The North Korean soldier who defected to the South used a vehicle to get near to the truce

village of Panmunjeom before fleeing across the border.

The soldier was shot several times during his escape.

He was taken to a hospital near Seoul where he underwent surgery.

Kim Hyun-bin reports.

The North Korean soldier who defected to the South via the truce village of Panmunjeom

drove a car to get near to the area.

According to South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff on Tuesday, the soldier exited the vehicle

and continued fleeing south across the military demarcation line.

(Korean) "The defector approached the enemy guard post

using a car until the tires got stuck in the drainage pipes.

He exited the car and fled across the Military Demarcation Line.

We maintained surveillance and traced his movements via the security system."

The official added that the soldier took cover near a building on the southern side of the

JSA.

However in the process he was shot several times.

The defector is thought to be in his twenties or thirties, and wore a uniform of low rank.

He is currently at Ajou University Hospital in Suwon, south of the capital, after undergoing

five hours of surgery.

The doctor added that the patient suffered from five to six gunshot wounds, which damaged

several of his organs.

The patient is currently in intensive care, however the doctor added that more surgery

is needed for him to recover.

The JCS said on Monday that the defector suffered from gunshot wounds to his shoulder and elbow

from North Korean forces while fleeing across the Joint Security Area at Panmunjeom.

He was airlifted by a United Nations Command helicopter to Ajou University Medical Center.

Moon at ASEAN: S. Korean president, Chinese premier agree to expedite restoration process of... - Duration: 3:28.

Let's start in the Philippines...

President Moon Jae-in marched on with his vision for a stronger, wider partnership between

South Korea and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations on Monday... as he met with

the leaders of the ten member nations.

But, what grabbed the most attention -- at least from the South Korean media -- was the

one-on-one between President Moon and Chinese Premier Li Keqiang.

Our chief Blue House correspondent Moon Connyoung reports.

(STAND-UP) "This is the Philippine International Convention

Center, the venue of the 2017 Summit of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and

related meetings.

The area in and around the venue had been locked down for days leading up to the main

event AND Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte has made an executive order declaring the

three days of the ASEAN Summit special non-working days; schools and offices in the Metro Manila

area are closed today... to ensure safety, security, and convenience for leaders and

delegations visiting this country for the summit."

( - ) South Korean President Moon Jae-in is one

of the eighteen plus leaders attending the international summit... one that's of particular

importance to a leader who has his eyes fixed on the ASEAN region... determined to bring

their relations, diplomatic AND economic, to new heights.

To this, the leaders of the ASEAN threw full support as well as on South Korea's efforts

to establish lasting peace on the Korean peninsula.

(STAND-UP) "As are other multilateral or international

meetings, the ASEAN 2017 is also being used as a venue for numerous sideline one-on-ones.

For South Korean President Moon Jae-in, that includes Chinese Premier Li Keqiang."

on Mr. Moon's agenda in Manila: a rendezvous with Premier Li Keqiang... especially coming

on the heels of a breakthrough bilateral summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping just a few

opportunity to discuss specific ways to expand our cooperation on issues of mutual interest

that the two countries run into sensitive issues as the relationship develops further,

his forecast of China-South Korea practical cooperation is very bright... and that he

was confident about the future of their bilateral ties as the industrial structures are highly

complementary."

(STAND-UP) "Let's put the past behind and move on.

So, the agreement has been made and reconfirmed at the highest levels between Seoul and Beijing.

Experts remain divided on how smooth the relationship will proceed from here on out, but what's

for sure is that it's too soon to tell... and we'll definitely find more out in a couple

of weeks' time when South Korean President Moon makes that Beijing visit to face his

Chinese counterpart in December.

Sixth woman accuses George Bush Snr. of groping her - Duration: 1:25.

Former U.S. President George H. W. Bush has been accused of sexual misconduct… again.

A woman says he groped her as she took a photo with him some 14 years ago.

She's the sixth woman to come forward with a complaint against Bush senior.

Park Ji-won has more.

A woman claims former U.S. President George H. W. Bush squeezed her buttocks as she posed

for a photo with him and her mother in 2003. Rosyln Corrigan is the sixth woman to say

she was groped by the former president. She told Time magazine that she was 16 years

old at the time,... and was horrified and confused over the encounter that took place

at a CIA office in Texas. She was attending the event with her mother

and father, who was an intelligence analyst. She said she was emboldened to speak out after

five other women made similar accusations. All six accuse Bush of groping them during

group photo. Actresses Heather Lind and Jordana Grolnick,

author Christina Baker Kline, journalist Liz Allen and former politician Amanda Staples

have all accused Bush Senior of similar incidents. When the reports first emerged,... the 93-year-old

Trump promises major statement on North Korea and trade - Duration: 1:45.

U.S. President Donald Trump, after wrapping up his trip to Asia, said he will make a major

statement on North Korea and trade later this week.

Although it's not yet clear what the statement will entail,... it may include re-listing

Pyongyang as a state sponsor of terrorism.

Here's Arirang's Kim Hyo-sun.

President Trump will release a major statement on North Korea and trade on Wednesday,...

as he returns to Washington from his marathon tour of Asia.

Trump made the remark while speaking with journalists ahead of a trilateral meeting

with his Australian and Japanese counterparts in Manila.

(ENGLISH) "So we'll be making a major statement on Wednesday.

And this has been a very fruitful trip; for us and also in all fairness for a lot of other

nations."

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said earlier this week that Trump

would announce at the end of his trip his decision on whether or not to officially re-list

North Korea as a state sponsor of terrorism.

Quoting a government official,...

ABC News reported that a recommendation had been already made to the president and that

he was considering it.

On the trade issue,...

President Trump hailed the progress made so far,... adding America's trade deficits with

other nations will decrease significantly.

(ENGLISH) "But we've made a lot of big progress on trade.

We have deficits with almost everybody.

Those deficits are going to be cut very quickly and very substantially."

It's left to be seen whether the statement will also include details related to the revision

of Washington's bilateral free trade deal with South Korea.

How To Get A Rounder Butt / Bum - Duration: 2:26.

what up guys! It's Matt from Macro Lean and this video is primarily for the ladies!

Because i'm gonna be talking about how to build a better bum, a better booty, dat

ass... Cos come on girls you all know you want a better bum! A round a bum so the

guys are like whoa.... I mean not me obviously... I'm not the kind of guy who wants to

just sink my teeth into a perfect round peachy, yeah I mean obviously it's not me

so let's get on with the video shall we! First off to build a better bum you

need to be working your legs. If you're not working your legs what the hell are

you playing at? You know you should be doing squats, deadlifts, lunges but

you didn't watch this video to just find out that because you know that already. And if you

don't know that already, you just found something new out. But

those should be paramount, they should be mandatory in your workouts, in your leg

exercise routines. But there's a few more tips and tricks I've learned through

years of training a multitude of ladies, of females and these two tips can

help give you the extra round, extra firm

peachie rear. Dat bum! The first one is going to be a step up, a step up is a

kind of a variation of a lunge. Basically you're stepping up onto a step funnily

enough or a bench. This targets the glutes and the upper hamstrings. You can

do this using your bodyweight and when you're strong enough

I would then start to add weights. You can hold a kettlebell, you can hold

dumbbells by your side. You want to keep your core nice and tight, your back

straight and I aim for around ten to twelve reps per side. The step-up is a

great bum builder. The second of the booty building exercises is going to be

the reverse lunge. Again great for targeting the glutes the hamstrings. You

want to keep your core tight your back straight as always and I just find this

exercise is left out of a lot of programs. It helps build that bum it helps with

that firmness, that tightness that we all want. Obvs... so if you want to put in this

and the step-up you will be complementing building that firmer

round bum, but obviously guys to get lean you need to be addressing your energy

balance, your calories and your macronutrients. If you have your

nutrition dialed, in you're doing full body workouts and you're adding in

specific leg exercises to build that bum you will go that firm booty fo sho!

It says the relations between Russia and the United States are still in crisis.

As you know, I speak often and at length about it, we are ready to turn this page over and move on, to look into the future,

to solve problems which are of concern both for the people of the United States and the people of the Russian Federation,

and to think about filling our economic relations with concrete significant content.

Look, at the last Economic Forum in St Petersburg, the US companies had the largest representation.

US companies were in the majority at the Economic Forum in St Petersburg. Everyone wants to work in Russia.

Now, they did not let ExxonMobil work on the Arctic shelf.

The company was simply deprived just of an interesting, promising opportunity that would have enhanced the economic power of the United States, created jobs in the United States, generated revenue, taxes, etc.

This is just one example, while taking into account restrictions in financing, for instance, there are many more examples.

Your place will be taken by your competitors. It is inevitable in the modern world.

But we want harmonious relations with the United States not just in the economy but also in ensuring security.

We have the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty – START III.

When the treaty was being concluded, I was not the President of Russia, and President Trump did not take part in drafting that treaty.

But it exists. There are issues in it that need to be discussed.

Another problem is short- and intermediate-range missiles.

We hear reprimands from some of our US partners that Russia allegedly violates that Treaty. But in this case, they should show how we do it.

Meanwhile, in Romania there are launch pads deployed that can be used not only for interceptor missiles

but also for the Trident system, which are intermediate-range missiles deployed in the sea,

and they can be easily brought ashore and used as surface-based intermediate-range missiles.

In our view, this is a direct violation.

There are also some other issues that we can and should discuss, including the fight against terrorism.

The fact that even under such conditions we manage to agree on anything (I mean the Syria statement) is already good, albeit too little.

Korean prime minister highlights economic progress and stresses importance of ASEAN - Duration: 2:10.

Korea's prime minister says the nation's latest economic figures are promising, but the country

is still heavily dependent on outside factors.

He also called on the need to expand ties with Southeast Asian countries.

Our Ji Myung-kil has more.

Prime Minister Lee Nak-yon said Tuesday that Korea's stock market jumped by 12 percent...

while market capitalization increased by 1-hundred-95 billion U.S. dollars.

He cited improved market conditions since the launch of the Moon Jae-in administration

in May.

(Korean) "Korea has recently had some promising economic

figures.

Korea accounted for a 3-point-3 percent share of the global market, rising to a record high,

and is expected to regain its position as the world's sixth largest exporter."

However, he did order related ministries to be aware of the continued rise in retail oil

prices in Korea due to a hike in global crude oil prices,... and he told ministries to prepare

for a possible rise in interest rates in the coming months.

Lee added that the government will spare no effort in keeping household debt in check

and ensuring any increase in debt does not hamper Korea's economy.

Korea's overall debt incurred by households came to over 1-trillion dollars as the end

of June this year.

Citing President Moon's ongoing trip to Southeast Asia,...

Prime Minister Lee said the ASEAN market will be a great opportunity for Korean businesses.

(Korean) "Southeast Asia is getting the world's attention

as an emerging market, and is in the vicinity of Korea geographically and culturally.

It is time for us to forge close ties with the ASEAN countries, both economically and

culturally."

Lee ordered ministries to ensure that ties will bring benefits and prosperity on both

sides, with transportation, energy, water management and information technology likely

to have the greatest potential for cooperation.
