after it

just get the suica

as i said it saved our asses so many times

we dont have to buy a ticket every single time

dont have to check how much the ride will cost

just "beep" and go through. check you money from time to time

how much you have left

its much more convinient

so nice he slows down so we can take pictures of the fuji

we are at mt fuji now

and take the path to

the

chureito pagoda

we are really agog how far itll be

a real country side here

i bet the people just come here

because they have the temple up there

thats a really diffrent side

of japan

as we normally saw it

just in case you wanna go here

and you bought the japan rail pass

you cant get here with it

just to the otsuki station and from there you have to pay extra

with the fuji Q

so you have to pay again

even with the jr pass

9,60€ to this station

fujiiii

for one way

that really sucks

i have this app

and it said i can get here with the JR pass

i guess it just meant until otsuki ...

and not the whole trip

but now we are here

and its nice

lets make the best out of it

we just arrived at the temple and we walked this view steps

and we are really exhausted lol

and we have to walk this whole way

omg ... this will be hard

lets go

we are at chureito pagoda now

and its extremly crowded

its super annoying

we are at kawaguchiko now

in i dont know where

somewhere at the fuji

we wanted to go here because i read

that you can take a special train

to somewhere and then there is a nice lake

and you can take a gondel there

i thought maybe it would be like 2€

and the price for the train

but i thought that i could go here with the jr pass

but its not

now we are here and the shops are all closing at 2pm

we sit at a sidewalk now

cause all benche are taken

and all other benches are taxi benches

and wait for this train. we arent even allowed to go to the platform now

cause the platform will open at i have no idea oclock

so retarded

thats the most retarded place in japan

we go back to otsuki now

and maybe we find something intresting there

i wouldnt reccomend to go here

either you have a lot of money

and are bored af or ...

but...

if you wanna spend a nice, natural day

then this is the wrong place to go to

we will eat this

kitkat now

it is strawberry cheesecake

youll see if you can see it

oh its white

tastes like strawberry

only like strawberry

lol

cheesecake not found

nice

doesnt matter. i dont have strawberry kitkat

I make a result of this mt fuji day

actually the day way good

until we decided to go to kawaguchiko

that was bad. then we stuck there

then everything closed and now we are in otsuki

where is nothing at all

nearly everything was closed too

we got food in the convinient store and wanted to go back

but the next train comes in

when did we arrived ?

in 1 hour ...

thats really long

somehow i didnt thought about that

i dont know

i thought there would be more structure

i mean its a tourist spot

or at least something what tourists cross

i thought the shinkansen ...

she just left 'LOL' I talk to much

how rude

she tought "nope"

so the result of this day is

it was nice but please make a better plan then i did

when the trains are coming

when they bring you back

so you dont have to wait for 1 hour
