What's up fish tank people?

Dustin's Fish Tanks bringing it to you.

Talking about a 900 gallon aquarium.

How's everybody doing?

I hope you're doing well.

So in last week's video we showed you the hardscape,

the rocks and what went into that.

The week before that we showed you the lights,

the substrate, and the filtration.

In this week's video we're gonna

tie it all together for you.

We're gonna talk about the goals the Newport

has in this aquarium, we're gonna talk about

my goals with this tank,

we're gonna talk about the plants.

We're gonna talk about what plant I went with

and why I went with them.

We're also gonna talk about the preparation

that went into preparing those plants for this tank.

I'm also gonna show you a mistake I made with the driftwood

and a behind the scenes look

at the Newport Aquarium's warehouse

where we prepped these plants.

I have four more aquariums I'm doing

with the Newport Aquarium, this is just the start.

Now let's talk about something I don't want to use.

I wanted to make sure there was absolutely

no algae from the previous set up

here in this new set up.

They did a full four day blackout here,

and you can see while I'm down in this tank

how it is all taped up.

This was not an easy sell for me, however,

because this is a public aquarium,

they have lots of people going through there

and having brown cardboard over the front of an aquarium

is not exactly the look they are going for

in their exhibits.

My goal, however, was a clean, fresh start.

Let's talk about the goals here.

You ever head the Ludacris song too many rookies,

not enough pros?

These guys are pros.

Look down, that's like how you do it.

I was like hey yeah, we got a 700 gallon tub,

we're just gonna throw all your plants in.

So, that's one 700 gallon hygrophila set up.

That's a Reaprite 400 watt metal highlight that I love.

That's another 400 watt metal highlight.

That's two of three that are going into this tank.

Unfortunately almost all of the crypt spiralis

still had algae all over it.

And we made a game time decision not to use

any of it in the resetting up of this tank

they only had a little bit of it saved

I thought about grabbing some of it from this

amazing rainbow fish tank they have setup there.

But then I decided, let's put a little bit of

constraints on this, I'm gonna try to pull this

aquarium off with all plants from the same genus.

All of these plants we use in this aquarium are

cousins, folks.

I figured once the hard stuff was done on this tank

that planting would be easy.

Not so much.

You see, while I think I nailed the driftwood with this

my placement of the driftwood made it just a

tad bit difficult to get in and out of this aquarium

I like the look, but I had to pay the price

when I was getting in and out of it.

A quick note on the driftwood

So, while it was more difficult to move around

I had two things working for me that I hadn't expected.

One of my initial concerns with setting of this

aquarium was how this was going to look while I was

doing it from the inside.

Am I going to be able to see what I am doing while

I'm inside the tank?

Or am I going to have to get in and out of it,

in and out of it, in and out of it?

This tank was so big, surprisingly to me,

that I was actually able to see pretty well what was

going on the whole time.

And when I hopped out of the tank,

it looked the way I wanted it to look

when I was right in front of it.

The second thing I was able to do,

and this is a huge one folks,

I was able to get a ridiculous amount of help

from the folks at the Newport Aquarium,

handing me down plants as I need 'em.

All plants come rubber bound with foam around them

they were able to take all those off.

I would hold up a plant and say

I need about 15 of these and they were able

to hand me exactly the species I needed, when I needed.

So I was able to get into something I really

want to talk about.

If I had to get out of this aquarium every time

I needed more plants it would've taken me

twice as long, more importantly it would've

messed up something that I really got into here.

That something is what I like to call the flow.

It's a flow, folks.

Ever get into something you're having so much fun

doing on your own that you completely lose track of time?

That's the flow.

That's what I'm talking about here.

Anyone who's ever done some sort of

creative work knows, when you're in the flow,

stay in the flow!

Keep doing it, keep distractions at an absolute minimum

and stay in the flow.

And folks, I gotta tell ya, I believe my flow was

pretty on point with this.

I didn't have to hold any cameras,

people were handing me plants,

and ya boy Dusty was gettin' after it in this tank.

And it was a riot.

Being in the flow with this aquarium was

absolutely awesome for me.

I had a general plan of what I was trying to do.

We had boarded on the crypt spiralis

and we went all in on the hygrophila.

All of the plants in this aquarium

were the genius hygrophila.

But once I had the hardscape established

which was slightly different than plan,

I was able to kind of see where the plants were

going to go, to fit the flow of this aquarium.

You can see how I started with the low compacts

along the bottom, I was able to bring those to the

front to really accent the foreground.

I also brought in more of the actual rocks we used

broken up to sprinkle in more to soften the hardscape

if you will, around the foreground

and I was able to build up this nice red

kinda streak you can see here with the

hygrophila cordata red.

Channel Growth Strategy No. 9 – Can you guess it? - Duration: 6:11.

Alright, let's conquer Google as well.

YouTube big check.

Google now, too.

Let's dominate the world.

Of course, it's easier said than done.

But here again the cartwheel.

8 growth strategies that you can use in order to grow your channel.

And all of them are working for small channels as well.

So make good use of them.

As I said in the beginning depending on which stage your channel is currently in, some of

the strategies make more sense than others and the more you grow, again different strategies

start to make sense.

For me for example in the beginning collaborations as well as sharing on social media worked

really well but nowadays where I have more traffic on my channel, the linked content

approach works really well because I can add more views on top more easily because I already

have that basis traffic.

So reiterate.

Feel free to take a screenshot here so you can reiterate every now and then which growth

strategies make the most sense for you and adopt accordingly so you can climb the ladder

and get to the next level for your channel.

But you might remember, I said, since the playlist is 8+1 growth strategies, there is

one missing.

Did you find out which one it is?

Well, the point is this: We are growing our YouTube channels with the ultimate goal that

YouTube does all the promotion for us, right?

I mean, that's the reason why the YouTube algorithm is there.

It does promote our videos.

Search is one of them.

It's also a growth strategy because that bootstraps the success of our channels in

a way that we tap into the YouTube algorithm.

But the better we do that, the more audience we bring to our channel, the better we tap

into the YouTube algorithm and with that at one point more and more the algorithms – not

only search, suggested videos as well and all the other places where YouTube is recommending

our videos – is starting to self-propell.

At one point we don't have to work that hard anymore to bring in new audiences to

our channel but we still of course we have to create great content.

And the sooner we create great content – and that is basically what you see in this cartwheel

in the middle, the value – the sooner we do that, the sooner all the algorithms from

YouTube will self-propell our channel.

But one point: I mean, we are talking about quality, value and all that.

It's very fuzzy.

For the YouTube algorithm there are some key metrics that determine how much promotion

the algorithms do for our video.

And so we could do certain things in order to trigger the algorithm even more and that's

in itself a growth strategy we can say, right?

So the two main important metrics that we have for triggering the algorithm is first

of all watch time.

Obviously, that's important.

And increasing the watch time is always a good thing to invest in.

But I would say we talked enough that topic.

So let's not focus on that.

The equally important metric is the click through rate.

So the thumbnails are influencing most, first and foremost the click through rate.

And they are crucial to make the video really work with the YouTube algorithm.

That's also kind of a way of YouTube understanding this is a video of great value because more

people click on it when they see it in their recommendation feed for example.

So improving the click through rate, improving our thumbnails so that more people click,

really makes a huge difference in order to trigger the algorithm, get more views this

way.

So let's end this series with this important technique that really is just a technique,

improving our thumbnails, but really in itself also could very well be a growth strategy

by itself.

So I have two videos for you: The first one is about breaking the pattern.

As we know everything is competitive on YouTube, right?

I mean, we have to break through the competition.

That's just natural.

And it's the same thing for thumbnails.

And that is all about the first video, breaking the pattern basically.

So that break through the competition, your thumbnail stands out so that people click

your video rather than those of the other channels.

And then the second video that we have, and that completes our playlist, is a live stream

that I did with Marco.

He has mind blowing skills when it comes to thumbnails.

I never saw anyone not saying that his thumbnails really are great.

It's amazing, it's amazing.

It's a longer live stream where we talk with one another and talk about all the techniques

how to improve your thumbnails.

He shows his process and all that.

It's a little bit longer but it's so important that I would say, that's a good way to chill

out in the end, to take in the advice and with that end this series about growth strategies.

I hope you found it helpful.

Let's now end it with one really good technique, not much work, just redesigning our thumbnails.

But this can really make a big difference for our channel.

A good excercise to train them is the L-sit on bars. 5 seconds L-sit is a REQUIREMENT!

The strongest arm is pushing and the other arm is for pulling and for balance!

How should a beginner start practicing it?

This easy excercise is very good!

I can't give an answer , it depends on how frequently u train and what's the person current level!

Well what about someone who's not a total beginner?

It depends on the excercises u do and how often u train like i said before , but I think a few months , 3 - 4 months!

It's just like shampoo,

face cream,

or body lotion,

our products for nails should be selected individually.

Now, I can not imagine my work

Such a situation does not allow to adjust to the requirements of individual clients

or their stylizations.

It is worth remembering that products differ in many properties:

purpose,

color,

surface tension,

consistency,

the number of photoinitiators,

adhesion

time and type of polymerization,

lack or possession of an inhibition layer.

And in practice and from the client's point of view,

the softness or hardness of the product will be very important.

I will tell you about the differences between the gel system and hybrid system,

because these are the two most popular ways of nail styling in Poland.

Traditional

most often harder gels

they have a tight and compact molecular structure

and low molecular weight.

Because of this strong form,

acetone does not work on them.

Which in practice means that the products do not dissolve in it.

You can soak, soak, and soak you nails

and the effect of this bath will be extremely meager.

These gels are perfect for long constructions,

made on the tips and template.

They work great on a hard and strong nail plate.

On the other hand

soft gels,

Hybrids are also important,

especially those new products that give you the opportunity to build and extend nails.

But remember please

that they are still softer,

than soak-off gels,

hard gels, acryl-gels or acrylics.

With a hybrid varnish, the nails on the template can be extended as much as possible,

but let's be aware that we will not always get the optimal result.

Where reconstruction is needed,

tighten the curve C more,

model an unusual shape or correct the course of the side lines,

that's where the gel works perfectly.

There is no doubt about it.

Of course, I am aware of the fact that the application of gels is clearly more difficult than painting with a hybrid varnish,

but it's like with the ability to ride a bike,

BUT IT IS WITH GOD,

AND IT WILL BE WITH YOU BY THE TIME

I FINISH GIVING YOU WHAT GOD HAD TO SAY ABOUT IT.

SOME PEOPLE LET FEAR COMPLETELY

BIND THEIR MINDS

AS THEY CONTINUALLY LOOK INTO TOMORROW

AND WHAT MAY OR MAY NOT HAPPEN:

FRUSTRATION, FEAR, DOUBT ARE THEIR CONSTANT COMPANIONS;

THEIR MINDS ARE NOT STAYED ON THE LORD.

MATTHEW 6:34,

"TAKE THEREFORE NO THOUGHT FOR THE MORROW:

FOR THE MORROW SHALL TAKE THOUGHT

FOR THE THINGS OF ITSELF.

SUFFICIENT UNTO THE DAY IS THE EVIL THEREOF."

ISAIAH THE PROPHET WROTE IN

— AND HE WAS ONE OF THE GREAT PROPHETS UNDER THE LAW,

AND THIS IS HIS 26:3, 4,

"THOU WILT KEEP HIM IN PERFECT PEACE,

WHOSE MIND IS STAYED ON THEE:

BECAUSE HE TRUSTETH IN THEE.

TRUST YE IN THE LORD FOR EVER:

FOR IN THE LORD JEHOVAH IS EVERLASTING STRENGTH."

NOW REMEMBER, WHEN YOU TRUST HIM,

YOU HAVE EVERLASTING STRENGTH.

WHEN JESUS WAS TEACHING HIS DISCIPLES HOW TO PRAY,

ONE OF THE THINGS HE INSTRUCTED WAS MATTHEW 6:11,

"GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD."

NOW HE DIDN'T TELL THEM TO ASK FOR TOMORROW'S BREAD—

TAKE THIS NOTE

— HE WAS TEACHING THEM TO NOT LIVE

BUT ONE DAY AT A TIME, ONE DAY AT A TIME.

AND WE DO WELL TO DO EVERYTHING GOD WANTS

IN JUST TAKING ONE DAY AT A TIME, ONE DAY AT A TIME,

ONE DAY AT A TIME.

WOULD EVERYBODY SAY THAT THREE TIMES.

TOMORROW'S BREAD, AND THE NEXT DAY'S BREAD,

HE DIDN'T HAVE THEM FOCUSING ON TOMORROW.

WHEN GOD RAINED DOWN FOOD IN THE WILDERNESS

FOR THE ISRAELITE PEOPLE,

HE TOLD THEM TO GATHER ONLY ENOUGH FOR ONE DAY

AND IF THEY GOT TOO CONCERNED ABOUT TOMORROW'S SUPPLY

AND GATHERED MORE THAN ENOUGH,

IT WOULD SPOIL AND GO TO RUIN.

EXODUS 16:4, 20,

"THEN SAID THE LORD UNTO MOSES, BEHOLD,

I WILL RAIN BREAD [DOWN] FROM HEAVEN FOR YOU;

AND THE PEOPLE SHALL GO OUT

AND GATHER A CERTAIN RATE EVERY DAY,

THAT I MAY PROVE THEM,

WHETHER THEY WILL WALK IN MY LAW, OR NO.

NOTWITHSTANDING THEY HEARKENED NOT UNTO MOSES;

BUT SOME OF THEM LEFT OF IT UNTIL THE MORNING,

AND IT BRED WORMS, AND STANK:

AND MOSES WAS WROTH WITH THEM."

HE WASN'T ONE,

THE TRUE MOSES WASN'T ONE TO GET UPSET TOO OFTEN,

ONLY ON THE SIXTH DAY WERE THEY ALLOWED

TO GATHER ENOUGH FOR THE SEVENTH;

ALSO, BECAUSE IT WAS THE SABBATH DAY.

THEY COULD GATHER TWICE AS MUCH

AND LEAVE IT FOR MORNING,

AND IT WOULD NOT SPOIL.

NOW ISN'T THAT THE WAY GOD PROVIDES?

IF PEOPLE WOULD JUST MIND THE LORD.

THAT'S THE REASON THIS WORK IS WHAT IT IS,

I'VE MINDED THE LORD TO CARRY OUT HIS PLAN,

HIS PLAN— NOT MY PLAN, BUT HIS PLAN.

THE LORD WILL TAKE CARE OF OUR TOMORROWS

BECAUSE HE HOLDS TOMORROW IN HIS HANDS.

IF WE ARE IN HIS HANDS DOING HIS WILL,

EVERYTHING WILL WORK OUT RIGHT.

DO YOU BELIEVE THAT?

ROMANS 8:28,

"AND WE KNOW THAT ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD

TO THEM THAT LOVE GOD,

TO THEM WHO ARE THE CALLED ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE."

AND I KNEW FOR ALL THESE YEARS

I WAS CALLED ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE.

AND I KNEW ALL THINGS WOULD WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD,

THAT NO MATTER HOW MUCH I HAD TO GO THROUGH

IT WOULD WORK, IT WOULD WORK.

AND THE THING WAS, IT WAS PASTORS,

PREACHERS THAT FOUGHT THE HARDEST.

SOME OF THEM DID IT IN SUCH A CRUEL WAY

THEY COULDN'T HAVE MADE IT INTO HEAVEN.

THEY'RE ALL DEAD NOW.

BUT I DIDN'T FOOL WITH THEM.

I KNEW WHAT GOD WANTED ME TO DO,

WHAT HE WANTED ME TO DO, WHAT HE WANTED ME TO DO,

AND I DID IT, I DID IT.

UNLESS YOU USE DIVINE FAITH AND DIVINE LOVE,

YOU'RE NOT GOING TO ACCEPT THAT SCRIPTURE

FOR YOUR DAILY LIFE.

I ACCEPT THAT SCRIPTURE, NOT ONCE FOR MYSELF,

BUT FOR THE WORK OF GOD.

I DON'T KNOW WHAT ALL MY TOMORROWS HOLD,

BUT I KNOW WHO HOLDS MY TOMORROWS.

I KNOW EVERYTHING WILL BE ALL RIGHT

BECAUSE BY FAITH I KNOW WHO HOLDS TOMORROW,

AND THE PROMISES OF GOD ARE TRUE, TRUE, TRUE.

I'VE LEFT THAT LITTLE BOAT OF DOUBT,

FEAR AND FRUSTRATION.

THAT'S AN AWFUL PLACE TO BE.

I LET GO, THE KNOT AT THE END OF THE ROPE.

YOU KNOW I TOLD YOU THERE WAS A TIME

THAT I WOULD JUST TIE A KNOT.

I'D COME TO THE END KNOWING WHAT TO DO,

AND I'D HOLD ON.

BUT I LEARNED FROM THE WORD OF GOD

THAT I WAS JUST HANGING THERE KICKING

AND HOLLERING, "GOD HELP! GOD HELP!"

AND I LOOKED DOWN AND I WAS OVER WATER,

BUT IT WAS GLORIOUS.

IT WAS WHITE WATER, AND THE WAVES WEREN'T DEEP AT ALL,

AND GOD SAID, "LET GO!"

AND IT WAS TIME.

THE KNOT WAS NOTHING MORE THAN A PLACE TO DANGLE

IN DESPAIR AS I TRIED TO FIGURE OUT TOMORROW.

I DON'T FEEL OBLIGATED TO DOUBT LIKE SOME DO.

SOME OF YOU FEEL LIKE YOU'RE DOING AN INJUSTICE

IF YOU DON'T INVESTIGATE YOUR DOUBTS

TO SEE IF THERE IS ANY TRUTH TO THEM.

WE CAN BE STRANGE PEOPLE, CAN'T WE?

IF YOU AREN'T TRUSTING GOD FOR YOUR TOMORROWS

BY USING DIVINE FAITH, YOU'LL STAY IN THAT LITTLE BOAT

WITH HOLES OF FRUSTRATION, FEAR AND DOUBT.

YOU WILL THINK THAT LITTLE BOAT IS YOUR LIFEBOAT,

BUT IT'S NOT;

THAT BOAT WILL SINK EVERY TIME;

THAT BOAT WILL SINK EVERY TIME.

AND YOU'RE IN THAT LITTLE LIFEBOAT TONIGHT,

A FEW OF YOU ARE OR GOD WOULDN'T HAVE GIVEN US THIS.

IF YOU'RE ONE WHO FEELS OBLIGATED TO DOUBT

CONCERNING YOUR TOMORROWS, YOU MUST LEARN TO LIVE-

OVER TO- ONE MUST LEARN TO GIVE OVER

TO THE HOLY SPIRIT, THE HOLY GHOST MORE AND MORE

AND NOT TO YOUR OWN SPIRIT.

BUT YOU HAVE TO TRUST HIM;
