Putin We Should Be Grateful To President Trump In Moscow It's Cold And Snowing

by Tyler Durden

Russian President Vladimir Putin said Friday during a panel at the St. Petersburg Economic

Forum that the US investigations into whether the Kremlin meddled in the US election are

nothing more than "hysteria," and that the anti-Russia sentiment in the US was about

as virulent as anti-semitism.

Its like saying everything is the Jews fault, said Putin, who said the blame for

Hillary Clintons November loss lies squarely at the feet of the Democratic presidential

candidate and members of her party, according to a report.

This reminds me of anti-Semitism, Putin said.

The Jews are to blame for everything.

An idiot cannot do anything himself, so the Jews are to blame.

But we know what such attitudes lead to.

They end with nothing good. Putin, who was being interviewed by NBC's

Megyn Kelly, brushed off questions about meetings that members of the Trump campaign - including

then-Sen. Jeff Sessions - had with Russian officials such as ambassador Sergey Kislyak.

So our ambassador met someone.

That's his job.

That's why we pay him, Putin said.

So what?

What's he supposed to do, hit up the bars? Putin was amused when Kelly touched on the

subject of Russian foreign news coverage spreading disinformation. Putin accused her colleagues

of dragging Russia into their coverage unfavourably.

Lets end this, Putin told her.

You will feel better and we will feel better.

Donald Trump won because he had run a more effective presidential campaign than Hillary

Clinton, Putin said, adding the US intelligence agencies may have faked evidence of Russian

hacking, according to Reuters.

Allegations of Russian involvement were nothing more than "harmful gossip," Putin insisted,

there were no "Russian fingerprints" on the alleged hacks, Reuters reported.

Earlier this week, Putin denied the Russian state had directed any hacking operations

designed to influence the U.S. election though he did say Russian patriots could have

been behind the plot on their own, Fox reported.

Following President Donald Trump's decision Thursday to take the US out of the Paris Climate

Accord talks, Putin said that there's still time to reach a deal on the 2015 pact even

without the US's involvement, before adding, in English, "don't worry, be happy," according

to Reuters.

Despite the critism that has been heapened upon Trump by other world leaders since he

announced his decision to leave the accord last night, Putin said that he "wouldn't blame

Trump" for leaving the accord, though he hoped the White House would set its own climate

rules.

By the way, we should be grateful to President Trump.

In Moscow its raining and cold and even, they say, some snow.

Now we could blame this all on American imperialism, that its all their fault.

But we wont. And though he said he hopes that US sanctions

against Russia would soon be lifted, he noted that they did have some positive effects.

"We had to use our brains," Putin said.

"Not rely on oil and gas dollars."

Allegations of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin have dogged the new

administration since before the inauguration.

In recent weeks, US media have taken aim at Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner, whom NBC

and WaPo reported was a person of interest in the FBI campaign.

As a reminder, Kelly is set to interview Putin in St. Petersburg Friday for a Sunday night

special that will air on NBC.

MIND BODY CONNECTION DURING MEDITATION CAN NOW BE MEASURED - Duration: 10:09.

MIND-BODY CONNECTION DURING MEDITATION CAN NOW BE MEASURED, THANKS TO SCIENCE

There are some scientists out there who believe that the mind-body connection

is complete pseudoscience.

This is very strange, especially given the fact that countless peer-reviewed studies

published by many reputable scientists and institutions have shown a direct connection

between our mind and our body.

Well get to some more examples later in the article, but first lets draw attention

to a group of researchers who say theyve developed a way to measure the physiological

phenomena associated with mindfulness-based stress reduction.

They have proven the real-time physiological effects of spiritual practice, specifically

the way heart and brain activity actually synchronize.

Keep in mind that there are a number of studies that do show the measurable effect that meditation

can have on the body.

For example, within the past few years, Harvard scientists have published multiple studies

showing the biological/physiological effect meditation can have on the brain, as well

as the gut.

Physicists have also shown multiple times that consciousness is directly connected with

out physical material world.

I regard consciousness as fundamental.

I regard matter as derivative from consciousness Everything that we talk about, everything

that we regard as existing, postulates consciousness.

Max Planck, the theoretical physicist who originated quantum theory, which won him

the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1918

For example, a paper published in the peer-reviewed journal Physics Essays explains how this experiment

has been used multiple times to explore the role of consciousness in shaping the nature

of physical reality.

It showed that meditators were able to collapse the quantum wave function at a distance.

This study showed: Observations not only disturb what has to be measured, they produce

it.

We compel [the electron] to assume a definite position.

We ourselves produce the results of measurement.

The researchers are from the University of Hong Kongs Centre for Buddhist Studies,

from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

In a statement given to Newsweek, Sik Hin Hung, Director of the Centre for Buddhist

Studies and the lead researcher of the paper, explained: We talk about whether your mind

and body are in harmony, but there is no systematic way of measuring this.

We now can say with some kind of certainty that when youre practicing MBSR your heart

and your mind become more synchronized and thats very good for you.

The one of its kind paper was published in the scientific peer-reviewed journal JoVE

Video Journal, which focuses mainly on study methodology.

Its big on the issue of reproducibility in biomedical science.

Hungs team recruited 11 graduate studies who signed up for an eight-week long course

on mind-body stress reduction (MBSR).

They were not experienced meditators.

They were connected to an electroencephalogram (EEG) and electrocardiogram (ECG), which collected

data while they were practicing MBSR as well as when they were breathing normally.

One measures brain activity, the other measures heart rate.

This research can now be included in a growing number of publications that are being put

out on the mind-body connection.

Its definitely a trend and a newer area of interest for science, and yet another example

of ancient wisdom being confirmed by modern day science.

In our daily life when we become stressed the sympathetic nervous system kicks into

action and suppresses the parasympathetic nervous [system] Through this research we

found out the practice of MBSR was able to synchronize these two systems, which is a

good thing.

Its similar to the studies that have been conducted on mass meditation and prayer.

As far as their effects on physical systems, numerous publications have yielded statistically

significant results.

Heart-Brain Synchronicity

The study above showed heart-brain synchronicity, and its not the first to do so.

Scientists over at the HeartMath Institute have been studying the same thing, and, according

to Dr. Rollin McCraty, Director of Research at the Institute:

Research findings have shown that as we practice heart coherence and radiate love and compassion,

our heart generates a coherent electromagnetic wave into the local field environment that

facilitates social coherence, whether in the home, workplace, classroom or sitting around

a table.

As more individuals radiate heart coherence, it builds an energetic field that makes it

easier for others to connect with their heart.

So, theoretically it is possible that enough people building individual and social coherence

could actually contribute to an unfolding global coherence.

Their research has shown that when we practice positive emotions, the heart sends out a unique

signal to the brain.

There are actually multiple ways the heart communicates with the brain, and the signals

it sends are triggered by our thoughts, feelings, and emotions.

David Paterson, Ph.D. a professor at Oxford University, also works in this field.

His research shows that your brain is not the sole source of your emotions, but rather,

your heart and brain work together to produce them.

Your heart actually contains neurons, similar to those in your brain, and your heart and

brain are closely connected, creating a symbiotic emotional whole.

His research has shown that when your heart receives signals from the brain, via the sympathetic

nerves, it pumps faster, and when it receives signals through the parasympathetic nerves,

it slows down.

As the HeartMath Institute points out:

One important way the heart can speak to and influence the brain is when the heart is coherent

experiencing stable, sine-wavelike pattern in its rhythms.

When the heart is coherent, the body, including the brain, begins to experience all sorts

of benefits, among them greater mental clarity and ability, including better decision-making.

They emphasize that the heart communicates with the brain in four major ways

Neurologically, through the transmission of nerve impulses

Biochemically, via hormones and neurotransmitters Biophysically, through pressure waves

Energetically, through electromagnetic field interactions

Epigenetics/Placebo

Epigenetics (the study of changes in organisms caused by modification of gene expression)

has shown us that genes and DNA do not control our biology, but rather, DNA is controlled

by signals from outside of the cell, which include the messages that stem from our thoughts.

One of the leading authorities on how our emotions can regulate genetic expression is

cellular biologist Bruce Lipton.

He gives a fantastic and thorough explanation in his books The Biology of Belief and Spontaneous

Evolution.

Its just another example of mind-body interaction.

The placebo effect is another great example, and one aspect of epigenetics.

According to Lipton:

The placebo effect should be the subject of major, funded research efforts.

If medical researchers could figure out how to leverage the placebo effect, they would

hand doctors and efficient, energy based, side effect-free tool to treat disease.

Energy healers say they already have such tools, but I am a scientist, and I believe

the more we know about science of the placebo, the better well be able to use it in a

clinical setting.

In a book written by theoretical nuclear physicist Dr. Amit Goswami, titled The Quantum Doctor,

Deepak Chopra explains this phenomenon in the forward, outlining one of multiple studies

showing some remarkable results:

In one study, a group of patients suffering from chronic severe nausea were given a drug

that they were told was an anti-nausea agent.

Normally, in a placebo trial half the patients would be randomly selected to receive the

drug while other half received a dummy pill.

As expected, more than 30% percent of the subjects who took the dummy poll reported

that their nausea was alleviated.

Only this pill, they had been given an emetic, a drug that promotes nausea.

So powerful was their belief, however, that it somehow reduced their symptoms or to

be more accurate, their minds reduced nausea in the face of

a drug that should have made them vomit.

Arik Reiss - Druglawed Premier at Nimbin MardiGrass 2017 - Duration: 2:09.

Well, I'm the director of the Druglawed documentary series and we've gone all over the world,

to 9 different countries so far and possibly to Canada and Mexico next, to get the specters

on the war on drugs from as many different sides as we possibly can.

So not only we've gone to all these different countries, we've spoken to people on both

sides of the law.

Both, the Cannabis growers and users and suppliers and the police and lawyers and the judges

as well.

We've spoken to the politicians, we've spoken to the doctors.

We've tried to cover every single angle.

Scientists as well, we find that science is not really part of drug policy.

In Australia, in New Zealand, in the United States, in the UK most of the drug policies

are based on hysteria.

They are based on misperceptions about drug users and drug use.

They are based on misconceptions about addiction and the nature of addiction.

We find that addiction is not necessary a pharmacological thing at all.

It has a lot more to do with the connections that people have between each other.

What happened after the Vietnam war if I can make a specific example is that soldiers came

back from Vietnam using heroin every day for months while they were on their tour of duty

and they gave it up when they came back because they reconnected with their families.

That's the nature of addiction, it's got very little to do with a dependence on a substance

and more to do with a lack of connection to other people and communities.

So in order to question these stigmas against drugs we need to build up our pro-drug policy

reform communities.

And I think that's vital to show that we are unified and that we are opposing the prohibitionist

matrix through our own actions through, our own communities.

Which is what Nimbin MardiGrass has done so successfully.

They've created a community of resistance to the drug policy matrix.

And they've been here for 25 years, it is the 25th anniversary of Nimbin MardiGrass

and I'm sure they are going to be here 25 years from now on.

And maybe at that time, we'll all be doing this legally.

This Cozy NYC Fishing Town is a Seafood Mecca || Food/Groups Clam-Diggers & Mussel-Suckers - Duration: 6:08.

Welcome to the Bronx!

I know, not what you expected, right? Looks like the suburbs.

That's 'cause it kinda is -

- even though this is technically a part of New York City, we're worlds away.

This is City Island.

It's a one-and-a-half mile island off the coast of the Bronx proper,

and even though it's technically part of New York City, it's remained basically untouched as the rest of the city has exploded around it.

Today we're here to meet up with Michael Proietti.

He's a born-and-raised City Islander, and a professional chef.

He's going to show us one of his favorite seafood spots,

where we're going to chow down and talk about the island's deep maritime traditions.

-So right now, we're at the Morris Yacht & Beach Club.

-And this is right at the southern tip of the island, right?

-This is the end, yeah. We call it "the end."

Born and raised, my parents lived here for ever.

You know, I moved away from home… it was three blocks.

You know I'm an Italian, youngest Italian boy, I'm supposed to live at home for the rest of my life.

I just never left City Island, 'cause it's just a great spot.

-A lot of people in New York don't even know that City Island exists.

-Yeah, I try not to tell them too much, because we don't want everyone to come here, right? Like, so....

It kind of has a New England vibe.

You have all the seafood restaurants, you kind of have like, the salty dogs working on the boat.

It's kind of perfect. It's like being on vacation every day.

We call ourselves "clam-diggers."

If you're born on City Island, you're a clam-digger.

-Okay

-If you move to City Island, you're a "mussel-sucker".

-So I'm a mu— well, I haven't even moved here, so what am I?

-You're just some schmoe. You're some guy who wants to eat shrimp.

-Cool, let's go do that!

-I'm down!

-Really feels like a small town here, which is totally unfamiliar because it's technically in New York City.

-Well, it is a small town. It's a mile and a half long.

Everybody knows each other.

You can't throw a brick without somebody calling your mother.

-Right.

-When you're a kid, you can't do something without [someone] calling your mom.

-How many bricks did you throw?

-A couple.

-You're a successful chef, but you also spend your time in what amounts to a small seaside town.

-You know, growing up in City Island, hanging out at the beach,

we used to get the mussels off the beach, the clams,

we used to go home and make these huge feasts.

And I think that's really where my love of food kinda started.

-What is this?

-So we got lobster, you got your mussels, your clams, calamari.

You got some scallops.

Underneath all this buttery, garlicky, oreganata-y kinda stuff is pasta.

-Grab yourself a tail there, man.

-No it's a whole half a lobster, or a whole WHOLE lobster!

Here, look, I'll lobster you first.

-You lobster me.

-How good is that lobster, though?

-It's delicious.

-Come on.

-This is so good.

-And it's not chewy, they're really fresh lobsters.

You can taste it in the lobster, it has, almost, like a sweetness to it.

-I assume there's a lot of fresh seafood that moves in and out of City Island, is that right?

-Uh-huh, absolutely. It's kind of the bread and butter of the community.

-We have a very special drink, can you tell us what, exactly, you ordered me?

-It's a Henny colada!

-A Henny colada?!

-Right, so you're in the Bronx!

Hennessey is where it's at, and City Island, you're on vacation, this is your mini "day-cation", right?

So piña colada, Hennessey, it seems kinda…

it works together.

A marriage made on City Island.

-So it's sort of like, this like intersection of a bunch of different cultures,

because you have like the sort of New England-y seafaring vibe,

and then right across the bridge you have the Bronx, the proper Bronx.

-And really, what a lot of these menus do, is they really embrace the seafood culture.

So they'll do it blackened, or Cajun style, Italian style,

or they'll put like a Spanish seasoning, like an adobo on it.

So it really does kinda bring all of the Bronx together,

and I think that's what's perfect about City Island.

-You've cooked in a lot of different places,

what's the difference [here]? Different vibe?

-You know there's definitely a different vibe on City Island, right?

You can't yell at everybody like you can do when you work in Manhattan.

Really, it's more of a sense of community here, so you've gotta be a little nicer.

People are always welcoming other people here.

Because it really is about family, having a good time,

and sometimes you don't know who your family is yet.

-So we had our seafood feast, we said goodbye to Michael.

But no trip to City Island would be complete

without having a local drink where the locals drink: The Snug.

Let's go do it.

-I kinda grew up in this place, The Snug is like my family's business.

We actually got the building about 20 years ago,

and that's when we opened up the diner.

So growing up here, I was very lucky to have that,

like, very present community feel.

-We're drinking Dark & Stormys, they make 'em kinda strong here at The Snug.

This one's got a kick to it.

-They drink it like crazy.

Still one of the big nautical things around here

is the sailors have Wednesday night races, so Wednesday nights will be packed in here.

And they'll all come up and we just immediately run out of Goslings.

Like, immediately run out of Goslings.

Ginger beer will not be in supply.

I mean we are an island, and it's a local bar, so we're not quite as sophisticated as Manhattan yet

So, it's very much like, a Bud Light/Jameson kinda place.

I think one special thing about City Island is that it is very much a part of New York, right?

So besides the street signs, like a lot of the people that live here are from New York,

born and raised in the Bronx, work in the Bronx, work in the city,

a lot of middle-class city workers and stuff.

So you get that very pronounced identity.

Food & drink establishments on City Island,

Local places like The Snug, like the [City Island] Diner, like the [City Island] Lobster House,

that really give the community a place to speak,

and a place to interact with each other.

-It's welcoming in a way that many other places are not.

So I totally get why people come here and stay here.

-When we get new people on the weekends,

on Saturdays and Sundays, we love welcoming them, and saying, you know,

"Thank you so much for coming to our community,

it's been very nice meeting you, and…

here's a Dark & Stormy."

-Here's a Dark & Stormy. [Laughs]

Cheers dude.

-Cheers brother.

-Thanks for having us.

-You got it.

Putin Becomes the 2nd Russian Leader to Discuss Men in Black - Duration: 5:06.

Putin Becomes the 2nd Russian Leader to Discuss Men in Black

BY Paul Seaburn

Has Russian President Vladimir Putin joined the ranks of conspiracy theorists who believe

that many world leaders excluding himself and his Russian counterparts are aliens

working with the Men in Black?

In a wide-ranging interview this week with the French newspaper Le Figaro, Putin may

have let something slip out unintentionally:

I have already spoken to three US Presidents.

They come and go, but politics stay the same at all times.

Do you know why?

Because of the powerful bureaucracy.

When a person is elected, they may have some ideas.

Then people with briefcases arrive, well dressed, wearing dark suits, just like mine, except

for the red tie, since they wear black or dark blue ones.

These people start explaining how things are done.

And instantly, everything changes.

This is what happens with every administration.

Is Putin implying that U.S. presidents at least the last three know about the existence

of UFOs and alien or are aliens themselves being kept in line by the same government

agents dressed in black who have allegedly been seen by many UFO witnesses after speaking

openly about their sightings?

He said wearing dark suits just like mine. Photos of the interview show that Putin was

wearing a black suit.

He also said that when they show up, everything changes. Those might seem to be two small

dots that may just be coincidental and not enough to draw a picture of Putin revealing

the existence of Men in Black.

Except

On December 7, 2012, then Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev was answering questions after

a television interview.

When he believed the microphone was off, he gave the following answer when he was asked

if the president is handed secret files on aliens when he receives the briefcase needed

to activate Russias nuclear arsenal: Along with the briefcase with nuclear codes,

the president of the country is given a special top secret folder.

This folder in its entirety contains information about aliens who visited our planet Along

with this, you are given a report of the absolutely secret special service that exercises control

over aliens on the territory of our country More detailed information on this topic you

can get from a well-known movie called Men In Black I will not tell you how many of

them are among us because it may cause panic.

Medvedev was referring to a controversial Russian documentary film titled Men in Black

that was translated into English and released on Youtube.

While some witnesses said the prime minister appeared to be serious, the Russian government

showed it can spin as well and as fast as its counterparts by saying that the true meaning

of his comment was lost in translation and that he was just joking.

Except

Earlier this week, Stephen Bassett, the executive director of the Paradigm Research Group International

(PRG) and the first ET and UFO disclosure lobbyist in the U.S., revealed that he met

in May with former Soviet and Russian military and agency officials who are now involved

in that countrys UFO and alien disclosure movement in an attempt to convince Vladimir

Putin to become the first world leader to acknowledge the existence of UFOs and extraterrestrials.

Does this add more and bigger dots to the picture?

Is Vladimir Putin (and earlier, Dmitry Medvedev) being taken out of context or is he slowly
