Look at that beautiful ship

I saw a ship a-sailing, A-sailing on the sea;

And, oh! it was all laden With pretty, things for thee!

There were comfits in the cabin, And apples in the hold;

The sails were made of silk, And the masts were made of gold.

I saw a ship a-sailing, A-sailing on the sea;

I saw a ship a-sailing, A-sailing on the sea;

The four-and-twenty sailors That stood upon the decks,

Were four-and-twenty white mice With chains arround their necks.

The captain was a duck, With a packet on his back;

When the ship began to move, The captain said, "Quack! Quack!"

I saw a ship a-sailing, A-sailing on the sea;

I saw a ship a-sailing, A-sailing on the sea;

Mutual Fund Q&A, Bharat 22 ETF & SIP Closure, Hindi, November 18, 2017 - Duration: 5:14.

In this video, we take up the questions of two viewers. Rajat Arora wants to know how to get money back at the end of 5 year SIP

The other question is by Anand Kumar who wants to know whether to buy Bharat 22 ETF for listing gains

Listing gains are sought in initial public offerings (IPOs) in stocks, not mutual funds

Bharat 22 ETF is a mutual fund which is listed on the stock exchanges like all exchange traded funds (ETFs)

For listing gains, you need to be in stocks and in IPOs. When you seek listing gains, you are behaving like a trader, not an investor

ETFs are passive investments which track an index and invest in stocks in the same proportion as the composition of the index

In Bharat 22 ETF, the investment is done in 22 stocks comprising the index

We invest in mutual funds for gains in the long term

If you stay invested in an equity investment for less than one year, you are hit by 15% short term capital gains tax

At the end of an SIP, you can't get all the money out if it is an ELSS SIP since each instalment has a lock in period of 3 years

It is not an ELSS, the capital gains from the SIP instalments of the last one year will be subject to 15% short capital gains tax

The remaining SIP instalments are tax free since they are subject to long term capital gains tax which is nil

First, you need to sound out your bank to cease the funds transfer. You then need to inform your advisor to assist you

If you have made the investment directly from the fund house, among other things, you need to visit the website for handholding in the process

3 PROVEN THINGS SCHOOLS CAN DO TO CURB THE ADHD EPIDEMIC WITHOUT PRESCRIBING DRUGS TO KIDS - Duration: 5:06.

3 PROVEN THINGS SCHOOLS CAN DO TO CURB THE ADHD EPIDEMIC WITHOUT PRESCRIBING DRUGS TO

KIDS

BY Alex Pietrowski,

We really just dont know what the long-term, generational effects of such widespread use

of ADHD medications will be on our society and the individuals whove been taking these

meds their whole lives.

There have never been long-term studies because the medications have not been around for very

long, yet the FDA and Big Pharma are perfectly comfortable pushing these pills onto the public.

The truth is that they do not want people to be healthy and free of dependency on pharmaceuticals,

they want customers and cash flow and dont care if children as young as one year old

are being put on these drugs.

If these institutions actually cared for our well-being and welfare, they would undoubtedly

strive to put as few people as possible on these meds.

They would especially refuse to give these to children without thoroughly examining all

options and possibilities before introducing prescription speed to alter the behavior of

kids who dont seem to adapt well to the modern schooling environment.

If they really cared for our welfare, they would demand that before any child is given

these medications they were given the opportunity to try out and explore natural, non-chemical

alternatives.

We have plenty of evidence suggesting that common sense alternatives work well to positively

influence the behavior of school children, and here are three that we know work well.

1.

Increase Recess and Play Time

The most common sense, natural solution to inattentive behavior in school children may

be the basic idea of giving children more time to free play and to engage their bodies

in physical activity.

Its such a simple notion in such unusual times that it actually sounds revolutionary,

and several schools in Texas are being hailed for trying a new program which solves behavioral

problems by doing nothing more than allowing children to play outside more often during

the school day.

According to Today, the Eagle Mountain Elementary in Fort Worth, Texas, has been

giving kindergarten and first-grade students two 15-minute recess breaks every morning

and two 15-minute breaks every afternoon to go play outside.

At first teachers were worried about losing the classroom time and being able to cover

all the material they needed with what was left, but now that the experiment has been

going on for about five months, teachers say the kids are actually learning more because

theyre better able to focus in class and pay attention without fidgeting.

2.

Meditation

In 2016, an elementary school in West Baltimore made international news for replacing detention

with meditation and reporting incredible results.

Behavioral complaints against a student is typically the basis for referring a child

to an ADHD specialist, and in this case, meditation improved overall behavior at the school.

Instead of punishing them or sending them to the principals office, administrators

will now be sending children to the mindful moment room where they will be able to

meditate and wind down.

The new policy has been in place for over a year, and in the time that the meditation

room has been set up, there has actually been no suspensions throughout the entire year.

[Source] 3.

Yoga and Tai Chi

Yoga and Tai Chi as forms of exercise is incredibly powerful at strengthening the mind-body connections.

In-school programs could easily adopt these simple practices to give their students a

chance at deepening the connection with themselves before pushing them onto medications.

In 2003, a study published in the journal Adolescence looked at how regular massages

for 20 minutes twice a week could improve behaviour in the classroom.

This is interesting because studies have also suggested that tai chi and yoga may also help

improve ADHD symptoms.

According to the studies, children with ADHD that practiced tai chi became less anxious

or hyperactive.

(source) Final Thoughts

If these three ideas were implemented in schools, giving parents and kids a better way of helping

children to adapt to the rigorous schooling environment, then we would no doubt save many

from a lifetime of addiction to pharmaceuticals and the unintended consequences that will

surely surface as this generation grows into the next.

ARE YOU STILL BREASTFEEDING? REYKJAVÍK INTERVIEWS - Duration: 14:20.

Are you still breastfeeding?

How long would you say it's normal to breastfeed?

Wow, haha

Maybe six, seven months. Yeah, something like that

Uh, about three..no...two. About two, three years?

Yes, just as long as possible

Do you mean little kids? Yeah

Uh.. maybe one and half to two years.

How long would you say it's normal to breastfeed?

Uhm...I'd say on average like 6 months maybe?

Six months to a year or something? Yeah, about that. Yeah.

I would say a year. A year?

I should know this I'm a woman. Haha

Ah, I know it starts to get very creepy around four or five years old

I think the normal would be about a year? A year?

How old are you guys? 12 going on 13

Are you still breastfeeding? NO! Yes! Kidding, haha

No. Hahah.

No. I don't think so. How old are you? I'm 64 years old. Ok

Would you say that you are still breastfeeding? Oh, no. Hahah

Do you drink milk or consume milk products?

Nah. Little. Little? Yeah, just a bit.

Yes. Yes.

No. Are you vegan or? No no.

Why don't you consume milk? I just think they taste bad. Yea ok.

I eat cheese and whipped cream maybe, but generally I don't consume milk products

Do you drink or consume any dairy? Some, but not very much

Ehm. Yes.

I drink, like, animal milk yeah. Yeah? Like cowsmilk

Would you say that if you drink milk and have milk products that you're breastfeeding, just from another animal?

Yes.

Yes. No. No? Nah, it depends. I drink it from the carton not...

I drink it straight from the cow, haha.

Cheese and cream are milk products...Would you say that if you eat that you are breastfeeding from another animal?

No, not really. You can't say that because there's been chemical changes in it since it came from the udders.

But it comes from the udders? Yes, it does.

Would you say that you're then breastfeeding from a cow? Yes.

We don't call udders breasts...

Oh, ok. So, you're udder feeding?

Ok. When I eat skyr or something I'm not thinking to myself, like...

oooh..straight from the udder, you know, just like my mothers'...

Do you consider that normal? No.

Are you then on your way to giving it up...? Yes. She's vegan and we're vegetarians but we're giving it up soon

You're on your way to becoming vegan? Yes. Ok, brilliant.

Do you think it's weird to still be breastfeeding...

...from another animal species?

Yes. It's very unique. It depends...it depends.

I mean, who would you think: "I'm going to drink milk from this animal"

You don't really think much about it...

Is there any other animal in nature that does this; drinks milk from another species?

Yea haha. Really? I haven't seen anything? I don't know.

You don't see a chimpanzee drinking milk from a cow, do you? Nah...

Don't you think it's a bit weird to, like, consume dairy and be breastfeeding from another animal?

Yes. I mean, I'm trying to cut dairy out. Yo, why's that?

Well, I'd like to go vegan eventually for the planet, haha. Sweet, sweet.

We're on the same side, aye! Yeah! Haha

I think it's, uhm, I mean the dairy industry is very bad environmentally, so...

So, that's why? Yeah, I try and drink more, now I'm trying to...

I still like cheese, milk and butter. Yeah it's hard to give up cheese right?

Yeah. But, uhm. I mostly drink hazelnut milk and almond milk

Why do you think the cow produces milk? Why? Wow, I've no idea.

Is it for the calf? Very likely. Nah, but she produces milk the whole year.

Yes, for the calf? Yes, partly.

...and we take the calf away so we can drink the milk? Do you think that's normal?

No, naturally the calf should get it. It's for him.

So, we shouldn't be drinking milk from cows?

Well, it's ok as long as she doesn't have a calf.

But, for her to produce milk she needs to be pregnant and then give birth to a calf

Yes, she needs to. But, then she milks a bit extra after that

Yea... for example, these milking cows aren't constantly giving birth to calves

Aren't they? No, no.

They usually give birth during spring, then they milk throughout the whole year.

Like humans when they have children? Nah, maybe not just like humans, but...

A tad bit different? Yes, quite different I'd say.

But, don't we have men artificially inseminating regularly to make the cow pregnant?

Yeah, yeah. But, they also do that in the human world.

Yes. But we're exploiting the cow?

Yeah, yeah. But, naturally, we don't do that in the human world?

No, no. But, they always say the animals were put here for us to eat them.

Do you think so? Yes, well I think meat tastes good. I'm not considering giving it up.

Do you think it justifies doing it just because everybody else is doing it?

But, what's wrong with doing it (consuming milk products)?

Eh, you have to exploit the cow. For a cow to make milk she has to give birth to a calf.

...and we take the calf away so that we can consume her milk.

Do you think that's good or bad? I think it's bad. Yes.

Knowing this, would you consider changing? Maybe drink soy or oat milk?

Yeah. I often drink that. Do you like it? Yes

Would you say that your taste buds are more important than an animal's life?

Hm, yes/no. Like I said. The animals were...they've always been around to eat

Animals in agriculture? Yes, they've always been around.

Always? Well, certainly for a very very long time.

Do you think that just because we've been doing something for a long time, do you think that justifies...?

No no, it doesn't. I'm not trying to justify it. I'm just saying that's how things are.

Would you say it's good or bad?

It probably has some positive results. But, there's also many bad things about it.

Yeah. What is bad about it?

How they raise animals on a large scale indoors. We (Iceland) still don't do that.

Would you say that, like, culture should dictate what's morally right?

Well, I think it does, by some norm. Yeah. I think, whether or not it should, it does.

What I'm trying to say is, like

Slavery was once culturally accepted and obviously we think that's horribly wrong, right?

So, we don't really think culture should dictate morality.

Eh, what I'm trying to get at is, in the dairy industry we treat animals really cruelly

We, like, forcibly impregnate dairy cows and take their calves away...

...just so we can consume their milk when we don't really have to. What do you guys think about that?

I actually, I do think about this quite often.

Uhm, because I'm basically vegan except I've not yet been able to sustainably live without youghurt

I'm just like addicted to youghurt. Haha.

So, in every other capacity I am vegan. Yea, and it's a point that I return to quite often.

and I'm still grappling with...

Why would you say that you're going towards being vegan?

Uh, I stopped eating meat when I was 10, I think. I just sort of put two and two together.

Where what was on the plate what coming from, and I think it was, I just got grossed out to be honest.

...to begin with. Then over time my taste for animal products has just decreased

Like, the less of it I eat, the less I want to eat, and now I can't even fathom...

So, you just connected with cruelty basically? Yeah

You don't have a problem with cows being raised and their calves taken away for us to drink their milk?

My grandpa was a farmer in Wisconsin. No, I have no problem with that.

So if we could live happily and healthfully without eating animal products would you say that's the way we should go?

We can do that. Yeah. I mean, I think it is very possible.

and it's more a matter of, you know, taste or pleasure or convenience or...

So you don't think those things are more important than an animals life then?

Ehm, I mean, I'm very sympathetic to the lives of animals

Why did you decide to go vegan? For the ANIMALS! and the environment, yeah.

...and for your health? Yes. More normal too. Haha.

So, you're against animal cruelty? Yes, very.

You're Icelandic? Yep.

Because I've. Ok, so I've actually done some research or searching. I'm half Icelandic, was raised in the US and,

The food industry in the United States is just, I mean, very troubling. Yeah.

The impression that I've gotten is that in Iceland animals are treated much more humanely

and, for instance, like the use of hormones in milk products or something

Definitely, I think it's less like hormones being injected into like cows and stuff here

But, we still treat animals as a product.

We still have like pigfarms where they're just crammed in there, like pigs, mother pigs lay on their side, can't move

And it's just horrible conditions and...

Basically, we're just treating animals like product here just like they do in the US

It's just on a much smaller scale but it's very similar to like anywhere I've seen

So yeah, but what you see like pictures of is maybe happy cows roaming around and...

and sheep, they definitely get to roam around here, but still at the end of the day we slit their throats when we don't really need to

I think that's cruel. I don't know about you guys, but yeah I think that's pretty cruel.

Yeah. What do you guys think about that?

Yeah, I...I think the way that like an industry has formed around it is really interesting and its, like

It's like pretty gross, the whole thing, uhm

It has made me lessen the amount of meat I eat and stuff, because I'm also aware of like the stuff they're putting in meat

And the whole industry is just to raise animals to then slaughter them. Yeah.

So I definitely think about it.

You don't like being cruel to animals when you don't have to, right? Yeah.

Most people would say that. Yeah. And I think most people are vegan in their heart <3

Like, I would say that. It sounds cheesy but it's, I think it's true. Yeah.

The last thing that I'll just say is, it's kind of a out of sight, out of mind type thing.

If a person was forced to see the cow or the sheep or the chicken or whatever it is...

...either abused or killed in front of them or something

It's very different from just walking into a grocery store and buying something that you can just sort of...

...forget where it came from.

Yeah. I think most people would probably stop me if I had a pig here and I would just slit its throat right in front of them.

People would like think I'm crazy. Yeah.

But...Don't do that! ...then they go and buy ribs somewhere else, right?

Man, I'm always running into vegans when conducting these interviews! Haha

Absolutely brilliant. But, good luck and thank you for the interview!

Yeah, thanks also.
