Waching daily Jul 4 2017

one of the biggest secrets to having a successful launch whether it's an

eCourse or a program or a brand-new service is the pre-launch so in today's

video I'm going to share my pre-launch strategies and how you can plan a

pre-launch for your next big thing hey guys welcome

back to another episode of just the tips with Trena where I provide online

entrepreneurs tips and tricks on how to create a video content strategy here on

YouTube that works for them you are subscribed to my channel yet just make

sure you go ahead and click that red subscribe button down below so that you

won't miss any of my videos let's just jump right into what exactly I did in

the pre-launch phase so the pre-launch phase is everything that I did prior to

releasing my new program YouTube boot camp to the world now I don't have

anybody working for me I am a business of one right now so I did everything on

my own I did hire two people that I'm going to talk about here in a minute but

for the most of it it's just me so one of the biggest things you can do in your

pre-launch phase is to plan everything so this meant planning out all my social

media in advance planning out all my newsletters in advance planning out all

my YouTube videos in advance get that all done and set up in some automation

tool for email I use convertkit for social media I use buffer so get that

all done and out of the way so it's not taking up your time when you move into

the most stressful time which is your launch phase I also planned out my

entire course before I even launched it so there are two ways of thinking here

one way is to plan your course out in advance and get it done and the other

way is to hold off creating it make sure people want to actually buy it and then

once people buy it then you create it I decided to create the course in advance

and invite beta testers to test it out so I had five people go through my

course with me so that they could provide me feedback let me know what was

working what wasn't working what they need in Mora and to get testimonials to

share during the launch phase I'm actually going to do a video next week

on how I wrote out all my eCourse contents so make sure you subscribe to

this channel so that you get notified when that video is posted some of the

other things that I did advanced prior to my launch was creating

all of my bonuses that I was going to add in the launch phase creating my

sales page in my sales video getting my testimonial from my beta testers because

people want to see testimonials people want to see that this is going to work

for them I also schedule out joint webinars and live master classes to help

grow my list and get people excited for the content I was sharing and I also

created some facebook video ads and thought about what was going to be my

strategy for Facebook Ads needless to say there is a lot that goes

on behind scenes before you even launch a program and the more you get organized

and the front end the much smoother a launch goes so let's talk about who I

hired why I hired and was it a good investment so the first person that I

hired was a copywriter I hired ashlynn Carter as my sales page copywriter and

my email lodge copywriter and let me tell you that girl was worth every penny

that I spent I'm a video person I don't really like to write especially sales

copy so ashlynn wrote an amazing sales page for me and the amazing sales funnel

that came during the launch and let me tell you it was worth it I have no idea

how to write sales emails and the whole funnel thing but Ashland's emails were

just copy paste put into a sequence and I definitely believe it was a huge

reason why I got so many people to sign up for YouTube bootcamp and the other

hire that I made was kind of last minute it was a hire for my facebook ads so I

hired a leafy jerk and I hired her because I didn't have the time to manage

my facebook ads I don't know what I'm doing on Facebook Ads

I have the content in the video already created for the ad I just didn't know

how to target the right people and honestly you have to keep checking that

consistently and constantly to make sure it's working I didn't have the time to

that so I hired Allie to do that and all my facebook ads were to my free master

class that ultimately pitched my program I didn't have any Facebook ads that went

directly to my program it all went to the free master class so then once I

moved into like my pre-launch all of that was kind of pre pre-launch

so once I moved into my pre-launch like all the stuff that was building up for

the launch I planned a giveaway and I really did that to grow my list now a

lot of these people probably are going to end up on subscribing to my email

list and everything but it did double my YouTube subscribers my Instagram

subscribers I believe I got over a thousand email subscribers and some of

those people will stick some of these people I actually will reach and they'll

buy something from me eventually but a lot of the people will just you know

drop off but it did create hype for my program and then I did do a five day

challenge and I did my five day challenge on YouTube live this allowed

me to attract a new audience while I was live on YouTube because I optimize those

videos and also got them on my email list because I had a worksheet for every

single YouTube live and so for them to get it if they weren't already signed up

for the challenge they had to click on the link to get the worksheet which got

them on my email list so that was a great way to not only grow my YouTube

channel but to also grow my email list and it also helps me create new content

for my YouTube channel while I didn't really have time to edit in some new

videos so just to recap my pre pre-launch when a little something like

this content creation creating all the

content for your blog your email your YouTube channel your social media

scheduling this means scheduling social media scheduling your YouTube videos

scheduling your emails automating as many things as possible also hiring help

if you need it I needed help with my copywriting so I hired ashlynn in my pre

pre-launch days and then once we move to the actual pre-launch phase leading up I

did a giveaway I did a five day challenge and I did two master classes

that ultimately pitched my program so what questions you have about launching

an e course I can tell you YouTube was game changing in my pre-launch strategy

so if you want to figure out how to get your YouTube channel set up so you can

start using it in your business make sure you grab my free youtube channel

checklist for newbies so if you're brand new to youtube this checklist is going

to tell you everything you need to do to get your channel set up for success

if you know somebody else that's in this whole pre-launch phase are thinking

about launching make sure you share this video with them by clicking like all

those social share buttons down below on Facebook and Twitter and give this video

a thumbs up so I know that you like me talking about launching and tips for

launching and using video in your launch strategy as always you guys thank you so

much for coming to watch my content I really appreciate it and I will see you

next week bye

Donald Trump and Neil Gorsuch have the right wing thinking big — really big - Duration: 12:24.

Donald Trump and Neil Gorsuch have the right wing thinking big really big

The entire Trump presidency has been pretty much a nonstop horror show for progressive

Americans, but the month of June made it clear that if you are worried about President Trump

and the Republican Congress rolling back advances made during the Obama administration, you

arent worried nearly enough.

Right-wing strategists seeking to undo what they see as federal overreach are looking

back as far as the New Deal, and some even further, to the Progressive era at the turn

of the 20th Century.

With Neil Gorsuch on the Supreme Court and hundreds of Gorsuch-like judicial nominations

in the pipeline, theyre making big plans.

Earlier in the month, the Faith and Freedom Coalitions Road to Majority conference

brought Religious Right activists to Washington, D.C.

The atmosphere was triumphalist, almost giddy, in sharp contrast to previous years complaints

about Barack Obama and dire warnings about a potential Hillary Clinton presidency.

Religious Right leaders had hitched the movements wagon to the Trump train, and they had already

begun reaping the rewards.

Candidate Trump had overcome conservative Christians qualms about his character with

a set of too-good-to-resist promises.

He said hed give them the Supreme Court of their dreams and he pledged to make them

more politically powerful by doing away with restrictions on churches political activities.

He won their trust by making one of their own, Mike Pence, his running mate.

Religious Right leaders pulled out all the stops to help Trump rack up a massive margin

of victory among white evangelicals.

Faith and Freedoms founder, political operative Ralph Reed, was happy to reel off numbers

that he said represented the groups outreach: 1.2 million doors knocked, 10 million phone

calls, 22 million pieces of mail, 30 million voter guides.

Republican leaders gratitude was evidenced by their extraordinary participation at Road

to Majority.

President Trump, Vice President Mike Pence, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Speaker

of the House Paul Ryan, House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, and House Freedom Caucus chairman

Mark Meadows all spoke at some point during the three-day event, along with other right-wing

luminaries like Sen. Ted Cruz and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton.

So much for perennial predictions of the Religious Rights political demise.

Trump spoke at the events opening luncheon, where Reed declared, We love him because

he is our friend. Trump in turn told the conservative Christian activists, You didnt

let me down and I will never, ever let you down, you know that. And, offering a subtle

olive branch toward activists who were disappointed that last months executive order on religious

liberty did not include sweeping exemptions for anti-LGBT discrimination in the name of

religion, Trump assured them, Believe me, were not finished yet.

A number of Trump actions won loud cheers, including his withdrawing the U.S. from the

Paris climate accord and his sweeping ban on foreign aid funds going to groups that

even support, much less provide, access to abortion.

But by far the biggest prize for Trumps right-wing supporters was the Supreme Court

seat that McConnell kept vacant for a year by refusing to allow Senate consideration

of Barack Obamas nomination of the widely respected Merrick Garland.

For that step alone, McConnell has entered the Religious Rights pantheon of heroes.

Religious Right leaders have a half-century-long grudge against the Supreme Court over rulings

on church-state separation, the right to privacy, legal equality for LGBT Americans and more.

Religious Right leaders were thrilled when Trump nominated Gorsuch.

They rallied support for his nomination and celebrated when he was confirmed.

They made it clear that they are counting on him to undermine the separation between

church and state.

National Organization for Marriage President Brian Brown saw in him the first step toward

overturning the Supreme Courts 2015 marriage equality ruling.

Anti-abortion activists are dreaming of the day that Roe v. Wade will be overturned.

But todays conservative evangelicals are interested in far more than abolishing legal

abortion and reversing civil rights gains for LGBTQ Americans.

Much of the Religious Right is also fully committed to the Tea Partys radically restrictive

view of the proper role of the federal government.

At Road to Majority, Trump adviser Steven Moore said the government should get out of

education and health care.

That stance draws on both a right-wing ideological view of the Constitution and a Christian Reconstructionist

worldview that God did not grant government the authority to be involved in education

or the alleviation of poverty, jobs that they believe He assigned to the church and family.

When Cruz addressed the gathering, he drew cheers with a challenge to his fellow Republicans:

We have a Republican majority in the House.

We have a Republican majority in the Senate.

We have a Republican in the White House.

How about we act like it?

Sen. David Perdue of Georgia gave one hint about what Cruz might mean, declaring, We

are in a war for the future of this Republic. Perdue cited the New Deal and the Great Society

as consequences of periods with Democratic political dominance.

The great progressive experiment of the last 100 years, with bigger and bigger government,

has failed, period.

A primary vehicle for reversing the great progressive experiment will be by packing

the federal courts with judges committed to a far-right view of the Constitution and laws.

Gorsuch was part of Trumps list of potential justices pre-approved by the Heritage Foundation

and the Federalist Society, which has been working for decades to achieve right-wing

ideological dominance in the federal judiciary.

In 2001, during the first 100 days of the George W. Bush administration, the Federalist

Society held a forum on Rolling Back the New Deal. While the Obama administration

interrupted that effort, a Trump administration and a Republican congressional majority could

put it back on track.

This years Road to Majority featured a session with a group of GOP staffers from

the White House and Congress: Paul Teller, a special assistant to the president for legislative

affairs and liaison to conservative members of Congress and movement groups; Erica Suares,

a policy adviser to McConnell; and Will Dunham, policy director for McCarthy.

Teller has clearly adopted his bosss hyperbolic style, describing Trumps first few months

as fantastic, with great success on healthcare and a huge, huge, huge victory

with the Gorsuch confirmation.

He said that getting Gorsuch on the Supreme Court is something that is really going

to change America. Another Supreme Court nominee, he said, would let Trump create epic,

titanic shifts.

Suares, who said that McConnell has a laser-like focus on judges, echoed Teller, saying

another Supreme Court nominee could fundamentally change the country. What kind of change?

She cited government programs that Democrats had passed when they had wide congressional

majorities, including the New Deal and Great Society.

Said Suares, We now have to undo so much.

Suares said that, along with lifting the economy, a major goal for Republicans is making sure

that legislation is geared to shifting the culture toward a more limited role

for government.

Suares celebrated the 100-plus vacancies on the federal courts, acknowledging a

lot of that is because of what we did last year and the year before with slow-walking

Obama nominees.

Legislation has its ups and downs, she said, but with these lifetime appointments, we

can really change the country in a short period of time.

Faith and Freedom Coalition executive director Tim Head picked up on that point, saying that

there are 120 positions open on the courts because of the, uh, deliberation of the

Senate during the Obama administration.

He said that during an eight-year period, typically about 400 federal judges would be

replaced; adding that number to the current vacancies could mean 525 new judges in a two-term

Republican administration, something he called extraordinary.

Dunham, who formerly worked at the Heritage Foundation and the Republican Study Committee,

agreed that for conservative activists there is pent-up frustration with eight years

of Obama, and even further back, all the way back to the New Deal. Said Dunham,

We are, one piece at a time, incrementally, slowly but very surely, restoring freedom

in America.

McConnell himself said that he was looking forward to Trump nominating Gorsuch-like judges

for every judicial opening, giving him an impact far beyond his time.

Not long after Road to Majority, Gorsuch gave Religious Right leaders evidence that he will

indeed be the far-right justice they have longed for.

He joins Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito at the far-right end of the bench, signaling

a willingness to further dismantle regulations on money in politics, undermine church-state

separation, and reverse gains on LGBT equality.

Right-wing activists celebrated Gorsuchs end-of-term contributions as a harbinger of

things to come.

One other point worth noting: Religious Right leaders have been telling their supporters

and Trump himself that he is on a divine mission.

Religious Right leaders had warned that the election of Hillary Clinton would mean an

end to religious freedom in America.

They had given their supporters dozens of religious rationales for supporting Trump,

declaring him anointed by God to save America by destroying political correctness and bulldozing

the Washington establishment.

During a Road to Majority session on Capitol Hill, McCarthy said of Trumps election,

I think that was Gods hand.

At Road to Majority, author Eric Metaxas was one of those portraying Trumps election

as a sign that God has given America one more chance to stave off His judgment, saying,

the governor of the universe has given us a reprieve in this election but we now

need to stand and fight. Rep. Barry Loudermilk, R-Ga., told Road to Majority activists that

he is genuinely excited about what God is doing in America right now. He said

God had given Americans an opportunity to have a re-founding of our nation and

return it to those ideas of our founding fathers, those principles, those things that

our founders were clear were biblical mandates. Loudermilk said Election Day was like the

landing at Normandy, with the real fight ahead against the enemy, which he defined as an

ideology that is destructive not only to our ideas but to mankind altogether.

During a Road to Majority session on Capitol Hill, Meadows, whose Freedom Caucus is most

closely identified with hostility to big government, demonstrated the extent to which the Tea Party

and Religious Right have always been overlapping movements.

Meadows told Faith and Freedom participants that he was their brother in the Lord

and that we have work to do to take this city and return it to its rightful place to

honor God and faith.

Meadows also echoed Religious Right leaders claims about religious persecution in America,

saying there is an attack that is going on. Its OK, said Meadows, to be of

a faith as long as its not a Christian faith, in this city. There is an effort,

he said, to silence the pulpits and the pews across this country. Meadows urged

attendees to pray for President Trump, who he said is trying to do what he can do

for the unborn and for marriage and Judeo-Christian values. Meadows said the option of failure

is not possible because our God still reigns over the affairs of nations.

Glueing PEI to Borosilicate Glass / 3D Print Bed Surface - Duration: 3:44.

Ok here goes round two.

Ok so this is round two.

I managed to ruin a piece of borosilicate glass and PEI plastic the first time around.

The adhesive which came with the PEI is called 3m 468mp – and it was supplied cut to size

with the plastic which I bought mine from Ebay.

Ispopronal.

It has a jelly like consistency – so it's quite easy to rip if you're not careful.

It's also very tacky, and will stick to anything, so once it's down, don't try

and peel it off.

PEI is also known as polyetherimide.

I've noticed it on oyster card readers while going around the transport system in London.

It has a distinctive greenish colour and is UV and heat resistant.

From the reading I've done, this seems like the best stuff to use as a print bed, but

I have to stick it on a piece of 3mm borosilicate glass.

Borosilicate is a thermal resistant glass – and notably the vessel for hot cup of

earl-grey drank by captain Picard in Star Trek the next generation.

It goes without saying if you are going to build a replicator, you need borosilicate,

hot.

It is also flat and will resist warping unlike the aluminium heat-bed.

So, a little earlier I applied some isopropanol on a cloth to the surface of the glass, to

clean it before carefully applying the adhesive - a few cm at a time, using a clean metal

painters scraper to push air bubbles out as I went along.

Meh that's not bad.

I then cut the excess off – which left some little bits of adhesive on my blade and on

the cutting mat.

I peel the protective layer off the PEI, and clean that with some isopropanol.

I then repeat the process.

To help me line up the pieces I use my engineers straight edge as a starting line.

That is about 6mm thick so I have plenty of height to rest the PEI against it.

Once the first section has stuck on, I get my painters scrapper and use it again to pull

any air bubbles out.

So some advice before trying to do something similar, avoid drinking too much coffee so

your hands are not shaking.

Do this while you are awake and not at the end of the day when you've been concentrating

on lots of other things.

Be patient.

Clean your surfaces before you join them.

Use something like the straight edge to help you line up your pieces.

And maybe don't work on a glass chopping board because everything was sliding around.

If you want to watch my assembly and review of the Anet A8 3D printer I'll link to that

at the end of this video, and don't forget to check out other videos on my channel which

are CNC related at the moment.

Thanks again for watching.

Focus On Your Inner Grids - Duration: 7:51.

Focus On Your Inner Grids

by Jelelle Awen,

Ive been offered this many times, a repeating message over and over, a Divine loop recording

played by my guides.

The Inner grids are the streams of energy flow that run through your body and your auric

field.

They are the streams of love too that runs through your emotional body.

Focusing on the Inner Grids means that you are conscious and aware of what is going INSIDE,

above all else.

You are feeling with curiosity and love what your reactions are, what your triggers are,

what your responses are to the outside AND what comes up from inside as you connect more

with your souls stories and your hearts scenes.

You are noticing how these emotional responses impact and affect your energy and your emotional

body.

These stories and scenes provide SO much information for you about you.

They offer a sneak peek into the places of trauma that are often buried deep, tucked

away out of mind, out of sight, out of heart.

Focusing on the Inner Grids allows for a sense of trust that Gaias light grids are doing

just fine on their own.

Gaia is a very powerful high dimensional planetary consciousness.

She is ascending too.

She is in process, just as we are on an individual level.

Her 3D grid with the familiar model of grid lines and Ley lines seems to be dissolving.I

believe this may be what has been called the matrix. Dissolving seems to be the best

word for what I saw in meditation around this.

As the HIGH frequencies of love and light come into Her atmosphere, they are dissolving

the holographic 3D grid that feeds on fear and lower vibrational energies.

The fear-based Star BEings (some Reptilians) that used this grid are letting go of it,

unable to hold on as it slips through and out of their reach.

They are being pressed into choosing love or fear with Gaias ascension, needing to

make a clear choice if they want to come along.

I wrote more about that here:

I was shown a temporary fourth dimensional grid system.

Temporary because it is a bridge from the old to the NEW.

The 4D grid system was swirling energy lines, curving, and swerving.

This seems to fit with the transitional, alchemical purgatory of Dark Nights and Light Days that

our world is undergoing right now and so many souls are experiencing on the awakening path.

I have heard other teachers/healers offer that 4D is almost all evil or dark,

yet I dont feel it this way.

4D to me is actually a very catalytic and dynamic transitional consciousness where SO

many lights are turning on even as false ones are being turned off, which can be a quite

painful process for awhile.

There is much ash in the air with fourth dimensional consciousness, but that doesnt

make it evil.

I dont feel there is any REAL evil.only degrees and levels of embracing fear or embracing

love.

Most BEings are a combination of both with openings and closings that allow for more

opening to love or more coming from fear depending on where their consciousness is coming from

and what they are triggered by in the moment.

Since ALL BEings are ultimately fractals from Divine Source, NONE can truly be ONLY evil.

In the 3D world, we have been so afraid of the dark, of going into our own fears, of

SEEing and leading with love into the shadow.

We have made extremes and black/white out of this exploration as it plays out in our

world because of what is happening in our inner worlds that remains unseen and untouched.

Focusing on the Inner Grids is about the reconciliation of your shadow, where it comes from, how it

connects to your soul legacy and to this life experiences.

As you embrace and heal your own shadow, you no longer project a sense of evil out into

or about the world.

There is a wondrous 5D crystalline grid available for Gaia and for those who are healing the

Inner Grids and so then can see it and feel it.

This New Earth timeline is manifesting in the moment of choosing love over fear, going

within, serving love to self, other, and with the Divine.

Those who are not opening UP in these ways, see and create the timeline that they are

meant to see and also the grids that they are meant to see and BE with.

The 5D grid system seems to be in a sacred geometric pattern that I didnt recognize

right away, yet it FELT familiar to my soul.

This grid is energized and created by EVERY soul that is able to tune into as their focus

on self healing and transformation clears the veils, heals the wounds, upgrades the

DNA, lightens the physical body, and upgrades all the clair sensory perceptions.

The familiar ley lines and energy vortexes that we are used to seeing and feeling seem

to be shifting too.

I was given this sense that ALL of 5D Gaia will contain powerful vortexes of energy and

many more activated energy lines.

As we connect more with the energy that we ARE, so we can feel this in ANY place, not

just special places around the world.

Rather than needing to take pilgrimages to Sedona, Arizona or Glastonbury, England, we

can go within and experience the New Earth grid system that comes along with us wherever

we go.

We are vibrating at a high level more often and so dont need these physical places

to activate us anymore, although we might still very much be drawn to visit them for

the soul legacy memories and soul bleeds that come through and are triggered from other

lifetimes.

A key aspect of the ascension process seems to be anchoring your Inner Grids to your cosmic

heart frequencies that open up and vibrate higher as you heal your emotional body.

Connecting with specific energies and tones as parts of you, loving and BEing with them,

allows what has been stuck to move on and to eventually integrate into the WHOLE you.

This creates deeper openings in the cosmic heart and more embodiment INfusion of the

higher self/soul essence into the physical body too.

Anchoring these aspects of you, that have been disowned, into your heart, holding space

for them, enlivens and activates the Inner Grids.

Focusing on the Inner Grids, travelling to the Inner Cosmos, and discovering and uncovering

the magical mystery tour of YOU.

Then, taking this NEW gridwork with you wherever you go, able to see more reflection of it

in your life and WITH Gaia as you grow!

This NEW gridwork allows you to serve love with others coming more and more from LOVE

and with LOVE!

Heart Toggle Pendants-Polymer Clay Jewelry Tutorial Part 2 - Duration: 18:07.

Hi there, Sandy here.

Welcome to another polymer clay jewelry video at KeepsakeCrafts.net.

In part 1 of this two part series, I showed you how to make polymer clay toggles that

are actually focal points in pendants for necklaces.

Today I'm going to show you how to take your toggle and toggle bar and turn them into a

necklace.

So here's the toggle that I showed you how to make last week and obviously it's not going

to go around the back of the neck as just a basic clasp.

This is a focal point.

It's just a fun way of using findings in a different way.

And here's the other one that I showed you that is all completed into a necklace.

It's really rather fun with just some beads and beaded chain and the toggle has dangles

hanging off of it and it uses a combination of your jewelry making techniques.

So I'm sure you can imagine the first thing I did was went through all my beads and chose

the colors that I wanted to go with it.

Now for this one, I went with these rose quartz beads and then also bright silver and some

sparkle to go with the little rhinestones that are in the flower centers.

So I went with bright silver here, but for this one, the first thing I chose were these

crystals, which are kind of a smokey color, but they have the purple in them and then

I decided from there to kind of focus on grays.

So I have some gun metal type spacers, some gun metal hearts which I thought were really

cute.

Some brighter silver hearts, but they're not too bright and then just a few leopard skin

jasper beads.

I also pulled out some purple Swarovskis.

I just had a whole bunch of kind of odds and ends of Swarovskis in purple.

Then I pulled out these fuchsia beads because there is the fuchsia in the little flowers

that we put on the toggle and I thought they might be pretty.

What was interesting is I have these in 6mm and 4mm and the 6mm were just way too much,

too strong, but look what happens when I just sprinkle some of the 4mm in there.

They just look really pretty.

They add some pops of color and really tie it all in together.

So what I want to have is somewhere around 16" of beads and that's where one of these

bead design boards is fantastic because I can look at it and get some pretty good approximate

measurements.

Now what I want to do is actually mix all these up.

I also chose some chain, but we'll use that in a minute.

You'll find these little plastic scoops in the jewelry section of your craft store.

I should do a Friday Findings video on them because although they seem very basic, they

come in a set of three, they are wonderful.

It was a stocking stuffer my husband gave me a couple years ago and I use them all the

time.

They're just really useful.

So what I'm going to do is take all of these beads and I'm going to put them on one of

these little velour beading mats.

This is my method for mixing up beads.

I could sometimes be really, I don't know, just a little too concerned about mixing things

up and getting them spaced just right.

So I try to do it so it comes out a little more random.

I'm going to fold this velour piece in half and just

send all these beads out into one channel of my bead design board.

Now this might not work to completely randomize them because some are heavier than others

so you may end up with more on one end, but I found it helps.

Like I said, if you're too much of a control freak when it comes to randomizing things,

you might find it helps to do it this way.

Okay, I'm really loving these little pops of fuchsia and the Swarovski sparkle.

I think that's great.

This is looking somewhere around 20" of beads.

So then I'm going to go and cut myself a nice long piece of bead stringing wire.

If this is 20", I'm going to cut this about 30" because this will actually be two pieces

of bead stringing wire.

I'm going to add a bead stopper to one end and then just string all of these onto my

wire.

So I've strung all my beads on.

I really love the look of this, the gray with the pinks and the lavendar and the fuchsia.

Very happy with that.

Now it's time to make a hole in your pendant and you can see I did that on this one.

What I used to go through that hole is this.

It's actually a very fine coil of very fine wire.

It's called french wire and I've done a Friday Findings video on it and you buy it like this,

just in a length and it's a coil you can use to cover bead stringing wire and it helps

protect it and it's just a really nice finish.

So I'm just going to take a little 1/8" drill bit.

This goes into a chuck of a power drill, but you can drill polymer clay very easily by

hand and I'm going to start by deciding where I want my hole and I want it kind of centered

on this lobe which is a little close to this flower.

Make sure you don't have it too close to the edge or you might blow that out.

So I'm going to have it about here.

It's always a good idea to start it with an awl.

You don't have to press real hard, but just make a little point to start and that will

keep your drill bit in place and then I put my drill bit in there and just drill out that

hole.

Like I said, polymer clay drills really easily by hand and I like to go back through the

other side and sometimes kind of move it back and forth while you're twirling it just to

clean out the hole.

And I've got my french wire here.

This is a coil of wire so if you pull on it or yank on it you'll distort it and stretch

it out.

Just like a little itty bitty Slinky.

So do be careful with it.

So I've got the long end of my string of beads here and the first thing I need to do is put

on a crimp.

Next I'm just going to go ahead and slide this through the hole to figure out how much

I need.

This protects not only your wire, but it protects your polymer clay and keeps your wire from

eventually cutting through the clay someday and it keeps your wire from being abraded

as it goes back and forth.

In this case though, I think the clay would probably be the thing to lose.

This french wire as I mentioned in the Friday Findings video comes in different diameters.

This one is .9mm so it's just right.

So if you have different sized drill bits and different sized holes you may have to

coordinate that.

Now I'm just going to put the wire back through the crimp.

It may take a little bit of fiddling and finagling.

What you eventually want is a nice tear drop of your french wire looped through the hole

of your polymer clay piece.

I won't torture you with making you watch me fumble.

There we go!

And now I'm going to use my One Step Crimper to crimp that crimp.

You can leave a little bit of room for a crimp cover.

This is probably one of the more fiddle-y parts of the whole operation as you can tell

and I'm kind of a fumble fingers.

Make sure you give it a tug!

You don't want to go losing your pendant and your whole string of beads here so always

give it a tug.

That's looking nice and secure.

Trim off that extra end of short wire and I have some kind of cool gun metal corrugated

crimp covers here and I don't use crimping pliers for the crimping.

I love my One Step Crimper for that, but I do use crimping pliers to pick up the crimp

cover because it holds it perfect without making things difficult.

Just slide that over your squashed crimp and press it gently and now I'm going to slide

down half of my beads and slide the other half down to the bead bug that's here and

then the remaining wire I'll just cut in about half.

Definitely had plenty of extra and put a bead clamp.

I'm going to put a clamp on this end cause I drop these things and I spent all that time

stringing it.

I don't want to have to do it again.

So we'll set that aside for the other side and here's the chain I've chosen to go around

the back.

And then this you can put through some more of your french wire.

Always a crimp first and then because this is just going around a bit of chain, I don't

have to measure it like I did here because it was a really thick piece and I wasn't sure

how much I needed.

I'm going to cut off about 3/16".

Somewhere around 6mm-7mm if you're not doing measurements, but the more sensible millimeters

I think.

There's that.

That goes through one end link of your chain and just like on the other side, it goes back

through the crimp.

Pull it up and fiddle with it until you have a nice tear drop of your french wire.

Leave a little room for a crimp cover, crimp it and add your crimp cover.

So there's that side I've strung on.

And now we're going to make the dangles that come off our toggle and one thing I forgot

to mention is that you should set aside some of your beads that you think will work nicely

for the toggle.

On this one I used these little pressed glass hearts and some of the other sparkle silver

in the chain.

I actually forgot to set some aside and ended up having to restring this, pull some off

and restring them.

And you just want some head pins and whatever other beads you want to make dangles.

So we'll do some of these crystals and I've got a few of these small beads.

So just string yourself three little dangles.

They don't have to be particularly long, 1/2" or 1" at the most because we're going to put

them on chain to make them really dangly.

So you can see I've strung my dangles and now I'm going to use the One Step Looper to

make them into dangles, but you can also use round nose pliers and wire cutters to make

loops.

If you want to learn more about this awesome tool, the One Step Looper, which just, you

can see how fast this is, it just makes this process really fast.

You really ought to know how to make a good loop, simple loop with round nose pliers and

wire cutters, but this is great when you have a lot to do.

It just speeds up the process.

And I have some chain for my dangles and you've seen me use this trick before where I'm not

going to cut the chain off of the long length.

I'm going to leave it long.

Use chain nose pliers to open up that loop I just made and pop on the end link of my

chain and then make sure to close up that loop nice and securely.

And it's up to you how long you make your dangles.

I'll make them a few inches, just like this one.

Maybe 3" at the longest.

Whatever looks good and looks right in proportion to your pendant.

So I'll just kind of look at that and say, "Okay, that one's going to be about that long."

Grab my pliers and I could have twisted open that link, but I didn't feel like messing

with it.

Repeat for all of your dangles and you can have one, you can have three, you can have

12.

It's up to you.

Three is a nice number though.

And here I'm ready to finish up the third one and you notice I just kind of positioned

them down here on my work space and try to get them all slightly different lengths.

I think it just makes it look a lot more interesting.

Just grab that with my pliers and chomp it somewhere.

Real precise.

Okay, now we have our dangles made and the next thing is to make a hole in the toggle

bar.

Easily done again with the drill bit.

Start with the awl, the center is good, and make a hole.

We're almost ready to string on our toggle bar, but there's a few things I figured out

along the way that we need to do first.

I'll show you on this one.

See that my toggle bar has several small beads right after the toggle and that's so that

when I put it through the pendant and then it hangs, that's what's going around the back

and it's a much more neater finish.

You can see I finished with just one of those beads peeking out.

It lays nice and flat and even.

If I were to have some of these beads, it would just be kind of lumpy.

So what you want to do is you've got your beads that are going to go around one side

of the necklace.

You want to just string on probably 5-6 smallish beads, 2-3mm.

So once you get all the small beads on, go ahead and come through the back side of your

toggle and then just hold onto that.

Or put a bead clamp on if you don't trust yourself to hold it securely, which sometimes

I don't.

And just test it.

And maybe I'll take one of those off.

So five seems to be just about right, these little beads.

Now I'm going to put on a crimp and the end links of the chain of all of my dangles.

Now that bead stringing wire goes back through the crimp.

If you want to here, you could use a wire protector although it may not fit through

the links of chain.

I chose a bead stringing wire whose color I don't mind seeing a little bit of here and

that's probably the easiest way to do it.

So then just go ahead and use your One Step Crimper or crimping tool.

Flatten that crimp.

Always test.

It's just so much easier to fix it now than if it falls apart while you're wearing it

or if you're making it to sell and it falls apart on a customer.

Not good.

So always just test it and a nice little crimp cover gives it a great finish.

And there's that end.

And now you just finish this end the same way with a crimp, a little bit of french wire

or a wire protector.

Then you can check it out, test it out and see how long you want it to be.

Add a clasp at some point in here.

Just break up the chain and add a clasp and your necklace is done.

Made with your own very unique polymer clay toggle pendant.

And yes, it has two closures.

A clasp in the back and the toggle in the front.

Only because the toggle in the front to me is just decorative and interesting, but I

do like to make my pieces adjustable so they're just the right length for what I'm wearing.

Trump's Legal Defense: The President Is Allowed To Violate The Constitution! - Duration: 4:59.

Donald Trump and his legal team have come up with a new excuse, a new legal defense,

for why President Trump continues to violate the emoluments clause of the US Constitution.

According to them, the president is actually allowed to violate the US Constitution.

Who knew?

Wow.

That ... Absolutely mind blowing there.

I mean, hell, Obama could have been doing so much more as president if only he would

have realized that the Constitution doesn't apply to him.

Of course, that's obviously not true.

If you are a United States citizen, the US Constitution applies for you.

It doesn't matter if you're the president or if you're homeless, you get the full protection

and consequences of the United States which, if Donald Trump is out there saying this and

his legal team's not out there saying that it's not true, I have to wonder if these people

that he has representing him in three separate lawsuits that have been filed against him

for violations of the emoluments clause, have these lawyers ever been to law school?

I mean, did they go to US law schools, too?

Do they understand US law?

Because if your client is out there saying the Constitution doesn't apply to me, well,

it's kind of an admission of guilt, right?

He's saying, "I did it but the laws don't apply to me, so whatever.

Yay."

If I were one of his attorneys, and thank God I'm not because I didn't go to law school,

I would be telling him, "Can you please, for the love of God, stop talking?

Your biggest liability right now, Mr. President, is your mouth, so shut up.

You know what?

Delete your Twitter app, too.

Go ahead and just get rid of that as well."

Donald Trump is currently facing three separate lawsuits for violations of the emoluments

clause.

For those who are not familiar, the emoluments clause says that a president shall not receive

any monetary financial gains from any foreign dignitaries, which, of course, he has violated

by encouraging foreign dignitaries to stay in his Trump owned properties, which they

have to pay for and the money goes back to Donald Trump.

He did it with Mar-a-Lago.

He also, according to the emoluments clause, is not allowed to receive any kind of financial

benefit from the Office of the Presidency other than his yearly salary, which, of course,

he is because the secret service and other government agencies are having to lease property

owned by Donald Trump in order to serve protection and other various functions.

So, yes, very clear violations of the emoluments clause.

Not necessarily something that's going to get him impeached, but something that should

make every American look twice about what this president is actually doing and why he

wanted to be president.

That's what's at the heart of this, folks.

Donald Trump didn't want to be president because he wanted to make a difference.

He wanted influence and he wanted more money.

Even power, for a guy like that, isn't necessarily as important because he had power.

When you're a billionaire in the United States, you have a hell of a lot more power than the

president.

But Donald Trump just wanted more money.

He knows that the Koch brothers have way more money than him and it pisses him off.

So, he wanted to use his office, maybe kind of, you know, close that gap a little bit

more between himself and the Kochs and Sheldon Adelson and the Gates family, but it's not

going to happen.

Donald Trump's presidency is actually hurting his brand and that is one of the best things

we can hope for from this because we know that Donald Trump isn't going to enact any

policies that are going to help 99% of this country.

So, the best we can hope for is a little bit of schadenfreude where he, himself, ends up

losing money because he's been such a disaster for the United States, the citizens of the

United States, and the US economy.

But as for his legal defense here, that the Constitution doesn't apply to him, I think

the bigger question is have you ever even read the Constitution, Mr. President, that

thing that you swore to uphold and protect?

Maybe you need to take a better look at that and understand that, you know what, it actually

does apply to everybody and when you're president, when you're in a position of power, people

are going to hold you even more accountable, to make sure that you don't violate that thing

that you swore to protect.
