Yeah, man. It's been a while. I've been watching you blow up.

I mean, so many people were fans of yours from The Night...

fans of yours from The Night Of.

Uh, many people were fans of yours,

seeing you in so many different movies.

You've played so many different roles.

And now you're in Venom playing a character

that I did not like as a human being for the first time.

Right. Thank you. Cheers.

Right. What...? Did you enjoy it?

You know, I did, actually.

I feel like, um, you know,

I never thought I'd be in a movie like this, to be honest.

-Right. -You know, you grow up watching films like this.

You don't necessarily see people who look like me in 'em.

So it felt like a great moment for me personally.

And, you know, you get to play with all the toys

and all these great actors, and, um...

And I also... I think Venom's quite like a timely story.

-Right. -In lots of ways.

In what way?

Well, it's like about an American guy

who gets invaded by a giant P.O.C. alien, and, um...

(laughter)

And, like, to begin with...

Well, read the comics.

It's a fact. It's a fact.

And to begin with, he tries to get rid of him,

but then he realizes he can't really live

-without him. -Right, right.

So, uh, you know, it's kind of...

-There's something in there. I mean, yeah. -I...

You know what I find interesting is the idea

behind the character and what you're saying.

You know, when you're growing up,

you watch these movies, and...

I know, specifically, like, you know, characters

who are either of Middle Eastern or South Asian descent

always saw themselves as, like, one thing,

and that was, like, Bad Guy Number Four,

Terrorist Number Seven, right?

But here you are in a movie where you're playing a character

who's this wild billionaire

who thinks he should be king of the world, right?

Very unrealistic character that we cannot see in real life.

-(laughter) -But... but you're playing this character.

(applause and cheering)

And jokes aside, what is great is,

you're playing a character that is a star of a movie,

in a Marvel film, as well, and you look the way you look,

which is a powerful thing when you think of, like,

the journey that-that you've gone through.

When you look at diversity,

and when you look at representation,

how do you... how do you work towards one of the two?

Are they as important to you as the other?

Like, it's such a difficult discussion

to have right now in Hollywood.

-How do you deal with it? -Yeah, you know, it's interesting

in a way, 'cause I was thinking about this,

and we were talking about this backstage is, like,

um, it's kind of weird that it's even thing.

Right? It's weird that it's remarkable at all

that I should be able to play a range of different characters.

If you think about it, that's the basis of acting itself.

The basis of acting is, I could be you and you could be me,

it's just the circumstances are slightly different, right?

Emotionally, we're all the same.

So it's just weird, if you think about it,

that certain people's faces or experiences are seen

as universally relatable, and other people's aren't.

Um, but it's obviously not true, otherwise, you know,

you wouldn't have... you wouldn't be able to be moved

by any art that wasn't about anyone, you know...

anyone else.

So, um, so, I mean, that's my take on that.

But in terms of diversity and representation,

I don't like to talk about diversity.

-I feel like it sounds like an added extra. -Right.

It sounds like the fries not the burger.

-(laughter) -You know, it sounds like

something on the side-- you've got your main thing going on,

and you had to sprinkle a little bit of diversity on top of that.

-(laughter) -And... that's not what it's about for me.

It's about representation, and representation is

absolutely fundamental in terms of what we expect

from our culture and from our politics.

You know, we all want to feel represented,

we want to feel seen and heard and valued.

So I prefer to talk about representation.

-You've done a great job of that... Yeah. -(applause)

-(cheering) -You've, um...

You've done a really great job

of playing so many different characters on screen,

just as an actor.

Like, you've gone for such a diverse set of roles,

you know, that challenge you in different ways.

What I didn't always know about you

is that you are also a rapper.

-Like, like, an MC. -Right.

And, like, for real for real, not, like, like, as a gimmick.

-(laughter) -No, genuinely. 'Cause, like,

some people go like, "Eh, rapping is, like, a joke."

But no, really, serious. We've actually got a clip

Now, that-that song comes from a body of work

that is powerful, because you speak

not just about what's happening in the world,

but what has happened to you as a person. Right?

There's... one of my favorite songs is, um, "9/11 Blues."

-Right. Thank you. -Tell us what "9/11 Blues" is about.

Well, yeah, I mean, um, that track's called "Mogambo."

It's the track that just came out yesterday, actually.

And, um, you know, the message for that song is, um,

I guess there's been a through-line to my work,

and in "Mogambo," I'm saying it most explicitly

than I've ever said it, which is that, you know,

we're living at a time where I said a lot of people

are feeling unheard and unvalued and just unwanted.

-Mm-hmm. -And, really, the message of this song is,

yeah, some people might not want us here,

but we're not going anywhere.

You know what I mean? We're here to stay.

Um, we're part of this place, and if you really want

to get into it, let's talk about who built these societies.

You know, empire built Britain.

You know, this country was built on the backs of people

who are trying, you know, people are trying to exclude

-those people from power now. -Right.

Um, so, it's really a kind of... I just felt sick

of feeling so depressed, man.

I felt, I just felt so, like,

sick and tired of feeling despair,

and I said I-I wanted to make something defiant.

So I describe this track as a kind of middle finger

-that you can dance to kind of thing. -I like that.

-Yeah. -A middle finger that you can dance to. I like that.

-Yeah. Um... But, but... -(cheers and applause)

The story behind that first track you're talking about,

-"Post 9/11," that was my first rap song that I recorded. -Yeah.

And it got banned, um, as soon as I released it,

which, uh, thank you for banning it,

'cause it was so much free promotion for that track.

It was amazing. Thank you.

But, you know, deejays started e-mailing me,

saying, feel like, you know, we're living in

a politically sensitive environment

we can't play this track.

And, um, it was really just making fun

of the post-9/11 circus of fear,

this really kind of extravagant, cartoonish,

you know, bogeyman kind of narrative

that we had going on about Muslims.

Um, but, yeah, I wrote it

because the first film that I acted in,

it won an award at Berlin Film Festival,

we got on a plane, we're all celebrating,

landed back in the U.K., and as soon as we landed,

we got detained by British Intelligence officers.

And they, like, took me into this side room.

And I was like, "Wow, this shit's real," you know.

And they, uh, and they put me in one of these arm locks,

and they were like, "Did you become an actor

to further the Muslim's struggle?"

And I was like, "No, I became an actor to get girls,

but it didn't work, 'cause..."

(laughter)

You know.

(cheers and applause)

It didn't work.

But it was... It was weird because I--

Yeah, this wasn't the kind of kink I had in mind,

-you know what I mean? -Right.

You putting me in an arm lock isn't what I was aiming for.

And I just thought this is such a crazy, crazy situation,

you know, being intimidated like that

because you're just acting,

you're just expressing yourself.

And, um, and I thought, you know, I'm gonna make

a kind of joke rap song about it, you know.

So that's what I did.

You've been amazing at expressing yourself.

You are someone who is outspoken in a time when a lot of people

are like, "I-I don't want to get involved in the politics."

And that's something that you're really passionate about

as a human being.

-Brexit is something that's huge... -Don't you...?

But I wanted to ask you, don't you feel, I mean--

I just think what you do, by the way,

is just incredible, man.

I think you're such an important voice, the stuff you say,

-the way you say it -Oh, thank you. I appreciate that.

-is incredible, man. It's incredible. -Thank you.

-I appreciate that. -(cheers and applause)

It really is. It's inspiring to watch.

You get up here every night and you do this.

And I just kind of think, like, I don't know if you feel this,

but it's not like you chose politics.

If you're born into a certain body

in a certain place and time, politics chooses you.

-Oh, yeah, you can't escape it. -Exactly.

-Right. -So, you know, when I'm making rap songs,

I'm not trying to make political songs.

They're very personal songs.

This is one person's personal songwriting

would be about their dad hiring a limo for them to go to prom.

-Right. (laughs) -And mine is about, you know,

-the gloves coming on at airport security. -Right.

You know? That's my Friday night.

So it's just, it's just coming from a personal place, you know.

It's a personal place, you deliver it well.

the deals that we have lost and I call one of those customers so I called them

up and I say hi just curious why didn't you guys go with us. Guy goes I don't know

what you're talking about we actually did buy from you my own sales manager

had his own company on the side and he would take an order for us and he

started another company with a similar name and it was taking those orders

fulfilling them and cashing the checks the minute you hired the first employee

you got to be careful. I've had people do horrible things to me in business

people that work for me, competitors, everybody

you've got to look out for yourself.

You can choose your insurance plan from 3 different options.

I chose only one of them.

It was around 30-33 $ a day

including insurance.

It was quite a good deal, I think.

But again, you have to pay all if you go alone.

when you add oil price, ......

for 7 weeks, I rode over 11,000km.

I only drove 1,000km before this

and I drove 11,00km in the US LOL

CLICK PLC High Speed Inputs: Setup for High Speed Counting for Single Input - Duration: 3:25.

Setting up High speed inputs can often be intimidating, but with CLICK it becomes just

another simple function.

This video shows how to setup a single input on a CLICK PLC for High speed counting.

To use High speed inputs on CLICK, you must have a CLICK CPU that supports Ethernet and

has DC inputs.

High speed counting is not supported on units that have AC inputs.

You must have CLICK Programming software 2.30 or higher and update the firmware to match

this software.

I have an NPN inductive prox, that meets the voltage requirements of the CLICK PLC.

I wire the output of the sensor to X1, and since this is an NPN prox, I place the positive

24 volts DC positive to the C1 common.

To start the setup, select the Function Tab in the navigation pane.

Select here on High speed input setup.

This display really makes the difference.

It shows you exactly what each function does.

Just check the graphic and then select the button that says, "Use this mode".

We are setting up counting so select here.

First, give this function a name, and then select the register where this total count

will be stored.

I am going to use DD1.

This is a signed double integer so the range on this address will be

To select single input select either up or down count.

I will choose up count.

We need to assign the input for this function.

Select here.

Select X1.

This will allow you to increment the count when the input turns on, rising edge, or as

it turns off, falling edge.

Here are your reset options and I am going to assign the Internal coil C1.

And when that bit turns on it will reset the count to zero.

If you use an internal coil realize the timing of the reset will be dependent upon the scan

time of the CPU The next option allows you to enable count

or disable the count based upon the status of this bit.

You can also define a preset table here.

This will turn on outputs or call an interrupt program when the count reaches certain values.

This is complete independent upon the scan time of the CPU and can be very useful in

certain high-speed operations.

For this video I will forgo this optional setup.

So I will go back and accept all the setup.

Press Ok.

And now you will see your single input encoder function assigned here.

Press Ok.

And now you will see all of the registers that are assigned to this function here.

Let's load this project into our CPU and test the counts.

Open a Data View.

Add my reset bit and enable bit.

And then my count Enable the count by double clicking here.

And start the input pulses.

It was just that simple.

So, no need to be intimidated by High Speed Inputs, anymore.

Just another way that CLICK makes advanced simple.

So a few things I have to highlight on this video that you're about to watch

the first thing this video was done at my house and

We were having a trash cleanup day

So it was done at my house. So it was not at a client's house

The work that I did was fairly unconventional

But we're gonna get to it. It's so I should have totally cleaned stuff up before I started I didn't

about halfway through my wife came out and obviously moved some of the

More fragile things in that but you'll see it on time out. So we were having a clean-up day

So I was not just to address any further things. I was not littering. This was not a Home Depot parking lot type thing

So we're having a clean-up day. So anyways, those are just a few things

I wanted to highlight but let's get to today's video today is demo day and I'm super excited because this is my main tool

Right here as uh as Chuck Gaines says demo day is the best day ever and so for today's job

I'm gonna be showcasing some a few different tools here

I'm gonna be using mainly the stuff sent to me by Pro for show

I've made a review on these particular earmuffs before they also send me some safety glasses

Which these safety glasses are pretty cool cuz I got like this cool strap on them

So it's like, you know you go they don't pull off, you know to mean they're pretty I'm pretty dang tight

I think they're cool. Also. Another thing I like about them is

These rubber things that go around your nose like so you're not like having like hard plastic on your nose the whole day. So

anyways, we're gonna get to uh,

We're gonna get this some demo

We got a clean up day going on in our neighborhood and you want to get rid of this whole shelf here. So

We're gonna get going on that

All right, I think you're having a little too much fun here just bust this thing up

All right now it's cleanup time

Okay, that probably wasn't the most conventional way to demo something but what we got going on here

I need to remove this header here and

then remove some of this wood that's here on the ground because we're gonna get a new a

Storage unit that'll go. That'll go right here and just be a whole lot better

This is the storage that I'm also gonna remove that thing right there

But this is the storage that I guess the previous homeowner built in here. Just not very practical

We need one that kind of goes to the ceiling right here

I don't really need a workbench which what it was because I got that portable workbench our

Garage here is just a mess right now

We need to get that storage unit up here get everything up on there

And I think that that will allow a lot better space here in the garage. So that's what we're working on

I still need to you know, remove a few of this wood stuff here and this guy up here. So let's get to it

Okay, well I'd say we'd made one heck of a mess here

so we gotta kind of get all this cleaned up and then we're gonna go to store and get one of those storage racks and

Then try and put this garage back together, but we're doing pretty good. These profile show glasses seem pretty good Pro for show

I just really I just watched some of the footage from when I tore this thing apart it in the footage before I

Totally didn't clean anything up

Like there was like our luggage and stuff was there while I was demolishing that thing but but anyways

We got it all got it all out of here, and we got some new storage racks

Just uh, however you say that a whale in storage unit from Costco Costco had quite a quite a few different

Models of this stuff but we decided to go with this one. We feel like it's a pretty sturdy one

We're gonna mount it to the wall

We got one here

We're gonna put one, you know

we got one other so we're gonna put it here and then I'm thinking we might put a third one over there and as you

Can see our garage is absolutely horrible

It's been this is kind of the whole process and the whole thing that we're doing trying to you know

Make a better usable space here. And that's that was the whole thought of getting rid of this work Finch

That was right here. This was all just one workbench. And so we're trying to put more storage in

I don't really need a workbench because I got that portable workbench, but we're gonna get installing another one of these Whalen

storage units here and then we're gonna try and get some of this stuff cleaned up and then

Check back in and see what see what this stuff looks like, but let's get to it

Okay, I got my mainframe assembled word to the wise what I learned building

the other one was uh

So whole I better kind of build the mainframe first

Last time I built all the shelves on the bottom and then I built all the shelves on the top

Separately, and then I was like trying to set the top on the bottom and it was just horrible

But building it this way is way better it weren't. Otherwise anyone who's ever building one like this, okay

We made some pretty good progress so far. I can actually walk in the garage now

It's not not too bad, but we still got a little bit over here to do

But yeah

We got the main bulk of the the showing put up and I I don't really think we're gonna need to put up any more

Shows I think that's kind of that's probably enough. Okay, I think we're all done for the day

There's still a little bit more to do but let me show you guys so

We got two of these shelves installed as you see there's still more room

To be had on those shelves and you can actually like walk and there's a bunch of room for activities in here

Which is pretty awesome

so this all this stuff here is like baby stuff that needs to I think well this thing is we're giving it back to my

Sister that baby thing we're selling this is other baby stuff. That's a bigger car seat. So we got a lot of stuff

That's like just waiting. You know, this is all clothes that we've gotten from

You know our cousins and whatnot that are different sizes that we've gone through and organized

So like this is like 24 months and all that. So that's just gonna sit there until our daughter gets bigger
