Damn you backlight, I wish I had a lens hood.
it bothers me. Welcome to a new video
This time we are talking about something a bit different.
Let's go to new grounds... (drill sounds)
Let's go to a little bit of new territory, so
I ate the last 30 days only meat
and meat products, animal products
I also drank milk and ate some cheese
And with this video I will now tell you
what this caused, how my
body now feels, would I do it again
and how from now on. I'll try to keep this one
dense and my purpose is also to do
another, a sequel video, sequel to this one
and then in that one to answer your
questions and comments so write them down
if you have any comments
But without further ado, let's get to the point.
A little background.
I have all my life, honestly
fought with health matters
specifically
a lot with weight
and also just
with physical and mental problems
i've had a lot of fatigue
my energy levels have always varied
really drastically, i'm always when I'm hungry
really tired, and after I've eaten
I have been even more tired, I practically shut down completely
Like I'd been smashed to the head with a sledge hammer
This has always been a daily thing and I always thought that
this is just something natural to me
and i am like this and that nothing can be done to it
this has been my
way to live my whole life and ...
I have had all kinds of anxiety and
Depression and everything possible
what ever you can imagine. Then I have
physical problems like asthma, skin problems
atopic rash, then
eczema, like this nice skin disease
that looks kinda like this
well, it is not very visible right now. Not terrible but
in the hands, this irritating thing,
a system that causes a little bit of these pimples
And then acne and all that stuff. Dry skin.
And allergies terribly, sleeping problems
It's like
you name it, and I lift my hand up.
And somehow I always thought that these are the kind of things that
you just have to learn to live with them, not improve or heal
they are kind of part of me and
I never, for example.. I will always be a little swollen
and all that stuff. I never thought that I anything could
Really change anything.
Well, by accident
before the end of last year, late 2018
I came across on Youtube this title
"carnivore diet" and then I...
I remember that my reaction was that I laughed at it
or I don't know if I actually laughed, literally, but I laughed internally
I thought that this is once again some joke
One of these,
crazy things, but I still watched the video
What I found interesting in it
was that there was a long-time vegan.
who explained that he has just eaten meat
for 30 days
and basicly said that this heals cancer
that all the former problems have disappeared
I read those comments on that video
and there were hundreds of comments
and everyone had the same kind of life story and
and the story just like I had
Apart from that, that I was never a vegan.
So I know nothing about that
But everyone really listed there
all of the above mentioned problems
like diseases and others
health problems and pretty much everybody had
found a solution to these problems, like a
miraculousness healing almost because they had left
all the other foods and started
to just eat meat products
and I thought it was a totally absurd thing, my reaction was that
that this is quite ridiculous, it makes no sense
And this is not based on anything
at least on anything I have been taught my whole life
in schools and everywhere, at home
I have always been said that the meat is just terribly unhealthy, red meat
should be avoided, you get everything you need from other substances
and you should eat vegetables a LOT
all this stuff
you know that story. But the more
I was interested in this and researched it
I watched these videos more, read the comments and articles
I began to grow more and more attracted to
test this because I thought that this couldn't be true
and I'm not gonna die if I try this for 30 days,
eat only meat
That I don't think that this
at least can make my health any worse than this
because the starting level was not very high
Then, at the beginning of January, I decided to get started
I hesitated, but then I thought that damn, I haven't anyway
eaten that much of carbohydrates
That it's definitely an easy transition for me
the only problem I wondered was if I had enough money
because the meat is expensive, especially the meat of this type
of diet where you should eat fatty good meat
not just some dry meat or
some dry pork meat, but you have to get the
good fat steaks
let's take my calendar out
I have a few notes here
The first one is
three or four days from the start
Swelling in the face has dropped
The stomach started to bother at night, feel a bit like vomiting
I think this is really about that
I researched it, that
when you stop eating carbs altogether and
the so-called ketosis system kicks in
i don't know terribly lot the scientific stuff,
of all these scientific matters and facts
so I'll link down there
material, videos, which you can watch to find more info and
more detailed information
but anyway, your body gets
some sort of withdrawal symptoms when all cells,
everything revives and changes, digestion, bacterial strain
everything changes so you might get
for example, flu symptoms
and at worst these withdrawal symptoms
In a way, can be as bad as some
drug addicts, for example, have when they go through
the treatments and
So I had a little bit of this type of stuff and really
my stomach then, there were little problems
with my stomach to adapt to it for a few days
maybe a week. The next day, I wrote "At night severe stomach problems"
"and digestion does not work, headache." It was one
I had a tough headache especially at nights
And then came the symptoms
...
just the symptoms of the flu itself
out of nowhere without a
reasonable explanation
but there actually ends my
notes, I didn't writing anything else here anymore
after the first week
so everything started to roll pretty well after that
I suddenly noticed that
I found a lot of new energy
I lost all those
changes and drops in energy levels, before when I ate
I went out completely even though I used to eat just regular
food, just the usual home-cooked food, but it was very much carb based
And I believe that it is kinda the
reason for those energy levels dropping
I always before tried
to eat four warm meals a day
or 3-4 warm meals a day
and I noticed that if I didn't get it for some reason
I couldn't eat some of the meals, missed one
or some of them was delayed, I'd get this hunger
this enormous hunger that would kill me
and it comes immediately and it paralyzes me
completely, then I get huge fatigue
and then when I get that food, It's like the lamps would go out
just an awful feeling
and
now that I ate meat only
I never planned how much
I would eat or when to eat
at what times of the day, how many times a day, nothing like that
And the couple first weeks I think I did
Eat two or three times a day
but now these couple last weeks, week or two
or whatever, I didn't count the days
I practically ate just one meal
once a day
And in general I ate it around eight maybe, in the evening
and I ate about 600-700 grams
Entrecote beef steak, that very high fat meat
there we have a couple of kilos
a couple kilos of entrecote there
organic milk, okay, there's a little coke too
that sauce i did not use, it is an old sauce
There is butter, this is what my fridge has looked like
like the last month or so
this has been at this warm room temperature
now all day, i took it out of freezer very early in the morning
they are now well melted, with a little black pepper
and then there's this
Himalayan salt
Next, I put the iron pan warming
And when it's hot
it is actually already lubricated with butter, but when it is hot,
I throw them into it and cook them quick, some eat it raw
I like to eat it cooked
But it's pretty fast, just a few minutes and they are good
Here is actually around 600 to 700 grams of meat
it's like
a nice dose, it has three or four steaks
I've been eating a set like this each day
In the mornings I sometimes eat a little bit of cheese and bacon
and I drink milk,
if i wanted a little bit like a snack
had a little hunger or a feeling that I could grab a little something
so I take a little cheese or drink whole milk, I have
started to drink organic whole milk with all the grease in it in lumps
which is by the way extremely good
That is one of the things, my whole life, I've been warned that
It is certainly not allowed to drink that. That you should always drink skim milk without fat.
I don't know. Big thumbs up for greasy milk.
I never even drank organic milk before
But now I thought that whatever
But yeah, I have eaten generally
almost completely entrecote because in Finland you don't
really find anything else in that way
for example, what American eat
they eat a lot of that Rib Eye Steak
I have never been able to find that in here and also, a terribly poor range of meat
in general here, where...
where I live, this little town or city, whatever
you can't find any good fatty meat here
that is the risk that if you eat too much
of such a high protein meat
you get some kind of protein poisoning or something
but that is it's own story
which is why it is recommended that
you add fat and
eat a lot of fatty fish, for example
piglets and this type of stuff
I also ate
Salmon and pigs
a little bit
but 90% of the time I've eaten cow meat, beef
and I found it on some good
offers and sales with a good price
about 15 euros per kilo so I purchased it
a lot and from that kilo I have eaten
or it's actually been a lump that weights a bit over kilo,
two days in general
I didn't plan to eat just once a day
it was by no means like "hey, now there's some...
trend that people eat just once a day", but it just went that way
I noticed that I only get once a day this real
hunger, that I feel like really eating
and I eat so much that I get full
I don't know how much I eat calories
I haven't counted, and it is not possible to count them because you can't know about that meat
Even with the same brand of meat
the same meat, the same sized pieces and so on
there is still always a different amount of fat so it can't be known
but it seems that in this diet
it does not matter how much calories you eat, because you only eat so
that it will be enough for you, you don't need to keep yourself hungry
or nothing, I didn't do that
of course I still sometimes feel that I have a little tiny hunger
but it is nothing
it is not a deadly hunger, it does not cause me any fatigue and I'm not starving
I have really great energy
and I'm feeling good
my mind is much brighter
very positive thoughts and feelings
after 30 days
the purpose was to only do this 30 days and then
Either return to the old regular diet
homemade food, or gradually
start after 30 days to increase the plants and
to avoid those carbs
But at the moment I feel that I think I will still
continue with meat alone, because
Let's talk how this has affected me
skin problems, haven't really healed at all
I still have this, here in my palms and
dry skin and I have a back filled with red pimples
it is not changed at all
maybe I have a little bit more skinny skin, and better skin,
like in the face and in the face all that redness
has reduced
So yeah, maybe there's a little small healing
but it may be that
I also don't know about it, but I might be sensitive for dairy.
So I think I should cut out for a week or two
all the dairy products, but somehow I have just had so good
feeling on this diet now for this month
that I would like to continue another month
but maybe make a change
in there, that I'd add exercising.
because now I did not move at all during this month
not at all. I never went to the gym
I never went running
I didn't do anything else but just went ice fishing few times
some walks, but very lightly, ridiculously light
exercise and ridiculously little
and nevertheless
I actually lost 5 kg now
during this month, when I started this
at the beginning of January I weighed 109 kg.
and now, just before making this video
I weighed 104 kg.
and a huge part of that is liquid
but certainly also fat because really here
in this ketogenic diet
specifically, you burn fat very well
the first half of this experiment was funny, the first week or two
mainly it was the first week when I went to this diet
I couldn't sleep because I had to go to
the toilet after every hour
to empty my bladder
at night time, I don't know why, I had not even drunk that much in the evening
but the stuff just came
and came I think it's just that, like
sort of part of why the swelling of the face decreased really suddenly and fast
It's that water that your body is full of
could I recommend this to others?
I could, based on my own experience and on what others
say in the amazing world of the internet
as a long-term diet,
I do not know what it does for the blood vessels, the heart, all this
but here is the point of trying to avoid
processed meat or eat as organic as possible
and all that, I certainly didn't have now
enough money to buy something
organic, antibiotic-free, grass fed meat
but that's the best thing because then you
get rid off all that trash and other stuff
sort of what you take day by day maybe
and in my opinion, the advantages of this are precisely there, not so much
in the fact that the meat would be a miracle healing cure for everything
but that you will eliminate with simply eating meat
everything else, because everyone sure has some
foods in their diet
which cause problems in your body but you don't know it because
you have eaten them your whole life
like me, I just thought that I am like this
but when I left everything out
everything ... Okay, I admit, I drank coca-cola zero.
a bit.
I couldn't do it. But anyway,
everything else, all treats, all the delicacies, all the carbs
buns, pizzas, kebabs
even all vegetables, salads, juices, fruits, all
so somehow my mind brightened up a lot, so
it is quite clear to me that there is something that
is causing problems
inside of me
and
I don't know what it is, at the moment, I don't know
what substances they are, but it has to be sorted out, you have to gradually
start testing
Always add some food, then continue for a week or two
and see if you're okay, nothing happened
let's add something else, like this
this is the way at least I will go from here on, because I want to find for me
a diet that I enjoy,
I like the food, like the taste
i can afford to eat it, buy it
and it also keeps me in good health and shape
that I feel good
my weight is not going up and down, I don't get puffed up
it is really the last thing that I
never ever want again, that awful swelling.
it is horrible, just a horrible feeling
you get a bad self esteem when
you look in the mirror and see yourself and are like "erhh, I look super fat"
although in reality it is not even fat or grease or anything
what causes it but it is just fluid
so yeah
It's a tricky thing, but
as a long-term diet, I can not
declare that this is the solution to everything that it heals cancer
because there is not
really any scientific results of this in the long term
But it has been studied in the short term that this
definitely can bring big,
good positive health effects
I didn't take any blood values or anything before or after
this experiment, but these type of videos can be found a lot
especially the Americans have done a lot of this stuff
I'll try to slip some of these underneath in the description so you can get acquainted with them
And what somehow fascinates me a lot, still fascinates me
in this whole system, in this
carnivore diet phenomenon which is quite new
I think this grew last year
and suddenly became a big big phenomenon
I don't know if it has arrived to Finland at all, at least I
couldn't really find any info in Finnish
but I'm really fascinated by the fact that this is very much a vegan thing
former vegans
tout this a lot
like "this is the best thing ever"
this is how to eat, only meat, what the heck really
i didn't do this experiment
for any weight loss reasons
but just out of pure interest, I wanted to know
if these vegans lie or what
or what this is about
And, in my opinion, it's incredible, there's really a little negative about it
very little negative info, everyone who has tried this
or I don't know if everyone, but definitely most of those who have tried it
report true positive health effects
And indeed, much was left untreated
But if you have any questions, surely you have
Put a comment below, I'll make the next video
at some point and speak maybe a bit more and in detail
and then try to answer your questions on
the video, so I will try not to
respond to them in the comments
So do not be surprised if I do not answer like I usually do in the comments
but thank you for watching
We'll see you again with the next videos
