Brothers, before I end my speech,
I want to say a few things for the current government as well because I know they will listen to and take heed of my words.
I know they listen to us and try to understand what we say and what we intend to do.
This is an advice, an advice of what?
Before a destruction by Allah arrives and seizes the whole society,
this is a sincere advice from a Muslim for those tawagheet (false deities, false leaders...etc.) ruling the country.
First of all, I hope my Lord guides them to the right path,
saves them from this deviation and straying and makes us all brothers in Islam.
But if my Lord won't guide them to the right path, I hope He makes these words helpful for them.
We are the oppressed Muslims whose doors have been broken down,
whose houses have been raided at 5 in the morning,
whose bedroom privacy has been ignored,
whose houses have been bugged including their bedrooms and private lives
and then used as a blackmail at the general directorate of security,
who arbitrarily have been gathered and imprisoned in order to please tawagheet (i.e. false leaders) whenever they come to Turkey
and who have been in prisons for years without being interrogated.
We have no expectations of these tawagheet.
We will say, what we already said directly to them in their courts, here once again.
Whatever we expect is only from Allah the Lord of the worlds.
We don't expect any kind of favors, benefits or kindnesses from you;
yet we warn you.
Those who did injustice to us for 10 years
and oppressed us to have greater power and higher status,
when we gave advice to them, they responded:
''Hanzala khoja, we are the state now. We arrest and release whomever we want.
For 10 years, we are free from you because you will be behind bars while we are out.''
At that time, brothers, we said: ''Allah lets disbelievers to have peace and prosperity yet He does not do so for the unjust.''
If you do an injustice, remember that there is no screen between the invocation of the oppressed and Allah.
Every night at 3, we raise our hands to heaven and complain to Allah about you.
We say, ''O Allah, just as they oppressed us, destroy them at the hands of the oppressors.''
We say, ''O Allah, just as they left our children fatherless, leave their children fatherless.''
We say, ''O Allah, just as they left our women in tears, leave their women in tears.''
When we told them all these, brothers, they were laughing at us.
Yet today, they are imprisoned at the hands of other oppressors and the unjust.
Their children are crying, their women are shedding tears
and without being interrogated, they are waiting for the day when they will appear in court.
But, there is certainly a difference between us.
Allah (azza wa jalla) says in the Qur'an:
إِن تَكُونُواْ تَأْلَمُونَ فَإِنَّهُمْ يَأْلَمُونَ كَمَا تَأْلَمونَ
''If you are suffering hardships, then surely, they too are suffering hardships as you are suffering;''
There is a difference, though.
وَتَرْجُونَ مِنَ اللّهِ مَا لاَ يَرْجُونَ
''but you have a hope from Allah that for which they hope not.'' [An-Nisa, 4:104]
Whereas they are shedding tears in prisons now, we were then hoping for al-Firdaws (i.e. the highest part of Paradise).
Whereas they are writing letters of regret from the prisons now, we were then hoping that Allah would say to us in Paradise:
''Today I am pleased with you and I will never get angry with you.''
Whereas they are now telling their spouses and children, ''We are being oppressed here,
tweet on behalf of us and make it appear in the trending topics list,''
We were then telling our Muslim brothers, ''Be patient, Allah will open the doors, just as He did for those (believers) before us.''
Hardships we suffer on earth do no harm to us.
Those (sufferings) will meet us both in this world and the Hereafter in such a way that we will say:
''Praise be to Allah, He didn't make us those who lived in prosperity but rather He made us people of adversity and trial.''
Imam Tirmidhi narrates:
''On the Day of Judgement, when the people who were tried in this world are given their rewards,
the people who were pardoned in life, will wish that their skins had been cut off with scissors while they were in the world.''
They will utter these words upon seeing the favor and honor given to the people of trial by Allah.
Whatever I told you today brothers,
that day, I said all of them to the head of the anti-terror branch, to the prosecutor before whom I appeared
and to those in the court where I was tried.
Each time I spoke, a mocking smile appeared on their faces.
Each time I spoke, an expression of contempt appeared on their faces.
Each time I spoke, I felt as if I heard them saying:
''You keep talking. We are leading a coup pretty soon.
Our master is also coming here from Pennsylvania as the head of state just like Khomeini.
You are going to languish in prisons for years.''
Where are they now, brothers?
They are shedding tears like women.
Where are they now?
They are busy with complaining to tawagheet about Tayyip Erdogan.
Where are they now?
They are trying to lobby the officials around the world.
Where are they now?
They are busy with arguing and blaming each other in the prisons.
What about us, brothers?
We worship Allah as He wishes to be worshiped on His earth.
Praise be to Allah.
If Allah decrees,
If Allah decrees, we shall go to prisons again without any hesitation.
It makes no difference to us at the hands of which tyrant we are put into prisons.
Still, I want to address the government here.
Some people oppressed Muslims in order to please tawagheet around the world.
Allah (azza wa jalla) put them in the situation of the oppressed.
Now, some others, namely you, are treating them in the way they treated Muslims.
I swear by the Lord of the Kaaba that if you keep oppressing us,
Allah will return to you what you have done to us and make you suffer at the hands of others.
Because we believe in what Allah said:
وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ اللَّهَ غَافِلًا عَمَّا يَعْمَلُ الظَّالِمُونَ
''Do not think that Allah is unaware of what the unjust people do.''
إِنَّمَا يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ لِيَوْمٍ تَشْخَصُ فِيهِ الْأَبْصَارُ
''He only gives them a respite until the day when the eyes will stare in horror.'' [Ibrahim, 14:42]
مُهْطِعِينَ مُقْنِعِي رُءُوسِهِمْ لَا يَرْتَدُّ إِلَيْهِمْ طَرْفُهُمْ ۖ وَأَفْئِدَتُهُمْ هَوَاءٌ
''They will be hastening forward, their heads raised up,
their gaze returning not towards them and their hearts void (because of extreme fear).'' [Ibrahim, 14:43]
Brothers, at the beginning of my speech I recited from the surah al-Fajr about how Allah dealt with the tribes of 'Ad, Thamud and Pharaoh.
I am saying it to this government as well.
If you raid the houses of Muslims at 5 in the morning, invade their privacy and treat them unjustly
for the sake of pleasing the disbelievers (i.e. governments, authorities around the world) in your Syria policy,
I am telling you on behalf of Muslims that we are not in favor of chaos.
We are not in favor of rough and tumble.
We are calling people to Islam.
We don't hold guns to anybody's head.
We don't impose our ideas on anybody.
But if you do whatever the ones before you did to us,
I swear by Allah, we will complain to Allah the Lord of the worlds about you at 3 at night, when there is no screen between Him and us.
I have an absolute faith in that you also will be oppressed and treated unjustly by other wrongdoers as the price for your own injustice.
Get your heads screwed on the right way.
Get your heads screwed on the right way.
We have no guns to scare you.
We have no bombs to scare you.
We have no action plans to scare you.
But there is Allah, the One and the Subduer, for us to scare you.
And we scare you with Him, the One and the Subduer.
When the Prophet sent his companion Mu'adh to Yemen, he said even to him:
''O Mu'adh, be afraid from the curse of the oppressed,''
The people Prophet called ''oppressed'' were among the people of the Book, brothers.
''Since there is no screen between the invocation of the oppressed and Allah.''
There is no screen between our invocation and Allah.
So, do not drive us to complain to Allah, the One and the Subduer, about you.
Dear brothers, there is another issue I want to raise here.
The disbelievers, those in the ruling position, are doing their best to alienate Muslims from the society.
They want Muslims to be behind the locked doors, not to be in sight and act secretly
so that they will have a good reason to capture Muslims and treat them as an organization whenever they want.
The previous governments oppressed Muslims a lot.
We supposed that these would be more clever and wouldn't act so unjustly,
yet we have seen in a month that they have reopened all the case files that parallelists filed in 10 years
in an attempt to make Muslims go away, hide or carry on their businesses secretly.
A policeman asks a Muslim while taking his statement:
''So-and-so called you, said that they were going to a lecture and asked whether you were going with them.''
This is just an example.
''What lecture was it? What was the content of it? What were you doing there?''
Look here!
In whatever places we give lectures are known.
All issues we raise and explain are explicit.
We record and broadcast ourselves.
We have nothing to be afraid of and hide about our invitation and creed of Islam.
This call and creed began with Adam (peace be upon him) and will continue till the Day of Judgment.
There is nothing for us to be ashamed of, be afraid of or hide.
You are the ones who need to be afraid, ashamed and who need to hide the things they do.
Because you are the promoters of prostitution who run brothels and make a living with the taxes you receive from these places.
Because you are the gamblers who run gambling houses and make a living with the money you receive from these places.
Because you are the ones who give permission for the people like HDP to spread homosexuality, disbelief and blasphemy in the land,
who take part in their wrongdoing and misdeed by calling their activities as ''democratic'',
and who are regarded to be in the same position with them in the sight of Allah.
If there is someone who has to feel shame, it is the homosexuals.
If there is someone who has to feel shame, it is the pimps.
If there is someone who has to feel shame, it is the gamblers.
There is nothing for us to be ashamed of and conceal.
I am speaking on behalf of you all (Muslims).
We are disassociated from you and from whatever you worship other than Allah.
We firmly believe that you are the disbelievers.
An everlasting hatred and enmity has arisen between you and us
till you believe in Allah, the One and the Only, reject and disbelieve in any taghut (i.e. false deities) and stay among the Muslims on earth.
This is our Islamic creed.
This system of today is a taghut itself.
We are trying and will try to keep away from this system, as far as Allah lets us, with our children and families.
Do not arrest and ask us stupid questions like ''Do you send your children to school?''
We are not worshippers of the idols.
We are not among those hypocrites who make their children stand before the idol of Ataturk
and then come home and say, ''I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah.''
We believe that idolatry and tawheed (the oneness of Allah) never come together.
You do not give education to our children.
You turn them into the worshippers of idols.
Look through the goals and principles of the Ministry of National Education.
Look through the requirements of the Ministry of National Education.
You say, ''Our duty is to raise individuals who are secular, democratic and committed to the Constitution...''
Yet we regard this as a disbelief and idolatry.
And for that reason, we don't send our children to your schools.
We do not serve in your army.
Do not ask us stupid questions like ''Do you serve in the army?''
''Is the reason why you are not serving in the army because Al-Qaeda mentions so-and-so creed in so-and-so website?
Do not ask such stupid questions to us.
We do not serve in your army because:
الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا يُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا يُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ الطَّاغُوتِ
''Those who believe fight in the cause of Allah, and those who disbelieve fight in the cause of Taghut.'' [An-Nisa, 4:76]
Then, after calling you taghut, how on earth can we serve in your army?
We are not hypocrites.
Upon believing that you are taghut, in no way we serve in your army.
''Do you vote in elections?''
''Is there a connection between your refusing to vote and so-and-so leaflet released by Al-Qaeda in so-and-so website?''
I seek refuge in Allah.
We don't vote because the creation and the command belongs to Allah alone.
We believe in this.
We give the right of decision and judgment to our Creator.
We believe that you are pathetic beings who dare to resist the judgment and authority of Allah.
We believe that you are pathetic beings who dare to resist the judgment and authority of Allah.
Then, how on earth do you expect us to vote?
Do not ask this kind of questions to us.
Do not ask this kind of questions to us.
All prophets from Adam (peace be upon him) to Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) invited people to the same thing:
وَلَقَدْ بَعَثْنَا فِي كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ رَسُولًا أَنِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ وَاجْتَنِبُوا الطَّاغُوتَ
''We certainly sent into every nation a Messenger proclaiming: worship Allah and avoid Taghut.'' [An-Nahl, 16:36]
The fact that we avoid and stay away from you upon calling you taghut is not because of the creed of al-Qaeda,
or not because of the creed of ISIS,
or not because of the creed of Sayyid Qutb,
or not because of the creed of Ibn Taymiyyah,
or not because of the creed of Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab,
or neither is it because of the creed of Imam Ahmad.
This is the creed of all prophets and we are fulfilling the requirements of this creed.
Therefore, do not gather us once a year or once in every other year to ask us such stupid questions.
Don't trouble yourselves and don't trouble us either.
We proclaim our creed before the whole country, loud and clear.
There is nothing for us to be ashamed of and nor is there something to hide for us.
It is the pimps, gamblers and homosexuals who have to feel shame.
But when it comes to us, we are free from all traces of deceit and duplicity
and for this Islamic creed of us, we say: ''Praise be to Allah, we are Muslims.''
Allah is the Greatest.
Allah is the Greatest.
Allah is the Greatest.
There is none worthy of worship except Allah and He is the Greatest.
Allah is the Greatest.
To Allah all praise is due.
May our Lord gather us under the flag of the Prophet on the Day of Judgment just as he gathered us here.
May Allah bestow us His grace and let us die as Muslims just as He did by guiding us to Islam.
May our Lord send His help to all Muslims struggling for the sake of the religion of Allah in the east and the west of the world.
May Allah make our feet firm.
May Allah place affection and unity among our hearts.
May Allah cure the division and dispute among Muslims.
Just as our Lord made us feel joy and delight on today's feast,
may He also grant us other true feast days when the curse and groaning of the oppressed and the weak cease.
May Allah make us Muslims (submissive to Allah), live in accordance with Islam and let us die as Muslims.
O Allah accept it. All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.
And the last of our call will be: ''Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.''
I kept it a little bit long, brothers. Remit me of your right.
But you know, Muslims speak politics in the Feast Day and the Friday sermons.
The Prophet (peace and blessing be upon him) used to talk about all the issues concerning Muslims in the Feast Day and Friday sermons.
I gave this relatively long speech while you are all gathered here in order to both follow the practice of the Prophet and to make ourselves heard by a wider group of people.
I ask each of you to forgive me since I kept the speech long and made you wait under the glare of the sun.
May be the peace, mercy and blessing of Allah be with you.
