today we're discussing how to treat a gummy smile

hi guys my name is dr. Sarah Tonks I'm a cosmetic physician in London today I'm

going to be discussing with you the various different methods we can use in

order to treat a gummy smile now first of all it goes without saying that the

most comprehensive and complete way to treat a gummy smile if the indication is

severe enough is actually with surgery so there's a type of surgery that one

can do which basically moves the bone that the teeth sit in into a slightly

different position and it changes the plane at which the teeth sit now if

your gummy smile is not severe enough to undergo surgery like this then it might

be appropriate to try and use Botox and dermal fillers in order to disguise that

the other thing to mention about gummy smiles is it's important to check the

length of the teeth for example if the teeth themselves look very very short

then in some cases crown lengthening surgery can be performed on the gums in

order to make the gum itself appear smaller and the tooth longer without

changing the structural underlying position of the teeth so there are a few

things that we need to check before knowing which is the best treatment to

perform you need to check the underlying bone structure the shape and length of

the tooth and any associated muscle pull say surgeries out for you and crown

lengthening surgeries out for you or not appropriate the other available options

being Botox and dermal filler can be used in a variety of different ways

let's go over to our patient today and do a facial assessment in order to see

what treatment we're going to perform on this first image she's not smiling the

more astute amongst you you may have guessed that you know in my videos I

don't just like to treat one thing so I'm going to do a full facial assessment

for her first and then we'll have a look at her smiling so you can see here that

her low a facial third is really short and she's actually really using her chin

muscles and her lip muscles to try and close her bites this is due to the

position of the teeth and underlying bone structure you can see here there's

some dimpling on the chin and that's because she's trying really hard to form

this seal on her lips the next thing that I noticed is the cheek bone so

she's kind of flat here and it would be nice to just get a little bit more of a

vector here so that the face is in more of a v-shape so you can imagine if we

extend the chin down and we vector the cheek bone up more well it just looks

nice though doesn't it can you see how there's this downwards droop as well in

the eyebrow and also in the eyelid ideally I would like to put a bit of

Botox there in order to lift up the outer corner of the brow I don't think

we did that on her actually and it might be quite nice to put a bit of filler

there as well in order to push the outer edge of the brow up ideally it would be

nice to put a bit of Botox in the brow to lift the outer edge up and also some

filler here to push the lateral edge of the eye up I don't think we did that

so let's look at her smiling yeah we can see there a reasonable amount of gum

show so I think it's fair to say that you wouldn't be able to make the crown

so the bit that's visible off the teeth longer without it looking weird your

other options would be to drop the upper lip so that on smiling the muscle isn't

pulling the lip up as much or do something surgical okay so the first

thing we did was used some Teosyal ultimate in the cheek area so I went to the front

part of the cheek and also the lateral part I then used Teosyal ultra deep in the

cheek area and then used a cannula to go in from the left side of the chin to the

chin point and the marionette region and I didn't if you could see on the

pre-existing photos but the left side was actually much worse than the right

so I put a whole couple of syringes actually in

this region alone and then by that time we'd used 4 mils

so let's have a look at how this looks so you can see that already the

cheekbone is looking a little better from doing this the outer corner of the

eye has been pushed up slightly which is good it means that you can't see as much

of the white underneath the colored part of the eye and the chin has been

extended down so that's 4 mils looking pretty good then I used red yes 0.75

mils per side to create what's called the next top model' look I find that a

bit cheesy but nevertheless that is what people are calling it so that is what I

did and then I used Teosyal kiss in the lips you could probably see that

there was some asymmetry in the lip so the left side was much bigger than the

right so I used the kiss in the right lateral lip and along the board and then

upper lip tensing on the right and a little bit on the left I then used a wee

bit of it in the lower lip as well and there are some asymmetry in the lower

lip with the most fullness being to the left part of the lower lip so we tried

to centralize that and the last thing was to use the Botox in there now when I

do these injections using Botox I'm kind of really cautious because it's

sometimes uncomfortable for people when it starts to kick in and it changes the

way that their face moves obviously because that's what it's supposed to do

but I find that sometimes people prefer it if it's carried out over more than

one session so I only saw her once so I was very cautious with the amount that I

put in anyway let's have a look

at how she looked after she'd had all the filler done and this is her

immediately I do know between her having this Villa done and now she did

experience quite a bit of bruising so this is her after three weeks cheekbones

are looking good I think the chin has really sort of come

into its own there I think that looks really nice it's really extended the

vertical dimension of the lower facial third and the fullest part of the lower

lip is now much more centralised I think it looks much better you could make the

argument for adding more filler in the upper lip personally I think it's enough

I would leave that one up to the patient but let's take a look at her smiling and

as I mentioned to you I was quite cautious when putting the Botox in if I

could see her again I would definitely put more I didn't see her in the interim

so there was no opportunity for adjustment the toxin in the chin however

has worked really well you see that there is much less muscle pull in the

chin and now she's really not fighting to relax that muscle on smiling it just

looks a lot more harmonious and that's actually an interesting point guys

because often people will ask well if I get my cheeks filled does it mean that

I'm going to look weird when I'm smiling and as you can see she's smiling and she

looks normal so I guess the answer for her would

definitely be no just FYI another way to use filler to drop down

the lip when smiling is to place it at the base of the nose so right here and

sometimes that will cause a physical blockade so that the muscle isn't able

to contract up as much so it means that the lip when smiling will be slightly

lower normally I like to do a combination of doing that with a bit of

Botox but for her it wasn't really appropriate so I left it where

okay guys so that's it for today I hope you enjoyed the video if you have any

questions about the procedures you've just seen please just let me know in the

comment section below and start the chat as well if you've ever had a gummy smile

and perhaps you've had Botox or fillers or maybe even surgery join me again next

week where we will be talking about another case and in the meantime we're

super if you would subscribe to the channel and like the video I'll see you

later

Painting Help, difference between inks and washes - Duration: 10:46.

hi guys welcome again I'm just gonna do another basic painting tutorial video

today it's not gonna be massive its man I'm just going to be talking to you guys

about applying different shades over the same color now these three figures here

I've been originally base coated black and then pin airbrushed from rhinox hide

up to scratch Brown and if you remember last week's video unless you're watching

this on my website root stem got caught at you care then it's a lot the last

week's video but because you get more exclusive content on there but these

guys were the ones that did this but the dry brush now all three of these have

been shaded with different shades these games workshop's the more like a watery

paint but not an ink because an ink I will consider to be completely different

an ink is it can be quite heavy and be quite dry it can be quite heavy and can

be quite pigment orientated so it actually overruns a lot the color that

you're putting it over a lot of the original inks from workshop used to be

used like a reset not like a reset shared and used to paint it as an

example flesh used to paint flesh and then you put flush wash over it and then

you paint your flush again leaving the recesses and it used to stop really

really darken I'll show you some of the old cuz I've still got some of the old

school games workshop inks I'm gonna show you a difference now the figures in

front like I said we're all painted the same and what I'm going to do is bring

off to the camera so you can see them and this one here course was shaded up

using Seraphin sepia now with the sepia when you compare my dropper you compare

over to that one's using a director shared and

that one's using seventeen CPU now I cracked serve shared is a hell of a lot

of a darker shade between the two I might actually just put a little bit on

here so you can see the difference but it's a lot of a darker shade now you can

tell that by the recesses so all the way across that like there is a lot darker

than that one that one is a lot more subtle so if in sepia for me is quite a

light shade very good for yellows if you've not got hold of your ins one it's

a very good color first so I like the brown a yellow sort of transitioning up

it's also good for some Reds as well sometimes and so he's like that sir

shade but it depends on what type of red you wanting this one's a bit more over

what you'll call warm color this one to me is a bit more of a dirty color and he

said it's darker so it's going to be definitely a darker shade now I've

actually used wykel and fresh shed now this one's a bit more if you look at the

pot compared to these two these two can be a bit brownie that one

is a bit more red you know Michael and flash shared is brilliant for flash but

it's also good on Browns I always find anyway so you've got your a grep serve

shared and then again you just have a look at that that makes the edges pop

more now the edges again it's exactly the same colors it's the boss scrap

Brown that one looks looks slightly different

it looks a lot more warm and that's what recon flash laid for me does to a lot of

gaps or colors and makes them look a hell of a lot more warm than what the

B's to do so again free if suppose this is really good if you batch painting

because I've got three of her exact same colors and I've put three different

shades on and you get free slightly different variants but not massive it's

like huge variant it's not something that's going to be completely drastic

but it is enough to have a more different and of course if you paint in

I think this about in the Commission I'm doing is about thirty horses so if you

doing forces and you wanted at all looks like different and all look the same

because you can't have horses always looking generic they're always different

sconce their skin tone so most people then I'll use this type of technique to

be able to change a lot of the actual code

now a lot of people won't really use shades on dark colors I will please

ignore what that's gonna get sorted out later I do I have been li use dialect

sir shit and we con flush it on some of it our colors these are just right oxide

I hope you wanna call it B to your brain but it's not these are still Ryan oxide

it's just pure I can't write oxide over black airbrushed and then of course a

dry brushed some more wine oxide on top to pick out the edges again on my dry

brush and video previously that one bow is I got sir shed and that will now is

recon flushing again you can see how that one's got more a warmer tone the

slightly lighter than this one and again it's just exactly the same colors but

we're getting two different variants we're getting one less slightly warmer

one that's slightly darker these can be a lot of black horses that don't tend to

be pure black they tend to be very very dark brown which is what I'm using this

for I am going to create some black horses but they're going to be a

completely different set for when I actually paint them for my Commission

now I wanted to show you some differences between inks and shades

shades to me is more like what you used to call is more like a wash or it can

even be I suppose the gloss ones can be a bit more of a glaze depending the

course upon what you do me you tend to meet your own glazes all these are

considered black now no loyal he's not black it's very very very light if I

show you a white sort of horse that's been covered in oil that doesn't make

the horse or black it just makes it look like a grey which is the color one I

wanted and if I just get my brushes I tend to use Citadel shared bushes and

here's a lot of Citadel stuff because it's tends to be designed for what you

need it for you can't get alternatives but it's a bit more awkward and of

course I can get these from a local hobby store

so that's non-oil now for paying down there

it was no law does not completely obliterate the white it's still there

and the white is still present this many it looks may look darker it's been a

marker shared it's also really good to paint over the top off extra got no

delays your gaming black now this is quite a dark you look at that there it's

a lot darker and even as you can see with me taking off it's it's a lot more

fake now that will obliterate a lot of colors I find as an airbrusher that is

fantastic for point through an airbrush when you paint in large-scale terrain

pieces and you want some bits to look darker or webinar1 it's also really good

for putting over the ends of guns so if you've got a barrel that's supposed to

look like it's you know a little bit choked up maybe a melt ago that is

perfect just put a couple of drops a tiny airbrush airbrush it's on and he

actually turns it really really dark so that's a really good way of getting a

black without using black especially if you wanting a slight transition if you

keep going over the area eventually it does actually turn black and the next

one I don't want to use a lot of it so this is old school this is Games

Workshop black ink if you ever look at that black ink that

is a hell of a lot more like the gaming pretty much nearly identical so

sometimes when you come across old tutorials by Games Workshop and they

rely on you using an ink they're not meaning this stuff

this stuff's a hell of a lot lighter it goes on different and what black ink

does blocking all obliterates the color that you're on and just show a little

bit of it through whereas normal will work with the color itself same when

you've got your recon flash shared and old-school flash wash old-school flash

wash is a very heavy color some techniques tour for old-school flash

cross is if you get a silver and put silver

these colors work a lot better than these colors when you want to change the

properties of something so if you got a silver out and you get an old-school

flash wash and put it over you get a very nice bronze and then of course if

you're gonna silver out and put black ink over it just it makes it very very

dark so if you wanted a very very good on mechanicus these two if you want in a

very oily sort of looking mechanical feel sometimes spraying your whole

mechanicus figure silver red hitting this into a lot of the mechanical parts

and maybe keeping raised armor edges just paint without and burn head you

know highlighting that with some more silver one spray a coat will give you

two different figures I am going to be doing a tutorial using washes and shades

on some jeans steel occult because I know jeans dealer called codex yeah by

the time this video comes out it will be released so I am gonna be paying some

cold top I'm gonna be showing you how i paint Michael is quickly using mainly

these bad boys so a combination of different shades to get the effect that

I want but that's it for this week I've not got a lot unfortunately I'm away for

the week so I'm trying to get some of these done quick so apologies if your

content is not the same as usual apology is that the there's no heavy metal in

the video again but again I'll put some on the end for you guys and if you go

over to root stem Dakota at UK you can sign up to the website three pounds a

month and you get exclusive access to all of my youtube videos as soon as they

are ready there's no waiting about four weeks there's quite a few videos loaded

upon there I think I've got about three it'll be three to four by the time you

guys see with such a little bit three to four exclusive battles with boss on

there and of course for Jean stealer painting one and the noise marine

painting one because I've got some surprises for that as well coming up

will be ready right thanks so much guys see you next time

ADIDAS Schuhvergleich - Nemeziz 18.1 VS X18.1 - Duration: 7:53.

Hey guys what up? And welcome to a brand new boot battle here on my channel!

Today two of the best Adidas Boots will battle each other...

The Adidas Nemeziz 18.1 VS the Adidas X18.1

These two are my favourite adidas boots ever! So lets find out which on is the better one...

Okay lets start with the first category which is the touch and the ball control.

And here I would pick the Adidas X18.1 as the winner because the upper is a bit thinner which gives you a slightly better touch.

But also the nemeziz 18.1 has a really good and direct touch but the upper is not as thin as the adidas x.

So both ones perform really good but its a battle so I have to pick one and this would be the X18.1

Okay already time for the second category which is the fit and comfort of the two adidas boots.

And here I would pick the Adidas Nemeziz because of the agility bandage the tape upper.

Because of this upper you get a perfect fit which allows you to feel right at home

But also the fit in the Adidas X18.1 is one of the best on the market.

Mostly I like the secured heel part!

But also here I have to decide so I would pick the Adidas Nemeziz 18.1 even both again perform good

Okay its time for the last category which is the durability.

And I have to say its a draw...

Both are from Adidas so both have a very good durability!

In my test phase, I was unable to detect any changes except slight discoloration of the upper material.

Therefore, both shoes close well and there is no clear winner

Okay, this is the battle draw. The Adidas X18.1 has a bit better touch

but the Adidas Nemeziz 18.1 has the slightly better fit. And in the category of durability both are equally good.

Therefore, your choice is crucial. Leave a comment with your winner.

And thats it for today. Thanks for watching!

If you liked it leave a thumbs up and dont forget to subscribe! See you next time!
