Waching daily Nov 12 2017

another day here this time I found proper gloves in my car

I'll try to ride the 4x track today.. I knew it was here somewhere but thought it was at the end of the flowtrail...

lets see

well.. here are some proper jumps

wrong bike.. 29er trail bike...

find out what'll happen

4x

uh oh.. nope

wrong bike

lets roll down there

didn't roll...

rolling over this one..

another lap

blocked the fork...

nope

somehow nope..

but the first jump is nice.. I can imagine me whipping the 29er there...

doable!

no.. guess you have to pedal harder

thought that would be enough

suspension is going to be so hard

90psi in front , 250 rear if you want to know...

got pretty fat.. 80kg...

jump trail setup...

when increasing pressure you have to slow down the rebound sometimes

3 kilcks turtle.. another 3 klicks turtle...

feels like a softtail...

this just isn't a 4x bike...

that was a good approach

not going to jump that one.. no power..

that stupid 29er..

tyre ate my shorts!

almost...

just met the locals.. they are building the black flowtrail segment and now we're heading there to film some clips

FAQ avec mon petit ami Gerry : partie II ! 💞 - Duration: 22:31.

Une autre question... Quel est votre souvenir commun préféré ?

all of our traveling mm-hmm every time we travel we just kind of get outside of

our comfort zone try new things even if the place that we've been to before like

we've been to Paris together three times and I feel like every time we like see a

different side of the city we see a different side of ourselves you know the

first time it was very like exploring and seeing new stuff for me and then by

the third time it was like you know being able to kind of fall into a rhythm

and and go to our favorite places and the fact that we have favorite places in

Paris is like crazy to me you know we're that comfortable in a city that's so far

away yeah well that's what I would say but just to say something different I

feel like I love our adventures together in Brooklyn or the city like I love when

we have a long day on the weekend where we just do different I mean there's no I

mean York is amazing I mean I love that we live here and that we do take the

time and we should even more but to explore it I mean even just weekend you

know we did a photo shoot on the Brooklyn Bridge and then went to the

Whitney Museum and we went to brunch like a very she she plays but I just

love spending like a long weekend days with you makes me really happy

you know in our beautiful city yeah all right time for a refill how did you know

the GRE was the one yeah don't you know you are the one Cheers

I feel like I don't know it's always a hard question and I feel like in movies

and film that makes you believe that there's just one moment where you just

know that someone's though one and I think that life isn't really like that I

think I have a very specific kind of memory of when I knew that I loved you

and it wasn't like suddenly sad that you did it was just like one day I

was like like I love this guy and I know and then I'm and then at some

point I knew like hey this guy's at my house all the time I would like him to

also live here I and I feel like our love is a series of moments it's not one

special moment it's not written on there but you're

gonna have to tell your answer to this question I don't know there wasn't like

a single moment it was just like it we've been together for a while and like

it's pretty good I'd like to keep this up I'd like to keep going with this

that's really romantic yeah romantic pretty good pretty good

oh you manage your different point of view this one's for you find my please

when you're mad at him or when he's mad at you no one who loves the other one

the month oh oh oh wow there's so many questions here how do you manage your

different point of view I mean that's just like I think being a relationship

is being and not even like a romantic relationship being in any relationship

is a lot of give-and-take and I think for us we try obviously we fight we're a

normal couple but I do like to have moments when we get upset and then we

just sit down and like talk about thanks so much of it is like understanding why

the other person feels the way that they're feeling in that moment which can

be based on so many things that can sorry it stopped recording us so I think

I was just talking about being a relationship is all about certain

amounts of compromise and just having those conversations instead of trying to

like just getting super bad when you're mad oh yeah so when so what you're mad

at him when he's mad at you who's who's the one who loves the other one the most

that's not really a fair question it's not a competition yeah exactly

did you talk about future plans together yeah yes yeah I mean that's you should

definitely talk about those things I mean I think any relationship I think it

was hard at first to talk about the future but it's so

important mm-hmm do you have anything to add no what qualities do you love the

most about each other what was the detail it struck you the

most when you minute for Rachel it was her her independence

she's a very like confident doer of things like you know making videos

writing you know it's even when it was just you know a hobby and you had a lot

of going on when you were in college and you were working you were still

committed to blogging as well um what was the detail that struck you most well

that was the decision but what about the qualities that you loved about me how

hardworking and confident and driven you are that's me

I know what struck me when I first met you was that I guess in a way like that

you were so supportive of me and my blog and I think that I had had other

relationships or experiences where people were really dismissive of my blog

and it was really hard because you don't want to be overly confident or

narcissistic but at the same time I am really proud of what I've done with my

blog and I don't want to have to understand it and I didn't ever feel

that way with you I felt like you understood it on our first date he

literally asked me to tell him more about my audience demographic all my

flaws of my readers and it's so nerdy and it's so cute and I don't know I feel

like kind of then I knew that I wanted to start dating you because you were

really kind and very supportive first week where do we want to travel to

together oh my god everywhere everywhere we've got this like running list

yeah of places that we want to go to and like just from the top of my head we

really want to go to Berlin together we want to go to Vienna we want to get

Amsterdam's we want to go to Prague we want to go Portugal Lisbon was just

added to the list yeah the long-running list we want to go to I mean even in the

u.s. we want to go to Nashville that's where I went to college and Jerry's

never been to Nashville we're gonna go into Atlanta

we've never been to LA together Charleston Charleston Savannah Austin

and then like going back to International we want to go to Tokyo

Seoul Shanghai yep I love to go to Kyoto Morocco we've got a very long list of

places that we want to go home we're slowly knocking things off the list we

went to Spain earlier this year we're about to go to Copenhagen we're

really excited about that that was really high on the list of places that

we want to go to we still want to go to Stockholm want to go to Greece you want

to go to Italy and Italy you wanted to go to pasta uh no mm-hmm and oh my god

something yeah we want to go everywhere so we should just retire now yeah if you

want to send us anywhere it doesn't matter where we're probably game to go

yeah if you guys have places that you would love for us to know about please

leave them in a cause below cuz we would love even more suggestions so if you

guys are from somewhere super awesome let us know yeah I think there's there

really isn't anywhere that we don't want to go I mean there's some places if

there's like an ongoing genocide skip it well there's so many places in chemical

weapons United States Portland to with you okay um will you stay in New York

City if you were to live somewhere else together where would it be we've talked

about like where else we could live obviously like Paris would be on the

table because it's just really cool and really fun

yeah no Aris never one if I could make it happen just not speaking French very

well but like I don't yeah I think to move from New York to somewhere else

like where we're very spoiled by everything that New York has to offer

just like things to do and the conveniences of living in a big city

that we would you know if we were to move somewhere else it would have to be

a fairly metropolitan yeah we're City please for sure describe your ideal day

just a lot of just being outside going to different places maybe an art gallery

or an art museum involved I like to drag Rachel to art museums a lot of eating we

like to go dance together okay well here's the ideal day since you're not

gonna answer it this is it it's gonna have to be your you know I already know

step by step yeah so get up early we ride our bikes for a few hours and then

we come home shower then we have a big brunch and then we walk around the city

you know be it for a New York or in Paris on London we can ride our bikes

there and then we we love to eat brunch and then just like walking around

enjoying the sights smooching and going to a museum or going to a park taking

some photos then having happy hour then maybe having dinner then maybe a sunset

cruise see this is my oh oh say up until the sunset cruise that's pretty much

every day that we're on vacation yeah well we could go on a sunset cruise all

right we'll do the the Copenhagen sunset cruise I'm doing country sign us up with

it so you're an influencer and I have my own career going on oh wait so the last

thing Kerry did not read that heading I organized all of these questions into

categories so the third category or whatever kind of girl wrong is questions

about blogging and social media I'll read this one

meant for me obviously you're an influencer and he has his own career

going on do you guys deal with the pressure of your own jobs your 24/7 on

social media what's it like for him you you put up with me coming home sometimes

kind of late I mean that's just the nature of working in New York and I feel

like like the content creation side of things like posting is not you know time

intensive or like it gets in the way of vacation but we've we've gotten good at

like taking photos which is the time-consuming part and like integrating

that into our weekend our vacation our lives and so like I know that when we go

out to dinner there's a chance that like we got to spend five minutes taking a

photo while we wait for for dinner while we wait for a table and that's fine you

know it's you get used to it and you learn little tricks to like make that

happen a little bit faster and to anticipate things and to be ready for

things because I realize that that's the nature of her job and so being is you

know ready and efficient in you know doing what she needs to do in the day to

day makes things as easy as possible and as seamless as possible yeah I mean I

feel so lucky Jerry is very supportive of what I do and that hasn't always been

the case in my life and Jerry I think in some ways you kind of like being a part

of sometimes I sure it's annoying but I love doing Instagram stories with you

and and having you I mean because to me I just like sharing my life and Jerry is

such an important part of my life so that makes a big difference and I think

with the photos and things like that like it's something that as a couple you

have to learn together I think that it was harder at the beginning because

obviously that's a different way of life and I think that I'm really blessed that

Jerry is cordovan knows the reason what we're

doing this he's not he's not just thinking oh she's just taking these

photos like to be vain or to annoy me it's obviously my career and the because

he knows that this is the really career choice that I made he's supportive of

that and so he has patience when we we do even making this video like thank you

honey for taking the time to sit down it's 9:30 at night when you could be

relaxing and video with me I'm gonna push back on that a little bit you said

it's a different way of life I think is that you said well then I mean have you

ever had a girlfriend that made you take thousands of photos of her not thousands

but the next question is is he the best Instagram husband is it just too much to

always take photos and have to wait to your meal and like I hate I hate the

term Instagram husband because like who who hasn't like of all the guys out

there who hasn't like taken a picture of their girlfriend for Instagram like it's

2017 every every woman out there wants a great picture for Instagram wait okay

men and men too man yeah we all want a dope picture for Instagram and so it's

and it's the easiest to ask our boyfriend or girlfriend to say and say

hey our partner hey like this is a cool place to take a picture like the Sun

setting life looks really good like we're at this cool restaurant that my

friends really want to go to when we're the ones who are going to it like take

this cool picture for me and I'm a little bit better at it than most people

but that doesn't make me an Instagram husband because like who hasn't taken a

picture for their partner to post yeah but I think that and not that I like the

term interim husband but I think that it's you do he's downplaying it I mean

he will take because most you most people it's like you asked the your

person to take a photo of you and they take five I mean Jerry will come out

with me on the weekend then take I mean it takes hundreds of

photos to get a good photo sometimes and he does have a lot of patience and he's

just downplaying how sweet he is no I think you know every everyone's

everyone's their partners photographer at times I'm just better at it than

those people yeah he's gotten very good media takes time but we've had a lot of

practice we've been practice what do you like least about being a blogger slash

blogger boyfriend what do you like the most

I like the trips and thank you the perks so if you work in a PR company and you

want to send us to just rewind to all the places that we want to go yeah those

are my favorite perks wait how funny was it when okay so Jerry

and I posted pictures of us with sheet masks on on Instagram stories which we

looked so frightening a fight remember I'll put a photo and the next day a

brand sent us like 25 sheet masks and literally wrote on the know like you and

Jerry are so cute doing sheet masks like here's a bunch of sheep mask and it was

so cute um so thank you mask bar thank you master bar but there's definitely a

lot of perks I won't let you I won't let you undermine that well you play that

down because we've gotten to go on yeah had a lot of amazing experiences which

is one of my favorite parts about being a blogger too is you know we've been

able to go on trips to Paris together we've gone to that we went to the VMAs

last year we went to all the other cool shit we've done why isn't we've gone to

Montauk twice yeah you travel so much more than I do

well it's cuz of your job let's see we've done a lot of really cool things

like neither of us would have done had it not been for Rachel's career for

Rachel's blog for Rachel's you know commitment to posting so all right well

posting Rachel what's the least your least favorite part oh and we met Casey

nice dad at the polo match so I had already made

easy' nice that I met Casey nice day see nice look on a panel together in 2012

and he remembered me and I oh so sweet yeah I can't believe you remember we we

were on a panel like five years ago before and we're at the yeah we're at

the polo match and he walked up and was like hey Rachel and I was like hi Casey

because we literally sit here on the couch and watch his videos like every

day so I think he said I follow you on twitter I love your outfits yeah okay

now your least favorite come on there's there's just some times that like we got

to go to a thing or we got a ghost like a certain place to shoot something yeah

oh you know we need to take a picture if this like specific place in the city and

like sometimes you just don't want to do it yes you just want a tired fall asleep

on the couch instead yeah I want to like you know just do your own thing read a

book yeah so that's that's few and far

between I do feel like when we are traveling it

it's hard because for me actually when I'm traveling unlike most people that's

their vacation but for me I'm actually working a lot more when I'm traveling

because I want to make sure that I'm getting so much content in a new place

so we're traveling I I even sometimes feel bad because I can be like I know

for Gerry he only has a certain amount of vacation days and he's taking these

days to go on a trip with me and I'm sometimes being so annoying and asking

for a million photos and I think sometimes it's hard I mean just for me

answering this question personally I think one of the hardest parts about

being a blogger is kind of separating yourself from your brand and your blog

and because sometimes it does get you down sometimes I've read a comment and

it really hurts my feelings or sometimes I have a huge pimple and I makes me hate

myself I mean more than maybe somebody else would because I have to be on and I

have to make videos and I have post photos and it can be I think it's a

lot of it's really internalizing your own insecurities and then people also

telling you your insecurities to your face in a way that maybe in Martin Roby

will don't have to deal with like that's probably one of the hardest parts and

sometimes yeah I just wanting to relax and I mean every day I post on Instagram

every day I do Instagram stories there's no days off as a blogger but at the same

time I always say this I always say I never have a vacation but my whole life

is amazing because I get to spend my life sharing the clothes I love the

travel that I love and I feel so blessed that that has become my career thanks to

you guys emotional but let's just do this one since we're do that one was

Jerry a good photographer before you met yes and no I went to film school way way

back before I got into advertising and so like the technical side of

photography like in f-stop in ISO and like even like things like loading film

that old film but you know the just knowing the like technical aspect of

aspect of photography mm-hmm I learned but I never really picked up a camera

and shot a lot of things and so like composition I was like a complete newbie

at and once but I feel like for fashion fashion yeah yeah so I didn't know

anything about composition but like I could like I could nail the exposure I

knew would look you know though the lighting would be good the you know the

exposure would be right but I would cut her feet off oh yeah her part of her

hair wouldn't be in the shot so that took a little while to learn yeah and I

as any blogger anyone who's had their photo taken a lot it's like you become

very specific about your style the way that you want to look and you have this

vision in your head and trying to explain it to someone else

who maybe isn't a even too professional photographer but especially to someone

who's not a professional photographer explaining exactly what you want and

then you see the photos and it's not what you want and it can be hard but

Gerry has learned a ton and now we can do shoots really fast because he's used

to it he knows the angles that I like and and we have fun with it yeah yeah

and the last one does Jerry get annoyed to take a million photos not really you

do sometimes sometimes but I think we've got a lot better at it yeah well thank

you guys so much for watching special round of applause for this

beautiful man here oh thank you to Jerry for being a part of this video let us

Mauritania--part 1 (Improve_Your_English #17) - Duration: 6:24.

Hi, I am SidiMohamed and this is Improve_Your_English.

Thanks for being with us.

Today's episode is a bit special because I am going to talk to you about a beautiful

country.

Today we are going to talk about ... drums roll ... Mauritania.

"So today you are going to talk about Mauritania, that's great!"

Yes!

"That's great!"

"Sorry, did you just say Mauritania?"

Yes, I did.

Why are you guys here?

"That's great!"

"Well, we are here to help."

"Exactly, we are here to answer any questions that you might have about Mauritania."

Okay, great, because I have a lot of questions for you.

On my Facebook page, we have people [members] from all around the world.

So, if you are watching this and you are mauritanian, this video will help you talk about your country

in English, if you are not mauritanian, this will be your chance to know few things about

Mauritania while working on your English at the same time.

So, it's a win win strategy.

Let's ask the question where is Mauritania on planet earth?

Mauritania is a country in the Maghreb region of western Africa.

It is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the west, Western Sahara in the north, Algeria

in the northeast, Mali in the east and southeast, and Senegal in the southwest.

About 90% of Mauritania's land is within the Sahara.

As a result, the population is concentrated in the south.

What about the capital of Mauritania, what is it?

And what is so special about it?

The capital of Mauritania which also happened to be the largest city in Mauritania is Nouakchott.

It's located on the Atlantic coast, and it's home to around one-third of the whole population,

the Mauritanian population.

Nouakchott is the hub of the Mauritanian economy and also its administrative center.

What about the population of Mauritania and what are the languages that are spoken in

Mauritania?

Well, as of 2016, Mauritania has a population of about 4 - 4.3 million.

Mauritania is nearly 100 % Muslim.

We speak five different languages in Mauritania.

5 languages!

Yep.

That's Interesting.

The official language in Mauritania is Arabic.

Hassaniya is an Arabic dialect spoken by the majority of people in Mauritania.

Then we have Snoike, Wolof, and Polar.

The fifth language is French and it's our second language.

It's used widely in the media and it's also used to teach all scientific subjects in schools

and in the university.

What about the dress code is Mauritania?

It's looks a little bit bizarre.

Doesn't it?

Mauritanians are really serious about the way they dress.

To give you few examples, in Mauritania men usually wear the daraaa and the Khaftaan.

Women on the other hand were malihfa for instance.

We like the way we dress and we try to do our best to dress like this, in Mauritanian

style.

Now let's talk a little bit the Mauritanian economy.

Shall we?

Well you can actually tell us about it yourself.

Exactly, go ahead.

Well, the majority of the Mauritanian population depends on agriculture and livestock for a

livelihood, by livestock I mean animals like cows, sheep, and camels.

But a lot of Mauritanians were forced into cities because of the droughts in the 1970s

and the 1980s.

Mauritania has extensive deposits of iron ore, which amount for almost 50% of total

exports.

Finally, Mauritania's 754km-long Atlantic seaboard is among the world's most plentiful

ocean fishing grounds.

It contains a great diversity of species.

According to some estimates the total captures by year often exceeds hundreds of thousands

of tones.

Now, there is this saying that gets thrown around about mauritanians, it goes like: whenever

two Mauritanians meet, the third has to be tea.

So why is that?

And what is so special about Mauritanian tea?

You see, Mauritanians have their own way of making tea.

It's not like the Tunisian tea, it's not like the Moroccan tea, and it's not like the Egyptian

tea.

With all due respect.

Just the way in which mauritanian tea is made is so beautiful and sophisticated.

We make it two to three times a day.

In each time you get to drink three hot cops of tea.

Separated by about 10-15 minutes.

I see.

Now one last question before we end this video: as far as the Mauritanian gastronomy/cuisine

is concerned, what is the number one plate?

I mean, what's your favorite Mauritanian food?

Well, that's a really tough question because it differs from one person to the other.

But in my opinion, I would say rice and fish, right?

I absolutely agree with you.

Theiboudiene is my favorite.

That's it for this video.

I hope you enjoyed it guys.

In part 2, I will talk to you about tourism in Mauritania and some of the historical and

ancient cities in Mauritania like Chingutti, Wadan, Welata ... etc.

We will also take a deeper look at some of the most interesting cultural aspects of the

Mauritanian society.

Thank you very much for your time.

I would like to thank my friends Mohamed Diagana and Salihou Fall without whose support and

help the making of this video would have been impossible.

If you are interested in science I invite you to take a look at Diagana's fb page.

I will link to it in the description bellow.

If you haven't done it yet, make sure you download your copy of my book English-On to

help you take your English to the next level.

I got my copy.

I also got my copy and I am loving it already. There is a link in the description bellow to my website.

Thanks a lot once again, and I will see you next week, take care.

Eat More To Lose Weight? (The Independent Newspaper Article Debunked) - Duration: 3:17.

whats up guys this is Matt form Macro Lean and in this video I'm talking about

"Eating more foods to lose more weight" today I came across an article online in

"The independent", the newspaper and basically it was about this Fitness

influencer, basically a fit chick on Instagram talking about how you need to

eat more foods to lose more weight. And this is a completely flawed premise and

it's untrue, it's completely untrue! She says "unknown to most people one of

the biggest reasons they don't get results they aim for is they are simply

not eating enough" she then goes on to talk about starvation mode, your

metabolism slowing down when you reduce your calories and that you need to eat

more food to stoke your metabolism. This is a classic classic myth that's been

going around for ages that your body goes into starvation mode and countless,

countless scientific studies prove this does not happen. It would only go into

the starvation mode if you are already at a very very low and body fat and then you

stopped eating and you would have muscle wastage and and tissue

damage. But you're carrying a considerable amount of body fat you have

stored energy. And if you reduce your calories low or even stopped eating

completely for three or four days or a week or two weeks which I wouldn't advise

obviously. Your body will start to take fuel from the body fat. It will start to use that

body fat to keep the machine running, Your body! So starvation mode does not

exist for the average person okay! starvation mode would be for someone in

Auschwitz in a concentration camp which is already bone thin, stick thin and then

they're being starved. But for the average person metabolisms slowing down,

the down-regulation of your metabolism and the starvation mode, your body holding on

to body fat, storing body fat does not happen. It's impossible! By telling

someone to eat more food to lose more weight does also not make sense at all!

if you have a lady that needs 1600 calories to start losing body fat,

and she's now eating 2,000 calories how is that going to work? More is going in

than going out! How can you lose body fat? It's impossible! To lose body fat you

need to be in a calorie deficit, consuming less calories than your body

currently needs to maintain its current composition.

You need to have a good amount of protein, fats and carbs. Calories are a unit of

energy measured in food and drink. If you increase the amount that your body needs

or the amount that you're eating already.. how can you utilize body fat for

fuel? How can you start to lose weight? you cannot! This sounds great in theory

"You need to eat more food to lose more weight" and it sounds great when you're

selling programs on the back of it! But, in reality you need to eat less food to

lose weight or she probably wants to say is you need to eat more nutritious food

which is full of fiber, more food volume that's going to make you feel full. For

example, if you're having two pop-tarts for breakfast and then you change that

for eggs on toast there would be more satiety in the eggs on toast. You'd have

more food volume but probably have less calories. So the bottom line is eating

more food to lose more weight does not work. It's impossible! What you need to do

is be in a calorie deficit with consistency!

Defiant/Prime-Line U 10385 Door Strike - Door Strike Plate - Duration: 7:39.

Okay!

So, the security strike plate for your front wooden door.

In today's video, I'm going to show you and I will explain to you why it is one of

my favorite door strike plate and why I really recommend it to any front door.

So stay tuned! ♪ [music] ♪

So, before I'm going to start, I want to introduce myself.

My name is Koby and I'm with Silver Eagle Locksmith Las Vegas YouTube Channel.

If you're looking to get your house, your business, or your bike more secure, this is

the channel for you.

So don't forget to subscribe to my channel in this button below.

And make sure to take the bell icon right after so you'll get notified whenever I'm

releasing a new video when I release them.

Okay, let's move to the product.

Must known before installing this door strike plate, the first thing is going to be the

distance between the latch and the deadbolt—so between your door handle and the deadbolt.

Now, this door strike plate, the distance between the two is going to be 5 1/2 inches.

So you've got to remember that.

You want to measure your door before that.

And if there is a different distance between the two, sometimes, yeah, this door strike

plate will not work for you guys.

Okay!

So, the second thing you must know before you move forward with the installation of

these door strike plate is going to be the gap between the door and the frame.

You want to make sure that there is enough gap to install it.

So what you want to do is to use a one-quarter drill bit and just go from the top to the

bottom in the space that you're going to install it, and make sure that it goes smoothly

in.

That's what I do.

Now, if there is not enough space for it, you can still install this door strike plate,

but you got to mortice the strike plate with the actual frame.

It's a little bit difficult because you have to use a hammer and a chisel.

And if you don't know how to do it, if you've never done this before, therefore I don't

recommend to do that at all.

Just forget about this door strike plate if you've never done something like this before.

That's my recommendation.

Of course, it's up to you guys.

So that's the second thing.

So, the third thing you must know before installing this door strike plate is going to be the

screws.

Now, the screws that are provided with this lock are going to be six 3" long screws

(and shorter ones also), but the screws are super cheap.

They're super cheap, guys.

So I just don't recommend to install them.

The reason why, when you're installing them, and you tighten the screws a little bit more

than you're supposed to, the head of the screws just break!

So therefore, it leads me to the conclusion that the screws are cheap.

So just don't use them.

Anyway, what I recommend is to buy a small box of heavy duty screws from any local hardware

store, 3" to 3 1/2" screws.

And then, just use those ones instead of the ones that are provided with the door strike

plate.

So this is my recommendation for you guys.

And let's move to the fourth reason.

So, the fourth and most important thing to know before installing this door strike plate.

When you're installing this door strike plate, and everything works well—you have

the distance, you have the gap, you have the right screws as I mentioned—when you shut

the door, when the latch engage, your deadbolt won't lock properly, it is not aligned properly.

And it's happened to me almost every time I'm installing this door strike plate.

And if you're watching this video and you have the same issue, I have a solution.

What you will need to fix that problem, you're going to have to use an actual power drill.

And also, you're going to have to use a small tool that I will show a picture right

there.

Basically, what it is is a small tool meant to shave some metal parts.

And also, you can use it to shave wood.

But this small tool is crucial for the installation.

When I'm installing this door strike plate, I always, always, always do the alignment

so the deadbolt will lock properly.

Now, you can buy this tool in the local hardware store—not the big, famous one.

The small ones usually are selling them.

You can see how it looks on the picture.

The one I use is a diamond cut.

It is a fancy one.

It's very good.

And it lasts for a long time.

But if you can find something cheap that will do the work as well, that's what you're

going to have to do.

You're going to have to shave it on the top, so the deadbolt can go in and out smooth

enough because the manufacturer, for some reason, didn't think about it.

But it's an issue.

So, this is the fourth thing.

What you will have to do, don't go crazy if the deadbolt is not locking properly.

I hope this tip will help you.

Now, let's move to the benefit of this lock and why I recommend it.

Let's talk about the benefit of installing this door strike plate.

There are so many.

But on a nutshell, this door strike plate is increasing the security of your door.

And it will make your door to be more kick resistant, more burglary proof.

Definitely and highly recommend.

This is why I'm making this video!

I want you to get my tips and my recommendation about this awesome product.

You've got six 3" screws.

You can even install 3 1/2" and 4" screws to your doorstep.

You know how much it's increasing the security if someone tried to kick in the door?

So, you can imagine.

Alright!

So, I'm not going to show you guys how to install it.

But if you do want me to make a video to show you how to install it, please just write a

comment down below.

Let me know if you liked this video and if you want me to make another video to show

you guys how to install it.

I'd be more than happy to answer as well if you have any questions.

And also, if you did enjoy the video, don't forget, thumbs up and make sure to subscribe

to my channel in this button below right there.

And take the bell icon right after so you'll get notified whenever I'm releasing a new

video when I release them.

Okay, you guys, we'll see you in my next video.

Thank you so much.

How to Master Singing by a Master Teacher of Swimming - Duration: 4:37.

Today I heard the most profound tips for singing mastery I've ever heard in a long time.

I discovered them in an unusual place for singing tips.

I heard them in a Tim Ferriss podcast entitled "Terry Laughlin, The Master Who Changed

My Life".

I cannot recommend more highly that you listen to this entire podcast.

This podcast is not about swimming.

It's about learning a physical skill.

It is immensely important to listen to and apply to your study of singing.

Hi, I'm Chuck Gilmore with Power To Sing

Here are some significant highlights.

1) Avoid Error Points.

Kicking and breathing are the two major air points and swimming.

What are the major error points of singing? in my opinion it is the larynx rising and

the vocal cords not adducting adequately.

2) Purchase the Book "Mastery" by George Leonard.

I just ordered mine.

George wrote a magazine article for Esquire in the late 80s.

More reprints were requested of that article than any other article they had ever printed.

The story George was telling was about taking up aikido at age 47, a very advanced stage,

and becoming the latest starter ever to reach the master teacher level in aikido and how

did he managed to accomplish that.

The book is a set of prescriptions or principles for attaining mastery.

The essential idea of the book is that life is not designed to make things easy for us.

Rather to present us with challenges that help us grow and that we should embrace these

challenges and we should embrace these challenges.

And if we apply certain behaviors we're going to experience a lot more success.

A) Always be focused on improving the skill itself.

Any time you are doing it focus on improving the skill.

The amount of time you spend, is secondary to doing things that improve the skill.

B)

Focus on weak points, don't focus on your strengths

C) Love the plateau.

In anything we learn, as we're working our way through the most basic and easier skills

we learned pretty rapidly and then things start to slow down.

Thanks may slow down to the point where you only experience breakthrough every 6 to 12

months or so.

George Leonard wrote that 'when you practice guided by the principles of mastery, there

is always positive change taking place at the cellular level below your threshold of

awareness and that periodically this change consolidates into a thrilling leap forward.

After 50 years of swimming, when in his mid-60s, Terry said, he was still learning things that

thrilled him.

He was getting insights about his own stroke that were literally thrilling and they were

coming at really, really long intervals.

Having read George Leonard's book on mastery he was really prepared for plateaus and thrilling

discoveries.

3) Be passionately curious to learn more

4) Love what you're doing so you enjoy it today

There are many more jams and wonderful principles to apply to singing that you will find in

this podcast.

The next time you go on a walk or for a drive listen to this podcast and apply its wisdom

to your learning to sing.
