Eleven Difficulties Intuitive People Often Face
We've heard the terms many times, intuition or intuitive people.
When we do hear them, we usually think of feelings about things that come from the gut
without much rational thought process involved.
This is actually a pretty good description.
According to Myers-Briggs Description, An intuitive person pays attention to his or
her feelings and makes decisions based upon those.
S/he works more from overall impressions rather than details trusts impressions more and tries
to read between the lines.
Sometimes, the intuitive will look for solutions by jumping from one possibility to the next.
While A sensing person pays attention to information that is perceived through the five senses,
makes decisions and comes to conclusions based upon that information.
This person focuses on what is actually present and real.
She or he notices details like facts and data, and focuses on the practical.
When either personality trait is exhibited to an extreme, the person will have difficulty
navigating the real world.
Sensing people may make great accountants and techies, but if they do not have some
intuitive traits, they may have difficulty "reading" people.
Intuitives may "read" people and situations and see possibilities, but if they do not
have some rational thinking processes too, they have a tough time with practical things.
It is important to make a distinction here between intuitives and psychics.
Psychics state that they are intuitive to such an extreme that they can read other people's
minds, make predictions, find lost people and objects, etc.
Intuitives who are not stated psychics have the personality traits described before.
And those personality traits, while they have great value, can also bring difficulty in
both personal and professional life.
So, here are 11 Difficulties Intuitive People Often Face.
1 - They Can Be Dis-Organized
Intuitive people do not pay as much attention to detail as their sensing co-workers.
As a result, they may have messy offices and have difficulty finding things when they are
needed.
Disorganization can impact productivity.
2 - They Can Be Forgetful
Intuitives see the big picture.
As a result, they may forget meetings, deadlines, and other tasks.
It is really important that they keep a calendar and check it every day.
It also helps to have a co-worker who understands and who will remind them of what needs to
get accomplished.
3 - They May Have Problems Making Decisions
Because intuitives tend to see so many possibilities, they may leap from one to the other and not
be able to land on a definite path forward.
It helps to have sensing people on teams with intuitive people to help "ground" them.
On the other hand, trusting their guts may sometimes keep them from making mistakes.
4 - They May Be Over-Emotional
Intuitives rely on feelings.
Because of this, their feelings often show much more than those of other people.
They can be seen as over-emotional because of this, and co-workers and supervisors can
see this as a negative.
Sometimes, it will be important for intuitives to give themselves some alone time, to get
emotions back in check.
Periods of solitude also help the intuitive listen to their inner voices and unlock the
great potential that lies beneath those emotions.
5 - They Form First Impressions Quickly
Intuitive people often have a "sixth sense" about other people and will form an impression
within a few minutes of meeting them.
Sometimes, these impressions can be faulty though, and they may miss out on relationships
that can be very rewarding.
6 - They May Have Budgeting Problems
Budgets are real world things that are detailed and require careful thought and organization.
Intuitive people hate tasks like setting up budgets and often just don't do it.
This can lead to financial difficulties if they are not careful.
7 - They Don't Have Facts to Backup Opinions
People who rely on factual information for decision-making and problem-solving can become
frustrated with an intuitive who simply "knows" this is the right answer.
As a result, intuitives may not have receptive "ears."
8 - They May Be Impulsive
Because they tend to want to "go with their gut," intuitives may make impulsive decisions.
When their "gut" is spot on, this is great; sometimes, though, it is not.
9 - They May Overreact
Personal relationships are based upon emotions, and intuitives respond deeply to other people.
Because of this, they may overreact when they feel slighted or hurt.
That emotional reaction may not allow them to get things in perspective the way a more
sensing person would.
10 - They May Harm Friendships
Because of their intuitive feelings, they can blurt out things that may upset friends
and family.
For example, an intuitive may say to a friend, "I don't see your relationship with John
lasting.
You'll be breaking up soon."
This is not what that friend wants to hear, of course.
11 - They Can Misinterpret Those Gut Feelings
Sometimes gut feelings, such as anxiety about a situation, can be interpreted as that situation
being a bad thing.
This is not necessarily the case.
Sometimes, that anxiety is simply because a situation is new, and the intuitive is struggling
for the right response.
They can then miss a great opportunity.
Despite all of the difficulties that intuitive people face, they have many strengths and
talents to bring to the table both in the workplace and in personal relationships.
They are willing to dive in to help; they often are the ones with creative solutions
because they have not over-thought the options; and when their energy is positive, it is contagious.
As Albert Einstein one said:
The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant.
We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.

Improve Your Organic Reach And Engagement After The Latest Algorithm Change - Duration: 10:03.
Hello everyone and thank you for joining me for this short and sweet
Facebook live. I should be with you around five minutes and I just wanted to
share with you a couple of the things that I've done this year to change up
the way I'm using Facebook, my Facebook business page and the results that I've
had because of that. This of course is because I am running a workshop on the
6th of February spiderworking.com/algorithmbuster where
we'll go into more detail about how you can still get reach and engagement after
the changes with the algorithm and how you can effectively use Facebook Ads. But
today I'm giving you some stuff for free and really, I wanted to tell your story
because just before Christmas I sat down or I'd stood up in front of a class and
I told them that I thought Facebook reach was dead.
There's no point anymore, it was dead, look somewhere else. And that's the first
time I'd done that because I've always been quite enamored with Facebook. I made
a sale within the first week of setting up my first Facebook page so it's always
been a big believer in it and here I was saying no no! Facebook reach is dead. But
then Christmas came and I sat down and I relaxed and over Christmas I started
looking at Facebook from a personal point of view and I suddenly realized
that actually I was doing stuff wrong on my facebook page and that's what I want
to talk about today. I'm just going to switch over to my slide show which
hopefully you'll be able to see there. This is just an example of my Facebook
reach so the one at the top there, just bearing in mind I have around two and a
half thousand I think people on my page, if if that but
here you on the top you can see the reach that I was getting in December and
I was running an advertising campaign for a workshop and an e-book I was doing
and whenever you plow a bit of money into your Facebook page you will
increase your organic reach as well that happens automatically so you can see
there was a big spike when I was advertising and then kind of either side
of that that's a flat line. Whereas when I started my new strategy in January the
bottom one here that's where I've been getting increasingly good and pretty
steady organic reach. You can see the dark orange bit is the bit I paid for
and this this month I think I've spent about five or six euro so not big money
on advertising yet I am still getting the organic reach and I'm still getting
it today. The algorithm has changed and I am still getting that reach and that's
because I made one big change. Just in case you want to have a look quickly
at my organic reach, let me just move on to that. If you click when you go into
your statistics on Facebook and click on organic you can see your average for
the last period. So this was 30 days this was my December 30 days you can see
compared to the last period I've gone down to an average reach of 277 even
with all that advertising. Looking at January my posts on average a
reaching 507 of my audience which is a massive leap up and that is not to do
with advertising, that's because I've changed my strategy. So the big thing, the
one big thing that I've changed is that I remembered it's not about me it's about
her. It's about my customer. I was putting out regular content that
I thought would be helpful, thought might appeal to my customer but
I'd forgotten to really engage them. The one thing that occurred to me was
that groups work really well. Facebook groups work really well. Do you see that?
You know you're getting a good reach with your Facebook groups so I decided
to start using my Facebook page like I used my groups and that was my big
revelation. I changed up the content I was putting up and what I got was
you can see on the left this is a screen grab at the actual statistics on my post
and that my first well one of them was just a quirky question for my audience
who I know are mostly working from home at their businesses small business
owners and the big question I had it
was kind of a little conversational question about working in
your dressing-gown and you can see I almost reached a thousand people with
that post. That's a good chunk of my audience, I got a lot of comments, I
got a lot of reactions it was a great conversation starter and that's what you
need to be looking at, you need to think of conversation starters and not just
something that you think up on the fly. Do try and spend a little bit
of time tapping into the questions your audience will want to answer.
Secondly [I see this question from Klara there I will answer you in a second Klara]
the second one there from MyKidsTime just to prove I'm not the
only one doing it. The interesting thing about these is they break the
rules. You know any Facebook expert will tell you that just the plain text update
doesn't work. Well here you go, they totally do work. I would encourage using
emojis there though I do think with a bit of color it works. Oh just gone
backwards instead of forwards. The second one then is to give back. So
that's another thing, you know we should be talking about our audience not about
ourselves so of course we're looking at asking them to share their stuff. So from
my point of view for business to business, let's connect with you on
Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook. Can you show me your Facebook page? I might get loads of
comments on this and it also helped me get to know my audience better I'm not just
being generous following you on Twitter. I want to know about you, I want to know
about your business, I want to know how I can serve you better with the content I
produce. On the right hand side again just prove it's not just me doing
it it's from Pet Sitters Ireland. Again, look it's just the text update they
put some emojis in there and they asked people to share a picture of their
pet. Of course don't we all love sharing pictures of our pets? Then
being helpful is big. Healthy Living, the health food shop in my town here in Aty
do an excellent job on Facebook and you can see if they share regular videos with text
on the top they had fun emojis I think they.. I can't remember the name of the
app they use and these always get great traction as well.
She's a great presenter, she's really good in the camera and the nice thing
about this is it's not a professional video. It's shot in the shop with a phone.
It's a little bit wobbly the sound is not
brilliant but it gives you great information they always get great
traction and of course if you follow my page you'll know I'm always sharing
video tips. There's one, I'm giving you a video tip right now. That sort of
thing, again you'll get great traction from. Being eye-catching, you know a simple
post that says happy Friday would normally not do so well, you know I get
tired of post post but what I like about the way MyKidsTime are doing it, they
always have an amazing photo, they always get a ton of shares on those posts. So
it's not the fact that it says happy Friday, it's the eye catching image that
does it. I have to say that I'm always stunned by the Hook Lighthouse page who
are sharing amazing, amazing videos all the time. You know when there's a storm
and there's a lighthouse you have great stuff to share. Look
at that 4.2 thousand views just on a bit of traction of a storm and some sea.
Finally ask for help, asking for help is important too. I'm doing a series of
videos on Facebook advertising to make sure I know that I'm actually
giving you the things that you want, that you're actually getting the answers to
the questions you have, I put out a question. Again a text update with emojis
to capture attention. I got great traction. I got 20
comments on the post and the shares of the post which for some reason
aren't showing up there so that was hugely successful for me. And again, just
to show it's not just me doing this stuff, love this post from Lorna Sixamith
where she shows you she has the first calf the year what should she call
it? Obviously she's got a lot of traction on that post. And finally, go
live. That's what I'm doing now I can see I've had six or five people watching
live, I know we're going to pick up a few more later but it is absolutely the best
way to reach people. Look at this, I've reached more people with this
Facebook live that I'm showing you here than I actually have liking my page.
I got 885 video views which is fantastic 107 reactions comments and shares.
You can't just go live on anything, you've got to have a plan and that's

I want to put aside my story about moving to Australia.
I have a very different story that i want to share with you.
It's actually about my private life.
New year is coming as you can understand from the tree behind me.
But we couldn't wait until then to give each other presents.

I'm really curious to see where my roots come from.
This is the question that we ask each other the most in Turkey.
"Where are you really from?"
I'm from Izmir (Turkey) on my father's side and from Ankara (Turkey) on my mother's side.
But my father thinks that his roots come from the Balkans (Albania) and my mother thinks her roots come from Iran.
But there isn't any proof.
I never ever had an answer.
People always ask each other where they are really from. This question is so popular in Turkey.
And the answer is usually "I was born in this city but i'm actually Circassian".
"I was born in that city but i'm actually Kurdish".
Or "I actually came from the Balkans".
But I never had anything to say.
Let's see what my answer ıs going to be?
There are two swobs and two small tubes inside of the box.

If I had to guess where I am from before I receive the results...

I'm going to see now whether my guess was right or wrong. We are going to see together.

Can people escape from their DNA?!
Even if it sounds like utopia for now.
Can people escape from the reality of borderless world in the distant future?
Which will make us just one and only earthling.
It's weird but awesome.
