Time running out to resolve North Korea crisis: McMaster - Duration: 2:04.
"Time is running out" on North Korea... and countries around the world... must do more
to denuclearize Pyongyang.
That's coming from U.S. National Security advisor H.R. McMaster... as Trump prepares
to embark on a five-nation tour of Asia,... with the regime's growing threats... topping
the agenda.
Kim Hyun-bin shares with us his remarks.
White House National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster... told reporters Thursday... that
President Trump will call on all countries... to further pressure North Korea into giving
up its nuclear weapons.
He added that the president... will remind friends and foes alike... that the U.S. stands
ready to defend itself if needed... using its full-range of capabilities.
"What the president has done, is clarified in all of his discussion and statements on
North Korea, our determination to ensure that North Korea is unable to threaten our allies
and our partners and certainly not the United States."
In an interview with YTN, McMaster said Trump will solidify his stance of denuclearization
of the Korean peninsula during his visit and is expected to warn Pyongyang that any attack
will be countered by Seoul and Washington.
He added that the U.S. will consult with South Korea before taking any military action against
the North.
"We are completely intertwined in our command structure we are sharing information and intelligence
every day.
It's hard to imagine any scenario where threat could manifest itself..."
The most critical stop in President Trump's week-long trip to Asia... will be in China...
where he's expected to press his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping... to tighten the screws on North
Korea.
President Xi may be asked... to further reduce China's oil shipments to North Korea,... and
to slap restrictions on coal imports and financial transactions with the regime.
President Trump leaves on Friday... for his tour of South Korea, China, Japan, Vietnam
and the Philippines,... the longest visit to Asia by any American president... in more
than 25 years.

Liberty Korea Party revokes membership of ex-President Park Geun-hye - Duration: 2:08.
Park Geun-hye, sitting in jail after becoming the first ever democratically elected South
Korean president to be impeached... is now kicked out of the Liberty Korea Party.
The conservative lawmakers reached the decision as the disgraced leader embroiled in massive
power abuse and corruption scandals is seen as a liability.
Kim Min-ji has the latest from the main opposition bloc.
Former President Park Geun-hye has been stripped of her membership in the Liberty Korea Party.
The conservative party had sought for months to sever its ties with Park... due to her
tainted image following the massive power abuse scandal that led to her ouster.
Announcing the decision, Chairman Hong Joon-pyo said the party needs to start anew to regain
the trust of the people.
(Korean) "The Liberty Korea Party is being labeled
as the party involved in the power abuse scandal... as a means of destroying the country's conservative
bloc.
So, I have decided that in order to rise as a conservative party,... we need to lose this
albatross around our necks -- this image of being Park Geun-hye's party."
The party had earlier demanded in writing that she leave, on recommendation of its ethics
committee,... but no response was heard from the ousted president.... during the ten days
she had to appeal,... which ended Thursday.
Park is currently in jail while on trial for bribery and other corruption charges.
Chairman Hong decided to make the decision for himself,... with the party's lawmakers
unable to reach a conclusion at a meeting earlier in the day.
However, there could be some conflict within the party,... with some pro-Park members saying
they cannot accept Hong's decision and demanding that the matter be put to vote.
Also, the party needs to decide whether to kick out two lawmakers known as Park loyalists.
The party will then likely move to revamp its image... with another task in mind.
(Standup) "Now that the conservative party has put an
end to its relationship with the former president,... there's speculation this could pave the way
for a merger with the splinter Bareun Party,... some members of which have demanded Park's
removal as a precondition.

on a swivel chair, which allows me to swivel.

Here we go, we're swivelling again.
Welcome aboard the suite
on Singapore Airlines A380.
The first thing you'll notice is
you have a whole storage unit,
it's almost like you're in a hotel.
You've got place for your luggage
so none of this overhead presses that
you typically do when you get on an airplane.
You've got quite a big mirror
to make sure you're looking good
before you land, you've got your slippers,
you got an extra blanket
because of course you already have a bed
with a blanket in there and overall
a really big closet space I would say.
So I'm on a swivel chair which allows me to
swivel to look out the window,
or at the TV, or at the bed,
so even though I have my own bed
I can't actually lay in it during
takeoff and landing I still have to
abide by regulation.
So this is the table where the meal would come.
Just look at how many buttons I have
right now next to my bed/chair.
There's also ambient lighting too.
This is for all my charging,
you've got your USB, you've got your
regular port for pretty much any charger.
But just in case you don't want to
have to sit up and touch the screen,
you also have your own tablet
which allows you to control the lighting,
control the media you're watching,
I presume you can call for
a flight attendant as well?
And then you have your whole
vanity station here,
so you've got quite a sizeable mirror
for an airplane and you can just
put your stuff here, you've got your
speakers and you literally can just
stand up and just sort of roam around,
you can sort of dance, you can do whatever,
you could stretch, some yoga,
you could do some yoga.
Thank you, I think we've just landed.
If the Suites are a little bit too
luxurious for you, you can always
go to business class.

This is the business class seat,
let's see if I can figure out how to
recline the chair, oh here we go.

So if you're traveling alone,
you have a wall here so you
have your own privacy which was
heavily requested in their research.
But if you're traveling with a friend,
this wall goes down like so,
kind of like a hotel room where
you can connect the doors.
But if you're traveling with family
or you're in a relationship,
this wall actually comes all the way down.
There you go.
You have to sort of sleep at an angle
instead of going straight through.
And you've got your privacy or not,
as we just discovered.
Sort of your remote that allows you to
watch all your media.
There's a lot of storage space,
this is where you could put your
passport, your wallet, your phone,
can kind of go in here.
Let's see what this is,
oh I don't think I was supposed to do that
and this here is actually mood lighting
and you can even control the TV,
on and off, from your panel.
So this airplane actually has an NFC reader,
say I'm shopping in duty-free
and I want to purchase something,
I can just use an NFC reader right here,
tap my credit card like this
and it's as simple as that.
It even has a vanity mirror right inside
the cabin so you can make sure
you're looking good right before you land.
Instead of putting your luggage overhead
this allows you to actually put it below you,
next to your feet which is quite nice,
so you don't have to even get up to get
your stuff in case you need something in there.
Although I quite like the
overhead press pre-flight.
Push for table.
Ah, there we go.
It's quite large, it's in fact, it's huge.
I think this is bigger than most areas
I have in an actual restaurant on a table,
so it's quite nice.
You can move almost any way you want it.
You also have elbow holders here.
So you can sort of relax your elbows like this.
Veg out and watch your movies
until you make landing.
