Waching daily Feb 15 2018

The terrifying Hellrasier saga, surrounding Pinhead and his nefarious band of Cenobites,

continues in Hellraiser: Judgment with more puzzle boxes, hapless victims, and, of course,

a few trips to 55 Ludovico Place.

This time, there's a serial slayer on the loose in the earthly realm, doling out justice

for various violations of the Ten Commandments as some sort of sick scheme to win God's favor.

Meanwhile, Pinhead and his pals have been exacting their own brand of justice in Hell

— and when the two worlds collide, well, there's you-know-what to pay.

"Evil seeks evil."

Let's take a look at how the story draws everything together and sets up the next round of hell-raising.

Harsh judgment

Pinhead's new right-hand man - er, thing - is the most interesting addition to the film.

Called the Auditor, this slashed-face baddie begins the process of eternal judgment on

Pinhead's behalf.

"I'm a man for whom pain is nothing more than a common currency."

Naturally, this is all very gross for everyone involved.

After the Auditor types up a human's confession, another sidekick called the Assessor chows

down on the pages and regurgitates them up for a trio of jurors, who rifle through the

contents and then render their verdict.

Punishment then begins with a disgusting saliva bath before the subject is sent to the Butcher

and the Surgeon for some key rearrangements.

So, yeah, it's foul in every imaginable way.

And whoever ends up at the Cotton House is in for quite an unpleasant surprise.

Unless...

Detective with a dark side

At first, we're led to believe that Detective Sean Carter is just a man who's far too into

his job of hunting down serial killers.

He comes home late to his angry wife, can't seem to stay away from work, and is even being

investigated by the case's newest pair of eyes.

Detective Christine Edgerton is here to help, but she also believes he might be suffering

PTSD from his war service and maybe dabbling in drugs or alcohol.

His brother David, who is somehow his partner in crime-fighting, thinks he's a rational

and good person and gladly follows him down whatever rabbit hole his investigations take

them through.

By the end of the film, however, we find out that looks have been very deceiving when it

comes to Sean.

"It is a terrible ponderous chain you are making."

He's actually the one who's taken on the mantle of righteous death-dealer, slaughtering people

who run afoul of the Ten Commandments in pretty much any way, shape, or form.

Between him underlining the same Charles Dickens quotes from the crime scenes to his obsession

with Ecclesiastes, which roughly translates to the very name of the man they're after,

he implicates himself pretty well along the way.

"What was it he said, only God can judge me.

God'll judge the righteous."

And his crimes are unspeakable.

He saws off the hands, eyeballs, and teeth of some teens while they're still alive simply

because they'd committed petty theft; he surgically implants a woman's womb with her still-living

dog because she says in a phone video that she worships the animal.

It's so bad that even the Assessor can't stomach the taste of his confessions.

And yet he manages to escape Judgment — twice — because of a demand from on high.

The powers that be

It seems like Pinhead holds the ultimate authority over how the guilty are treated in his domain.

But when the archangel Jophiel shows up and insists that David be sent back to Earth to

finish his "work" — which, at first, we think is just solid policing — Pinhead's

team has no choice but to concede.

"Do you understand who is in charge?

Just let him go."

Pinhead still sends his stitch twins along to haunt his nightmares, but he mostly steers

clear of Sean.

After Sean brings himself back to Pinhead's realm again, though, in hopes of trading his

brother and wife for his own soul being cleared, Pinhead and his Auditor refuse to bargain

with him or Jophiel.

They're ready to move on to the punishment phase… and chaining Sean's brother and wife

up to a state of eternal suffering won't satisfy their bloodlust.

Jophiel wants him to be sent back to Earth to carry on with his Commandment slaughters

so more people will turn to the Almighty for protection.

This makes Sean believe his plan is falling into place, but Jophiel informs him that he's

not getting any absolution out of this arrangement.

He'll still be Pinhead's property after it's all said and done, but she just wants to buy

him more time for his bad deeding.

The trouble is, Pinhead's grown wary of blindly obeying Jophiel's demands.

The final judgment

At first, Pinhead obliges Jophiel's request to return Sean to the living so he can score

the good side some souls.

But when Sean regains consciousness, he's immediately waxed by Detective Edgerton, who's

now figured out he's the big bad they've been looking for.

Sean's instant demise puts him back in Pinhead's clutches, for good this time— and that angers

Jophiel, who threatens to bring down the wrath of her boss for his insolence.

Pinhead decides he's got nothing to lose, though.

He's already in Hell and was basically built to endure such suffering, so how much worse

could it get for him?

Not only does he ignore her warnings, Pinhead also proceeds to throw the angel into his

chains and lets them rip her to shreds.

Even the Auditor knows his boss has made a massive mistake.

As he points out, Jophiel was the angel who banished Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden,

and if she could do it to them, she could do something similar to Pinhead.

Just as all those he's judged have awoken to the harsh consequences of their mistakes,

the last scene finds a humanized version of Pinhead banished from his realm of "sweet

suffering" and sent to the mortal realm.

Meanwhile, the post-credits scene opens up the door for the Auditor to take over altogether,

as he's shown in Hanover, Germany, welcoming two unsuspecting missionaries into his lethal

lair.

"Two.

And it isn't even a Tuesday."

PUBG (PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS) vs. Fortnite (Accessibility Edition) - Duration: 6:13.

[pencil scratching]

[Pokemon game sound]

Hello and welcome back.

This week's topic on this channel is gaming.

The previous video on Monday that I did was all about PUBG and my experience

playing it for the first time as a deaf woman, so if you are interested

in that, I'll have the link and a card up here

as well as the description box down below.

But for this video, I am actually going to compare Fortnite and PUBG

and talk about their accessibility features.

Well, they're not really accessibility features, but it's just- bear with me here.

We're going to be talking about which is, in my opinion,

for me personally, more accessible.

Also, if you want to look at the video that I did strictly on Fortnite,

I will also have that link and a card [indistinct] and in the description box.

I have played Fortnite both without headphones

that was kind of the profoundly 100% profoundly deaf edition of Fortnite

and I have also been playing it, since I've been back in North Carolina

and have had access to good headphones, I've been playing it with sound.

And PUBG, I've only played it Sunday and that was with headphones.

Non-accessibility-wise, personally, I don't know what game I really prefer.

I feel like because I'm so used to Fortnite at the moment

and I'm just used to it, I've played it, I know it, I think I might

like Fortnite a little bit better, but in some ways I prefer PUBG.

Like, PUBG is a more realistic version and I like the way that it looks.

However, it is more... I don't know if I want to say difficult,

but you do put a lot more work into PUBG

because you're starting with...you got to go find a backpack for more stuff

and you can upgrade your gun,

whereas with Fortnite everything is just right there.

So, your weapon, it's all made, there you go, boom.

Of course, Fortnite is a little more cartoony.

It looks more like it's made for kids.

But hey, that doesn't matter to me. That stuff is not an issue to me.

Now, accessibility-wise, for me personally,

I feel like when I can hear something in both of these games,

Fortnite still takes the win because with PUBG,

if someone is shooting, I can't see them and I cannot really hear what

direction it's coming from and sometimes I can't even hear anything at all.

However, with Fortnite I seem to be able to hear most of the sounds.

In Fortnite I can't hear the chest,

I'm never going to be able to hear the chest.

It has that harmonious, very high-pitched angel singing,

which is not something that I can hear at all and will likely never hear,

so that's something on Fortnite... That just doesn't work for me.

So with PUBG, if someone is faraway or maybe to my left or whatever

and I'm looking around and I'm rotating,

trying to find this person and getting an idea where they might be,

I have nothing to let me know where they might be.

And that's what makes it a more interesting game than Fortnite,

which likely somebody is going to be building in Fortnite

because they're trying to get high, they're trying to get highER,

in the air, get that height advantage.

If I'm hearing a sound, if I'm hearing a shot, a very loose sound of a shot,

I can still look and I'm going to get an idea of where they are -

like are they north-west? - because I might see somebody building.

That's a little bit of an accessibility advantage

to me personally or anyone who is deaf that is playing the game.

And some things that I can hear on PUBG,

like when the red zone is happening,

if I'm getting too close to the red zone but I'm doing something else

and I'm too distracted to look at the map to see where it is,

if I'm getting too close, I can hear the bombs dropping,

I can't hear the difference between a car and a plane,

so that's a little nerve-racking, but I think at the end of the day,

if you hear something, you get into position

and get out of the way regardless.

Also, I think that visually, Fortnite is a little bit easier.

Now, I cannot speak for anyone who may be visually impaired playing this game,

but when I'm relying on my eyes

you can't really see a whole lot with PUBG

because there's camo and all of that.

Fortnite has camo, yes, but everything is so saturated,

it's so colourful, and something can be the opposite on the colour wheel

and then you'll be able to notice if someone is doing a little something.

If I recall correctly, Fortnite has subtitles

and I have them turned on, but I've never seen subtitles, come up.

I'm actually wondering if that is a Battle Royale

or if that's the Save The World thing and not the Battle Royale thing,

but don't quote me.

I don't have the Save The World

because I'm waiting for it to become free to play later on in 2018.

All you suckers that paid for it already. Ha!

With PUBG, I've no idea if there are any subtitles,

but I can't imagine, just like with Fortnite, I can't imagine there

being a reason for subtitles on PUBG because nobody is doing any talking.

Unless a bomb drops down and the subtitles pop up

and then go "bomb dropping".

But I've never seen subtitles pop up,

so I'm not really sure why they are an option.

I'm glad they are an option. Captioning advocate over here.

But I just haven't really seen why that is there.

Overall, I think that's pretty much it that I can say about that right now.

I feel like the games are kind of so simple that there's not really

that much accommodation that is needed besides maybe working subtitles.

If you want to ask me which game I prefer, I'm still so used to Fortnite

that I think I prefer that a little bit more right now,

but I prefer the way that PUBG looks

and I like that it can make the game a little more interesting.

I understand why people have their personal preference, so...

So that's my opinion on the accessibility stuff

and the personal stuff.

If you are a player of both Fortnite and PUBG and you have

your own opinion on which is better, leave them down in the comments.

Before I go, if you like my work

and you want to support any work that I do,

I do have a Patreon and a Tip Jar Ko-fi link

which I will have listed down below in the pinned comment,

as well as the description box.

Don't forget to check out my website rikkipoynter.com

in case you want to book me for any speaking engagement

or any kind of business thing in general really.

I'll have that link down below as well.

And I will see you later. Bye.

THE ILLUSION OF REALITY - Duration: 23:27.

THE ILLUSION OF REALITY

BY Dr. Richard Alan Miller

The Mandela Effect, and Memory A new internet meme, related to confabulation,

is known as the Mandela Effect.

This is a situation where a number of people have memories that are different from available

evidence.

The term was coined by Fiona Broome, who says she, and other people, remember Nelson Mandela

dying in the 1980s, rather than in 2013.

She argues that common memories which appear mistaken could be explained by the existence

of parallel universes that are able to interact with each other.

A common thread of discussion regarding this effect is misremembering the Berenstain

Bears being spelled as, Berenstein Bears.

The Mandela Effect is named after South African anti-apartheid revolutionary Nelson

Mandela, who became a topic of interest in the year 2010 by people noticing with surprise

that he was alive at that timesince many people remembered him having died while incarcerated.

Observations of dead people alive again are just one of many types of Mandela Effects,

with other notable examples including changes to song lyrics, movie dialogue, movie scenes,

physical geography, physiological anatomy, and product names.

The Mandela Effect is one of those things most people wont believe in until it happens

to them.

Like falling in love or going through heartbreak, the Mandela Effect is something you have to

experience in order to fully embrace.

And even then, it often takes more than one or two experiences to break through the resistance

most of us have to accepting the existence of something that fundamentally challenges

our unspoken foundational assumption that facts and historical events dont change.

When we encounter something indicating evidence that in fact, history has changedit feels

shocking to discover some of the lines have been canceled and washed out!

We seem to be approaching tipping point where its getting harder for scoffers to

say theres no such thing as the Mandela Effect / reality shifts / alternate histories.

Some scoffers have leapt to the conclusion that Mandela Effect experiencers who are noticing

long- familiar words in movies, TV shows, books, and products are most likely suddenly

sharing false memories, due to the fact that human memories are not fully reliable.

When we consider the matter of confabulation and false recollections at this dawning

of the new Quantum Age, we see that we may eventually call such things alternate recollections,

in recognition of awareness of the fact that we know that each and every one of us exists

in a superimposed state, with access to many possible alternate histories, presents, and

futures.

The idea that the many worlds of quantum physics might be one and the same as the multiverse

has been proposed by such esteemed physicists as Dr Yasunori Nomura and Dr Raphael Bousso

of UC Berkeley, and increasing numbers of scientists are feeling optimistic that we

might yet find evidence that we indeed live in a multiverse.

Matrix Simulation The whole idea that we are living in a simulation

(which is another explanation for the Mandela effect) has been becoming mainstream.

A Bank of America Merrill Lynch report from September suggested that there was a 20 percent

to 50 percent chance we are living in a simulated virtual world.

Many people in Silicon Valley have become obsessed with the simulation hypothesis, the

argument that what we experience as reality is in fact fabricated in a computer.

This idea has gained traction in recent years with the advancement of artificial intelligence

(AI) technologies.

If you assume any rate of improvement at all, then games will become indistinguishable

from reality. Elon Musk

Earlier this year, Elon Musk said that theres a billion to one chance were living

in base reality, suggesting that the billionaire thinks the odds are that we are living in

a computer simulation.

He argues that some technology is becoming indistinguishable from real life.

READ: Books by Dr. Richard Alan Miller Timelines There are no multiple time lines

being created when we choose one choice over another.

Scientists have been discussing the possibility of alternate timelines running simultaneously

with the one we currently experience.

Some have even suggested that when we choose one option over another, we have left multiple

timelines in action that are running on all the other choices we could have made.

The known universe is both frugal and precise in its application.

It appears to use basic structures in multiple applications in order to create itself.

As a result we find basic geometry (such as tetrahedron, the circle, the square, the triangle,

etc.), as the breakdown components of the structures of life.

The choices we make in everyday life is a simple matter of going into the field of all

possibilities, which exists in wave form only, and collapsing our choice into particle form

thus adding to the time line we are experiencing now.

All the choices that we collapse from wave to particle remain as an ongoing record hence

the formation of what we refer to as Akashic records.

Our future choices or time line, personal and collective, is being formed by the sheer

volume of the energy generated out of our previous and current choices.

We collectively confirm our physical reality (the furniture, the trees, our stuff of everyday

life) on an ongoing basis, so it continues to exist in time with us based on a principle

of mass.

If we personally and/or collectively (all inclusive in the greater cosmic sense) agree

that any part of this reality taken by military dark ops suggests that many attempts to create

alternate timelines has been undertaken but have not been successful.

These attempts can only fail as the full-on energetic mass required to propel a timeline

forward is unattainable without all sentient beings here on Earth participating.

Here is the spoiler alert.

Because we have free will we can make choices outside of all the mind control attempts.

This is why those who think they have control struggle so hard to limit our choices as this

is the only way that they can ensure future outcomes of their own design.

It creates a major interference pattern when we individually or collectively collapse the

wave form of all possibilities into a reality other than the one they have chosen for us.

This whole discussion around multiple time lines created out of the

no longer serves us and we discontinue feeding it any further energy (thought) it diminishes

in kinetic mass and becomes a component of static information.

An example of this is our past life history, the events remain as a record of collapsed

waves to particles in time but can only be reactivated in the present experience of time

through triggers or choice.

It has not been running alongside of us in another time line as it is only static particle

energy.

The other choices that we did not make remain in wave form only and do not construct other

timelines in of themselves.

Not excluding the possibility that other worlds, organisms, or creations that we are not aware

of that may exist in the third dimension are creating their own time lines.

The greater possibility is that they most certainly are.

What is challenging is that timelines are not created out of the choices we did not

make.

This then leads to comment on the possible attempts at creating alternate timelines for

us unsuspecting folks here on earth.

Revelations of possible actions being misconception and a diversion intended to mitigate our understanding

of how powerful we really are in manifesting the time equation.

The rest is just mind clutter.

It is only a question of what we choose out of the field of all possibilities and collapse

into the current manifesting timeline.

Continuing to collapse the wave form of our greater inspired choices will create an energetic

mass equivalent that will manifest for us in current time.

Consciousness Lives in Quantum State after Death

The Ba and Ka of Ancient Egypt Dr Robert Crookall, a geologist, became a well-respected

investigator with his book Out of the Body Experiences (1961).

He advanced a theory linking astral projection to survival.

He agreed with Professor Hart (others) that the survival of the human personality after

death was nothing more than permanent projection of the astral body.

He saw various degrees of projection involving two distinct portions of the human psyche.

One, was conscious but immaterial, and had some objective existence.

In OBE either or both of these portions may be projected.

Dr Crookalls beliefs have some interesting parallels in the Ba and Ka concepts of the

ancient Egyptians.

They believed that the Ka was a double of the individual and that it was composed

of very tenuous matter.

It was supposed to live for some time after death and both the process of embalming and

various funerary practices were intended to ensure that it lived on in the tomb.

If the required practices were neglected the Ka was thought to emerge from the tomb to

haunt those responsible.

The Ba and Ka of Ancient Egypt The Ba was the soul of the Egyptians.

It was conscious but immaterial.

In life it was contained within the Ka.

In death it left both the Ka and the body.

There is some scientific evidence to support this concept.

Dr Duncan McDougall of Haverhill, MA arranged to have dying patients placed on a sensitive

weighing apparatus.

He found that there was a weight loss of from 2.0 to 2.5 ounces at the moment of death.

The data could not be explained except in terms of something having left the body.

Two Dutch Physicists, Dr J.L.W.P.

Matla and Dr G.L. Zaalberg Van Zelst report similar observations and data.

They further reported that the proposed astral body appears to have a specific weight

of 12.24 mg., that it responds to gravitation, and that it appears to be composed of particles

that are small, heavy, but very widely separated.

How the human consciousness lives on after death We man not know exactly what consciousness

is, but British physicist Sir Roger Penrose believes that its just a packet of information

stored at a quantum or sub-atomic level.

He claims to have found evidence that this information, which is stored in microtubules

within human cells, leaves the body after a person dies.

Penrose has argued that when a person dies, temporarily, this quantum information is released

into the universe, only to return to the bodys cells if the host is brought back to life.

He argues that this explains why people can have near-death experiences, and believes

that this quantum information amounts to a soul leaving the body.

If the patient dies, its possible that this quantum information can exist outside

the body, perhaps indefinitely, as a soul.

And Sir Roger is not alone in believing this, since his theory is backed by researchers

at the renowned Max Planck Institute for Physics in Munich.

Experts there argue that our physical universe is just a perception, and that once our bodies

die there is an infinite life beyond.

What we consider the here and now, this world; it is actually just the material level that

is comprehensible.

The beyond is an infinite reality that is much bigger.

The body dies but the spiritual quantum field continues.

In this way, I am immortal

Testimonials from prominent physics researchers from institutions such as Cambridge University,

Princeton University, and the Max Planck Institute for Physics in Munich claim that quantum mechanics

predicts some version of life after death. They assert that a person may possess a body-soul

duality that is an extension of the wave-particle duality of subatomic particles.

Wave-particle duality, a fundamental concept of quantum mechanics, proposes that elementary

particles, such as photons and electrons, possess the properties of both particles and

waves.

These physicists claim that they can possibly extend this theory to the soul-body dichotomy.

If there is a quantum code for all things, living and dead, then there is an existence

after death (speaking in purely physical terms).

Just as a particle writes all of its information on its wave function, the brain

is the tangible floppy disk on which we save our data, and this data is then uploaded

into the spiritual quantum field.

Continuing with this analogy, when we die the body, or the physical disk, is gone, but

our consciousness, or the data on the computer, lives on.

It is consciousness that creates the material universe, not the other way around. ~Dr

Hans-Peter Durr

Biocentrism In his book Biocentrism: How Life and Consciousness Are the Keys to Understanding

the Nature of the Universe, Dr Robert Lanza proposes the notion that life does not end

when the body dies, and it can last forever.

Biocentrism teaches that life and consciousness are fundamental to the universe.

Lanza points to the structure of the universe itself, and that the laws, forces, and constants

of the universe appear to be fine-tuned for life, implying intelligence existed prior

to matter.

He also claims that space and time are not objects or things, but rather tools of our

animal understanding.

Lanza says that we carry space and time around with us like turtles with shells. meaning

that when the shell comes off (space and time), we still exist.

The theory implies that death of consciousness simply does not exist.

Dr. Robert Lanza was selected for the 2014 TIME 100 list of the hundred most influential

people in the world.(www.robertlanza.com) It only exists as a thought because people

identify themselves with their body.

They believe that the body is going to perish, sooner or later, thinking their consciousness

will disappear too.

If the body generates consciousness, then consciousness dies when the body dies.

But if the body receives consciousness in the same way that a cable box receives satellite

signals, then of course consciousness does not end at the death of the physical vehicle.

In fact, consciousness exists outside of constraints of time and space.

It is able to be anywhere: in the human body and outside of it.

In other words, it is non-local in the same sense that quantum objects are non-local.

Lanza also believes that multiple universes can exist simultaneously.

In one universe, the body can be dead.

And in another it continues to exist, absorbing consciousness which migrated into this universe.

This means that a dead person while traveling through the same tunnel ends up not in hell

or in heaven, but in a similar world he or she once inhabited, but this time alive.

And so on, infinitely.

Its almost like a cosmic Russian doll afterlife effect.

This hope-instilling, but extremely controversial theory by Lanza has many unwitting supporters,

not just mere mortals who want to live forever, but also some well-known scientists.

These are the physicists and astrophysicists who tend to agree with existence of parallel

worlds and who suggest the possibility of multiple universes.

The Multiverse The Multiverse (multi-universe) is a so-called

scientific concept, which states that no physical laws exist which would prohibit the existence

of parallel worlds.

The first suggestion of this concept was put forth by science fiction writer H.G. Wells

who proclaimed in his 1895 story, The Door in the Wall.

And after 62 years, this idea was developed by Dr Hugh Everett, in his graduate thesis

at the Princeton University.

It basically posits that at any given moment the universe divides into countless similar

instances.

The Nature of Choice, as a gift from God And the next moment, these newborn universes

split in a similar fashion.

In some of these worlds you may be present: reading this article in one universe, or watching

TV in another.

The triggering factor for these multiplying worlds is our actions, explained Everett.

If we make some choices, instantly one universe splits into two with different versions

of outcomes. ~Dr. Hugh Everett

In the 1980s, Andrei Linde, scientist from the Lebedevs Institute of physics, developed

the theory of multiple universes.

He is now a professor at Stanford University.

Space consists of many inflating spheres, which give rise to similar spheres, and those,

in turn, produce spheres in even greater numbers, and so on to infinity.

In the universe, they are spaced apart.

They are not aware of each others existence.

But they represent parts of the same physical universe.

The fact that our universe is not alone is supported by data received from the Planck

space telescope.

Using the data, scientists have created the most accurate map of the microwave background,

the so-called cosmic relic background radiation, which has remained since the inception of

our universe.

They also found that the universe has a lot of dark recesses represented by some holes

and extensive gaps.

Theoretical physicist Laura Mersini-Houghton from the North Carolina University with her

colleagues argue: the anomalies of the microwave background exist due to the fact that our

universe is influenced by other universes existing nearby.

And holes and gaps are a direct result of attacks on us by neighboring universes.

The Nature of the Soul So, there is abundance of places or other

universes where our soul could migrate after death, according to the theory of neo-biocentrism.

But does the soul exist?

Is there any scientific theory of consciousness that could accommodate such a claim?

According to Dr. Stuart Hameroff, a near-death experience happens when the quantum information

that inhabits the nervous system leaves the body and dissipates into the universe.

Contrary to materialistic accounts of consciousness, Hameroff offers an alternative explanation

of consciousness that can perhaps appeal to both the rational scientific mind and personal

intuitions.

Consciousness resides, according to Stuart and British physicist Sir Roger Penrose, in

the microtubules of the brain cells, which are the primary sites of quantum processing.

Upon death, this information is released from your body, meaning that your consciousness

goes with it.

They have argued that our experience of consciousness is the result of quantum gravity effects in

these microtubules, a theory which they dubbed orchestrated objective reduction (Orch-OR).

Consciousness, or at least proto-consciousness is theorized by them to be a fundamental property

of the universe, present even at the first moment of the universe during the Big Bang.

In one such scheme proto-conscious experience is a basic property of physical reality accessible

to a quantum process associated with brain activity.

Our souls are in fact constructed from the very fabric of the universe and may have

existed since the beginning of time.

Our brains are just receivers and amplifiers for the proto-consciousness that is intrinsic

to the fabric of space-time.

So is there really a part of your consciousness that is non-material and will live on after

the death of your physical body?

Dr Hameroff told the Science Channels Through the Wormhole documentary

Lets say the heart stops beating, the blood stops flowing, the microtubules lose their

quantum state.

The quantum information within the microtubules is not destroyed, it cant be destroyed,

it just distributes and dissipates to the universe at large.

Robert Lanza would add here that not only does it exist in the universe, it exists perhaps

in another universe.

If the patient is resuscitated, revived, this quantum information can go back into the microtubules

and the patient says I had a near death experience.

If theyre not revived, and the patient dies, its possible that this quantum information

can exist outside the body, perhaps indefinitely, as a soul.

This account of quantum consciousness explains things like near-death experiences, astral

projection, out-of-body experiences, and even reincarnation without needing to appeal to

religious ideology.

Dreams and the Multiverse In this world there could be a copy of yourself

making different decisions and seeing places that somehow later manifest themselves in

your dreams.

For thousands of years people have wondered about the meaning of dreams.

Why do some people dream about future events?

Why are some dreams full of hidden meaning?

The energy of your consciousness potentially gets recycled back into a different body at

some point, and in the mean time it exists outside of the physical body on some other

level of reality, and possibly in another universe.

Can some of our dreams be glimpses of events taking place in an alternate reality, a parallel

Universe?

Our ancestors were as curious about dreams as modern scientists are today.

Ancient Greeks and Romans believed dreams provided messages from the gods.

In ancient China people treated dreams as a way to visit the world of dead.

Ancient Egyptians were convinced that those who could interpret dream possessed special

powers.

Many Native American tribes and Mexican civilizations believed dreams were a different world we

visit when we sleep.

The word dream comes from an old word in English that means joy and music.

Today we know that dreams are often expressions of thoughts, feelings and events that pass

through our mind while we are sleeping.

When we ask a profound question about the nature of reality, do we not expect an answer

that sounds strange?

Evolution provided us with intuition for the everyday physics that had survival value for

our distant ancestors, so whenever we venture beyond the everyday world, we should expect

it to seem bizarre.

Top 5 Things You Shouldn't Do On Your Phone – Part 2 - Duration: 3:23.

In this fast-passed world phones have become an essential part of our everyday lives.

But sometimes we dont take care of them as well l as we should.

There are actually a lot of things we straight out shouldn't be doing with our phones and

that what were going to be talking about today.

Hey youtube im Court McGinley and welcome back to the most amazing top 5.

You guys loved part one so much that we are bringing you a part 2.

Before we get started I want to know- how many phones have you gone through in your

lifetime- I think for me its been like 5 or 6- I had one flip phone- 2 black berries and

2 or 3 iPhones.

But one good thing is I never lost a phone they just stopped working.

Let me know your answers down in those comments.

Also I just want you to subscribe to this channel if you havnt already and make sure

you show us some love by giving this video a big thumbs up.

Alright lets get started on our list of the top 5 things you should stop doing with your

phone part 2.

Starting off at our number 5 spot --Procrastinating on updating- yeah im one of those.

For some reason I just really hate updating my phone.

The update notices are always popping up when im busy doing something else.

But it turns out its extremely important you don't procrastinate on this as OS updates

are an important factor in keeping your phone running smoothly.

It only takes a few minutes for the New OS to download.

The longer you wait to update it your phone will be vulnerable to malware or other security

breaches.

In at number 4--Running it down- are you one of those people who needs to charge your phone

every night because you've been on it all day and now its down to 1% ? well if you are

then you need to get out of that habit of running your phone down on a daily basis.

There are a lot of ways you are killing your battery that youre probably unaware of.

The way you can check out whats responsible for using up most of your battery is by going

to your phones battery button under settings.

Youll probably be surprised at what applications are using up all youre battery.

One sure fire way to save battery is by dimming your screen.

Its important just to do the little things you can to save that battery.

At number 3--Using cheap chargers- The chargers that come with our phones are tested by experts

and they are the best at optimizing your phones charge perfectly without damaging the battery.

The cheap chargers on the other hand may cause severe problems.

Experts say- A poor design can suffer severe problems.

If the output voltage is not filtered well there will be noise and spikes due to the

high frequency switching.

At extreme levels this could damage your phone.

So even if something happens to the original charger or you loose it – it seems like

the best choice to cough up the extra money to buy the store brands charger opposed to

a 5 dollar one.

Coming in at our number 2 spot--Random connections- one thing a lot of us do that we shouldn't

is connecting to random wifi spots- such as coffee shops- libraries- basically anywhere

that offers public internet.

Most places offer password protected wifi- and those are ok to use.

But you should never login to a place that doesn't require a password.

Hackers can pretty much watch what youre doing online if they have access to an unencrypted

WiFi source.

As soon as youre on unencrypted wifi youre personal information is at risk.

And in at number 1--Using Geotags- Now while geo tags are a lot of fun- you can show your

friends and family where you are and they can share in on the fun.

They can also be very dangerous to your personal safety.

By using geotags some of your apps might fall into geotag default mode- allowing anyone

to figure out where you are.

So if youre a fan of geo-tags you should rethink them as you never know who could be watching.

Sometimes I post my location but I always make sure its when im close to leaving or

ive left- especially if its in a more secluded location.

Cyber criminals are known for exploiting geotags and they research the best time to strike.

So just make sure yourve very careful.

And there you have it that's out list of the top 5 things you should stop doing with

your phone part 2.

Thank you guys so much for watching and ill catch you in the next one.

TRIATHLON Training for WEIGHT LOSS Pt. 4: Best Fat Burning Food Choices - Duration: 8:55.

- Hey, what's up trainiacs?

Triathlon Taren here and today's daily triathalon video

we are talking about the fourth and final topic

in this series of videos where I talk about

if you are a triathlete, like I was eight, nine years ago,

trying to incorporate triathalon into my lifestyle

to make a change, live more healthy and, in that,

lose a little bit of weight,

we're talking about my favorite foods

for healthy weight loss, favorite supplements I use

and foods that you should avoid.

(upbeat music)

So, if you haven't done it yet, accompanying

this four part video series is a free download

that you can get by going to traithalontaren.com

forward slash weight loss.

By entering your email address you will get all

of the information that we've put into these videos

and more with a lot more structure in

how to actually implement the exact nuts and bolts

that we're going to talk about here.

So let's start off today by talking about supplements.

And quite frankly, a lot of them are a rip off,

for a few reasons.

Number one, they're often in doses that are

so high that our bodies can't possibly absorb that much,

and secondly, in pill form, supplements are often very hard

to digest so even though we're actually consuming

those minerals, vitamins, whatever we're taking in,

we might not necessarily be absorbing it nearly

as well as if we had just eaten it with food.

There's also risks any time that you're taking a supplement

that isn't in normal levels that our body is used

to taking in by way of food, it risks,

sure, maybe topping up zinc for instance,

I don't know why I'm picking on zinc,

zinc has always been nice to me,

but if you're topping up to really hight levels

with one vitamin or supplement, odds are really good

that it's gonna throw off something else.

So it does come with those risks.

And finally, fat burners, being a guy that lost a bunch

of weight back in the day through body building,

which I thought was healthy, I know all about fat burners,

and I'm gonna be honest with you.

They're crap.

They are pure crap.

In most cases, they are essentially just uppers

that are gonna make you feel really fidgety

and because you feel fidgety you're gonna be like,

"I feel great.

Let's go work out.

I'm gonna lost a ton of weight.

I am burnin a candle at both ends.

I'm flying here, folks."

It's not right.

You get the same thing if you just drink five

to ten cups of coffee in a lot of cases.

So I approach supplements, not as a thing

that you need to take all the time.

Basically I take them in instances

where I know I'm deficient in something.

So right now, in Winnipeg,

we basically don't have sun touching our skin

for four/five months a year.

Basically 98% of Winnipegers are vitamin D deficient

over the course of the winter,

so I supplement with vitamin D.

Come summer, I don't worry about it.

Now, let's get to foods that promote fat loss

and encourage losing weight.

If you're here for a magic bullet

of eat this food you're gonna lost weight,

this is the magic weight loss food,

you're in the wrong place.

We are trainiacs.

We like the hard work.

We are dedicated and we will do what's necessary

to do it right.

So these foods are more about consistency

and easy swaps that you can make

that are going to encourage weight loss

as a part of overall health and, specifically, in a way

that doesn't feel like dieting, because in my experience,

if it feels like dieting you're gonna feel deprived,

it's gonna be temporary because you're always gonna have

that in the back of your head

that this is not how I normally eat

and it's not how I wanna be eating,

so you can't continue eating that way.

Here you go.

Water.

Drink a lot of it.

It helps flush out excess calories, excess food waste,

all of the gunk that builds up from all of the training.

It helps flush out your system

and in a healthy way it helps you work

through getting things that shouldn't be in our body out.

And quite often a feeling of hunger

is actually a feeling of dehydration.

So, if you feel very peckish at certain times,

try pounding a huge glass of water.

That might end up quenching your hunger.

Next thing, early in the morning when you're already

in a fat burning state when you first wake up,

I talked about this in the first video,

as opposed to having oatmeal, cereal, toast,

carbs that your body is going to very quickly say,

"alright, I'm gonna start burning carbs,

I don't need to burn any of this fat that Taren has."

What you can do is have a fat and protein based shake

that I talked about in the first video

of this series and is available in that email download.

And it's going to keep your body in a fat burning mode,

as opposed to slamming yourself with carbs,

and all of a sudden kicking your body out of burning fat.

Then at the end of the night the same sort

of principal applies.

About three to four hours from bedtime,

you should be backing off the amount

of calories that you eat.

If you, like me, like having a little bit

of something in your stomach to be able to get to sleep,

sleep is very important for weight loss,

I find that having a nut butter, a sunflower seed butter,

an almond butter, something like that just

to settle your stomach, is way better than a bunch of carbs.

If you have a bunch of carbs right before bed,

those carbs have about two hours

to burn through your system.

If they don't burn through your system, you're body says,

"kay, you know what, maybe I'll hang on to these carbs

and store them right here or in Taren's love handles

for later just in case we run into any rough patches."

Nut butters, on the other hand, take about four to six hours

to digest so it's a much longer burn

and you're less likely to gain weight.

If you really wanna lose weight,

compress the amount of calories

that you have throughout the course of a day

into a shorter eating window and in

that email series I talk about

how you can calculate the exact amount of calories

that you should be having to lose weight.

So making sure that you do have enough in

that shorter eating window.

But a lot of cyclists and runners will not eat past, say,

seven or eight o'clock.

They'll actually start getting themselves

into a fat burning mode before they even go to bed.

Next, some things that you really need

to avoid are, like, the easy hidden liquid calories.

These are creamers and things in your coffee.

These are salad dressings that are bought from the store

that have tons of sugar in em.

These are things like, I'm sorry,

ketchup and barbecue sauce lovers,

but, essentially, you're hooked on sugar eatin those.

These are pops, which are probably about as dangerous,

I would say, as cigarettes.

Ah, that might be a little extreme, but they are really bad.

Diet drinks, surprisingly, have actually been associated

with more weight gain than typical pops.

And that says a lot because typical pops...

Ya, like, you're takin it on their son.

And this could be about a five hour video,

but in that email series I try

to lay out the benefits, specifically, of veganism,

keto dieting, paleo dieting,

how they all have really good premises

and you can take little bits of it

to create an overall diet

that doesn't feel like you're on a restriction diet,

but you're just on a survival diet, in a good sort of way.

And then, you are looking at sustainable weight loss

that doesn't feel like you're depriving yourself

of anything, it doesn't feel like you're always on a diet

and you're restricting things.

It just becomes part of your lifestyle

that you don't even think about.

And you can cheat a little bit.

You can have pizza occasionally.

You can have a...

Last night I have a cookie and a cupcake for dessert.

If you understand where everything fits in,

the timing of things, the amount of things that you can eat,

it's all going to be so much more enjoyable

than a really restrictive diet.

And you just need to follow some very basic principles

that you can find at traithlontaren.com

forward slash weight loss.

I think, and I hope, that this has helped a lot of you,

as it helped me.

And like I said, disclaimer, I'm not a nutritionist,

I'm not a doctor, I'm just playing one on the internet.

The Anti-Federalist Papers | John DeWitt 2 - Duration: 14:12.

To the Free Citizens of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

In my last address upon the proceedings of the Federal Convention I endeavored to convince

you of the importance of the subject, that it required a cool, dispassionate examination,

and a thorough investigation, previous to its adoption — that it was not a mere revision

and amendment of our first Confederation, but a compleat System for the future government

of the United States, and I may now add in preference to, and in exclusion of, all others

heretofore adopted.

— It is not TEMPORARY, but in its nature, PERPETUAL.

— It is not designed that you shall be annually called, either to revise, correct, or renew

it; but, that your posterity shall grow up under, and be governed by it, as well as ourselves.

— It is not so capable of alterations as you would at the first reading suppose; and

I venture to assert, it never can be, unless by force of arms.

The fifth article in the proceedings, it is true, expressly provides for an alteration

under certain conditions, whenever "it shall be ratified by the Legislatures of three fourths

of the several States, or by Conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other

mode of ratification may be proposed by Congress."

— Notwithstanding which, such are the "heterogeneous materials from which this System was formed,"

such is the difference of interest, different manners, and different local prejudices, in

the different parts of the United States, that to obtain that majority of three fourths

to any one single alteration, essentially affecting this or any other State, amounts

to an absolute impossibility.

The conduct of the Delegates in dissolving the Convention, plainly speaks this language,

and no other.

— Their sentiments in their Letter to his Excellency the President of Congress are — That

this Constitution was the result of a spirit of amity — that the parties came together

disposed to concede as much as possible each to the other — that mutual concessions and

compromises did, in fact, take place, and all those which could, consistent with the

peculiarity of their political situation.

Their dissolution enforces the same sentiment, by confining you to the alternative of taking

or refusing their doings in the gross.

In this view, who is there to be found among us, who can seriously assert, that this Constitution,

after ratification and being practiced upon, will be so easy of alteration?

Where is the probability that a future Convention, in any future day, will be found possessed

of a greater spirit of amity and mutual concession than the present?

Where is the probability that three fourths of the States in that Convention, or three

fourths of the Legislatures of the different States, whose interests differ scarcely in

nothing short of every thing, will be so very ready or willing materially to change any

part of this System, which shall be to the emolument of an individual State only?

No, my fellow-citizens, as you are now obliged to take it in the whole, so you must hereafter

administer it in whole, without the prospect of change, unless by again reverting to, a

state of Nature, which will be ever opposed with success by those who approve of the Government

in being.

That the want of a Bill of Rights to accompany this proposed System, is a solid objection

to it, provided there is nothing exceptionable in the System itself, I do not assert.

— If, however, there is at any time, a propriety in having one, it would not have been amiss

here.

A people, entering into society, surrender such a part of their natural rights, as shall

be necessary for the existence of that society.

They are so precious in themselves, that they would never be parted with, did not the preservation

of the remainder require it.

They are entrusted in the hands of those, who are very willing to receive them, who

are naturally fond of exercising of them, and whose passions are always striving to

make a bad use of them.

— They are conveyed by a written compact, expressing those which are given up, and the

mode in which those reserved shall be secured.

Language is so easy of explanation, and so difficult is it by words to convey exact ideas,

that the party to be governed cannot be too explicit.

The line cannot be drawn with too much precision and accuracy.

The necessity of this accuracy and this precision encreases in proportion to the greatness of

the sacrifice and the numbers who make it.

— That a Constitution for the United States does not require a Bill of Rights, when it

is considered, that a Constitution for an individual State would, I cannot conceive.

— The difference between them is only in the numbers of the parties concerned they

are both a compact between the Governors and Governed the letter of which must be adhered

to in discussing their powers.

That which is not expressly granted, is of course retained.

The Compact itself is a recital upon paper of that proportion of the subject's natural

rights, intended to be parted with, for the benefit of adverting to it in case of dispute.

Miserable indeed would be the situation of those individual States who have not prefixed

to their Constitutions a Bill of Rights, if, as a very respectable, learned Gentleman at

the Southward observes, "the People, when they established the powers of legislation

under their separate Governments, invested their Representatives with every right and

authority which they did not, in explicit terms, reserve; and therefore upon every question,

respecting the jurisdiction of the House of Assembly, if the Frame of Government is silent,

the jurisdiction of the House of Assembly, if the Frame of Government is silent, the

jurisdiction is efficient and complete."

In other words, those powers which the people by their Constitutions expressly give them;

they enjoy by positive grant, and those remaining ones, which they never meant to give them,

and which the Constitutions say nothing about, they enjoy by tacit implication, so that by

one means and by the other, they became possessed of the whole.

— This doctrine is but poorly calculated for the meridian of America, where the nature

of compact, the mode of construing them, and the principles upon which society is founded,

are so accurately known and universally diffused.

That insatiable thirst for unconditional controul over our fellow-creatures, and the facility

of sounds to convey essentially different ideas, produced the first Bill of Rights ever

prefixed to a Frame of Government.

The people, although fully sensible that they reserved every tittle of power they did not

expressly grant away, yet afraid that the words made use of, to express those rights

so granted might convey more than they originally intended, they chose at the same moment to

express in different language those rights which the agreement did not include, and which

they never designed to part with, endeavoring thereby to prevent any cause for future altercation

and the intrusion into society of that doctrine of tacit implication which has been the favorite

theme of every tyrant from the origin of all governments to the present day.

The proceedings of the Convention are now handed to you by your Legislature, and the

second Wednesday in January is appointed for your final answer.

To enable you to give that with propriety; that your future reflections may produce peace,

however opposed the present issue of your present conduct may be to your present expectations,

you must determine, that, in order to support with dignity the Federal Union, it is proper

and fit, that the present Confederation shall be annihilated: — That the future Congress

of the United States shall be armed with the powers of Legislation, Judgment and Execution.

— That annual elections in this Congress shall not be known, and the most powerful

body, the Senate, in which a due proportion of representation is not preserved, and in

which the smallest State has equal weight with the largest, be the longest in duration:

— That it is not necessary for the public good, that persons habituated to the exercise

of power should ever be reminded from whence they derive it, by a return to the station

of private citizens, but that they shall at all times at the expiration of the term for

which they were elected to an office, be capable of immediate re-election to that same office:

— That you will hereafter risk the probability of having the Chief Executive Branch chosen

from among you; and that it is wholly indifferent, both to you and your children after you, whether

this future Government shall be administered within the territories of your own State,

or at the distance of four thousand miles from them.

— You must also determine, that they shall have the exclusive power of imposts and the

duties on imports and exports, the power of laying excises and other duties, and the additional

power of laying internal taxes upon your lands, your goods, your chattels, as well as your

persons at their sovereign pleasure: — That the produce of these several funds shall be

appropriated to the use of the United States, and collected by their own officers, armed

with a military force, if a civil aid should not prove sufficient: — that the power of

organizing, arming and disciplining the militia shall be lodged in them, and this through

fear that they shall not be sufficiently attentive to keeping so respectable a body of men as

the yeomanry of this Commonwealth, compleatly armed, organized and disciplined; they shall

have also the power of raising, supporting and establishing a standing army in time of

peace in your several towns, and I see not why in your several houses: — That should

an insurrection or an invasion, however small, take place, in Georgia, the extremity of the

Continent, it is highly expedient they should have the power of suspending the writ of Habeas

Corpus in Massachusetts, and as long as they shall judge the public safety requires it:

— You must also say, that your present Supreme Judicial Court shall be an Inferior Court

to a Continental Court, which is to be inferior to the Supreme Court of the United States:

— that from an undue bias which they are supposed to have for the citizens of their

own States, they shall not be competent to determine title to your real estate, disputes

which may arise upon a protested Bill of Exchange, a simple note of hand, or book debt, wherein

your citizens shall be unfortunately involved with disputes of such or any other kind, with

citizens either of other States or foreign States: In all such cases they shall have

a right to carry their causes to the Supreme Court of the United States, whether for delay

only or vexation; however distant from the place of your abode, or inconsistent with

your circumstances: — That such appeals shall be extended to matters of fact as well

as law, and a trial of the cause by jury you shall not have a right to insist upon.

— In short, my fellow-citizens, previous to a capacity of giving a complete answer

to these proceedings, you must determine that the Constitution of your Commonwealth, which

is instructive, beautiful and consistent in practice, which has been justly admired in

Europe, as a model of perfection, and which the present Convention have affected to imitate,

a Constitution which is especially calculated for your territory, and is made conformable

to your genius, your habits, the mode of holding your estates, and your particular interests,

shall be reduced in its powers to those of a City Corporation: — The skeleton of it

may remain, but its vital principle shall be transferred to the new Government: Nay,

you must go still further, and agree to invest the new Congress with powers, which you have

yet thought proper to withhold from your own present Government.

— All these, and more, which are contained in the proceedings of the Federal Convention,

may be highly proper and necessary.

— In this overturn of all individual governments, in this new-fashioned set of ideas, and in

this total dereliction of those sentiments which animated us in 1775, the Political Salvation

of the United States may be very deeply interested, but BE CAUTIOUS.
