How to make transition with a Parallax effect in PowerPoint - Duration: 3:07.
Hi, and welcome to another Fridaytip
In today's tips, You'll see how to make a really cool transitions in your Powerpoint presentations.
The trick is called a Parallax effect because the backgrounds move at different speeds
in relation to each other.
And it creates a great effect, which can make your presentations look even more professional.
It is easy.
Follow and watch how you can become a true PowerPoint Ninja
You can start by opening up PowerPoint and find a nice image that you want to use as background.
Make sure the image covers the entire slide like this
Now you make a rectangle and choose color from the image that matches and looks good.
Use the PowerpPoint eyedrop tool to do this.
Be sure to drag the rectangle to the edge so that it covers the entire slide, like this.
Grab the rectangle and place it below the picture.
Access the menu and create a new text box. Here I write "welcome to"
Make a copy of the text box and place it on the rectangle you created earlier.
Here you can enter a suitable text.
Now you hold the SHIFT and CTRL key while marking the rectangle and the 2 text boxes,
Right-click and select groups
Now you have linked all the items with the exception of the picture.
Go to Animations, located on the menu
Now you can select <Add animation>.
Here you select the line animation that you can find below.
Hold down the SHIFT key and drag the red animation point until you see the rectangle covering the slide.
Like this.
Now you can select the rectangle and choose the animation on the right side of the menu.
Just hover the mouse pointer over the image and click. Like this.
Remember to change the animation on the top left from CLICK to WITH PREVIOUS
otherwise you will not get the effect we are looking for.
And finally. To make the Parallax effect work, halve the animation.
To do this, grab the red animation point on the image, hold SHIFT and halve the animation.
Just like this.
And then you're done.
Then you've got a nice Parallax effect that you can show off.
You can also create the same effect by animating horizontally like this
Then just train and you can impress customers and colleagues with a professional presentation.
